It had been weeks since I woke up from my coma state. Things were coming along well with the rebuilding of Erebor. I spent time with Ori in the Library putting books back on shelves and enjoying sharing long lost legends with Ori, who wrote them down. Thorin had Fili busy helping with rebuilding now that I was awake and our night were spent curled up by the fire with our friends talking and sitting in my room talking and sharing kisses late into the night
"They are here!" Fili said, running into the library as I sat on the floor trying to organize some books. I look up as Ori came out from behind the shelf.
"Whose here?" I ask as Fili came up to me. He pulled me to my feet.
"The dwarves from the Blue Mountains. They were spotted outside of Dale." Fili said. I smile.
"Let's go." I said. Fili and I ran towards the gates with Ori right behind us. Thorin and Kili were already there with the Company. Fili and I came up to Thorin's side. I stood next to Fili, who wrapped an arm around me. I looked up at his face and he looked at me. We smile at each other. The dwarves were coming.
"Dad!" A young boys yelled in dwarvish, running and tackled Gloin to the ground. I smiled. Gloin had been talking about his son for weeks and I had a feeling it was Gimli.
"Mother!" Kili called. Fili and Kili ran towards a dwarrow, who was walking in the front of the group of dwarves.
"Oh my boys." Dis said. I hung back as Thorin went to greet his sister. "You kept them safe."
"Well we almost lost Fili, but Laila saved him." Kili said.
"Laila?" Dis said. I came forward and Fili grabbed my hand.
"I'm Laila, my lady." I said.
"Mom. This is my one. She saved me from deaths doors and she's a daughter of Valar." Fili said. Dis saw my courting braid in my hair. She grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. I was shocked, but returned the hug.
"Thank you for saving my boy and welcome to the family." Dis said. I saw Fili smiling over his mom's shoulder.
"Your welcome." I said.
That night. Everyone gathered in the throne room. Fili and I walked arm in arm together down the bridge behind Thorin with Kili behind us. I was in a durin blue dress which Dis said looked good on me. Everyone was there. Thranduil, Legolas, and Tauriel along with Bard and his children. Dain stood with his soldiers. Thorin approached Gandalf who stood waiting by the throne. Fili and I came to his left and Kili to his right. We watched as Gandalf lifts the crown and puts it on Thorin's head.
"Now Erebor has a King Under the Mountain. May we count the days of the King. May they be blessed." Gandalf said. I smile as cheers rang through the dwarves. Thorin smiles as he stands. He turns and we follow. I saw my brothers smiling as they stood near the back as the Company stood in front. Bilbo stood among them. He would be leaving soon to go back to the Shire.
The party was held in the Great hall. I stood with Dis and Dana, Gloin's wife, talking as the men passed out ale. Fili had disappeared with Kili to get the mugs.
"Wonder if there will be a wedding soon after this." Dis said. I turn red.
"We just started courting." I said.
"I'm sure in the seen future there will be." Dana said. I turn redder. Dana and Dis chuckle.
"Would be the first wedding since Smaug took the mountain." Dis said.
'Valar.' I thought, as Fili came over and passed me a mug.
"Everything okay?" Fili asked.
"Fine." I said. Fili raised an eyebrow as music began and Fili pulled me away for a dance. "Yer mom is already talking about marriage for us." I whisper. Fili chuckled.
"Not surprised. If and when it happens, she'll be asking for grandchilden next." Fili said. I blush as Fili pulled me into a dance. "I'm in no rush yet, Princess."
"Neither am I." I said. Fili pressed a kiss to my forehead as we enjoyed a dance. Fili pulled me clsoe as we dance. It was a beautiful party and now the dwarves were in Erebor. Life can now go on in peace.
