"Good morning sweetie, Ra is up in the sky and ready to take you as his son my dear Yugi." I wake my sweet little angel up.
Yugi wakes up, his eyes shine in fear, "Atem?" He asks with a shiver in his voice, "What if they don't accept me?"
"Sweetie, then we still getting married, but if they didn't accept you, then they didn't accept you to save my life, and I think you would do amazing."
"When do they make me prince also?"
"The day we are getting married sweetie, after we said yes they crown you as prince."
It was a request from me to crown him the same day as our marriage, Yugi is already freaking out over the fact he is getting baptised today, and in a month we getting married, father wanted him become prince a month after our wedding.
I saw Yugi's autism kicking in and asked father if the coronation could be the same date when he was getting baptised, that wasn't possible, Yugi needed to be married with a prince or king to accomplice that one, so that's when father decided to do it the day of our marriage.
"Thank you Atem." He says his eyes calm now.
"I must go now sweetie, the servants will come soon to help you bathe and get dressed."
"Do they have to help me?"
"Yes sweetie, and they need to help you also when we get married. It's tradition."
"Do they wash and dress you also?"
"Yes, and believe me love, I also don't like this, but I'm glad they don't separate us the night before our wedding, they only don't allow us to have sex until we getting married."
"Why? And is that the reason we have a guard in our room at night?"
"It's that or not sleep together sweetie, and after our marriage the guard stays outside." I smile.

Two hours later I'm standing in the church, I'm also a bit nervous, I never witnessed a adult baptised before, and now I'm the one guiding Yugi towards the priest, and somehow I don't want to do that, it supposed to be the task from the parents, not the lover.
I look up, his mom and the other family members walk in, I see his mom, looking towards the priest and he bends over, and whispers . "Let her do it, it would be a special surprise for him."
I nod.
The servants who took care of Yugi guide him in, I walk towards him, he takes my hand and I guide him towards his mom.
Everybody gets quiet and I open my mouth and start to speak.
"I Prince Atem Yami Sennen, wish you Akiko Muto the honour of guiding your son Yugi Muto towards the priest who will baptise him in the name of the almighty God! Do you accept this task?"
His mom looks surprised and then she speaks up.
"I Akiko Muto accept the task you give me to guide my son Yugi Muto towards the priest, thank you my Prince."
She takes over Yugi his hand and together they walk towards the priest.
"Akiko Muto, do you accept that we take away the name that was given to your son and baptise him in the name of the Lord with new names!"
"I do..." she falls silent for a moment, and the priest nods towards her. She takes a deep breath and says then, "I do accept for you to take away my sons name in order to give him new names in the name of the almighty god!"
"Then step back and let the ceremony begin!" the priest says.
I wave Akiko over to stand next to me, she closes in on me, I smile I feel somehow she wants comfort, softly I slide my hand in hers, she looks down (yes she is larger then me, no idea from who Yugi is so small) smiles and squeezes my hand softly, and during the ceremony we keep holding hands. Forming a silent bond together.
The priest is saying a prayer, and next he says. "Here by I take away the names of this young man, and rename him in the name of the gods Yugi Hikari Muto!"
He lays his hand on Yugi's head and softly guides him under water, while under the water I feel a strange but nice warmth going towards my body.
After a few seconds he pulls Yugi up. "Rise my son!"
Yugi bows the priest start to pray to the gods again, I wave Yugi over.
"Congratulations sweetie, you are now a son of God." I whisper in his ear.
"Atem, the water it was cold at first, but then when the priest pushed me under, it became nice and warm, is that normal?"
"I don't know sweetie, we talk with the priest at the celebration. But now I need to rest, I'm tired I say, and tonight we have a party we need to attend to."
"I go with you, rest would help me also." he indeed looks a bit tired.
That evening we all gather in the ball room, Yugi and I see the priest and he calls us over. "Ah my son, how do you feel?" He asks Yugi.
"A bit overwhelmed I think."
"I can believe that, I must say I never witnessed something like what today happened before."
"So it wasn't normal?" I ask.
"No it wasn't, but no fear my prince, the gods accepted Yugi as their son."
"Can you also explain why I felt warmth at the same time as Yugi did?" I ask.
