He got up and washed his face before heading to his bedroom where he took a peek inside his closet, it had a bunch of casual outfits and jackets.
As he took off his shirt he heard an extremely girlish yawn before ash came inside his bedroom as she hovered around.
"Pervert" he said as he covered his body with his shirt.
"Good morning to you too" she replied as she rubbed her eyes Yulil chuckled and put his shirt away as he grabbed a grey t-shirt, ash stared at his chest as she noticed the overwhelming amount of scars "That's... Quite the amount of scars you got there" she said as she came closer to inspect them.
"Well... That's what i get for being a soldier my whole life" he said as he took a look at himself "Most of these are bullets and shrapnel, this however..." He said as he pointed to his stomach.
"Is a stab wound... I was unfortunate enough to get disarmed when I was clearing a house in an operation" "I see... I'm glad you survived" she said as she smiled "I am too... Wait a second no, how the hell are you here?!" He said as he remembered that he didn't bring her with them "Ah well, I may or may not have been invisible and joined you on the ride, teehee~" Yulil sighed and wore the grey shirt "I didn't even feel your presence... You're getting good at hiding aren't you?"
"I'll take that as a compliment" she said as she looked proud.
"So what are you going to do now?" Ash asked "I don't really know... I'm thinking of going to a bar an old of friend of mine owns... He took care of my kid so he might know her whereabouts"
"Oh that angelica?" "You heard everything?" He said as he gave her a stern look "Woopsie~" "Ugh, you can't escape from all of your problems by being cute you know?"
"I am escaping them right now though~" she said as yulil sighed and pushed her down "Hey~ you're going to ruin my hovering module!" "Yeah yeah" he said as he headed towards the kitchen.
He prepared coffee for himself and poured some in a cup, he headed outside on the balcony as he sat down on a chair he found.
"The city is beautiful" ash said as she hovered around before she dropped down on yulil's lap.
"it's relaxing seeing this sight, rather than the desolated cities we get sent to" he said as he pulled a cigarette and lit it "Exactly" she replied as both enjoyed the view.
"I'm sure ar-team are glad to have visited this city" ash added "I hope so... I'm really worried about them, they get too much stuff thrown their way"
"What do you mean?"
"I feel like kruyger overestimate ar-team and their abilities, I mean sure they are elite tdolls, I know that... But honestly, if things continue like this I'm afraid one of them will be gone"
"Ah... But you're protecting them right? I'm sure nothing will happen as long as you keep your eyes on them"

After some time passed yulil finally drank his coffee and finished his cigarette.
"So I'm going to go to that friend's bar I told you about, and I'm guessing you won't like staying here, right?" He told her as ash's hologram turned around to face yulil.
"Of course not! I'll be coming with you whether you like it or not" she said with a sly smile "Heh, well let's get going then" yulil said with a sigh as ash started hovering around, he got up and grabbed his jacket and wore his shoes, he locked the door behind him as ash followed him inside the elevator.
He got inside his car as ash dropped on top of his lap "There's plenty of empty seats you know?" He said as he looked down.
"Yeah but I like this better!" She said with a smile as she crossed her arms.
He smiled and started the engine as he headed towards the neighbourhood Noah's bar was situated in.
"So what's your friend like?" Ash asked yulil as she looked upwards.
"He's a good guy, really nice too... I wouldn't leave Angy in his care if I didn't trust him" yulil said as he had a nostalgic smile on his face, remembering his time with noah on the first months of the war "You think he'll remember you?" "He probably will, he always had a good memory... And hopefully he'll know where Angy is... because I really don't wanna get help from that trio of dumbasses"
"That woman and the two tdolls of yesterday?"
"Yeah, those guys... nevertheless Sasha does reminds me of Angy" "I bet she was quite the tomboy huh?" "Oh you don't even know... I'm guessing she changed a lot for her to get married... Ah well, let's just hope noah knows where the hell she is, if he doesn't then maybe Laura or Valerie know"

"Ah yeah you don't know them, Laura is his daughter and Valerie is his wife, they're good people"
"Oh I see, hopefully they do!" "Let's hope so"
The car finally stopped in front of the bar, the purple sign bearing the name of the bar "va-11 hall-a" was attached proudly on top of the doorway.
