The egg was shot from the ground by a catapult as a platoon of Vermillion Warriors and some vehicles were stationary. The Ninja come to the edge of the temple grounds while Lloyd was helping Dragon out. On a hill were Krux, Acronix, Blunck, Raggmunk and Machia. Machia was looking at them through a telescope before she looked down at the warriors. "I've run a fourth level analysis." Zane said. "It appears the snake warriors have returned to retrieve the Time Blade."

"Really?" Gewuji sarcastically asked.

"I could have told you that with a third level analysis." Jay said. "Or a no level analysis."

"Well, we're all the way up here, and they're all the way down there." Cole replied.

"Yeah, there's no chance they could reach us." Maggie said before a snake egg comes by, causing them to duck down as it lands behind them and cracked open, revealing some Vermillion snakes and armour.

"Oh, come on." Nya said.

"They built catapults?" Blake asked.

"Whatever." Cole replied. "It's just a bunch of snakes."

"Still, better to be on guard." Geoff said.

"Geoff is right, Ninja." Dragon replied as Lloyd helped him down the stairs. "There is more to your adversaries than you may think."

Another egg is catapulted and lands next to the first egg and opened, revealing more snakes as they form into Vermillion Warriors. "Uh, whatever." Gewuji said. "It's just a bunch of warriors. I mean, they are not armed. But we are." They soon got out their weapons.

"Oh, big mistake!" Jay said to the warriors. "Never brings fists to a nunchuck-axe-sword-sai-scythe-staff-katana-tonfa-shuriken fight." Another egg soon came up from behind them and flies over them before landing and cracked open, revealing swords, which the warriors pick up. "Oh, wow. They went from unarmed snakes to fully weaponized Vermillion Warriors really, really fast."

"Doesn't matter, we can ta-" Kai was soon cut off.

"Wait." Blake said. "That's what they're called? Vermillion Warriors?"

"Ha, I know." Jay replied.

"So lame." Maggie said.

"There are so many better names."

"Actually, the name is quite clever." Zane said as another egg lands in front of them before breaking open, revealing more Vermillion snakes. "You see, vermillion is a shade of red with a slight orange tint, a colour which symbolizes life and eternity. So in that sense, they should actually be commended for-"

"Guys, focus." Lloyd cuts Zane off as Dragon goes to sit down. "Everyone ready?"

"I will sit this one out to preserve my strength." Dragon said as he held the blue Time Blade.

"Good idea, Master. Ninja-"

"-go!" The Ninja yell as soon do Spinjitzu, taking all the Vermillion Warriors apart before dispersing and cheer for their easy victory.

Down below, Machia looks through the telescope to see their celebration as Blunck had his arms folded. "Great plan, General Machia." He sarcastically said.

"Yeah, it took the Ninja, what, three seconds to defeat them?" Raggmunk asked before turning to Acronix. "See? This is what happens when you put her in charge."

"That was merely the first salvo." Machia said as she turned to them. "Next, we bring in the big boy."

Back on the temple grounds as the Vermillion snakes slither away, Kai heads over to Dragon and Cole looked around. "Okay, that was a lot easier than I thought." He said.

"Awesome work, everyone." Lloyd said.

"I wouldn't call this easy yet." Geoff replied.

"Now can you tell me what that marking means?" Kai asked as he came up to Dragon.

"Yes." Dragon replied. "You must know that..." On the ground below, Machia moves a hand to her head as the snakes merge into all of the armour pieces. "We have another concern."

"No." Gewuji said as all the snakes merge into one giant Vermillion Warrior. "I do not like where this is headed."

On the ground, Machia laughed as he creation was complete. "The big boy." She said.

The giant warrior looks at the Ninja before they charge at it, each trying to strike it as best as they could, but are knocked back before it strikes Kai, knocking him near the pond and it hisses at Zane and Blake before moving about again as the Ninja get ready to attack. As Kai slowly recovered, the warrior grabs hold of Nya as Geoff and Gewuji try to strike it. "Let her go!" They yelled before the warrior used its free hand to knock them down before throwing Nya into Kai.

