It was a typical day in the life of Bimbette Skunk. Breakfast, morning sunbathe, visit the salon, and now she was out on the town. She especially liked coming to the woods nearby. It was good to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy some quiet time with nature. The fresh air, the wild animals, the babbling brooks, the dog running up to her with a piece of paper...

The dog running up to her with a piece of paper?

Indeed, to Bimbette's surprise, a short, female dog seemed to be running right at her, flailing her arms about as if to get her attention. Bimbette could see that, clutched in one of her hands, was a piece of paper. Bimbette stopped, confused as to what this strange canine could possibly want with her. Soon enough, the dog had come to a stop in front of her.

"Excuse me for interrupting your day, madam." The dog said. "I am simply here to deliver a message to you."

Bimbette cocked her head at this. "A message?" She asked. "From who?"

The female dog turned around and pointed behind herself. Bimbette followed where she was pointing, and saw another dog walking along a path not far from where they were standing. Bimbette studied the canine that the one in front of her was pointing to.

In appearance, this new dog looked strikingly similar to the one standing before her this very moment. Short, with stubby legs. Grey fur, except on his long muzzle and large belly. Little red nose and long, black ears. That said, she could still tell that this dog was a male.

She stared at him for a few seconds, before returning her gaze to the female. "Him?" She asked skeptically, pointing to the male?

The female nodded. "Why, yes." She said, nodding her head with a grin on her face. "He asked me to pass on this message to you." She held out the piece of paper she had been holding to Bimbette.

Taking it, Bimbette held it up to her face, and began to read. As she did, her expression changed. Her eyes widened, her face went from skepticism to awe, and her heart melted. She'd never read such a love note in her life. It was so passionate, so emotional. Every word she read made her see the dog in a whole new light.

After finishing the note, she looked back up at the dog in the distance. As she watched him walk along, she began to rethink her opinion of him. Sure, he wasn't the most handsome guy around. However, if he was able to express himself in this way, then there was clearly more to him than Bimbette initially believed.

Her heart began to lift, a smile grew on her face, and hearts appeared in her eyes. She now knew she wanted him, more than any other man in the world. With all other thoughts banished from her mind, Bimbette leaped up, and made a mad dash straight for Newt.
