"Some sort of super serum? Fool! My own creations are superior. And without your tentacles, you can't beat me." Yanagisawa snarled.
"Let's test that theory." John retorted. The two charged at each other. John quickly attacked with a kick, sending Yanagisawa to the wall. The mad scientist quickly dodged as John punched the wall where he was. He punched the bounty hunter, sending him flying across the room. John grabbed him and countered with a knee to the stomach. He grabbed Yanagisawa by the face and slammed him into the floor.
"Not done yet you Son of a B*tch!" John said as he dragged him across the floor. He tossed him up and landed another punch on his face, sending the scientist across the room. Yanagisawa got up and charged, John matching him. They traded punches before Yanagisawa slammed a fist into John's stomach. John coughed before Yanagisawa grabbed him and punched him again.
"You think you can defeat me?!" Yanagisawa slammed him against the wall and punched him again. John quickly put up his arms and blocked the following barrage of attacks. He kicked out with his foot, hitting Yanagisawa in the stomach. John ran around him as he flew through the air and spin-kicked him, making a small crack. Yanagisawa cried out in pain as he slammed into the wall. He got up and glared back at John.
"How?! How are you doing this?!" he snarled. John sneered back at the mad scientist.
"Minami Okuda. The best chemist in the Assassination Classroom. She made me a super serum. And unlike the comics, this one worked." John boasted. Yanagisawa growled.
"Do you think a child can defeat me in the field of science? I am the greatest mind the world has ever known. That, b*tch, can't defeat me!" he screamed as he flew towards John. John reared back and threw a massive haymaker, sending Yanagisawa spinning through the air past him.
"Idiot. This serum gave me a tenfold boost." John said. Yanagisawa stood up.
"I'm the idiot? You don't realize what's happening." Yanagisawa stood up and spread his arms. The bruises on his body were fading.
"You have a healing factor? So do I." John said as he held up his arm. It had some bruises, but they were fading slightly.
"But it's much inferior to mine."
"Then it's a spear versus shield. My higher power versus your healing. Can you keep up?" John said tauntingly. Yanagisawa growled.
"You arrogant fool!" he charged at him. John quickly struck with another kick, sending him against the wall.
"The serum gave me a five times boost! You can't keep up with me!" he said as he continued to punch him over and over again. Yanagisawa grabbed his hands, only to get kneed in the chest. John grabbed Yanagisawa by the arms and repeatedly kicked him over and over again. Yanagisawa slammed onto the ground when John used another kick to flip back. John landed in a crouch, and slowly stood up.
"Just so you know, the tentacles increased my killing desire. I'm more willing to kill than the other members of the Hunter Classroom. When I said that I was going to kill you, I meant it." John said.
"Bastard..." Yanagisawa growled.
"And just in case, I have another serum in here." John said, patting his pocket. "Do yourself a favor, and just give up now." Yanagisawa slowly got to his feet.
"You bastard! I'll kill you! You think that you're better than me! How dare you get in my way! How dare you make me act like a common thug!" he screeched suddenly. He charged at John, tackling him and trying to push him to the wall. John raised both hands and slammed them down onto Yanagisawa.
"Let's speed things up, shall we?" John said. He grabbed Yanagisawa by the coat and tossed him up high into the air. John crouched down before leaping after him. He continuously kicked him higher and higher into the ceiling before breaking through it. Yanagisawa dropped onto the roof next to the hole. John leapt up and landed next to him. He grabbed Yanagisawa by the collar of his shirt and threw him into the air again.
"This is it!" he said. He jumped into the air past Yanagisawa and drop-kicked him into the ground. Yanagisawa screamed as he broke through the ceiling and onto the ground. He got up slowly as his bones made crackling noises as they repaired themselves.
