Bowser's not gonna listen to anyone's pleas to stop, unfortunately. Sorry.

Only in the RPG games and Super Mario Odyssey, Bowser is in "love" with Peach. This makes me think Bowser is 50:50 about his true feelings for Peach.

Yeah, man! Look how far they've come already!

Me too. Given Luigi's my favorite Mario Brother, I would comfort him too.
7B - Bowser's Horrorific Castle
As the elevator lowered more and more, everything darkened slowly. Alex took out his flashlight and turned it on. Seconds later, the elevator stopped and Yoshi opened the gate to allow everyone to exit.
The first area the group entered was a lounge room with two green sofas on either side; two Boo wall paintings hung above the sofas. There were no ceiling lights at all.
"Where do we go?" Alex whispered. Mario looked around and found a long hallway to his right.
"This way."
Mario and friends walked slowly down the hall and kept as quiet as possible. This was so that they wouldn't attract any ghosts potentially floating around. Alex held Luigi's hand, feeling him tremble with fear.
Eventually, they came upon two brown wood doors in front and on their left. Yoshi tried the left door first, which led to an empty bathroom.
"Nothing in here," Yoshi mumbled. He opened the front door and stepped aside to allow the Mario Bros and Alex through. After Yoshi went in last, the group found themselves in a library with three bookshelves. Alex flashed his flashlight at the book bindings and stepped toward the shelves.
"What books are there?" Alex asked softly.
"Alex, don't touch them," Mario warned Alex, who backed away from the shelves. "You wouldn't want to know what Boos read."
"Okay."
Meanwhile, Luigi tiptoed a small distance away to find the way to the next room. Suddenly, he heard a distant music box play the Luigi's Mansion theme, stopping him in his tracks.
"W-what's th-that…music…?" Luigi asked with a shaky voice. He looked around to find where the music was coming from, but it faded away a moment later. Luigi turned to Mario, Yoshi, and Alex.
"What's wrong, Luigi?" Yoshi questioned.
"I-I th-thought I h-heard…a m-music b-box…or something…"
"I didn't hear anything."
While Yoshi and Luigi talked, Alex found another door at the top right of the library. He beckoned the Mario Bros and Yoshi to follow him. Mario stayed close to Luigi and kept him company while Alex led the way.
The next hallway had Goomba and Koopa Troopa paintings on both walls and hung a right after a short straight line.
"I-is s-something…g-gonna p-pop out…a-at us…?" Luigi asked Mario.
"Maybe. Maybe not," Mario whispered. Just then, another music box sounded straight ahead, playing the "Overworld" theme from Super Mario Bros. The group stopped and listened for the music. Seconds later, a ghostly music box floated toward them as the music grew louder.
"S-stop i-it…" Luigi mumbled. "P-please, m-music…"
The music box hovered in front for a few seconds and floated off to the right, disappearing into the wall. The music faded away at the same time.
"Okay," Mario sighed with relief. "How's everyone holding up?"
Alex laid his hand on his heart, which was pounding fast.
"My heart's beating fast," Alex said quietly.
"Mine too," Yoshi added in. Mario checked his pulse, which also pounded quickly. He pointed straight, signaling everyone to resume walking. Alex held his flashlight forward. The group approached a left turn in the hallway and saw another door in front.
"If there are some Boos behind that door, take the spell and Magic Mushrooms out," Mario instructed Alex, who nodded in response. Yoshi turned the knob slowly and opened the door.
The next room had a narrow walkway at the left wall with a giant abyss at the bottom. Alex laid his back against the wall and inched sideways with Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi following him.
Suddenly, a distant cackling sounded, stopping the group again. They knew some Boos were nearby.
"That's them," Alex whispered. His hands were starting to shake from the tension building up. Mario and friends resumed inching down the walkway and reached a big platform with a staircase on the right.
"I-I d-don't…w-want t-to go d-downstairs…" Luigi trembled. He started to tear up due to his rising anxiety.
"It's okay, bro," Mario reassured Luigi. A moment later, a ghostly crown resembling Peach's crown floated toward the group and made a right. A ghostly wedding gown and slippers followed the crown.