"I noticed sooner, but when did you start noticing Yugi's emotions?"

First the meeting with my father and Yugi's mother, then the meeting with the priest, Mana and I have after throne duty, but the last Mana claims, she sees I'm having a off day, and therefore I'm glad.
"Good morning you two." father says if we walk in.
He looks closely, "Atem I want you to take a rest today."
"I will father, after we went to the priest."
"Good, Yugi I how are you feeling son?"
"Tired dad, and still overwhelmed."
Father and Yugi became friends when he forgave Yugi, Yugi told me after that my father is more of a dad for him then his own dad was, I see father patting his lap and Yugi climbs in. I smile but also feel a bit jealous. Next he sees me looking, pads his other knee, and like a little boy I obey and climb in also.
I lay my head in the crook of his neck, I'm so tired I almost fall asleep, dad softly hums a song, like he missed having me in his lap, after 30 minutes cuddling with dad we climb out his lap and take a seat in a stool, Yugi's mam walks in.
"Ah Akiko, you look nice today, how are you feeling?"
"I feel fine pharaoh, thank you." She says and gives Yugi a hug and a kiss before taking a seat.
"Akiko, Atem told me you are willing to leave your life behind in the Netherlands and want to work here in the kitchen?"
"That's true Pharaoh, but it is also a way to bond with my son again, I missed him the past three years and hate what his father and I did to make him suffer like this so much."
"I understand, our cook needs a new assistant chef, I'm willing to let you work in the kitchen, once a week you go to school for your Arabic and Egyptian language and cooking class, the chef keeps me updated once a month. Also, you take once a week off to bond not only with Yugi, but also with Atem, what I saw yesterday when you stood next to Atem filled my heart, and the both of you need more of those." Father smiles.
"Thank you my pharaoh."
"Thank you father." I say.
"Thank you dad, for giving my mom also a second chance."
"Akiko, your first day starts tomorrow, when Atem and Yugi had their meeting with the priest I want the three of you hang out together, but make sure they rest also today."
The three of us stand, and bow, father waves us off.
"YOU WANT WHAT!!!"
Yugi shrunk himself to a little ball, I'm beyond mad.
"NO I WON'T ACCEPT, THAT IS MORBID! AND YOU KNOW IT!"
"But my prince, Yugi told himself he also wanted to feel your emotions, and this is the only possible way."
"And what if it brings Yugi back to his past." I ask with a dangerous low voice.

"I'm sorry my prince, Yugi is safe and shall return shortly, but first I want you to listen carefully. Yugi wants to know your emotions as well, and I know he won't go back to his old habit, I will protect him for that."
I go down to my knees, it's a god, and even if I have royal blood, I must respect them.
"But it still is morbid!" I speak up
"Rise Atem! And it's a will the almighty gods want for the both of you to consider!" the god says and I stand.
"Fine, I will discussed it with Yugi! Can I please have him back now!"
"Certainly my prince, now go, you have a appointment with your mother in law."
I bow, and see my sweetie return.
Day before the wedding;
I'm at the moment in the my and Yugi's study room, and am still thinking about the conversation what I had a month ago with the priest, with al the preparations I didn't had much time to think about it. If A insecure emotion is hitting me, and I know it's not coming from me. Yugi walks in, his mam holds his hand, softly whispering words in his ear.
"Hey sweetie, what's wrong?" I ask worried, I hope he isn't getting sick.
"He feels insecure Honey, I think you need to comfort him in a way only you know." She says.
Yes his mam is calling me honey also now, our bond is growing and we enjoy the moments we have with her, and sometimes I claim her for myself, and tell about the adventures Yugi and I had together, I also secretly am setting her up to date the chef, because he is in love with her.
Mam walks out and I pull Yugi in my lap. "Now my sweetie, what is making you insecure?"
"Why..?"
"Why...?" I ask.
"Why... do you... love me?"
I take a deep sigh, smile and cub his face in my hand. "Why you ask?" He nods. "Let's see." I say softly and look at him closely.