"That bastard." Yanagisawa growled as he pushed himself up. He grunted in pain as bullets suddenly tore into his body. He glared down at Rinka, who held her smoking pistol at the ready. Terasaka took out a shotgun and fired it. The force of the pellets slammed into Yanagisawa's chest and sent him flying back through the air. He gritted his teeth from the pain, before getting slammed into the ground from another dropkick by John, creating a massive cloud of dust. John flipped out from the dust cloud and landed near the hole where Rinka and Terasaka were climbing out. The three stood at the ready.
"You guys should try to find our teammates. Yanagisawa isn't going to slow down anytime soon." he warned the two.
"Too late." Yanagisawa said as the cloud cleared. Rinka and Terasaka's eyes widened. He was holding a syringe in his hand. The same one they saw John inject himself with. Yanagisawa cackled as his muscles bulged. He became taller, and veins popped out.
"Time to die, children." he said softly. Rinka quickly held up her rifle and fired it at Yanagisawa. The man scoffed as he caught the bullet.
"Do you really think that would work?" he taunted. He rolled the bullet around and shot it back like a marble. Rinka gasped as the bullet destroyed her rifle and passed through her side, sending her stumbling back. Terasaka charged forward, only to get swatted to the side. Yanagisawa held up a hand as John attempted a flying kick, stopping the attack and creating a large shockwave to send debris flying all over the place. Yanagisawa threw John to the floor, stomping on his ribs making the young adult groan in pain.
"Kudos to Minami Okuda. She did indeed make an excellent serum. Yes, yes! I can feel it! The raw power coursing through my veins! With such high strength, speed, and healing, I am unstoppable! I have become the ultimate life form!" Yanagisawa yelled triumphantly. "With my unmatched power, and my unmatched intellect, I will rule the world!"
"Not on my watch." Rinka said as she rolled onto her stomach. She took out her pistol and fired it towards Yanagisawa. He scoffed as he walked towards her. The bullets hit their marks, hitting him in the lungs, heart, throat, head, stomach, and leg. He simply kept walking as they immediately healed. Rinka reloaded her revolver and fired again. Terasaka got up and fired his shotgun as well. Neither guns did much at all.
John got up and tackled Yanagisawa. The two grappled with each other until Yanagisawa threw him against the wall. John got up and rushed to Yanagisawa, punching him with all his might. Yanagisawa was forced back, but stayed on his feet. John rushed him, launching a long flurry of attacks. As the attacks continued, Yanagisawa's body continued to shake for the force. John fell back, panting. Rinka reloaded her revolver as she watched. From the nape of John's neck, two tendrils slowly poked out.
"Well, at least I know that Rock and Creed are still sticking around." John said as he stood up. He charged towards Yanagisawa, Rock and Creed at the ready. He stabbed both tentacles towards the mad scientist. Yanagisawa caught them, but John continued charging, driving his knee into his stomach. Yanagisawa fell back as John continued kicking. Rinka took advantage of this and shot him. Yanagisawa roared as he pulled on the tentacles, spinning John in a circle and throwing him against the wall.
"Do you understand now?" he asked softly. Rinka fired her pistol as fast as she could. Yanagisawa winced slightly, but continued. "This is going to be the end of you all. I am unstoppable. What can you do? What are you compared to me?"
"Someone who's a little more observant than you." Rinka said. Yanagisawa stopped. John began to laugh. A small laugh at first, but one that increased in sound.
"Dude, look at your bullet wounds." he said. Yanagisawa stiffened. He looked at the holes in his body. Holes that were still healing. He was still healing, but slowly now.
"Wh-what? Why am I not healing as quickly as before? What did you do?!" he demanded.
"I didn't do anything. You're the one who did this to yourself." John sniggered. "I let you take the serum when I realized that you were healing too quickly for me to kill serum was made specifically for my tentacles. Specifically for me. Not for you. The human body wasn't made for antimatter to be in it. You should know that." Yanagisawa's eyes widened as he realized.
"The serum you had destabilized the antimatter! My body-"
"Is withering away. Even if you managed to kill us, you're still going to die. Even if you try to create an antidote, it's going to take too much time." John said.
"You're going to die. Whether you like it or not." Rinka said as she reloaded her pistol.