"What are they?" Yoshi asked quietly.
"I don't know," Alex replied. "Let's go downstairs."
As Mario and friends started downstairs, more cackling echoed in the distance, but they disregarded the cackles. Due to Luigi's extreme nervousness, it took more than a minute to reach the end of the stairs.
Alex pointed his flashlight up only to see no ceiling; it appeared as if he was in an open field without the Moon or stars shining above. The path branched left again, leading to another wood door. Yoshi opened it and went inside first; Luigi, Alex, and Mario followed suit.
Suddenly, the door slammed shut, startling Mario and friends and causing them to scream briefly. The door then locked itself.
Before anyone could say anything, a familiar voice called out happily, "Oh, Mario!"
"N-no… I-it's not…P-Princess P-Peach…" Mario stammered. By now, he was getting just as scared as Luigi.
"Do you want some of my Special Strawberry Cake? Hehehe!" Peach's voice giggled. "I know it's your favorite."
Just as Alex began to walk forward and find a way out, his flashlight turned off by itself.
"Oh no…" Alex murmured. The group stood still, not knowing what to do.
"AAAAAAIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!"
What appeared to be Peach in a transparent form jumped forward, scaring Alex, the Mario Bros, and Yoshi. They fell on their backs, screaming with terror.
Suddenly, the group found themselves floating through a white void, but were unable to see each other; they each appeared to be flying solo.
For Alex, he could barely hear the music that played while Shadow Mario stole FLUDD as Mario was about to enter a secret course in Super Mario Sunshine.
His surroundings cut to black for a moment and he reappeared on a white platform with a cannon on the front end and a podium on the top center side. There was a red button and two red arrows pointing left and right on the podium.
Before Alex could approach the podium, Luigi and Yoshi appeared on the platform too.
"Luigi! Yoshi!" Alex exclaimed.
"Oh, Alex! Thank goodness you're okay!" Yoshi responded. "I was afraid for my life back there."
"Me too." Alex turned to Luigi. "You okay, Luigi?"
"Kind of," Luigi replied; he had calmed down a bit following the jumpscare. "But what happened-" Suddenly, Luigi noticed Mario was nowhere in sight. "MARIO!"
"What?" Alex asked.
"MARIO'S NOT HERE!"
Alex and Yoshi became surprised and hurried around the platform to find Mario, but they still didn't see him.
"I think he got kidnapped!" Yoshi said. "So, how are gonna find and free him?"
Before Luigi or Alex could answer, four bass notes started playing from above and started looping over and over. Then, five straight lines of five Boos appeared in front.
Luigi screamed and fell on his bottom while Alex and Yoshi simply flinched. Alex pulled Luigi on his feet.
Luigi took a few seconds to look at the podium and the Boos and realized what was happening. He remembered playing his favorite arcade game Space Invaders, but felt scared instead of excited.
"N-no! I d-don't h-have time…f-for B-Boo Invaders!"
"Alex, get the spell ready," Yoshi instructed Alex. "I'll try to play this so-called game." He went up to the podium and began shooting the Boos one by one.
Meanwhile, Alex took out all six Magic Mushrooms and the parchment with the spell written on it. He reflected on what order the Magic Mushrooms were collected in and arranged them in a straight line on the parchment: black, green, orange, blue, yellow, and red.
He made sure the spell was visible enough to be read clearly.
"Um… 'Eeny, meeny, miny, moe-'"
A siren interrupted Alex reciting the spell, signaling a UFO approaching from the back left. Luckily, Yoshi was able to shoot the UFO down. At this point, the first line of Boos were shot down.
Alex started reading the spell over again, "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe. Send the Boos where they should go!'"
Alex anticipated the Boos to disappear, but instead, the bass notes started playing faster and the Boos began to close in on the platform.
"Why isn't it working?" Alex asked himself. He gazed at the Magic Mushrooms and parchment for a brief second before looking at the Boos again. The second line was gone with Yoshi shooting the third line.
"Should I say it faster or louder?"
