The next morning, Charlie set the daily paper onto the breakfast table. "Deaths in Seattle, girls." He said lowly, "Be careful when you go around the city. Officers have reported about twenty missing people from last night, but no bodies." He sighed, "I will need to work late tonight, because I'm going there."
"Be careful, Charlie," Bella cautioned.
Hermione only nodded in response. She felt something fishy going on. No bodies but missing. A lightbulb appeared in her head, Newborn vampires. Victoria had already gotten to them.
She breathed in a shocked gasp and immediately lost her appetite. Their training session needed to be changed. Instead of going against just two vampires, they had created a large newborn army. They would be much stronger than their group, and their side would nearly guarantee a win. And if Charlie would be going there…
"Stay in groups," Hermione advised, "Don't separate from others. We don't want to find your body gone."
Charlie chuckled and ruffed Hermione's bushy hair, "Yes, I know, Hermione. I'm Police Chief, remember? I know this stuff."
She cracked a smile. She bit back her reply of, I know more. Her eyes followed Charlie as he walked out of the door.

VERY IMPORTANT A/N: This chapter is short because I'm not really posting this chapter to continue on with the story, but rather put up an author note. PLEASE READ THIS, especially if you are currently following this story.
First of all, I know I've been gone and working on my second fanfiction, Return of the Breeze. Check that out if you want, but I'm aware that this fic had been idle for nearly four weeks. Yeah, I realized that I had updated one chapter a day sometimes before, and this is weird. My excuses: I started a new fic, school started again, and I read a new book series (kind of. I read the first 3 books of) the Mortal Instruments.
Another reason is I don't know how I'm going to eventually end this. I've got an idea for the epilogue, but not much before that. I also don't have that much enthusiasm any longer. I'm not too big on this particular fanfiction because after reading the fourth book again and watching the first movie, I'm not such a Twilight fan anymore. (Go Harry Potter. And maybe Mortal Instruments.) I kinda meant, I don't like Bella. And skip the next paragraph if you don't want to hear me bash about Bella Swan and the Twilight movies.
Bella is selfless. If someone went up to her and told her that they are a vampire who wants to drink her blood, she should at least prepare to jump out of the car or something. But she's more like, "Meh. I could care less. I still think you are interesting, Edward." In addition, she needs to sort her priorities, but not in a Hermione way. She is super willing to ditch Charlie and Renee, people who have been there for her all of their lives, for a guy she had dated for a year. Also, the movie made me extremely bored. The fist Twilight film 100% confirmed the fact that books are better than movies for me. The rising action of the story started thirty minutes before the two-hour movie ended. And when James, Victoria, and Laurent came out of the shadows, ROCK music was played. I was like, "SeRiOuSlY?" Those of you who don't agree with me…ah well. I guess this is just my opinion.
I am not sure what I feel about this fanfiction, unfortunately. I am too scared to reread it because I'm afraid I'll hate it very much to the point I delete it. But there has been so much support, whether it is reviewing, favoriting, or following, so I'm wavering right now. I don't want to upset everyone…And those of you who are shouting, "JUST READ IT YOURSELF AND NOT DELETE IT," I apologize. I'm not a Gryffindor who has the courage to do so. I hope you all understand.

For now, THIS STORY WILL BE ON A HIATUS. No deleting, but I can't guarantee updating in the near future. That's all.
Thank you, a-potato-forever