"But we're not so cruel as to let you rot away. I don't hate you that much. Oh wait, I do. But don't worry. We'll make sure you don't die such a miserable death. We'll escort you to the gates of hell ourselves." John said. He charged at Yanagisawa.
"I will not die at the hands of you!" the mad scientist screamed. He charged at John, but gasped in shock as Karma appeared out of nowhere, uppercutting him.
"Guess you forgot about us, huh?" the redhead grinned. Around the place, the rest of the Terasaka gang appeared. Kanzaki helped Rinka up into a proper sitting position.
"Just rest. We'll take care of this." she said.
"What about the rest of the group?" Rinka asked.
"Wrapping things up with the hunters down below. We kicked their butts, there's a big difference between assassins and bounty hunters after all." Kanzaki shrugged as she stood up. She pulled out twin SMGs as she walked forward.
"You all are nothing. Nothing! I am superior!" Yanagisawa yelled, glaring at them all.
"You're dead." John said as he charged forward. Yanagisawa grunted as he was kicked in the chest. Karma caught the mad scientist, wrapping his arms around his waist.
"This is going to hurt." he growled into his ear as he suplexed him. He spun and tossed Yanagisawa to Terasaka. Terasaka roared as he caught the mad scientist and slammed him in a piledriver. Yanagisawa tried to get up, only to get slammed into by both Yoshida and Muramatsu.
"Take this!" they yelled. They hurled him forward. John sped around and grabbed the flying Yanagisawa. He threw him onto the ground and kicked him. Kanzaki jumped onto the sliding scientist and fired her SMGs into his chest before jumping off. He collided with the wall, getting up as he tried to heal. He looked at his hand as he did. It was becoming grayer, skinnier. He growled.
"Look at me! Look at what I've become! If I die, you all are coming with me!" he screamed. He rushed at John, slamming him through the wall. Rock and Creed whipped out and impaled him, causing him to scream in pain. He slammed his feet onto the ground and carried them both into the air. John slammed his fists against Yanagisawa, forcing the mad scientist to let go. Rock and Creed flew towards him and impaled him again.
"GET OVER HERE!" John yelled as he pulled Yanagisawa to him. He spiked him down towards the ground. But before he landed, Yoshida and Muramatsu flew in and tackled the falling scientist back towards the building. As he bounced off the floor on his way, Kanzaki and Hazama both sprayed him with their guns, resulting in him starting to scream in pain. He was caught off by another heavy punch by Terasaka, causing the mad scientist to flip through the air before face planting on the floor. He got up and tried to attack them, only for Rinka to empty another six shots into his head and chest. Yanagisawa staggered and fell to a knee.
"I...will...kill you!" he screamed. John flew in and slammed a foot onto Yanagisawa's back.
"Don't think so. Time to put you to rest. Again." John taunted before he launched the gray man into the air.

John yelled as he launched a merciless barrage of punches. Yanagisawa flew up, higher and higher. John brought Rock and Creed to his hands, intertwining them.
"I've been wanting to try this for a while now. Why not now?" he grinned. From his hands, a bright light began to shine. A ball of energy was forming between them.
"Kaaaa, Meeee, Haaaa, Meeee...HAAAA!" John yelled as he pointed the energy ball at the falling scientist. Yanagisawa screamed in pain as the beam of energy consumed him.
"BBEERRTTRRANNNDDD!" he screamed as he dissolved from the intensity. The beam faded, traveling to space before dispersing.
"Wow. Killed him with a meme." Karma said.
"You know you're jealous." John said. Karma grumbled as he pouted to the side. Who didn't want to fire a Kamehameha?
"Is it over, hm?" Grip asked as he pulled himself out of a hole. He dragged a few bounty hunters with him out. Gastro and Red Eye also appeared, pulling their own bounty hunters out. Rinka grimaced at the sight of the dead bodies.
"I'm sorry if I sound whiny or such, but did you have to kill them?" she asked the assassins.
"Sorry kid. That's just how we do things." Grip shrugged.