"So, I'm not gonna say you're not allowed to come with me but just don't make a lot of fuss okay?"
"Don't worry I'll camouflage myself to not attract any unwanted attention, and thanks" ash said with a smile as yulil got out of his car and locked it behind him.
He stood Infront of the door and took a deep breathe before opening it He noticed some people inside, not much, well this is morning after all he thought, most of them were young, around their 20s The bar was beautiful, and the decor was really pleasent to look at.
He noticed that a woman in around "Sasha's" age was by the counter, wiping the insides of some glass.
The woman had green eyes with her hair dyed in a light shade of pink, she wore a bartender outfit bellow an apron Yulil immediately recognised laura as he sat down by the counter.
"Good morning sir, so what can I get ya?" She said with a polite smile as she noticed yulil "Good morning to you too Laura" yulil said "Oh, I'm flattered you know my name... Have we perhaps met somewhere?" "Well yes, around 30 years ago, I'm hurt... you don't even remember the one who always took you and Angy to the forest, 30 years ago?" he said Laura cocked her head to the side and squinted her eyes, before widening them and putting the glass on the table "Uncle yulil?!" She said, trying her best to not yell, as she gave yulil a hug "Wh-what h-happened? How are you alive? Shouldn't you be 62 years old by now?!" She said, as she looked like she had too many questions to ask.
"Military secrets" he said with a smile as Laura started pouting, she was really good at it.
"Fine, keep your secrets, I'm so glad you're alive though! Does angy know?!" "Well I did come here to look for her, maybe you or your old man know where she might be? Where even is he?" "Dad... and mom are gone" she said as she looked at the ground "Ah... I'm sorry"
"It's okay don't worry! You're back and that's what matters right?! Though I don't know where Angy is since she doesn't usually stay in one house" she said as she quickly regained her cheerful attitude "Uh what do you mean by that?"
"Well she works for the FSB so she usually get sent all around the place"
As he heard her answer yulil slowly buried his face in his hands "Laura..."
"Y-yes?"
"Does angy have scars on her face?" "Well yes, she has two on each cheeks and one on her forehead"
Yulil sighed deeply "Ugh...That little..."
"She usually come visits me here so she might come!" Laura said, trying to comfort yulil.
"Oh~ speak of the devil" Laura added as she looked behind yulil, he slowly turned his head as he saw angelica walking towards them with a smile "I see that you beat me to it, and I wanted to keep this cover a bit more, meanie" she said as she looked at both of them, as she reached them yulil didn't utter a word as he got up and hugged her, she wrapped her arms around him, steadily tightening her grip.
"I missed you, you know?" She said as she playfully kicked yulil, Laura smiled at the scene "I missed you too...I missed you too..." After a couple of seconds they let go of each other, angelica looked like she did her best to keep her composure as she fixed her hair.
"You've really grown up haven't you?, this should've happened yesterday, not now... Why didn't you tell me it was you?!" He said as he sat back down, angelica sat beside him as Laura grabbed two drinks and handed them to yulil and angelica "This is on the house! For our little family reunion!"
"Oh you~" angelica said as she faked being flattered "Thanks" yulil added as he took a sip "Well I thought of playing with you a bit, since you really played with me 30 years ago haven't you?" She said with an angry look "Ah well, who would've expected that SF would go haywire, and just when I was going to take my vacation, pfff" yulil said as both chuckled "I'm really glad you didn't die... But how dare you call me a dumbass!" she said as she slammed the table, remembering the discussion of yesterday.
"Ah well, you ARE a dumbass, why the hell did you get into the FSB?!"
"Touch ... hehe" angelica replied as she scratched her cheek.
