Hi guys. Sorry this is a bit late. Anyway thank you for reading so far and I hope you keep reading. Thanks. :)
Kate still had the file close to her chest as she went through each corridor. She walked past everyone in the corridor making sure they couldn't see what the file was about. She needed to get this to Mike. Whatever Swaine said she needed to see the CO urgently.
Kate reached the sick bay and knocked on the door. Swaine came to the door and peered out with a stern face.
"Yes?" He asked her.
"I need to see the CO." Kate pleaded.
"Is it urgent?"
"Yes!"
Swaine frowned. He rolled his eyes and let her in. Kate thanked him and went over to Mike's bed.
"Kate? You look like you've seen a ghost!" Mike smiled.
"It's this." Kate said passing the file over to Mike.
She looked back at Swaine with a stern look. Swaine knew where he wasn't wanted and left back to the bridge. Kate turned back to Mike. Mike could tell that the file he had in his hand could change the Hammersley's timeout here. He opened the file and sighed.
"Oh no." Mike said once he had read it.
"You've seen it then. Why the Starlight really sank?" Kate asked.
"I had no idea. You have to trust me on this one." Mike said looking her in the eye.

Spider and Bomber had been sent down to the kitchens for dinner that night. Spider was peeling more spuds and Bomber was stirring a big pot of stew. Even though it wasn't too cold outside the ship, nearly everyone on board the Hammersley loved stew and they would never let Bomber and Spider down if they didn't make one.
"Bomber…" Spider started to say, stopping peeling the spuds.
"Spider, you're supposed to be peeling the spuds!" Bomber said, looking at him.
"I know, I'm doing them. It's just I was wondering what the X was so secretive about."
"Probably nothing to do with you." Bomber laughed.
"Well thanks." Spider jokes.
Spider began to peel the spuds fastly. Bomber sighed loudly when he started to do this. She always got annoyed when Spider was acting like this.
"Fine we can talk about the secret." Bomber finally gave in.
"Good because I have a lot of feelings about it." Spider said standing up.
"Go ahead." Bomber smiled sarcastically.
"Well, surely we all know about the Starlight now so what would they have to hide from us?"
"I don't know Spider."
"Also, if the Starlight had been in danger and everyone knew about it, how come no one helped it?"
Bomber sighed as Spider continued to carry on. She blocked out everything Spider was saying and just concentrated on the stew instead.
"What do you think, Bomber?" Spider finally asked her.
"What?" Bomber said, surprised.
"You haven't been listening have you?!" Spider said frustrated.
"Might not have." Bomber said.
Spider went back to peeling the spuds quickly again. Bomber let him be and just let him carry on. There was no budging him in this mood.
"How's the stew doing?" Spider asked after some silence.
"It's fine." Bomber smiled.
"I'm really hungry. I hope it's done soon." Spider said, licking his lips.
"Don't do that." Bomber moaned.
Spider smiled at her creepily. Bomber shuddered as she turned back to the stew. She got a spoon and tasted it. She coughed a little when she had tasted it.
"A little hot is it?" Spider smiled, turning to his spuds.
"Maybe a little bit." Bomber said with a quiet voice.
Bomber brushed herself off as she got some more stuff and put it into the stew to calm it down a bit.

Buffer was keeping an eye on the bridge. As both Kate and Mike were indisposed, it meant that he was now in charge much to the annoyance of the bridge crew.
"How are we doing Nav?" He asked her.
"Good Buff. We should be out by tomorrow morning." Nav said to him.
"Good to know."
"We may have a problem Buff." Charge piped up.
"What's that Charge?" Buffer asked the engineer.
"We might have to stay here for a few days."
"What? Why?" Buffer asked in surprise.
"It seems our boiler needs to cool down and it won't do that for a few days yet." Charge sighed.
"So we're stuck out here?!" Nav said grumpily.
"Seems so." Charge said much to the disappointment of everyone.
Everyone had looked forward to moving on. They had been stuck here for three days now and needed somewhere else to go. Now they had to stay here for a few days more?! Moral was going to be at an all time low.

Kate had made her way up to the bridge again leaving Mike to think about the news she had just given him. Swaine re-entered the room. He saw the look on Mike's face and decided not to ask.
"It's all my fault Swaine." Mike sighed.
"What is sir?" Swaine had to ask.
"All of this. Why the Starlight is here in the first place." Mike said.
"I won't ask anymore." Swaine decided.
"Best not to." Mike smiled.
Mike winced a little when he had said this. Swaine had noticed this a million times that day. He folded his arms towards Mike. Mike tried not to think of it.
"It's nothing Swaine." Mike said, trying to calm Swaines' mood.
"It doesn't look like nothing." Swaine said back.
"I assure you it's nothing." Mike smiled.
"Then you wouldn't wince if it was nothing." Swaine smiled back.
Mike gave up. Swaine just gave a frown at his patient. Even if Mike was the CO, Swaine still had a duty of care over everyone on the ship. Mike had tried but failed to keep Swaines spirits up.
"Has Commander White said how you're getting treatment yet?" Swaine asked hopefully.
"Not yet. They'll find something." Mike promised.
"I hope it's sooner rather than later." Swaine whispered.
Mike just nodded. He couldn't agree more, White and Marshall were very keen to help but it didn't look like they were going to find something just yet.
