Internal Deception

Chapter 27th

Loreile walked out of the office needing to head for her quarters to go over the log for when Senator Murphy will be arriving. However she tapped the ear piece inside to continue to keep it on while she spoke.

"I do hope you heard the threat gentlemen. He's scared and no doubt will be running out of his office soon. The GPS tracker should be working. I will be turning off the device in a moment. Good luck with catching the rats and the cheese." She turned off the electronic ear piece to walk inside her quarters after driving over.

Meanwhile Mcgee and Nick Torres were waiting in an unmarked vehicle keeping watch until they see the manager Gordon Liber of the Evergreen safehouse starts to move out of the safehouse and main target.

Mcgee tried talking to Torres drinking his coffee after a late night evening with Eleanor Bishop. "So Nick how's Bishop after being released from the safehouse?" He asked with using the binoculars to watch for Gordon.

"She's fine, even though she said something about needing to talk with either Sloane or Doctor Grace about her experience. No doubt lately she had an earful for when she spoke with Gibbs about shooting Pedro Hernandez." Torres responded with a smile.

"We don't discuss that subject ever again Nick. He shot and killed the man 30 years ago and it needs to be laid to rest. By the way did you get your answer in regard to the ring that was given to her?"

"She said yes Mcgee for which I am very happy about. However right now I will discuss it further once this case is closed." Taking a deep breath into his lungs..

"Hold it! He's moving. What does the GPS tracker show?" Mcgee asked solely with placing the glasses down to begin driving.

"Looks like he's heading for the secretary of defense offices Mcgee. Be careful driving we don't want to spook the man?" Torres exclaimed with his excitement getting the best of him.

Gordon continued to drive until he reach the main gate showing his badge to the security guard(NCIS agent). He waves him on into the main section for where Wynn Crawford was located. Meanwhile Director Vance and two other agents were waiting to pounce hiding until it was necessary to arrest the two rats.

They were inside a security area down the hall with security cameras watching the main elevator and offices. Vance was talking to someone with an electronic piece in his ear. While Gibbs was quiet while watching the cameras. "He's coming off the elevator now Leon." Gibbs announced needing to do something more at this point.

Leon made an announcement to all agents on the case to be ready to make the arrests.

Wynn Crawford was sitting at his desk reading a file when he was surprised by Gordon of the Evergreen safehouse. He dropped the file onto his desk. "What the hell are you doing here? You were told never to come here Gordon." He was angry among other things as well.

"What the hell do you think you're doing trying to cut me out of my payments?" He pulled out the small diskette that was given to him by Lt. Baskins.

"What is it?" Crawford asked with trying to calm his nerves and his stomach.

"Everything we have done with hiring hit men, murdering Hussein and the assistant warden of the prison and so much more and including every transaction paid to you, myself and those of Hussein's main man Carlos Brille." Gordon continues to hold the diskette when all of a sudden Gibbs, Vance and three other agents come busting in with their weapons.

"I suggest the both of you don't move with being arrested for 15 different charges along with several counts of murdered. And this time Crawford we have all of the hard evidence on you and your buddy here." Gibbs announced with pulling out his cuffs to place them behind Crawford's wrists and his back, while Vance did the same with Gordon both quiet at this point.

"Take them both to NCIS and the interrogation rooms." Director Vance ordered.

Sometime later_ Naval Yards

Director Vance asked Gibbs to talk with Crawford in room one while he would take over in room two. Wynn still had his cuffs on complaining about them cutting into his wrists.

Gibbs walked in like always carrying his notepad and throwing it onto the table while grabbing a chair and slamming it into place. Once set he started to stare at him for a moment before starting to talk.

"Alright Now, I can't say I am sorry this time that we finally caught you in the trap. And there is nothing you can say to get your sorry ass out of it."

"If it wasn't for that bastard coming to see me, you and the others would of never known." Wynn exclaimed with his words to try and kick himself with his legs."

"Very true! However you were caught and this time you're going to jail with your buddy and the others from Hussein's terrorist group. Plus there are other charges as well that will be laid out once your lawyer arrives to be explained in great detail."

"You're really enjoying this Special Agent Gibbs?" He responded with a slight smile on his features to really piss off Gibbs with wanting to hit him. However he was able to control himself with getting up to leave. However he turned to answer his question.

"No, I am not!" He walked out to take in a deep breath. While Meeting Vance in the corridor after he finished with Gordon.

"Are you alright?" Leon needed to asked with his long time friend and special agent.

"Not really. However I will be fine getting away from here. Do I still get my week off as promised?" He says softly with his tone and demeanor.

"Yeah, you have the week off. However I forgot to mention that Doctor Grace would like to finish her conversation with you. She's waiting for you in her office. Congrats on helping us out with the case being closed Jethro. Now get out of here and say hello to Lt. Baskins for me."

"I will Leon." He smiled with entire face brightening before walking away.