"Oh oh! she got so mad when she heard of what happened to you when she got older that she started rebelling" Laura said "Laura..." Angelica replied as she gave her a warning look "Haha! I remember her getting into so much fights that she'd at least twice a week come back with bloodied knuckles" "Laura stop, you don't know what you're doing to me" "She was regularly getting suspended, ah but still everyone liked how she'd beat up the bullies, sometimes even beating them up 1v4, I tried to stop her but you know his stubborn this girl is" Laura said as she giggled "I see..." Yulil said as he diverted his look to angelica, he had a genuinely scary look, angelica gulped and scratched her cheek.
Yulil bursted laughing after he noticed she got uneasy.
He patted her head as he gave her a warm smile "I'm happy that you turned out like me, you should always try and act when you see unfair treatment, helping people is the basis of humanity"
"Thanks" she said as she smiled.
"However..." he added as he lost his smile, regained his scary look and started gripping tightly on her head "Ow ow ow ow ow!" She kept saying as she tried to take his hand off.
"I do not appreciate you giving noah a hard time raising you" "Don't worry, dad always said she took her personality from you and didn't mind her rebellious phase, he used to always mention you and laugh when she'd do something outrageous" Laura said as she smiled "Fine...you're off the hook" yulil said as he sighed and let go of her head "Thanks for the save girl!" Angelica said as she high fived Laura, yulil laughed a bit and lit a cigarette, all of a sudden when he exhaled the smoke through his mouth the front doors of the bar got opened violently.
"Not those bastards again..." Laura said.
Angelica and yulil turned around as they saw 5 men in suits, one of them looked like he had a broken nose from the bandaid on it, everyone slowly exited the bar as they saw the men storming inside.
"That's her! That's the bitch!" The injured man said, pointing at angelica.
As yulil heard those words he tightened his grip on his glass "Ah~ I see that you brought your husbands to me" she said with a sly smile.
One of the man who looked more intimidating than the rest of the goons, with a beard and a scar passing through his eye started walking towards them.
As he reached the trio he gave yulil a warning look, in vain seeing how yulil didn't flinch, keeping eye contact with the man, with his cigarette in his mouth.
The man diverted his attention to Laura.
"We'll forgive your friend here if you pay the fine... You know exactly what we'll do to you if you don't comply" he said with a deep, threatening voice.
"You've got a lot of balls buddy, do you want me to break your nose too?" Angelica said with a devilish smile, as she rested her head on her hand, with her elbow on the counter.
"This is your last warning" he replied, "I'll... I'll pay it" Laura said, with a voice that sounded like she gave in to their threats, yulil was slowly started to run out of patience, he was never going to let Laura get extorted from the beginning "You're paying nothing, you can't let these assholes take advantage of you" angelica said "Look! I don't want them to hurt you!" "Good bitch" the man replied with a chuckle... And that was the last straw for yulil as he got up and stood face to face with the burly man, he inhaled the smoke and exhaled it on his face.
"Can you repeat that?" Yulil said.
"You think you're tough shit, asshole? I told her that she was a good bit-" the man replied before getting headbutted by yulil, he headbutted him so hard that the intimidating man fell on the ground as he held his bloody nose. yulil put his cigarette gently on the table as the four other man rushed towards him, with the jukebox playing an aggressive rock song that felt oddly appropriate for the current situation.
"Fuck yeah! That's what I'm talking about!" Angelica said as she got up and grabbed her chair from its legs, smashing it on one of the men before she hit him with a punch to the throat, he recoiled back and she took advantage of that as she kicked him right to his head, dropping him like a fly.
One of the man grabbed a knife he had hidden in his vest and lunged at yulil, yulil skillfully grabbed his arm and let it pass him as he sidestepped to the left before striking him with his knee right under his chin, one of the other men tried to punch yulil from behind before he got speared by angelica right into a table, breaking the table in two.
Yulil kicked the man's leg making him fall down on his stomach. Then he stepped on his back with his knee and pulled the arm he was holding the knife with as strongly as he could, twisting it all the way back before breaking it all together, the man screamed his lungs out as he let the knife fall, before going unconscious from the pain.