"Y-you g-got the s-spell…A-Alex?" Luigi stammered.
"Yes! I'm trying to say the spell, but it's not working!"
"T-try a-again!"
Alex decided to say the spell faster and raise his voice. Unfortunately, the bass notes played even faster and the Boos also sped up, making everyone tense.
"Why?! The spell's supposed to defeat the Boos! Not tell them to move faster!" Alex cried.
"I'm almost there, Alex!" Yoshi shouted. He was now on the fourth line, which was halfway gone. Another UFO came into view, but Yoshi missed it.
All Alex could do was watch Yoshi play the rest of the game successfully. The bass notes stopped playing and everything went silent.
"Whew! It's finally done," Yoshi sighed with relief. "Why didn't the Magic Mushrooms defeat the Boos?"
"I don't know!" Alex answered with irritation as he put the Magic Mushrooms and spell back in the pouch. Suddenly, the platform and podium turned black, making it look like the group was hovering in midair.
"Don't move!" Yoshi ordered Luigi and Yoshi in a lower tone of voice. For a few seconds, no one moved a muscle or said anything.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
A Big Boo flew forward, screaming really loud; Luigi, Yoshi, Alex shrieked with fright and fell backward. Right as they landed on their bottoms, they started flying through another white void by themselves.
"What's happening?!" Alex yelled while the pre-secret course music played again. "Where are you, Mario?!"
After a few more seconds, everything went black again. Alex found himself in the lobby of a dark and abandoned version of Peach's Castle from Super Mario 64. Yoshi appeared next to him a moment later.
Both expected Luigi and/or Mario to reappear with them, but nothing else happened. Alex and Yoshi became shocked again.
"Now Luigi's gone too?!" Yoshi asked with despair. "Who's going to disappear next?! Me or you?!"
"I don't wanna know!" Alex answered loudly. Suddenly, a music box version of "Inside the Castle Walls" started playing from above, creeping Alex and Yoshi out.
"Turn on your flashlight!" Yoshi told Alex, who tried to turn his flashlight on again. But no matter how many times Alex pushed the On/Off button, the flashlight didn't light up.
"I thought I put a new battery in here before I went to Mario's Pad! Why is it broken?!"
"Alex, calm down," Yoshi said. "The best we can do is try to find wherever Mario and Luigi are locked up in."
"Okay." Alex took a few deep breaths before he and Yoshi started exploring the castle. They checked where the first four painting worlds were located; the paintings were rock solid.
Next, they went upstairs and looked in the room with the three Peach murals; they found nothing inside. The music continued to play, but started getting quieter.
Back in the lobby, Alex tried the door leading to the second floor, but it was locked just as it was at the start of Super Mario 64.
"Of course this door is locked," Alex remarked before turning to the Big Star Door on his left. "Are they in the Dark World?"
"Let's go see," Yoshi said. Usually, the Big Star Door would open automatically if someone stood in front of it, but the door stayed closed. Luckily, Alex was able to push one of the door halves open.
Instead of the long hallway with the painting of Peach and Bowser's faces, Alex and Yoshi entered a pitch-black room with nothing in it. The Big Star Door suddenly vanished behind them. The music also stopped playing.
"Not again…" Alex murmured; the sound of silence stood in the air for now.
"YYYYAAAAAAAHHH!"
Mario's head from Mario Teaches Typing flew forward, screaming with its mouth wide open. It appeared to eat Alex and Yoshi as they shrieked again. Both started going through another white void by themselves, but there was no music playing this time.
Alex braced himself, anticipating him getting locked up in a dungeon cell. To his relief, Alex reappeared in the middle of a large room with a red carpeted floor, gold walls, and a dark yellow ceiling. The floor branched into four paths similar to a cross, leading to four different orange doors. There were two chandeliers hanging above each path.
Alex waited for Yoshi to reappear next to him, but he continued to stand alone by himself.
"YOSHI! NO!" Alex yelled, having realized Yoshi was gone too. "Now I have to rescue all three of them!"
Alex spun around slowly, looking at all four doors. He tried to figure out where Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi were being held captive.
"Where on Earth are they?"
