A/N- I am back. It has been a busy few weeks but now I am back and hopefully will have some more chapters out soon after this one so, here is a new chapter. ENJOY!

Astrid's Pov:

Once Valka and I had arrived back to Gothi's house, Stoick and Spitelout were just placing the visitors on the makeshift beds that were made upon the ground as Thalia was sleeping on the only bed in the house.

Once they were placed on the makeshift bed. Spitelout then walked straight out of the house. I don't think he is happy that Hiccup is back as the heir, but I didn't think much more of it.

I then turned to Stoick and asked, "Stoick do you need me to move Thalia? She is fine sleeping in my arms."

"It is probably best to have the girl on the bed. That is if you don't mind Astrid." Stoick said picking up the girl once again

"I don't mind at all," I said as I walked towards Thalia and gently picked her up trying not to disturb her,

which kinda failed as she slightly woke up from her sleep. "Ast… Astri… Astrid." She mumbled. "Shh. It is alright Honey. Go back to sleep." I said to her. I then moved away from the bed so Stoick could put the girl on it.

Valka helped me wrap Thalia up in a blanket as she went back to sleep, I then moved to sit in a chair as I rocked Thalia. "Your so good with her," Valka told me. "I don't know how as I have no idea what I am actually doing," I stated.

"Astrid it is your instincts. You saw a little girl who means so much to someone you love, and you saw that she needed a Mother, so your instincts just kicked in." Valka explained.

I smiled as I looked down at the sleeping child in my arms. "Thanks, Valka," I said. Valka left to go and write a letter to Hiccup. While I sat there with Thalia asleep in my arms watching Gothi check over our visitors.

"Right I have sent a letter to Hiccup which he should get in a few hours," Valka said coming back into the room to stand beside Stoick. "When will they wake up Gothi?" Valka asked.

Gothi walked over to where some sand was so she could draw with her stick. "She says I don't know when they will wake up. They seem to be in rough shape." Someone said

Valka, Stoick and I looked up to see who spoke and saw it was Gobber. I did not even hear come in. And by my guess that Stoick or Valka didn't hear him come in either. "Okay. Well, let's hope that they wake up by the time Hiccup gets here." Stoick stated.

"I am going to take Thalia home, so it is easier for her to rest," I said to Stoick and Valka as I stood up carefully to not to wake Thalia. "Alright, Dear. I will send Hiccup around straight away once he is back." Valka said. "Thanks, Valka," I said then walked out of the house.

It was 10 minutes later when I reached my house and saw my Mother walking towards me. "Astrid, you've decided to come home have you?" My mother asked me.

When I turned around to face her, she stopped in her step and looked down at Thalia asleep in my arms. "Astrid what are you doing with Thalia? Shouldn't she be still at Gothi's?" She asked.

"Um, Gothi needed Thali's bed so Valka asked if I could take Thali till Hiccup gets back," I explained. "When is Hiccup going to back do you know? Mum asked.

"Valka sent him a letter not to long ago. Letting him know about the Visitors and telling him to come home. So, I am not sure where he will be home." I told her.

"Well, why don't we go in and get some lunch then," Mum said. I nodded and followed her into the house. Mum walked to the kitchen while I went upstairs and placed Thali in my room. Then went back downstairs to help mum with lunch.

Once lunch was ready, I went upstairs to wake Thali up as she needs to try and eat something. "Thali comes Honey; it is time to wake up for some lunch," I said as I gently shake her to wake her up.

"Astrid." She said with a raspy voice. "Come on Honey. You need to wake up so you can try and eat something." I said to her. "I'm not hungry." She said.

"I know Honey. But you need to keep your strength up and that is by trying to eat something okay." I said. She nodded her head and she tried to sit up because she hasn't eaten hardly anything in a couple of days, she is starting to get weak.

I had to help her to sit up then up on to her feet, so it was easier for me to pick her up. I then took her downstairs to the table and sat down on the chair with her on my lap.

Mum passed me a plate of food and a small bowl of liquid food for Thalia. While Thali's food was cooling down, I ate my lunch and when her lunch was cool enough, I helped with her food.

