With everything going on Sabrina missed one vital thing. Damon was slowly becoming the next victim of a werewolf bite. It was another heartbreak she couldn't stand back and just watch.
There was no one around in the main areas of the house upon her arrival, with the known onset of symptoms Sabrina guessed that he was in the cellar. She walked down the stairs to the basement. Her assumption was right as she heard Damon's voice coming out of one of the cells.
"What's the plan, Superman?"
"I'm gonna find a way out of this."
"Could you one day play the hero and not let anything happen to you?" she asked making presence known to the brothers.
"How-"
"That's getting old. Stefan right conserve your strength." She cut him off and looked at a confused Stefan who wasn't sure what she was referring to.
She didn't give him an explanation and pressed on with the matter at hand. "Were are we on a cure front?"
"The miracle cure that's non-existent."
"I got Bonnie looking for something, anything." Stefan answered ignoring his brother.
"Always the hero. Just tell me good-bye, get it over with." Damon then began coughing as he rolled over into his stomach and coughed up some blood.
"Lie still. Conserve your strength." He furrowed his brows instinctively giving a little look at Sabrina at his choice on words.

The two left Damon and walked to the living room. Both looked miserable and on edge. It was evident that they were think of the worst.
"Will Bonnie find anything?" he asked her passing her a glass of bourbon.
"I don't know," she answered. "But, we can't just sit around here and wait. Where's Bonnie?"
"The old witches house, why?"
"We should be there with her, in case she finds out something. We can act quicker," She told him putting the glass down on the small table that held the liquor.
"Someone should stay here with Damon. I can do this."
"I'm not going to sit back and do nothing. I can't let another friend die," she said.
"We can't leave Damon on his own."
Sabrina thought for a moment. It felt a little too soon but there was no one else she knew that cared the same as she did.
"Sorry, you've reached somebody who's currently not operating." She heard Alaric's voice on the other end of the line.
"We need your help, Alaric"
"Well, you must have me confused with somebody else. You see, I'm not allowed to help, just idly sit by while my girlfriend gets sacrificed on an altar of blood."
"Trust me, Alaric I know how you're feeling right now and I know it sucks, it's annoying and hurts like a bitch." If there was anyone who would get this all it was him. "I know you don't want to feel like that again, not now and not ever again."
"What's wrong Sabrina?" he asked catching the change in her tone as it started to whimper.
She took a pause before continuing, "Damon's dying, Alaric."
"What?"
"Tyler Lockwood, he bit him and we don't have much time."
"What do you need?"

"I'm not sure this is going to work."
Bonnie finished lighting the candle inside the old house. Sabrina hadn't stepped foot inside it before. It was boarded up, old and decaying. She would have liked to be anywhere else but here but this was something she felt obliged to do, to make up for not being able to save Jenna. She knew it wouldn't clear her conscious but she wasn't ready to add another death to the pain she already felt.
You've done a séance before, right? Contacted Emily Bennett. Maybe one of the witches might know how to help Damon." Sabrina listened as her and Stefan talked.
Let's just hope they want to." The three got up from the ground and stood on a circle as Bonnie began chanting a spell.
The flames of the candles rose as voices began whispering around them.
"Bonnie?" Sabrina called out quietly as Bonnie stopped chanting. "Bonnie?"
She opened her eyes and looked between the two
"Emily." Bonnie's body language changed as Bonnie turned to look at Sabrina. "Sabrina."
"Hello, Emily," the girl greeted back.
"Why have you come here?" the witch asked.
"We need your help. we need to know if there's a spell that can heal a werewolf bite." Stefan answered.
"No. Nature ensures a balance to everything." She replied.
Stefan was sceptical. Is that true...or are you just saying no because it's Damon?"
"Perhaps it is his time to die."
"No. That's not balance. That's punishment."
"I will not give you what you want," Emily reiterated through Bonnie.
Sabrina could tell this witch was stubborn and held dislike against Damon.
"So you're saying that there's an answer to give? Please, if you know something, just tell me. Help me save my brother." Stefan's pleads looked like they were falling on deaf ears.
"Listen here witch," their eyes turned to Sabrina who was beginning to get annoyed with the lack of effort they were making. "Stefan's right, your poor choice of words suggests that natures balance in this argument is a load of BS. I've already lost one friend and I am in no mood to lose another so don't you dare hide behind that when it comes to this," she said in anger.
"You call yourselves the servants of nature and here you deciding who dies and who lives. So, get off your high horse Emily Bennett. Whatever the cure is we have the right to know." Bonnie was quiet after Sabrina's rant.
She caught Stefan and Sabrina off guard when she suddenly raised her hands to her ears and screamed in pain before falling to the floor.
"Bonnie." Stefan and Sabrina kneel down with her.
"They don't want us here. They think I'm abusing their power," Bonnie cried out in pain.
"That's because there is an answer, they just don't want to tell us. Come on Bonnie, you can get into Emily's head, please we need to know," Sabrina pleaded with the witch.
"I heard them say a name," she breathed out in response after a few moments as the pain subsided.
"What was it?"
She hesitated a little before answering him. "Klaus."

