Back at the house two years later Luther woke up in the infirmary remembering everything that had happened. He sat up and Allison stepped forward, "Are you alright?"

He wasn't looking at her, "Where's Eliza?"

Allison was confused, "Who's Eliza?"

Luther answered quickly, "Eight, she chose to be Eliza during our time on the moon."

Diego in the doorway, "Wait, she was with you?"

Luther nodded as he swung his legs over the side of the bed, "Yes, where is she?"

"I'm here." Eliza/Eight stepped forward and Luther looked as if the world had come back to him. She smiled, "Hello Luther."

Luther stood and opened his arms, she dashed into them. He said quietly in her hair, "I thought that I'd lost you."
The moment was shattered by Klaus, "What's going on?" He looked at the hugging pair, "What have you two been up to?"

They let go while laughing gently, "Klaus," Eliza went, "you know how to enter a room don't you."

Klaus was distracted by it and answered, "It's a gift."

They all rolled their eyes at that, Diego, on the other hand was not to be distracted. "So, the two of you met on the moon?"

Eliza/Eight nodded, "Well, I crashed into it and he found me."

Luther, "She was unconscious as well as wounded so I took her back to the pod to take care of her." Then with a gentle squeeze, "It's a miracle this one survived."

Allison, "Then what happened?"

Eliza, "After a month he helped me see that I could choose my own name so I chose Eliza. Then for nineteen months and twenty eight days we lived in the idea that the Others believed I was dead." She looked down, "Then they found out I wasn't and I had to go home. And they wiped all signs of my existence from the pod and made the two of us forget about what happened."

Vanya and Five had quietly joined the family. When silence met the end of Eliza's explanation Vanya spoke, "Well Eliza is a lovely name." Eliza lit up at that and as everyone agreed to this statement. Then Vanya continued, "How did the two of you remember that this happened if they had made you forget?"

Eliza looked up at Luther as if saying it was his turn so he took it, "There was a familiarity." Then he continued, "But mostly it came by the two of us looking at the moon and discussing the place it has had in our lives." He shrugged, "I spent four years up there."

Then the lady took her cue, "As a Number it can be difficult for the Others to erase everything, so I remembered that I had a mission up there. I just couldn't remember a thing about the planet." After a moment's pause of consideration, "I just remembered feeling at peace and happy for the first time in my life."

Five took this information, "So the memories aren't completely gone, they just have to be josled."

Eliza looked at him, "What are you planning?"

Five gave an evil smile, "We have assassins on our tail." Then he looked up at them, "And you two have provided a bargaining chip."
