And here's the second of two chapters recovered from the long lost file. This chapter will eventually fit in around Chapter 16 or so, but I'm leaving it out here so you can read it more easily before I move it into its assigned spot.
Joe's Note: While the last chapter was mostly focused on closing up plot holes and the like, this one is a bit more naughty fun and dedicated to advancing Cordelia and Hiskari's aspirations for a fuller bed. If you're at all curious, Sheltay Retrac is actually a canon character who's briefly visible in Revenge of the Sith, wearing a design that was originally created for Padmé before being shuffled off to the Alderaanian delegation because it didn't work with the pregnant belly prosthetic. She's fleshed out further in the Clone Wars Adventures comics that Dark Horse ran in conjunction with the animated Clone Wars - not to be confused with the CGI The Clone Wars series - in the mid-2000s. For those of you familiar with the larger EU, she's established as being the mother of Leia's aide-de-camp Winter in Star Wars Chronicles, although it makes me wonder what her husband looked like if he could come together with a dark-haired and tanned-skin woman to put out a white-haired girl who served as Leia's double on occasion…

"So does this count as a politician for our to-do list or are we still holding out for an actual senator on that one?"
"Eh, she's an aide. Senior senatorial aide, but still an aide. It's a degree of separation closer than we've gotten in the past but I'm holding out for the real thing." Peering across the naked body in between them, Cordelia smirked faintly as she rubbed her hand over her new paramour's bare stomach. "Did we have 'pregnant woman' on our list anywhere? I feel like it's not a partialism that either of us have, but we've put together such an extensive list that I don't even know anymore."
Hiskari pondered that for a moment, looking from Cordelia's face to where her hand rested and back a few times. "I… don't think so. I'll have to pull it up on my datapad later and check. Although she doesn't really look pregnant. So even if it's on the list, there's pregnant and then there's like… pregnant. Do we count this one?"
Their words finally sank in enough to pull their companion out of her mortified silence, Sheltay Retrac looking back and forth between the two of them with wide eyes. "I'm not… I didn't… I'm pregnant? Are you sure?"
"Honey, Jedi are the galaxy's best pregnancy test because we can literally touch the life forming inside you with the Force. Believe me, you're pregnant." Cordelia gave Sheltay's stomach a gentle pat before reaching up to cup the young woman's face, pulling the unresisting brunette in for a soft kiss. "So I don't know what last night was to you, but if you have a boyfriend or fiancé or husband at home… you probably want to go back to him and work stuff out. You're about to have a whole new adventure together."
Reaching down, Sheltay snagged the sheets with one hand and pulled them up enough to cover her bare body, leaving a bemused Cordelia and Hiskari nearly bare on either side of her. "Last night was me having a few too many drinks with someone a bit too persuasive for her own good, is what it was. I've never done anything like this before, especially with a woman. I have a husband. Sure, he doesn't always come back from the Castle Lands when I manage to make it back to Alderaan for a visit, but I've never even thought about cheating on him."
Cordelia let out a faint snort as she ran her thumb over Sheltay's cheekbone, chuckling softly as the woman leaned into her touch before blushing and pulling away. "Well, you more than thought about it last night. And you were a very active and eager participant, too. Definitely made me and Hiskari's visit to Aldera proper worth it. Ten out of ten, would recommend to friends coming to the area."
"No! No recommending me or talking about this with people or even thinking about it." Taking the sheet with her, Sheltay climbed out of the spacious bed that they'd managed to fall into the previous night and began looking around for her clothes. "Wait. Why do I remember something about images being taken last night?"
Scooting toward Cordelia on the bed, Hiskari snuggled in against her girlfriend before looking lazily over at Sheltay and raising her hand. "That would be me. It's… Cordelia, is it a kink or a fetish? I still can't keep the two of those straight with any degree of regularity."