"Because you are the most sweet and kind man I have ever met, you made me a better man, I didn't even know it was possible to find such a lovely person like you, you have a beautiful crown of hair on your head and sometimes with the most cutest ears, I say wile I lay my hand on his head and slowly guide it down, and with those beautiful hair you have the most intelligent bright amethyst with blue sparkles eyes a man only could wish for to have them, you have a cute pert little nose, what is very kissable" I say and press my lips on his nose, he giggles softly.
"And your lips are to kill someone if he dares to touch them besides me." I say and kiss him on his lips, "You have the most amazing body, smooth and nice curved with a bit of baby fat but very sensitive and o so lovable for me, and the same counts when you are in Neko form, then you have a lovely fluffed tail, and your teeth are cute to look at."
I see the sparkles returning in his eyes, and the insecure feeling is fading. "There is my sweetie again, do you feel better now?" I ask.
"Yes, thank you daddy, he whispers and cuddles against me."
"I love you sweetie." I say softly, "For ever and always." I say and kiss his head.
Day of the wedding;
"Good morning my sweetie, Ra is awake and is shining brightly on our special day."
Softly I place a kiss on Yugi's lips while saying those words. He mesmerising eyes flutter open and he sits up. He yawns and stretches his body. He looks well rested, my little talk yesterday did him visibly good, we stayed in the study and just cuddled together until I heard him softly snoring.
Father tried to train Yugi from being a night without me, but when Yugi desperately grabbed the knife and pushed it against his wrist, he also saw that Yugi and I needed to break the tradition of not seeing him the night before the wedding, if we didn't want to start with a bloody mess.
"Good morning daddy." he says after he stretched his body.
"I must be going now sweetie, I love you." I say.
"I love you to." he says and with a last kiss I walk out and walk over to Mana's room, where she and Mahad take care of me. Yugi is in the good care of Isis and Shada.
"Good morning Atem, ready to beautify?" Mana says exited.
"Is that even possible? I mean I already look like a God." I joke.
"Yeah right the god of the beasts."
"Ah, ah, Cats to be precisely." I smirk and wiggle my finger.
"Will you two stop bickering, I take Heba to mom and when I get back I hope you are already busy with him Mana!"
Mana and I look at Mahad, share our devilish look and I tackle him, I change into Neko and lick his cheek, "Jeez, Mahad, I almost have the feeling you are pregnant with the mood swings." I joke.
"Why thank you my prince, would you like to taste my mood?" He asks with a devilish look in his eyes.
"And what if I do?" I challenge him.
"Then Yugi would be upset at you for cheating on your wedding day, so if you don't want that you get your ass off me and starts getting ready."
"Party poop." I scowl and jump off.
Heba runs towards me and starts pulling my tail.
"Ow hey you little devil" I fake shout and catch him, in a second he hangs upside down and is laughing loudly.
Then I lift him in my arms and start running around with him above my head, he spreads his arms and yells loudly. "Wheeeeeeeee."
"Okay you two break it up, Heba grandmother is waiting for you, and your uncle must get ready or he misses his own wedding."
I give Heba a hug and whisper softly in his ear, "I think mommy needs to give you a little sister or brother to make daddy happy!" And hand him over at Mahad.
I feel strange, like something is about to happen, and it's my own emotion, I hope everything goes well today.
I'm wearing a pure white shendyt, a golden belt and a variety of golden bracelets ankle belts and a golden choker, my rainbow piercing is removed and replaced for a golden, but only for today, I wear a red cape and have my crown on my head, my hair is the same untenable mess like always. What I find strange is that I only have my right wristband around my wrist the left one lays safely in Seth's arms who is my best man.
While waiting for my sweet little Yugi, the priest already steps in, then the music starts, I slowly turn and gasp for breath, Simi and Heba both flowering the path, and then Yugi and his mom stepping in, slowly they walk towards me.
Yugi wears a pure white shendyt on knee length, pure white slippers and cute white socks, I smile, Yugi hates it when he gets bear footed in shoes, the shendyt is hold on his place by a silver mixed with golden belt, his arm and ankle belts are also a mix golden silver, his piercing is replaced for a silver one, we choose for the silver and gold theme for Yugi because it looked better on him then pure gold, a white rope waves behind him, his hair does his own thing like always, he isn't wearing a crown, Yugi wears only his left wristband, and Mahad who is his best man, carry his.
