Space Ghost
Chapter 32
Kate was home after yet another sitting. This time his assistant had an appointment so Ador had to man his own gallery. As usual the little bots were still making things. She didn't even get to go inside when suddenly Alexis and Alexandre came out and walked right past her.
"Where's everyone going?" Granted they may be going on a date since they had done that on occasion.
"We're expecting a delivery and someone needs to be there," Alexis said and kept walking. "You want to come?" Alexis called over her shoulder.
Kate had seen a couple and felt like she didn't need to see another. "No, thanks. Have fun." Kate went inside to get out of the heat and saw Lais, Rick, and Rafael. "Hi."
"Well you look happy." Lais didn't see her glowing but she did look a little less serious.
"I… maybe." Kate wasn't going to commit to being happy.
"So how are the sittings going?" Rick inquired.
Kate sat down and Lais got up and handed her Rafael who actually looked a little happy to be changing arms. "He's finished the first one and is hopeful that he will finish the second one in time for the showing," Kate replied and played with Rafael who only had eyes for her.
"So what does the first one look like?" Lais would really love to see it but she could wait for the showing.
"I don't know. He won't let me see it. He says I'm just going to have to wait. He's being a tease." Kate wasn't used to being teased like this.
"So no date today?" They had all learned that after a sitting and he closed the store they went out on a date.
"Not today. He has to man the gallery. I'm still not sure just how much money he makes. Of course I'm in the back during a sitting but I've never actually seen him sell anything." She liked what he painted and she still had that one painting on the wall in her bedroom. But how did he make a living?
"You are there during lunch," Rick reminded her. "A lot like Earth, people work during the day. Maybe he sells most of it at night and on weekends. Unless he owns the space he does have bills." Actually he had bills even if he did.
"I guess." She was always there at the same time every time.
"So you go back in two days for another sitting." Lais was happy that she was seeing this through.
"Yes, he talked about just two more then the gallery showing is in just under two weeks. He said he'll have tickets for everyone at the last sitting. You're sure you want to go with this little guy?" Kate smiled. He was squealing and happy.
"We'll have to skip out from time to time but if we can get you to hold him occasionally he should stay nice and quiet." Lais was happy that Kate was coming around when it came to babies.
"I can handle that." Then Kate sniffed. "I think you can have him back now." She wasn't changing his diaper. She got up and handed him back to Lais who stood then went into their bedroom to get his bag and then into the bathroom.
"So are you posing naked yet?" Rick smiled at her.
"Okay, I'm going to my room now." Kate moved toward the hallway that led to her bedroom. "For the record I have posed nude once. But not for him." Kate smiled widely when he put his fist in his mouth and bit it.
"Does he know that?" Rick yelled after her.
Kate crashed onto her bed and looked at the picture on the far wall. "No, he doesn't. Not yet." She was learning to like him since they talked during her sittings and they talked on their dates.
She had already asked him to paint what he saw when he looked at her. She knew she had walls and they were keeping him out. But she was really curious what he saw. He had only said maybe.
Since the bedroom door was closed she got up, stripped, then got back into bed, and began stroking her pussy. She needed release and ignored the fact that Ador was in her thoughts as she slowly brought herself to an orgasm.

Kate had finished her makeup. She took out the curlers from her hair and tried to get her hair to look perfect. She smiled at her reflection in the mirror. Success!
Next she slipped into a thong and picked up her one and only formal dress she had. It was a one shoulder, trumpet/mermaid style that was floor length. It was fully lined and had a built-in bra so Kate didn't need a separate one. It was tulle and lilac silk charmeuse fabric. The top part was partly see through and looked more like lace to her.
The one thing Lais hadn't gotten that many of was shoes that fit her so she was stuck with wearing the black open-toed four inch heels. She actually liked the idea of being taller than he was.
A touch of perfume between her breasts and Kate walked into the living room where everyone was waiting for her.
"WOW!" Rick liked what he saw.
"You clean up very nicely, Kate." Lais was impressed.