"Looks like we can't pay you guys, sorry." Karma apologized to the assassins. Grip and Gastro waved it off.
"That's fine. We got ourselves a good fight, and it's not your fault that we're not getting paid." Grip said.
"Well I'm a little disappointed, but ain't mad." Red Eye shrugged. He grinned at the teenage hunters. "This was fun though. Don't hesitate to call me up when you need help."
"Sure." Karma nodded. The three assassins left as the police sirens were heard. Karma quickly led the other bounty hunters out of the area and through a nearby park. Luckily, it seemed to be empty, allowing them to run freely. He looked over his shoulder at John.
"Well, I guess that that was the end of that."
"Not yet. Apparently, there's a trap at the vault. We should go and check on the group there." John said. Karma frowned at this.
"Hm. We should hurry." Karma said. He looked forward and slammed into a tree. Rinka stopped next to the dazed redhead.
"And we should practice how to look where we're going."
-At the vault-
"Round two." Ryu grinned wickedly at Tetsunori. They charged forward at each other and met in the middle. Ryu grunted as he was sent flying into the table. Kayano quickly turned to Nagisa and helped him to the side. She looked at his wounds in horror.
"I'm sorry. This is all my fault." she said sadly.
"I made this choice. We would've come here anyways, since it would be the only way the MoD would agree to support us. Go grab your sister, it isn't safe for us to be here." Nagisa looked over to Aguri. She looked tired, and skinny. Her hair was much longer than he remembered. The biggest change, however, was the fact that she was in a wheelchair. She must've had some sort of spinal damage when she was hurt all those years ago. Kayano quickly ran towards her.
"I don't think so." Tetsunori said as he noticed the greenette heading to her sister. He made to intercept, only for Ryu slam into him. They rolled around before Ryu managed to push Tetsunori off with his legs. The large man slammed into the wall. He tried to get up, only to be slammed into the wall again.
"Nice try, but we have a mission to complete." Ryu said. He began striking him over and over again. Tetsunori's eyes widened as Ryu's attacks began to dent and crack his suit.
"Get off!" he yelled as he punched Ryu. The teen ignored this as he slammed Tetsunori into the wall again. He wrapped his tentacles around Tetsunori and threw him up.
"C'mere!" Ryu yelled as he flung his tentacles at Tetsunori. They wrapped around him again and pulled him down. He slammed into the ground as Ryu landed on top of him. He began punching him again.
"Give up! You can't beat me!"
"Really?" flaps on the back of Tetsunori's suit opened. The boosters fired, sending him zooming away. Ryu flipped onto his feet.
"Well, hello Iron Man." he said sarcastically. He charged forward, tentacles shooting forward. Tetsunori caught the tentacles, but was dropkicked. Ryu pulled him back into an uppercut. He slammed into the ceiling and fell down to Ryu's spartan kick. He got up slowly. Ryu flew forward and punched him again, using his tentacles to whip him around.
"Alright. You've earned my full." The criminal's armor had several flaps that popped up. Gatling guns popped up and fired. Ryu began dodging the bullets, knocking them away with his tentacles. He looked at them, impressed.
"Well, if John calls you Rock and Creed, I'm going to call you Saiko and Shuujin." two more tentacles popped up. "Uh, Tsuchi, and Sora." two more popped up. "Ok, Seki and Sei? What's going on?" two more popped out. "Why not. Jun and Tou. Any more?" two more popped out. "Okay, this is getting dumb. Mei and An."
"What's going on?" Kayano asked her sister.
"There have been numerous different tentacle serums that have been made. This one was meant to be the best. It gives the user both enhanced human abilities and tentacles. The amounts of the tentacles are dependent on a person's emotions."
"So, is the brat really angry? What did I do to him?"
"You impaled me with a metal pole. You crushed my friend's foot beyond recovery. You stabbed said friend. What do you think?" Ryu deadpanned. Tetsunori shrugged. The sniper plunged his ten tentacles towards the criminal. Blades popped out of the exosuit's arms and he began slashing as fast as the suit would allow him, resulting in the tentacles being cut up. Ryu tsked as he pulled them back.