"It's not over. There might be a cure, but I have to find Klaus to get it." Sabrina stood behind Stefan as he told Elena about the plan to get the cure.
"No. He's gonna kill you."
"He had the chance to kill me, but he didn't. Whatever Damon's done, whatever has led him here, I'm the one that made him become a vampire in the first place, so if there's a chance for a cure, I owe it to him to find it."
"You can't do this alone"
Sabrina watched as the two embraced.
"I'm not going alone." He told her.
Elena's eyes looked up as she hugged Stefan. Behind him stood Sabrina, she gave her a small smile as she and Stefan parted
Elena turned to look at Stefan "Go talk to him. Just tell him that there's still hope," he told her before walking up to Sabrina.
"There's still time to back out you know."
Sabrina shook her head. "Why would I do that?"
"I don't think you emotionally ready for this after everything that happened at the ritual."
Sabrina clenched her jaw as she relived the moment. "I'm fine," she gritted turning around and heading towards Alaric's apartment.

Sabrina followed Stefan as they made their way up the stairs to the apartment. Opening the door and stepping in, they saw Katherine sitting on the bed shaking her head in discontentment when she saw them.
"Hello, Katherine," Stefan greeted.
"Two days, I've been waiting. I'm supposed to be free of Klaus' compulsion by now. He's supposed to be dead!" she exclaimed, meeting them in the middle of the room.
"There were a few complications," Sabrina commented walking deeper into the room that used to be a prison.
Katherine looked between them in confusion and a little bit of anger. "Complications?"
"Doesn't really matter. I just need to find him. Do you have any idea where he might be?" His sentence didn't seem finished as Katherine grabbed him with her vampire speed. Pushing him against the wall at the far end, she motioning for both him and Sabrina to be quiet.
Sabrina's wasn't quite sure what she meant but soon realised when the door opened and Klaus walked in.
"Klaus, you're back." She walked into view with Stefan. "Look who decided to come for a visit."
Sabrina took her own steps and was slightly taken back as she saw Elijah walk in behind him.
"You just keep popping up, don't you?" Klaus questioned with a smile.
Elijah turned from closing the door as his eyes met hers, they both shared a similar expression.
"Elijah," she breathed out and began walking towards him. The last time they saw each other had been brief . Sabrina had been through a lot of turmoil both pre and post that meeting and now that he was in the same room as her she didn't want to wait to be near him.
"Hello, Sabrina," he mirrored her movement with a smile as the two got closer to each other and leaned into a kiss.
The moment was short lived as a forceful cough from behind them made them stop. Looking at the three other people in the room Sabrina stood holding Elijah. Her eyes were on Klaus.
"You seem to have a lot of pent up anger in your eyes, Love. They say crying is a tension reliever, you may want to try it."
Sabrina was about to take a step in his direction but was held back by Elijah. "Niklaus," he warned.
Another cough was heard from Stefan, clearing his throat. "We need your help...For my brother."
"Well, whatever it is, it's gonna have to wait a tick. You see, I have an obligation to my brother that requires my immediate attention," Klaus told him as he began walking around the room.
"You understand how important family is, or you wouldn't be here." Sabrina's hand let go of Elijah's, allowing him to walk towards Stefan. While Elijah spoke, Sabrina walked to stand beside Katherine, deciding best to have them finish their moment.
"My brother gave me his word that he would reunite me with my own."
"And so I shall." Elijah turned around as Klaus' voice spoke from behind him. Not giving him a moment to react, he plugged a dagger through Elijah's chest.
"No!" Sabrina cried out. She wasn't able to run to him as she wanted to. Looking back she saw Katherine pulling on her shoulders not letting her.
Sabrina watched as Elijah let out a scream followed by a groan, the body decaying as Klaus hushed it to the ground.
Not even glancing at the body, Klaus sped over to Stefan pushing him up against the wall.
"Now, what am I gonna do with you two?" His eyes flickering between the vampire he held and the human in Katherine's arms.