"Very nice, but I'm keeping Alexis," Alexandre smiled.
"Smart man." Alexis kissed him in front of her dad who didn't even blink for a change.
"And look at you!" Kate used both hands to show how happy she was with Lais's look.
"Thank you and it actually fits." Lais had worked hard at getting the weight off in all the right places so that it did fit her.
"And I look forward to taking it off her later tonight," Rick added, smiling.
"TMI, Dad. Way too much information!" Alexis didn't need to hear that.
"Now you know how I feel," Rick fired back since everyone knew her and Alexandre were sexually active.
"Let's get going. I for one want to see what he has painted." Lais really wanted to see what he saw when he painted Kate. "Tickets?" Lais asked and watched Kate hurry to her room since she'd forgotten them. She came back with the clutch that held more than their tickets that she had also forgotten.

They were soon outside the building that held this event. "Nervous?" Lais whispered since Kate had been biting her lower lip almost the entire trip.
"Petrified, actually." Kate both did and didn't want to see what Ador had painted during her sittings.
"Well suck it up and let's go while Rafael is still quiet." Kate had held him on the train trip; he was presently in Rick's arms and still happy.

"OH MY GOD!" Lais went first to show Kate it was safe and she stepped into a massive space that was three floors tall. It had an exposed roof system and exposed A/C duct work that was painted a bright blue so it couldn't be missed.
Rick was next with Rafael and the first thing he saw was all the food that took up the very center of the open space.
Kate was next and was equally impressed with the space. "This definitely isn't his gallery." She was sure he could put four of his just in the main open area on the ground floor.
"WOW!" Alexis was next while holding Alexandre's hand who was last.
Lais followed Rick to the food while Kate went with Alexis and Alexandre and started to their right.
There were three floors on three sides of the space so there was a lot to see.

Lais and Rick caught up to them on the second floor on the same side. "Have you found him yet?" Lais was curious.
Kate shook her head. "Not yet," Alexis said.
Since they were on the third floor they stayed there and moved to the next wall opposite from the main entrance. Up there Alexis took Alexandre to the railing and looked down on the food area. "Hey!" Alexis pointed.
Alexandre watched as a couple walked in and someone took their tickets just like they did theirs. However, he saw them take something from a stand that they had somehow missed.
"I'll get them." Alexandre ran to the closest set of stairs.
"One for everyone, babe," Alexis called after him.
He was soon back and just a touch out of breath since he had sprinted up and down the stairs.
Alexis unfolded it and looked for his name. "Third floor, over there." She indicated the far wall on the left side of the entrance. "You get the others." Alexis walked toward his space.

Kate had Rafael in her arms when they finally found Alexis who was standing in front of two paintings that had Kate's face all over both of them though one of them was a bit of a challenge.
"WOW!" Lais had wanted to see and now she was.
"I'll say." Rick added his 2 cents.
"He… Is this what he sees?" Kate wasn't sure what to expect but based on what he normally painted she guessed she shouldn't be too surprised.
One was a face split right down the middle. The right side was her face though he had changed her hair color from brown to bleached blonde. Her eye was beautiful though her pupil had fire in it. The left side was either scales or armor. She wasn't sure which. The eye was just a slit that was totally on fire. Her teeth were exposed though they looked more like big fangs than teeth with no lips like the other side.
Now the other painting was totally more what she was used to seeing from him. She was standing there dressed in black scaled armor. She had a white wing on one side that had blue eyes in several of the feathers. The other side had a wing that looked more like spider legs. Once again he had changed her hair color from blown to a seriously bleached blonde.
But in this case she had an angel's halo over her head. Her face looked very serious, not at all soft and sensuous. Kate saw herself as half angelic and half evil.
"You made it!" Ador stepped up behind the group. He had met Alexis before but everyone else was new.
"We did. I'm Lais. This is Rick, his daughter Alexis, my son Alexandre and Kate has our son Rafael. I love what you've done." Lais turned back to look at his paintings of Kate. They hadn't even paid any attention to his other works yet.