As Angelica got up she saw that the man who she previously broke his nose was trying to attack yulil, she grabbed a bottle of beer she found and threw it at the man, hitting him straight in the back of his head, the man recoiled and looked at angelica, before charging at her, that's when yulil put the knife around his throat, making him stop in his tracks.
"I don't advise you to continue" yulil told the man, as he put on a terrifying, cold expression Suddenly yulil heard a cocking sound behind him as he turned around he found the burly man he headbutted earlier with a pistol, aiming it at yulil's forehead.
"I'll repeat what I said hehe... And you can't do shit about it..." the man said proudly, with a smirk on his face and holding his bleeding nose with one hand while yulil gritted his teeth and furrowed his eyebrows "I said she was a good bi-" he was saying as Laura sneaked behind him, striking him with a baseball bat right to the back of his head, knocking him unconscious.
Yulil and angelica stood there with wide eyes, staring at Laura breathing heavily.
"Just shut up!" She yelled at the already knocked out man Both yulil and angelica looked at each other and burst laughing, not before angelica punched the already broken nose of the man yet again, knocking him out as she continued laughing.
Angelica presented a closed fist to yulil as she had a big smile on her face.
"Glad to have you back" she said with a smile as he smiled back and fist-bumped her, surrounded by the 5 unconscious men.
Yulil grabbed the pistol pulled out the magazine and racked the slide, he also grabbed the knife and put them all on the counter, finishing by picking up his cigarette and continued to smoke it as angelica grabbed another chair and sat beside yulil.
"I'll pay you back for the damage" he told laura "Don't worry, you helped me enough with kicking their butts"
"You did good with hitting him Laura, Im really surprised you actually did" angelica said as she pointed at the man Laura knocked unconscious "No one is allowed to hurt uncle yulil and angelica... except me" she said as the trio filled the bar with laughter.
"So who are they anyway?" Yulil asked as he pointed with his thumb behind him.
"They're just some wannabe mafia" angelica said "They're not some wannabe mafia angelica, they really hold a lot of power and influence" Laura said.
"Only in THIS area though" "But my bar is still in this neighborhood, angelica" Laura said with a worried face.
"I'll keep coming here, I did it yesterday, I did it today and I'll do it tomorrow" angelica said.
"But what if you're not here?" Laura replied as angelica quieted down Yulil thought about it, he definitely wont leave Laura here unprotected.
"Laura... How about you close this bar and come work for me as a bartender, I've got a hybrid cafe and bar that desperately needs a bartender" yulil said to her with a smile, Laura widened her eyes at his proposal before she looked around the bar.
"But... This is dad's bar, how can I just leave it?"
"Look Laura, I'm pretty sure noah wouldn't care at all about this bar if it meant putting you at risk, he took care of Angy when I was off so I'm definitely not going to leave you here, these assholes will keep coming back until you go bankrupt"
Laura buried her face in her hands when she heard his words, he was right, noah wouldn't agree for her to put her life at risk just to take care of his bar.
"I guess you're right... You're always right uncle yulil" she said as she gave him a warm smile.
"I'm glad you made the right choice, don't worry I'll pay you handsomely"
"Oh you better, we didn't take Angy in our care for nothing" Laura added as she winked at yulil "What am I now, a pet?" Angelica said as she drank from her glass, the other two chuckled as yulil finished his cigarette.
"Anyway, like I've said, I advise you to close the bar as soon as possible, try to sell it if you can, you'll stay at my house today since I'm pretty sure these mafia wannabe will come again, sooner or later"
"Okay, I'll go and pack my bags... Oh and thanks a lot uncle yulil" "Technically we're all the same age so you can drop the uncle thing" yulil told her "Hehe, it doesn't matter, uncle yulil will always be uncle yulil" Laura said with a warm smile as she went through the back door.
"She didn't change by one bit did she" yulil said as he smiled.
"Not even by an inch, she's still the sweet innocent girl you knew 30 years ago."
"And you're still a man in a woman's body" yulil playfully said as angelica punched his shoulder.
"I'm really glad you're back, you know?" Angelica told him as she looked at the her glass.