Rolling her eyes because they'd actually had an abbreviated version of this conversation the night before, Cordelia scooted up the bed a bit so that she could sit up with her back against the headboard. "There's partialism, kinks, and fetishes. Partialism is when you fixate on certain body parts of your partner's and objectify them. Fetishes are specific objects or acts that you absolutely need for a sexual encounter to be fulfilling to you. And kinks are basically alternative sexual interests that are almost anything that goes beyond basic missionary sex, but you don't necessarily need them to get off. I have a kink for being spanked, for instance; I definitely enjoy you beating my ass but I can still get off without it. Therefore, your penchant for taking dirty photos of me - and evidently our partners - would be considered…"
"A kink! Because I can definitely get off without it, it's just a lot of fun and turns me on." Hiskari waved her hand back and forth uncertainly before making a pulling motion and summoning a small metal disc to her hand. Twirling it between her fingers, she grinned up at Cordelia. "Good call on upgrading from the SoroSuub Imagecaster to the Soronsian Holox mark Null. I get much better image quality with this thing and it can hold over twelve hundred looping images if I keep them to fifteen seconds or less."
Sheltay's eyes bugged out as she stared at Hiskari's holoprojector, almost dropping the sheet before regathering her wits and clutching it to her chest even more tightly. "You have images of Cordelia and me… doing… you need to delete that! Immediately! Do you know what would happen to my career if those got out?"
Reaching up to tap her finger against her chin, Cordelia considered that. "Considering that I'm becoming more and more popular with each passing day… you might get promoted? Alderaanian direct envoy to the Jedi Order or something like that?"
"My marriage would be ruined!"
"Can't be much of a marriage if you're sleeping with random cute girls that you meet at bars."
"You can't have much of a relationship if you're picking up random girls at bars."
Cordelia let out an affronted huff as she wrapped one arm around Hiskari, resting her hand on her girlfriend's shoulder as the Nautolan snuggled in closer to her. "Hey now. Our relationship is very happy and healthy. Enough so that we're willing to share our affection with outsiders. Don't try and tear us down because you're having regrets after the fact about something that you willingly did."
Taking a deep breath, Sheltay closed her eyes and held her breath for a moment before letting it out slowly. She opened her eyes, looking a bit calmer and more composed. "I'm sorry, that was rude of me. I do love my husband very much but I'll admit that it isn't the most functional relationship. We're both very devoted to our respective careers and so especially with my assignment to Coruscant, we don't get a lot of time to be together. I never thought I'd fool around behind his back… but evidently between your words and a few drinks, I decided to change my mind."
"That you did. And it was very pleasant for at least two of us, so even if you're now convinced that last night was a terrible mistake… thanks for an enjoyable evening?" Cordelia let out a burble of laughter as Sheltay flushed darkly at the praise, stretching her arms over her head languidly before letting one drop back to rest on Hiskari's shoulders as she looked around the room curiously. "Where did we end up? Because I was no slouch with my hotel bookings but this definitely isn't our room."
Before Sheltay could respond, there was a heavy knock on the door followed by a voice that tickled at Cordelia's memories. "Sheltay? Are you awake? Normally you're downstairs by now and I'd really like your opinion on this policy piece that I'll be presenting to the rest of the Loyalist Committee to bring before Palpatine…"
Paling, Sheltay looked down at her barely-covered form before realizing that hogging the sheets just meant there were two completely naked people in her room. Scampering over to where Cordelia and Hiskari were sitting, she threw herself onto the bed and hastily arranged the sheets to cover all three of them. "That's Senator Organa! What am I supposed to do now?"
"We have a decent rapport. Let me handle this." Ignoring Sheltay's protestations, Cordelia slid out of bed and snagged the Alderaanian's white maxi dress off the floor with the Force. Tugging it over her head, she smoothed it down her body and ran her fingers through her hair a few times before making her way over to open the door. "Senator Organa! Pleasure to see you, as always. I'm afraid that Sheltay is… indisposed at the moment."
Bail Organa stared back at Cordelia with wide eyes and a slack jaw for several seconds before gathering himself and pasting on a decidedly insincere looking smile. "Jedi Chase. I was unaware that you were on Alderaan at the moment. Or… in my wife's palace, for that matter."