Thali had only eaten at least 4 spoonsful of her food when once again she pushed my hand away when I was about to feed her another spoonful. "No more." She said.

"Thali you need to at least try to eat more. 4 spoons are not enough," I told her. "Please no more." She begged. "Alright, but can you try to have 2 more spoonsful for me then you don't have to eat anymore if you don't want to," I said. She nods her head to agree and ate 2 more spoonful's.

I let Thali cuddle into me at the table when I went to feel her head to see how warm it was. That was when I realised that she was getting hotter. "Mum can you get me a cold cloth, please. She is getting hotter." I asked my mum.

Mum got up from the table and went to get the cloth for me. When she came back, she passed me the cloth and I placed it on Thali's forehead to see if it will bring her temperature down a bit.

"Astrid you might want to move to the couch where it is a bit more comfortable for you to sit on and for her to sleep on," Mum said as Thali's eyes were closing again.

"I guess you are right Mum. Once she beats this illness, she is not going to want to sleep for a while since all she had been doing is sleeping." I said. "Hiccup is going to have fun with that isn't he," Mum stated.

"Yea it is going be so much fun for the both of us," I said sarcastically. Then gathered Thali in my arms and moved to the couch that was in front of the fire.

Heather's Pov:

It's two days since Dagur convinced me that we should stay on the island of the Defenders of the Wing. But now we really must be getting back to Berk, as Berk's healers need the recipe to these healing herbs their healer has given me.

"Dagur we really need to get going. We have stayed long enough. Gothi Berk's healer needs this recipe." I told my brother. "Okay, okay fine we can get ready to leave. No need to stress out Sister of mine." Dagur replied with.

"I am not stressing brother it is just that the longer we are then the longer Thalia is getting sicker," I said. "Your sister is right Dagur. As much I would love for you to stay but Thalia does need these healing herbs that our healer has given you." Mala said as she back me up

"Fine. Let's saddle up then get going then." My brother said as he went off pouting due to that we could not stay for longer.

It was 5 minutes that we were finally ready to take off. "Have a safe flight back to Berk my love," Mala said to Dagur as he mounted up onto his dragon. Once they were finished Dagur and I took off waving goodbye to everyone then we headed back to Berk which is going to take 3 days.

Hiccup's Pov:

It has been a couple of days since we have started to look for Ingrid and Bjorn and still nothing. The search team has been everywhere that we can think off. I am starting to run out of places to look and starting to doubt that they are even still alive.

"Don't worry Hiccup. We will find them." Toothless said to me obviously feeling my distress about all of this. "I am not sure anymore Bud. We have looked everywhere, and they are nowhere to be found." I said to him.

"I am sure they are fine and wherever they are let's hope that they are together," Toothless said. "Let's hope bud," I said to him in Norse.

It was another 10 minutes when Toothless and I had landed back at the Clubhouse at the Edge. I took one look at Eret and saw when he shook his head. I knew that no one still has not found them.

"Damn it." I yelled as I threw the map off the table when my mother's Terrible Terror landed in front of me with a letter tied to its leg. I untied the letter and it then took off again, not waiting around for a reply.

I opened the letter and it said.

Hiccup,

I know you are busy out looking for Bjorn and Ingrid. But I wanted to tell you that you do not have to look for them anymore. They both landed here on Berk this afternoon and were in a bad condition and so were their dragons.

They are at Gothi's house, they have not said anything yet due to them being out to it. Come home, Son. Thali needs her Father and so does Astrid.

"Eret get in here!" I yelled. "Yes, Chief," Eret said as he walked into the Clubhouse. "Stop all searches for Ingrid and Bjorn. I have just heard from Mother and they both landed on Berk in a bad way." I said to him.

Eret nodded then said, "Of course Chief. And that is good news that they are okay. I am guessing you will be going back to Berk then?" He asked me.

"Yes, I will be going back to Berk. But I will leave in the morning as Toothless and I need a good night sleep before we can fly again." I said. I will go and send out letters to the search team and tell them to return at once." Eret said then left the Clubhouse.

I then walked to my house where Toothless had gone too after we had landed. I then got a few things that I had come for and then I went to my room to get a good night sleep before I fly home.