"Sorry kid. Looks like your tentacles aren't doing anything." Tetsunori taunted. Ryu raised a brow. Tetsunori frowned as he looked at his arms. The blades were melted.
"Never mind, they did do something," he admitted. Ryu attacked again. Seki and Sei wrapped themselves around Tetsunori's chest, Tsuchi and Sora went around his legs, Jun and Tou caught his arms. They all tied themselves together behind his back, trapping him in place. Ryu put his feet against Tetsunori's torso.
"I still like long distance combat over close quarter, but there is something satisfying about this." Ryu said as he began brutally slamming his fists against the mask. He stopped as he felt something weird.
"Wait a minute." he yelped as Tetsunori charged his boosters and flew them into a wall. The wall cracked, and dust began raining down from the ceiling. Around, the agents were waking up. Isogai and Maehara followed Yada into the hall where Kayano and Aguri had come from.
"Go with them! There are people that need help in there!" Kayano urged the agents while she. They nodded groggily and followed quickly. Tetsunori noticed and tried to follow. Ryu stopped this as he used his tentacles to slam him down. Tetsunori pointed his arm at Ryu, who forced it downwards when it fired a blaster.
"What the hell are up with those tentacles?!" Tetsunori growled. He spun around as quick as he could, launching Ryu away. The sniper skidded across the ground on his feet. He shot his tentacles towards Tetsunori again. The man caught them.
"Your tentacles are slower now. Huh. Sounds like something that you'd hear from a hentai." Tetsunori said. Ryu groaned.
"Can I ever get away from that classification?" he grumbled. Two more tentacles popped out. "Oh, hello Aang and Katara. Actually," he forced his other ten tentacles forward with all his strength. They managed to slip forward in Tetsunori's grip and wrap tightly around his arms. As Tetsunori struggled to get free, Ryu aimed Aang and Katara and spun them like drills. He shot them forward and impaled Tetsunori through the chest. But instead of blood, oil shot out.
"What? What's going on, where's the blood?" Nagisa said. He winced. "Oh man, I sound like a psycho."
"I know what you meant. When I punched him, he didn't feel right. The sound he made. It wasn't a sound of someone getting punched. It was the same sound my siblings make when their characters get killed. It was a robot. A drone."
"But I sensed bloodlust. How could I sense bloodlust if it was a drone?" Nagisa painfully got up with Kayano's help.
"You shouldn't get up, your wound will open more."
"I'm fine."
"You sensed bloodlust because he's in the room. Do you think you can pinpoint his location?" Ryu asked.
"No. Even if my own conscience was calm enough to do something like that, I don't know how. Such bloodlust sensing ability is exclusive to Ha- your partner." Nagisa explained. The entire group was wearing masks with voice changers. They were still incognito.
"Then I'll take care of it." Ryu said. He pressed Saiko and Shuujin into the ground, raising Mei and An. The tips of Saiko and Shuujin became flat plates. Mei and An became funnel shaped. He calmly waited, before suddenly shooting Koku towards the Requiem. He stabbed Haku into the clip area. Requiem beeped, the stripes on the sides beginning to glow green in response.
"Needs antimatter as fuel? Not a problem now." he aimed at the wall and pressed a button. Requiem shifted and became a grenade launcher. He fired it, and shattered the wall with an energy blast. He blinked and looked down at Requiem.
"Wow. This is quite the weapon's project. Wonder if they'd let me keep it?" he said out loud as he sent Jun and Tou into the hole. They dragged out a struggling, skinny man. He was short, slightly wrinkly and was bald. But he was clearly young.
"Let me go, you bastards!" Tetsunori screamed.
"Tetsunori Uyeda. Wanted in ten countries for association with criminals and robbery." Nagisa said as he rested against Kayano. "But don't worry. The bounty on your head is lower than others. You won't receive too much flak. You, uh, you, uh, aaahhhh..." Nagisa drooped.
