Clothes Over Bros
Brooke was taking her lunch hour to go over her To Do list for the wedding and had yet to figure out whether she was making her own dress or buying it. She didn't want just another off the rack dress that people would talk about but she didn't have the energy or time to make her own or think about a design. Between that and the news of her upcoming wedding going public. Thanks to a recent interview she did. Her, Lucas, their children. Were being targetted by camera people in need of details being leaked or snapping pictures to confirm anything about the day. It was all causing her to stress out and snap at everyone.
Running Away and eloping somewhere had crossed her mind. But Brooke knew she would regret it the minute it happened. Years of time and work is the reason they got to this point. Their wedding was to be a celebration of that. And she standing still. Ready to show the world how much they loved each other.

The coffee shop was almost full with the morning crowd of diners.
Lucas had just gotten a 2nd cinnamon roll and a 2nd refill of coffee. When his mother walked through the door.
Smiling up at him. Karen Roe walked over to the table. And sat down in the chair across from him.
"I'm so glad you called. Thank you for agreeing to meet." She said.
At the sight of a large blueberry muffin and large mug of coffee. Karen focused her gaze on her son.
"I just need to know why now.? The urgency to reconnect be in my life with Brooke and the family we have. What's pushing you all of a sudden.?" Lucas questioned.
Karen grabbed her coffee mug tightly. Took a long sip then locked eyes with her son.
"It started off small. Three or four months ago. I thought it was just my age beginning to catch up with me. My memory getting clouded over. Forgetting minor things then appointments to scheduled events. I went to the doctor and got checked out." Karen sighed deeply.
"I was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer disease." Karen confessed.
Lucas felt his heart drop.

The Scott Home
"The no dating until you're 16 rule stands for all three of you." Brooke clarified.
"Which means Camden can come to the wedding as you're friend but nothing more." Lucas said.
"There is a birthday coming up. My babies are turning 15. I still can't believe it." Brooke said.
"Feel free to invite anyone you want to that." Lucas said.
As the family continued their family dinner.

The McFadden Household
Bailey pushed away the envelope containing the invitation to the Scott family upcoming birthday celebration that Tristan had slipped into her locker only days ago.
She had already bought and wrapped his gift. And picked out an outfit to wear. Yet she knew she wasn't going to go. Why would she. How could she still care about him after his complete rejection. And discard for her feelings. She wanted to hate him. But she couldn't. She cared about him too much.
