Future / timeskip Alice and Ryo. Spoiler warning for manga ending! Alice does something to Ryo's phone...

Ryo woke up that day, woken up by the alarm on his phone. There were a couple of strands of white hair on his face. He brushed them away, turning to his side, where Alice slept. She was spread out over more than half of his bed, backing him into one corner. Her long white hair was everywhere, and the fact made Ryo think that keeping his hair shorter these days was a great decision. It was just much less trouble.

"...Miss. I'm going to get up," He told her, a soft whisper.

Alice seemed to hear him as she stirred, but instead of making way for him to move, she instead turned towards him and put her arms over his waist. She had never been a morning person. Somedays it was a struggle just to wake her up for morning meetings.

Ryo reached out to stroke her hair, pushing away the long strands all over Alice's face. She showed no signs of budging. So instead, he reached out for the phone on his bedside pillow, deciding to see what everyone was up to for a while.

Alice was posting about progress in the lab, as well as some photos of her having tea in the garden (which Ryo actually took). It was her who insisted he open some sort of social media account, so he could at least see what everyone else was up to. Ryo only checked it when he had downtime.

Takumi Aldini was posting about yesterday's special in Trattoria Aldini. Hayama posted a photo of Jun Shiomi, passed out and asleep on the Shiomi Seminar couch. Jun commented some very angry emojis.

Tadakoro had photos of a table tennis match she had. Isshiki had a selfie with Kinokuni, who was helping out with him opening his branch restaurant in Kyoto. Kuga Terunori had selfies in Shanghai.

Ryo himself had nothing much to post, not really a fan of photographing stuff going on in his life. He kept on formally working as Alice's aide--despite the fact that they were actually, already dating sometime ago. He kept working on improving his cooking, and managed to acquire his degree in Marine Biology was well just recently. Getting that degree while working as Alice's aide was hell, but Alice had been gracious, and gave him lots of time off. She could surprisingly look out well enough for herself even without him. Ryo hated to admit it, though.

Alice studied molecular gastronomy further, and then was appointed as site manager when Nakiri International opened its branch in Japan. She was so busy with managerial duties and lab experiments, the truth was she hardly had time to go to a kitchen to cook. It has even been a while since their last food battle.

She was still asleep like a baby, clinging to him. Ryo decided to take a picture of her like that--fast asleep, hair splayed all over his bed, looking like an absolute angel.

When the shutter sound went off, Alice stirred.

"Ryo...? What are you doing? I thought I heard a camera go off."

"Nothing," Ryo said, but Alice saw him holding onto his phone, and quickly connected the dots.

"Don't post that, Ryo! I must've looked silly! And I'm indecent! Everyone's gonna figure out what we've been up to!"

True enough, she was naked underneath his blankets. "I'm sure they were already thinking it long ago, miss." Ryo said. If they said something absurd like they had been engaged and married all along since childhood, all of their highschool friends would eat that up. Hayama would even say, "I knew it the moment we met!"

Alice got up, nabbing Ryo's phone to look at the shot. "My hair's a mess! I have pillow streaks on my face! And you can't even see my cleavage." She was pouting now, but then quickly brushed her hair with her fingers, trying to put some sort of order into them. "Take it again!" she demanded, laying back down on his bed and strategically arranging her hair and his bedsheet over her body. She closed her eyes, as if pretending to be asleep. "Make sure I look hot, ok?!"

"You alwas look hot, Alice," Ryo said, taking the photo as instructed. "I think this is good."

Alice sat up, reviewing the shot and nodding. She made a few taps, and gave the phone back to Ryo. "I'm going to sleep some more," she turned back to the bed, yawning. "Get me some coffee on the way back, Ryo."

"Of course," he said, finally getting up as Alice made some space for him to move. He still did his morning run to the fish market daily. It was a ritual he wasn't willing to break.

After he got dressed and was putting on his shoes, he noticed his phone had been buzzing nonstop. He finally picked it up, and saw a bunch of notifications from a social media app.

Tapping on it, he realized that Alice had posted her half-naked-in-bed photo to his account. She even put in some heart emojis as the caption.

"ALICE?! What did you--" Ryo was shocked. His account had nothing but photos of food and nature shots from his fishing trips. And all of a sudden... A photo of Alice laying naked on his bed, looking flushed and seductive.

Alice giggled in bed. "What? You said they were already thinking it long ago."

Ryo's phone kept buzzing, the photo getting bombarded by likes. And then, the comments.

Hayama said: "...she hacked you, didn't she. Also just admit that you two are dating already, dammit."

From Kuga Terunori: "Yo!Congrats! :eye-emoji:"

From Erina: "@alice.nakiri.in.wonderland YOU'RE SO SHAMELESS! @kurokiba.ryo DELETE THIS RIGHT NOW!"

From Satoshi Isshiki: "Don't forget to invite us to the wedding!"

And then a notification came that made Ryo pale. "Oh, shit."

"Huh? What's wrong?" Alice asked.

"...Your mom liked the photo."

"No, shit!" Alice scrambled out of bed, suddenly feeling awake from the shock. "Quick!! Delete it before dad sees!!"

Meanwhile, in Denmark...

"Oooh, Nassan! Ryo posted such a cute photograph," Leonora said, smiling down on her phone. She tapped on said photo, giving it a heart.

Nakiri Soe was beside her, watching the evening news while drinking tea. "What is it, sweetie?"

Leonora was typing in a comment, a simple, "Cute!" with a little heart. As she hit 'Enter' there seemed to be a problem, as she could not send her comment.

Leonora pouted, and refreshed the page. The photo was gone now.

"What was it?" Soe asked, peering over Leonora's shoulder to her phone.

"Hmmmmm, it seems to be gone now for sone reason," Leonora said. "It was a cute photo of our Alice, that's all. It's such a shame you didn't see it!"