"Yeah I do...I'm sorry I left, I really wanted to be there for you, there when you graduate, there when you get married...then again no one would accept to marry you" yulil said as he chuckled while angelica tried to punch his side.
"Yeah well, I don't care... My only goal in my life is to destroy SF for taking you away from me." Angelica replied as she put on a grim expression "Angelica... You should really stop thinking about that and care more about your own life you know? What if you suddenly die, Wouldn't you regret not enjoying your life?" Yulil said with a worried look as he noticed her expression She smiled at her glass before she gave him her reply.
"I regret nothing... I don't even mind the fact that I was thrown away in the streets in my childhood... Because if that didn't happen..." She said before she turned towards yulil.
If that didn't happen I wouldn't have met you, I wouldn't have met the man who was the sunshine in my life, the man who gave me my name, the man who treated me as his own daughter... So no yulil, I do not regret a single thing" angelica confidently said to yulil "Hey, since when do you call me by my name?" Yulil said as he crossed his arms and cocked his side head to the side.
"You're the one who said it, we're all basically the same age so forget the formalities" she said as she gave him a smirk "I said the uncle thing, not formalities" "Bla bla bla yeah, I got it yulil" "Swear to god" he softly said as he didn't want to argue further on, angelica chuckled when she heard him "Well" angelica said as she looked at the five unconscious men "Should we leave them outside or call the police?...or~"
"Or?"
"We make them disappear, heheh- OW" she said as she evilly chuckled before she got karate-chopped by yulil to her head.
"I'd rather leave them to the authorities" he said as he picked up his phone "I already did call the cops" Laura said as she came out of the door.
"Boring~, I would've preferred putting them to bed... Indefinitely... Okay I'll stop! hahah" she was saying as she evaded another karate chop from yulil "I'm really glad we didn't change" Laura said as she held a duffel bag and a backpack.
"I am too, I'm gonna say it again, I'm really glad you're back yulil, I missed you after all these years, I genuinely never thought you'd be back but... I couldn't be happier right now" angelica said as she gave yulil a heart-warming smile "Awww" Laura and yulil said in unison as both messed her hair "Yeah yeah, you won't see my emotional side again" she said as she crossed her arms.
Suddenly they started hearing the distant sirens.
"Guess they're near" angelica said as she got up.
"I'll help you convince them, I'm pretty sure they won't ask many questions if I show them my FSB papers" she added "You're really taking advantage of your job huh?" "Anything for my two favourite idiots" she said with a smile as she headed outside followed by her two favourite idiots.
And so the trio explained the situation to the policemen, at first they wanted to bring the trio back for interrogation, but that was quickly thrown out when they saw Angelica's FSB papers, the policemen took the five thugs out of Laura's establishment and drove off.
"Finally done" angelica said as she leaned on the wall of the bar while Laura was closing the bar "It's a good thing we had you today, I wouldn't have liked being interrogated" yulil replied "Hehe, praise me more" she said as yulil sighed at her cocky attitude and just shook his head.
"I'm finally done!" Laura said as she stretched her arms upwards while holding the keys of the bar "It was nice to finally reunite with you after all these years, today's been really fun" angelica said to the both of them.
"She's right, finally our little family could reunite again" Laura replied "Yeah you're right, I'm as happy as you two are...oh by the way do you need a ride angelica?"
"Nah, those two are just a block away, anyway I'll be leaving now, 12 and 94 should be already waiting for me, don't do anything stupid alright? Especially with laura" angelica said to yulil "Just get the hell out of here" he replied as she laughed and waved one last time before she walked away.
"What did she mean by that?" Laura asked "Don't worry about it, you're too innocent for her" he said as he patted her head while chuckling.
"Let's just go home shall we?" He said as Laura nodded happily and joined him.
As they got inside the car ash deactivated her clock and dropped by yulil's lap, Laura twitched as she looked at ash before she spoke up "who's this cute thing?!" "Oh not again..." Ash said as she had the expression that this has happened far too many times, she was grabbed by Laura and hugged tightly.