Ador was glowing as he watched Kate bouncing a baby in her arms. He saw that her dark coat wasn't off yet but it was open a little and he saw what he had painted more clearly. He was really looking forward to seeing her without her dark coat now.
"This is what you see?" Kate turned away from him and kept bouncing Rafael to look at her half angelic and half evil form.
Ador explained the one. "Both of them are what I've seen when I look at you. Soft and sensuous on one side and hard and serious on the other."
"This one is you on one side and what…" He was about to say kill but that sounded harsh. "What your job has required of you on the other. What you're wearing is the coat that I see."
Kate looked at the armor again. It was hard and it was molded to her. However, there was an error in what he had drawn. Her breasts weren't anywhere near as large as this.
"I'm not getting a boob job." She wanted real breasts not fake ones no matter how small they might or might not be.
Ador defended himself. "A man can dream. Besides I'm an artist. Give me a break here."
"Maybe I'll only break one arm. You can paint with the other," Kate teased him just as Rafael decided to get cranky.
"I'll take him; give me the bag." Lais took the baby bag from Rick and went to the closest and only restroom in the building down on the ground floor.
"Are you getting noticed?" Kate wanted for him to do well at this showing.
"It's still early but I've actually sold one. They'll be back at my gallery to collect it. This one, actually." He pointed to the painting of her head.
"This one? Really!?" Kate and the others went back to looking at it. "Can I ask why?" It wasn't her favorite.
"They talked about the fire in your eyes is what got their attention. Don't get mad but to them they saw an angel on one side and a demon on the other," Ador mentioned.
"So now I'm a demon now," Kate teased him and smiled when he held up his hands in surrender.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Never question what people see. Especially when it earns me money." That had Rick and Alexis laughing and Kate and Alexandre simply smiling.
"Have you seen everyone yet?" Ador questioned.
"We started on the right side then came across the top floor to here. We haven't even tried the food yet," Rick answered.
"You should go see everyone. Just don't buy anything from them. You should only buy from me." Ador smiled since he was kidding and hopeful.
"I need to wait for Lais. You two are free to go wherever. If we get lost we can meet at the food," Rick told Alexis and Alexandre.
"Don't go spending money, Dad. We still have a lot to purchase," Alexis warned him, knowing her dad really well even with a warning.
"I promise." Rick held up his hand while he promised.
Alexis didn't believe him but she left him behind anyway. Rick followed them out to the railing and waited for Lais and his son to join him.
Kate left Ador and looked around at everything else he had brought that wasn't her. She more felt him behind her than saw him.
Everything else was a lot more like what was hanging on her bedroom wall. Then she saw something that was totally different.
It took up five whole panels to show it all and it was easily eight feet long. It had a woman kneeling way down facing the floor. She had her arms spread to either side. One was shooting out fire while the other was shooting out cold blue ice.
"Like it?" Ador murmured.
"At least she isn't wearing dark armor. I'm starting to detect a theme here. Evil on one side and good on the other," Kate said.
"It is the classic battle. Good versus evil. It will last until the day time itself comes to an end." Ador kissed her hand. "Excuse me." He saw a couple that were looking and pointing. He was here to sell and get noticed.
Kate had seen everything he had and was back to standing in front of hers. Seeing her walls was painful. She looked so dark and lonely. Even back on Earth she could count the number of friends she had on one hand. Yet she was on a different planet and she had more friends here than she did there.
"You okay?" Ador was back and she looked unhappy. He hadn't painted them with the intent of making her sad.
"I'm fine," Kate said softly but he could hear the pain in her voice.
Ador had heard her use that word a lot over the last month or so. It was always what she said. She never said she was sad, mad, happy, or glad ever. She was always fine.
"Fine, huh?" Ador decided it was time. He had wanted to do this for weeks but didn't want her to run away; he'd really wanted to paint her. So he spun her around and moved in slowly to give her a chance to run away. She didn't so he kissed her. Then he slowly embraced her and felt her kiss him back. The next thing he knew her arms were around his neck. He wasn't used to kissing women that were actually taller than he was so this was different.