"Hey, Nya, do you remember what we used to do to James when he made us go to bed early?" He asked.

"Of course." She replied.

The warrior struck Jay down before pushing Lloyd forward and struck Zane as Blake held his hand out, blowing some wind at it, but it barely makes a move before it strikes him, knocking him near the pond as it soon felt the metal being pulled on and looked to see it was Maggie, who is holding her hands out. "Come on!" She said before the metal came, but with the snakes still attached before it hits her, nearly sending her over the edge and strikes Cole from behind.

As Lloyd recovered, the warrior heads over to him. "Hey, you!" The warrior turned to Nya. "It's not my bedtime!" She runs up to it as Kai was laying down in front of her before she bounces off his back and jumps over it, spinning as she did so before landing and held her sword out to it as it came close while Kai discreetly ran beside it. "Because I've still got plenty of energy." She backs away until she comes across the edge and Kai kneels down between them. "But it's lights out for you." The warrior moves too strike Nya, but she jumps out of the way before Kai grabs hold of the armour and with all his might, pulls it forward, sending it falling off the edge.

"Oh, man!" Jay said as he looked on. "Whatever they paid Mr. Debitum wasn't nearly enough."

"Come on." Kai gets up while Nya points to the Destiny's Bounty. "We can use Destiny's Bounty to fly above all this and get a good view of the others' position."

Several eggs are soon catapulted into the Bounty, hitting it. "Oh, no." Cole said.

"Or not."

"What?" Jay asked before the Bounty's thrusters start failing and it moves down.

"No, no, no." Gewuji said as the eggs kept coming even as the Bounty fell.

"Overwhelming force." Machia said as her eyes glowed. "Do not stop until the mission is complete.

In a room inside the temple, Tania had just filled a cup as Misako was looking on before a shadow suddenly appeared, causing them to look and see a Vermillion egg coming in, causing them to duck down as it broke through the window and lands behind them. The egg broke open and the Vermillion snakes inside start merging with the metal in it. The two women looked on as the warrior picked up its sword. "Oh, hello." Tania said before she grabbed the teapot and threw it at the warrior, taking it apart as Misako grabbed a nearby frying pan. "Tea?" Tania quickly scowls down the cup as the warrior reformed and she grabs a big kitchen knife. The warrior charges at them as Tania quickly used the knife to block the sword.

Outside, several eggs had landed on the temple grounds as Vermillion Warriors were coming together, holding swords or axes, before they charge at them. One warrior charges at Maggie, but she simply holds her hand out, causing the warrior to come apart as the metal is attracted to her before she moved her hand, sending it over the edge. "We have to go on the offensive." Lloyd said as he blocked a warrior's sword and kicked it back while running over to a nearby rock and strikes an egg as it was airborne. "They're bringing everything up here, which means we have to go down there and take out their equipment."

"But how?" Jay asked as he quickly struck a warrior from behind and Geoff grabs hold of one's axe before using it and his own to strike it.

"Like this." Lloyd jumps in the air and forms his Power Dragon.

"I see what you mean." Gewuji said as she jumped off the edge and formed her Power Dragon.

"Lloyd, Gewuji, I really don't think going down there's a good idea." Blake said as he jumped over a warrior before holding his hands out, blowing it off the temple ground as Kai quickly struck a warrior coming to him.

"Especially on dragons." Zane replied as he kicked two warriors while coming up to Kai and Blake. "In the past, your fears have caused your dragons to vanish and-"

"That was a long time ago." Lloyd cuts him off. "I am now a master..."

"In training." Jay reminds him while quickly striking a warrior on the side and Geoff threw the Vermillion Axe he had at a nearby warrior, knocking it down.

"And our temple is under attack." Gewuji said, agreeing with her boyfriend. "We don't have time for fear."

"Gewuji, you and I will take care of the ones down below." Lloyd said, explaining his plan. "You guys hold them off up here. And protect the Time Blade." He and Gewuji turn their Power Dragons around and charge down at the forces below.

"Hmm." Jay said as he watched them fly down. "You do have to admire their unfounded moxie."