Yugi and his mom are now standing in front of me, she gives me a warning by wiggling her finger, the audience all laughs, next she bends a bid, kisses Yugi on his cheeks and hands him over to me
"Let us begin the priest says."
We says out vows, slide the rings at the finger, and then the priests take both a knife.
"What! Wait I didn't agree?" I ask.
"But I did Atem." Yugi whispers, "Please I also want to know your emotions." Yugi pleads, And then he pulled out the meanest trick in the history books, the trick I didn't see him using for a long time, the trick I only see when Heba and Simi want something...

I melt when I see those, and I let out the. I give sight.
One priest takes Yugi's left wrist and the other takes my right wrist, I feel the knife pressing against my skin and hiss when I feel the blade sliding my skin open.
Next the priest placed our wrists at each other, I feel his blood going in my bloodstream, and I feel myself turning warm, the bonding ritual worked.
"A ritual we didn't do in a long time, but we know these two men belong to each other, by the sun God Ra who shines above us all, and the gods who are watching us by this ritual, I pronounce you husband and husband."
But before I can kiss my Yugi he needs to be crowned, the head priest shouts, "Yugi Hikari Sennen bow to your knees."
Yugi does as he says.
"Atem Yami Sennen, bow to your knees."
I also follow the instruction.
The priests starts to pray, and we keep our head down, then we hear the priest say. "Look up prince Atem! Are you willing to guide Yugi in his role as prince as you are in his role as husband, when he has trouble and needs guidance?"
"Yes, I'm willing to guide Yugi not only as my husband but also in his role as prince, I am willing to give him advice, and I'm willing to take over when his task is getting to much for him!"
"Then rise Prince Atem."
I do as he says, and walk towards Mana who holds a cushion, I look at the item on the cushion and take it carefully in my hands.
Next I walk to the head priest and hand him the beautiful object.
"Look up my son." He says towards Yugi, and Yugi looks up, determination is to be seen in his eyes, he really is ready for this task.
"Yugi Hikari Sennen, are you willing to take this crown, accept it when prince Atem guides you and loves you not only as his husband but also as his prince?"
A short moment from insecurity is to be seen in his eyes, he takes a deep breath and says then with a secure voice.
"Yes I Yugi Hikari Sennen am willing to take guides from my beloved husband prince Atem, and do also my task as prince in this palace!"
"Then I hereby I pronounce to you all, Prince Yugi Hikari Sennen, prince of Egypt." He place the crown on Yugi's head and says. "Rise my prince!"
Yugi stands and I take his hand, "You may kiss your husband." the priest says.
And we start a sweet loving but passionate kiss.
Next we go to the balcony where Yugi gets introduced towards the people of Egypt and then we go to the ballroom where we party and dance the night away.
At some point Yugi whispers to look over toward mama, she is passionately kissing the chef, and I didn't do nothing.
The party is nearing his end, the guests going home or to their assigned rooms.
We had a great time, and were utterly surprised when the whole Rainbow Love Lunchroom crew walked in, they all looked good, and what surprises us is that they also are married, they missed us during their weddings, but due to me being in the hospital they understand. Mom however made sure they recieved a wedding gift on our names.
It was Duke who told us that Yugi's father killed himself, he jumped of the Rainbow Love Lunchroom building and snapped his neck during the fall.
The lunchroom sadly was given bad publicity by that and Duke needed to close.
I see father looking and he waves to Duke, they head to the study of dad's, I somehow have the feeling Duke is getting into business as we speak.
Ryou sniffles a bit, has a thinking face and says then, "The two of you are inmortal."
"I've beg your pardon?" Yugi and I say in unison.
"The two of you shared blood didn't you?"
"Yeah?.." we say in unison.
"If a Neko and a human share blood, the human only gets the feelings from a neko, but when two neko's share blood, they become immortal. Atem, I didn't know you where Neko?"
"I wasn't, until last year, Yugi's blood was needed to save my life, since then I'm also Neko."
"That explains."
"But Ryou Does that mean we can't die?"
"Only if you choose for it Yugi, then you start ageing and die when the time is there, but now is not the time to think about that, I believe you are going to have your wedding night."