That revelation made Cordelia's eyes widen as she poked her head out the door, looking back and forth in wonder. "Get out, I'm in the Royal Palace? This is the best one-night stand ever." Composing herself, Cordelia straightened back up and cleared her throat. "I mean… actually, I have no idea what to say. I didn't know that Sheltay brought us back here with her last night. We're supposed to be staying in a hotel halfway across the city from here, if I remember my geography right."
"We? I assume that means that Jedi Dorset is with you as well?" Cordelia nodded and Bail opened his mouth to respond before evidently thinking better of whatever he was about to say. Opening and closing his mouth several times, he finally managed to settle on an appropriate response. "I see. And when do you think the head of my senatorial support staff will be available to me again?"
Raising a brow, Cordelia gestured to herself. "I think you mean Alderaan's direct envoy to the Jedi Order. Sheltay has been engaged in some… aggressive, passionate negotiations on your behalf for the better part of the evening and morning."
The corner of Bail's mouth quirked upward at that. "Alderaan has always had a very cordial relationship with the Jedi Order, or at least I would like to believe that we do."
Cordelia shrugged. "Sheltay saw an opportunity to make that relationship warmer."
"I can see that." Bail finally sighed and shook his head in resignation. "Very well. I guess I'll be wrangling my aides without her help this morning. If I could have her back by this afternoon, I would greatly appreciate it. Give her my regards."
Turning her head to the side, Cordelia's eyes never left Bail's face as she raised her voice. "Hey! Sheltay! Your boss says hello!"
After a few seconds of mortified silene, a significantly quieter voie responded. "I heard. Hello, Senator."
Before Bail could escape, Cordelia turned back to him and tapped his chest. "Also, what's Alderaan's policy on maternity leave? Because if you don't have a Family and Medical Leave Act, we're going to have to engage in some aggressive negotiations of our own to ensure that my new favorite envoy has an appropriately caring and supportive work environment."
That finally caused Bail's composure to crack. "I… you got my senior aide pregnant?"
"I don't know what rumors you've heard about me but that's a little bit beyond my abilities. For now, at least." Cordelia cocked her head to the side as she pondered that. Her eggs had half of the necessary genetic material and she still had a few left after letting the Kaminoans harvest a considerable portion of hers. How hard would it be to use the Force to insert one into another woman and fuse it with her egg to form a viable zygote? Shaking her head to clear it of her mad scientist thoughts, Cordelia made a lewd gesture with her hands. "No, her and her husband did it the old-fashioned way. You do know how that works, right? I don't need to explain it?"
Visibly flustered, Bail wrung his hands as he shifted back and forth uncomfortably. "I'm quite familiar with the basics of reproduction, thank you very much. I just wasn't aware that…" Leaning forward, he raised his voice. "Congratulations, Sheltay!"
Again there was a long - dare she say pregnant - pause before Sheltay's significantly quieter voice responded. "…thank you, Senator."
Reaching out, Cordelia patted Bail on the shoulder. "I have an idea. How about you call down to the kitchens and have them send up a bottle of champagne so that we can celebrate the good news?"
"No! No more drinking!" That response was considerably louder and Cordelia glanced back over her shoulder to find Sheltay peeking around the corner, wearing the purple dress that Cordelia had worn the night before and… not looking half bad in it, to be honest. "That's what got me into this mess in the first place!"
Utterly without shame - after all, they were luminous beings, not this crude matter - Hiskari poked her own head out from around Sheltay, still wearing nothing more than the sheet off the bed. "I could go for a… is a daycap a thing? A morningcap?"
Cordelia thought for a moment before remembering what her mother used to drink when she was in a mood. "Mimosas are a thing! Bail, can you bring us three glasses of champagne mixed with some kind of citrus juice?"
"No! More! Drinking!" Stumbling forward, Sheltay inserted herself between Cordelia and Bail, pushing the Jedi back a few steps as she shot an apologetic look back at her employer. "I have one or two matters to wrap up with these two and then I'll be right down to help you with that proposal."
"If it's anything like you handled our matters last night, you might want to expect her sometime in the afternoon."
"By the Force, would you please shut up?!"