Kate knew she wasn't a fan of PDA, though she did like the kiss and had wondered what kissing him would be like.
Ador finally broke from the kiss and he kept hold of her. "Can I talk you into another date? Maybe a weekend date this time. I have an idea for one. I just need to know when you have the time available." She was police so she needed to be off duty.
"I'd like that," Kate answered easily. "I'll be ready when you are." She wasn't working and was willing to let him think she was for now. She could explain later.
"Good, come by my place in two days for another sitting and we can talk." Ador was already planning his next painting of her.
"You want to draw me again?" Weren't two enough?
"I've got another person who wants to purchase the painting of your split face but I only have the one. I told them I could paint something else and see if they like it. It seems I actually need you for something other than personal reasons. I like spending time with you," Ador smiled and caressed her face.
"I do, too. I'll be there. I should find my friends. Good luck with your showing." Kate gave him a quick kiss only for him to hold her tight then kiss her again which had her kissing him back.
Kate was touching her lips when she was out of sight of him and jumped out of her skin when Lais showed up in front of her.
"Kissing now, I see." Lais was smiling widely.
"You tell anyone and I'll hurt you," Kate said heatedly.
"I'll keep your secret. …For now. Have you told him you're human?" Lais saw a potential problem. One of these days they would be leaving.
"No." Kate let her head drop. That was going to be a problem if she let them go where she thought they might end up. "Maybe I should just break up with him now." It would be easier on both of them.
"Have you lost your mind? I saw that kiss. You like him so just admit it." Lais took both of her hands in hers. "Please don't screw this up because of your fears. Give him a chance to decide. He's a big boy. Didn't you tell me once that a boyfriend dumped you for his job? Don't do the same to him." Didn't she see she was doing to him what Will had done to her?
"You're right." Kate hated it when other people were right. "Fine, I'll give him a chance," Kate relented; she would tell him eventually. "Lais?" Kate glanced around furtively and moved in closer to whisper to her. "Are humans and Enthosians compatible?" Kate couldn't believe she was asking this but it might be important one day.
Lais felt her smile almost break her face. "I'll help you name the baby and even babysit. Honestly, Kate, I don't know. We can find out when we get home." Then Lais hugged her. "I'm happy for you. Show Ador the real you."
Unfortunately Kate wasn't sure who or what the real her was.

Kate didn't need Alexis any longer to reach his gallery and hadn't for quite some time. Now she was standing out front. She took a deep breath and went inside. She had agreed to a weekend date which meant they would be sleeping somewhere.
She found him sitting at a desk even though his door did have an alarm to announce it had opened. "Hi."
Ador was all smiles and got up to put his arms around her and kiss her again. "Hi." She had kissed him back. "Have a seat." He invited her to sit in the chair across from him.
"We can start our session right after I show you this. I was thinking of going here for our date." He spun the view on his desk so that it faced her.
She hadn't seen anything like it but it was just a little different.
Kate found a way to cycle through the pages. There was a small amusement park across the street and a water park right next door. Their place was a hotel. "It's on a beach." There was a beach near here? She didn't know that.
"It's a three hour train ride from here."
Okay, so it wasn't close. She was going to need to talk with Alexis about this. Going into town was one thing but this was another. Waterpark and beach had bikini written all over it. Then she saw that it was an apartment and even had a kitchen. But it only had the one bedroom and one bed.
"It looks nice." One bed was what she was stuck on.
"Great, shall we get started?" Ador got up and headed for the back area so he could start painting her again. He left Kate sitting there. She had initially agreed to a weekend date and knew what that meant. It was just actually seeing it was something else.
Kate gathered up her courage and followed him into the back. "We need to talk first." She took a deep breath and said, "I'm an alien and not born on this planet." She couldn't believe she was the alien now.
She had a doctor's appointment to see if humans were compatible. If not he needed to know that.