"That's my drone, her name's ash."
"Nice to meet you ash!"
"Nice to uh... meet you too" ash said as Laura resumed hugging her.
Yulil chuckled as he started the engine, destination: home.
"So what are you doing now uncle yulil?" Laura asked "I'm working for Griffin & kruyger"
"Ah, isn't it that mercenary company?"
"Yeah, the pay's pretty good too"
"Isn't it dangerous?"
"Well... I would lie if I'd say that it's not" he said as he nervously chuckled when he noticed that Laura had an angry look... She concluded her staring with a sigh before she spoke.
"You can do whatever you want uncle yulil, just... Just try to not disappear another time okay? You're the only family me and angelica have left"
"I promise, nothing will happen to me so don't worry okay?" He said as he patted her head.
"You know... It may not seem like it, but it's been a long time since I've seen angelica laughing and smiling so genuinely... Your disappearance was really tough for her, and when I'd try to talk about it with her she'd just put on a fake smile to not worry me...I'm also really glad that you're back, you and Angy are probably the only people that I can depend on"
"Yeah...Angy isn't the type to speak out her emotions, I'm really sorry to not be there for you two"
"Ah what are you talking about! It's not like you had a choice anyway just don't don't worry about it, what's matters is that you're back!"
"Hehe you were always the cheerful one" he said with a slight chuckle
The duo finally arrived at yulil's house.
"Oh~ that's one nice apartment" Laura said as she admired yulil's apartment.
"I know right? Looks like Griffin really take care of their employees"
With that said yulil moved to the back of his car as he unlocked the trunk and carried laura's luggage "Thanks!" She said happily as she carried ash in her arms.
"I can hover you know?" Ash said, desperately wanting to escape her grip.
"You... don't like me?" Laura said as she faked crying.
"N-no I d-didnt mean it like that, you can hug me as much as you want!" ash said with a flustered face.
"Hehehe, no going back now!" Laura said, regaining her cheerfulness "Y-you... You monster! Help me yulil!" She said as yulil and Laura chuckled.
"Oh~ your house is so pretty" Laura said as they got in "You're damn right" he replied as he dropped her luggage in his bedroom.
Laura jumped on the sofa of the living room as she sighed deeply.
"Want some hot chocolate?" Yulil said from the kitchen.
"Yes please!" Laura said.
She put her hand inside of her pocket, before she pulled out a usb stick, with a piece of paper tapped on it *Yulil*, she clenched her fist with the usb stick inside as she sighed.
After a short time yulil came out of the kitchen holding two cups.
"Thanks" she said as he handed her a cup.
"Uhm, uncle yulil?" She added "What's wrong?" He replied, she only handed him the usb stick as he noticed his name written on it.
"This is... Combat footage of dad, there are three videos inside, starring you"
"Ah i see... Have you seen them?" "No, I thought I'd give it to angelica but well, you're back" "Thanks... You want to watch them don't you?" He said as he noticed her obvious expression, she slowly nodded her head.
"Are you really sure you want to watch them? Whatever is inside won't be pretty... At all" he warned her.
"I want to" she said with no hesitation, yulil smiled and got up.
"I guess you're a grown woman now, alright... Lemme get my laptop"
After a couple of seconds yulil came back from his bedroom with a laptop, decorated with the Griffin & kruyger logo on its cover.
He put the laptop on the table as he inserted the usb stick, as he browsed inside of it he noticed that it contained only a folder named *war and your father* "Guess noah wanted to give this usb to angelica huh?" Yulil said after he read the name of the folder "Maybe he wanted to dissuade her from continuing her military career" she replied As yulil entered the folder he found 3 video tapes "Last chance to turn around laura" yulil said, she slowly shook her head.
He sighed and double clicked on the first video *The beginning*
The video began with noah speaking with an officer around his 50s, he looked of a high rank.

