#020 – Raticate
Demolition Dudes
It was time for the skyscraper to be brought to its knees, so the demolition crew were called in. The gentlemen turned on their Raticates and used them to chew away at the walls and pillars of the skyscraper, slowly working their way down from the top. All was going as expected until the new fella showed up, an hour late. He had some trouble trying to turn on his Raticate. He kept tugging its tail but all it produced was a cough. His energy spent and the Raticate still inactive, the newbie vented his frustration by kicking the Pokémon into one of the main structural beams. The Raticate's Hyper Fang destroyed the bottom of the beam, causing the entire skyscraper to fall onto the street. Fortunately, the only casualties were the newbie and a rare candy dealer who happened to be standing there. The demolition crew landed safely by using professional acrobatics. They shut off their Raticates and went down to the SS Anne bar for the rest of the day, even though it was still early morning.