"Nagisa? What's wrong?"
"My nervous system shut down after he stabbed me on top of the pain of having my foot crushed. It's starting to kick in. Aaaaahhhhhh..." he slurred as he passed out. Ryu looked at Tetsunori.
"..." two more tentacles popped out. Tetsunori looked at him in slight fear.
"So, uh, what do you call them?"
"I'm thinking Butsu and Ban. Dead Man."
"Don't name them that. And don't kill him." Kayano scolded as she laid Nagisa down on his uninjured side. "We really need to get him some medical help."
"Let me take care of it." Ryu said as he walked over. Kayano had pulled out a suturing kit for emergency stitching.
"Can you heal him?"
"I'm not sure. But at the very least, I can stitch him up. I'm not a tailor, but I do have the precision and accuracy of a sniper." Ryu said. He held both Tsuchi and Sora up.
'Okay, I have to be careful about this.'
"Don't worry Ryunosuke. We got this."
"Just stay calm and focus on what you're doing." Ryu froze. He looked at Tsuchi and Sora.
"What's wrong?" Kayano asked nervously. Nagisa was stable, but he still needed help.
"Oh, sorry. I forgot these tentacles had sentience." Ryu said. He picked up the kit, holding the needle with the driver. He gave them to Tsuchi and Sora.
"We'll do the stitching, but you have to guide us." Tsuchi said. The tentacle's voice was a little high, almost like a child's. Ryu stored that away as he focused. Tsuchi and Sora were swift, but precise. The wound in Nagisa's side carefully closed up on both sides. Ryu then took a clean band-aid and wrapped it around Nagisa. Saiko and Shuujin helped Tsuchi and Sora lift Nagisa up carefully. Their immense strength held the light boy easily.
"Alright. Let's finish this mission."
"Hey Fifteen! Seven!" Isogai called. He, Maehara, and Yada led the agents out of the hall. The agents were all carrying the seven unconscious tentacle users out of the room. "We'll take care of everything else here. You guys just head back and get Nagisa and these guys to a hospital."
"Alright. Hey Fifteen, can you-" Kayano was cut off by tentacles going to and wrapping themselves around the unconscious people. If Ryu had to guess, his tentacles had a range of about 9 meters. Pretty cool.
"Let's go." Ryu said. Kayano nodded. They quickly and carefully walked out. Ryu couldn't help but grin at how easy it was for him to carry all nine people, Nagisa and Ms Yukimura included. The tentacles were quite helpful.
"Thank you Ryunosuke. We appreciate the compliment." Saiko said. Ryu faltered slightly but continued to walk.
"Aw man! You didn't make him yelp. It would be funnier if he yelped." Shuujin complained.
'Sorry kids. But I'm used to siblings trying to surprise me.' Ryu thought to the tentacles.
"Well that takes the fun out of that."
"Shuujin, stop." Saiko scolded.
'So, can all of you talk to me?' Ryu thought.
"No sir. Only the four of us. Shuujin, Tsuchi, Sora and I. Shuujin and I came to life because we're the ones who were the first. Tsuchi and Sora were brought to life when your mind achieved a balance between chaos and stability from your desire to save Mr Nagisa. The rest aren't as sentient as we are. They respond to your commands, but nothing else." Saiko explained.
'So I didn't need to give them all names?'
"It was nice of you to do so though." Tsuchi said.
"Door coming up." Sora said. Ryu looked up and followed Kayano out the door. When they got out, Kayano looked back at Ryu.
"So, know how to call up the guy in the plane?"
"I don't think we need to worry about that right now." Ryu said, pointing upwards. Two jets, one the one they had arrived in, were coming down to them. Time to go home.
"GET THE HECK IN, TOKA IS IN LABOR!" John screamed.
Really, time to go home.
I felt that John didn't get enough attention in this crossover, so I tried to make it up by putting all my effort into his fight with Yanagisawa, and I think it was pretty good.