"Yeah I'm your spotter, so how are things looking" noah said as he grabbed the binocular on yulil's left and started scanning the horizon "Looking pretty clean! Have the reinforcements arrived yet?" Noah looked at yulil who was focused on looking inside of his scope "Do you honestly think they'll come save us?" Noah said with a depressed voice Yulil gave noah a sidelook before replying "What are you talking about?! Of course they'll come, even if they don't we'll kick the enemy's ass anyway so don't worry about it bud!" Noah chuckled before replying "You really are an optimist... My name's noah, what's your name?"
Noah said as he opened his hand, yulil smiled at him before he shook his hand and replied.

The second video tape started with noah inside of an APC chatting with what seemed the members of his squad, and by the tone of their voice it seemed like noah was the leader.
Suddenly the Armored personnel carrier came to a halt as the soldiers disembarked, they were inside of a small forward operation base.
Noah started walking towards a soldier and asked him.
"Hey man how are you doing?" He asked him.
"Doin' alright, what about ya?" The soldier replied with a deep voice "Likewise, I wanted to ask if a soldier by the name of [REDACTED] [REDACTED] is posted here?"
The soldier suddenly seemed uneasy "Uh... Yeah, he's our squad leader... Do you need somethin' from him?" "He's a friend of mine, haven't seen him in months, can you tell me where he is?"
"I, yeah... He's inside that building... Though you should be careful around him"
"Huh? Why?"
"You'll... It's better that you see by yourself" the soldier concluded as he continued his way, leaving noah in a confused state.
Noah shrugged it off as he headed towards the aforementioned building, as he entered the small building he found yulil shirtless sitting on a chair with his legs on a table But that wasn't the thing that made Noah's heart skip a beat.
He also noticed the blood dripping from yulil's forearms as he was holding a combat knife with his hand, slashing small cuts on his forearm.
"What are you doing?" Noah said, attracting yulil's attention "Huh?...Noah?! Oh man I'm so glad to see that you didn't die like the rest!" Yulil replied as he put the knife on the table.
"Why are you cutting yourself?" Noah said "Oh this? Keeping count on how much of the enemy I've killed so far, I'm at probably 40 or 50" yulil said with an emotionless smile Noah took a closer look at yulil, he noticed his empty eyes, and the bags under them, it almost looked like he was emotionally withdrawn from the world.
"What happened to you man?" Noah depressingly said "What do you mean? I've never felt better" "Don't lie to me" noah replied making yulil grit his teeth "You think I'm a liar? That's pretty harsh" "You can talk to me you know? I'm always her-"
"I've got nothing to talk to you, if you're done talking you can leave" yulil replied as he turned away.
Noah grabbed him by his shoulder.
"I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what's wrong" "God... Since when you were so fucking nosy, noah?" "Since my friend is cutting himself" he said with a weak expression on his face "Just what happened to you... What happened to that cheerful guy who always saw the bright side of life?" Yulil grit his teeth and furrowed his eyebrows, his face looked full of wrath as he grabbed noah by his collar and pushed him towards the wall "He fucking died alright?! He's gone! This war took everything that he held dear!" he said as he slammed noah against the wall again "Everyone fucking died! I watched all of my squad get butchered! Everyone I knew got a bullet through their head, why the fuck would I care anymore huh?! This war is a fucking joke! can't you get that through your fucking head?! We're fighting for nothing! We're just a bunch of pawns ready to get sacrificed! nothing matters anymore! We're all dying here sooner or later!" he continued saying as his face slowly went from anger to despair.
"Yuri is gone! Igor is gone! Viktor is gone! Alex is fucking dead! Sergei died in my fucking arms and I couldn't do jack shit to help him! Everyone became corpses... they're..." He said as his voice cracked and broke throughout the sentence, while slowly letting go of Noah's collar "They're all gone man..." He concluded with tears flowing down his cheeks, before noah hugged yulil "I just wanna go back...I just want to meet people that don't want to shoot me anymore... I'm sick and tired of all of this" yulil added with a broken voice "It's okay... It's okay, we'll get through this dude, don't give up now... you're strong, remember what you told me? we'll kick the enemy's ass anyway so don't worry about it bud " Noah said as the video tape ended
Yulil crossed his arms as he looked away, "I'm sorry if you didn't want to re-live this" Laura said as he sighed and looked at her "It's okay, it just reminds me how much of an amazing person your old man was"
"Hehe yeah I know..." She said as she looked at his forearms.
"Caught ya!" he playfully said as he noticed she was staring at his forearms, covered with the sleeves of his shirt.
"Sorry" "You Wanna see them don't you?" He said with a smirk "If you don't mind..." She replied as yulil smiled and rolled his sleeves upwards.
She saw that both of his forearms were full of little cuts, dozens and dozens of them, at the point of being uncountable.
"If you're okay with me asking... Why did you do this to yourself?" She said as she looked at him straight in the eyes "Honestly I don't know... At that point, when I saw all my teammates die, and even more of my friends die after that I... just lost it, I guess I just seeked emotional comfort in physical pain, it's quite ironic isn't it?" He said, before he noticed the aura of worry coming from her face, he smiled and patted her head "Don't worry, I'm far away from those days now"
The third video wasn't actually combat footage, but rather a compilation of group photos, including noah and his family plus yulil and angelica.
At the end a message from noah came on Angelica... Please stop chasing your delusional revenge, I don't want to see you die, Valerie neither, let alone Laura... I'm sure yulil is happy wherever he is...stop trying to make things right. for him, seeing you grow up and have an enjoyable life would be the best revenge he'd ever get.
Yulil slide down a bit from the sofa and sighed.
"I'm pretty sure Angy won't chase anything now that you're back" Laura said "Let's hope so, that kid is as stable as dynamite"
Both chuckled as Laura suddenly got up "With the emotional time gone let's have a bit of fun shall we?!" Yulil raised an eyebrow as he replied "What kind of fun do you have in mind?"
"Alcohol of course!" She said proudly Yulil looked at his watch and saw that it was 19:47 the sun was already slowly setting "Guess it won't hurt" "Alright! That's the spirit! I'll go get some alcohol that I brought with me" Laura said as she headed towards the bedroom.
"This is gonna be a long night" yulil said before he looked at the ceiling
After a bit of time laughter and chatter could be heard from yulil's home.
"I'm still amazed how you're a bartender yet you're such a light drinker" yulil said as he laughed "Just shut up will ya?!" The red-faced Laura said, as she slammed her glass on the table.
Yulil drank a shot and as he put the glass down he noticed Laura staring at him with a smirk "Do I have something on my face?" He said as he cocked his head to the side.
"Yes, you have something on your lips, bring them here" she said as she giggled Yulil burst laughing before he replied.
"Is that genuinely your pickup line? Oh lord... What happened to your innocence"
"By the way when are you getting married yulil? You're 62 years old for god's sake" she said as she gave him a smug laugh.
"Wow~ that's pretty confident for someone who never even had a boyfriend" he replied as she clumsily tried to punch him.
"Hey I've got high standards you know?" Laura said as she crossed her arms.
"Good luck finding one who meets your high standards my highness" he sarcastically said She gave him a sidelook and a grin, before she pushed him by his shoulders as he fell on his back.
She poked his nose before she drunkenly said "Oh~ I always knew someone who met all of my standards since the beginning"
Yulil chuckled before he replied.
"Oh jeez, you're lucky I'm not drunk" he said as he pinched her red cheeks.
Suddenly he started hearing faint, light metallic noises coming from his front door.
Yulil and Laura looked at each with confusion before they diverted their attention towards the door, it suddenly opened as 4 delinquents came inside "Oh no..." Yulil said "Yu~-lil~ I've come for a visit!... kugh?!" Ump45 was saying as she noticed Laura on top of him.
"You can't just barge in! he'll get mad at us you know?!...huh?!" Hk416 was saying as she carried g11 on her back before she also noticed the duo.
"What got you two so surprised?... Oh my~" ump9 said "Hello there" yulil said with a friendly smile "You already have me..." Ump45 said as she gave off a terrifying aura.
"I'm all you need, yet..." hk416 added "Oh~ how sweet the bells of doom sound"
