"And that's how I dreamed to be a ranger and how I became one," Erwin finished proudly.

"That's great! Who knew that the training was brutal! Right Levi?"

"What?" Levi asked, completely dazed.

Joing the journey with Erwin Smith was not bad, it was terrible! Levi decided to travel in between the two Alphas. One, if Erwin noticed something going with Eren, Levi will claw the blonde's face and two, to keep an eye on him. Both reasons were similar alright but it's for the best. Then he regretted that decision because as once they travelled out of town, Erwin started talking the raven's ear out.

It started with his boring rich ass childhood and how he was having a hard time during the training because he grew up with a silver spoon on his mouth. How his mother embarrassed him when she visited her 'baby boy' during training and how he almost break every bone in his body on his first mission as a ranger and fucking finally, how be earned the title 'commander'. Levi just summarized Erwin's three hour life story and he hated himself because this just proved that the raven was listening.

"Levi," Eren called out again, leaning on Titan to whisper at him. "Say something and be nice."

"Ugh," Levi rolled his eyes at him before turning to Erwin. "Yes, it's a great story."

"Thank you guys!" Erwin cheered. "Now, I'll tell you guys how I encounter Rouge-"

"-I guess, that's enough story time." Levi cuts in. Not that he was worried of hearing how Eren cut off his arm but he really needed some peace and quiet after three hours of listening to the blonde Alpha's buzzing voice.

"I'll gladly listen," Eren added.

Levi snapped at him, glaring daggers at him. "Oh, look the sun, it's setting. Shouldn't we start preparing dinner?" He raise a brow at his mate.

Eren audibly gulped. "Sure, honey!"

"Don't call me that," Levi hissed under his breath.

"Umm... I think Levi is right," Erwin interfered. "Are you guys okay with the location?"

Levi glanced at the field next to the road, it was flat with fresh green grass and minimal shrubs which concluded, less possibility that snakes can crawl in and bite his toes. Plus, there was a steady stream below the meadow where they can get some water. Maybe this was a good spot for a camp.

"Your choice, honey~" Eren teased next to him.

"This spot will do," Levi guided Green Tea to the field. If Eren call him honey again, he'll surely punched the brunette.

"Alright, let's get to work!" Erwin beamed, making Levi wondered if this was the giant blonde's first time camping out.

"I'll built the fire," Eren jumped off of Titan, tying down the black stallion and helped his mate off of his horse before he bolted to gathering firewood in the nearby grove.

Now that Levi was off his horse, he looked for a spot to sleep in. Before the sun fully set, the raven picked a spot. It was much flatter then most area, however, there are flowers growing on it, leaving him no choice but to pluck each and one of it. This caught Erwin's attention.

Levi was on his hands in knees when Erwin came in with an innocent smile. "Hi, so... Why are you picking the flowers? They all look beautiful."

Levi sighed and looked back at him. "Eren is allergic to pollen."

"Oh, I see. Umm... Allow me help you," The blonde offered.

"No, it's alright. I can handle this, why don't you prepare yourself dinner." Levi suggested as he pulled some of the long weeds along with the flowers.

"Actually, I bought a casserole from the restaurant back at town and I was hoping that... maybe we can share?" Erwin offered sheeply.

"A casserole?" Levi paused from his work and properly look up at Erwin.

"Ah, yes. The lady was really nice she gave me too much for me to eat."

Levi give it a deep thought. It's really nice though, Eren and him will have free food for their first day. Maybe Erwin was not that bad after all. "Thank you Erwin, I'll inform Eren about so that he'll heat it up."

"Great!"

"What's great?" Eren asked as he approached them, a pile of firewood in his arms.

"Erwin is sharing his casserole with us," Levi informed as he goes back to work. "Please heat it up, I'll set out the beds."

"Thanks Erwin! That's nice of you!"

"Oh, please. It's my pleasure. Let me help you," Erwin offered this time, Eren accepted it wholeheartedly.

As the fire started burning and the casserole gradually heat up, Erwin pulled out his blanket and set it near the fire for them to sit on. By they time both Alpha settled on the blanket, the stars appeared in the sky.

"Today's travel went so well, right?" Eren started as he gets comfortable on the blanket. "We covered a few miles."

"Right." Erwin agreed. He took a glance at the raven Omega who was busy setting up their beds, then he turned to the brunette. "Eren, can I ask you something?"

"Sure," Eren shrugged.

"I heard from Isabelle that you and your mate eloped. Is that true?"

"I wasn't my decision. Levi choose to follow me. I didn't force him instead, I gave him a choice but you can say that," Eren confirmed.

"What does it feel like?"

"You got to be specific there Erwin."

"I mean, ever since I was a child," Erwin looked up at the starry night. "I always followed the rules and when I grew up I served the law. What is it like to break it?"

Eren blinked at him. Surprised that all of the topics, that's what he was thinking about. But to be fair, it was obvious how obedient the blonde Alpha was. "Well, honestly, it is very thrilling."

"How so?" Erwin asked curiously.

"Because it makes you feel... free." Eren pondered. "It's alright to be selfish sometimes. You know, Levi grew up with strict parents. He's been following his parents ever since, he's doing it for his them but this time, he decided to break their rules because..." Eren glanced at his mate, ever so lovingly. "Because he decided choose himself."

"I see..." Erwin whispered. "Eren, when you said that, I hope you'll understand what I'm going to say... You know man to man talk-something like that..."

"Alright?"

"Perhaps Levi already told you that I'm travelling to west because..."

"You are going to visit the entertainment house," Eren smirked, making the blonde Alpha panic with his face turning red. Levi already told him before they left the town that there was a possibility that Erwin was going to Eren's home town.

"Well, yeah... You see... ummm... I don't have a mate... and I was thinking that I'm missing out... so, you know..." Erwin mumbled.

"Erwin, look. I understand. You shouldn't be ashamed of it. Let's just say, that is a reward for yourself," Eren suggested. He completely undertood the blonde, before he met Levi and in his younger years, Eren have fun. A lot. One night stands, hook ups, flirting with every consorts. It was fun and all but he only felt loved and wanted with Levi. Even with all the Omegas, Betas and sometimes Alphas that Eren slept with, none of them will ever tie up with his mate.

"Right, it's okay to be selfish," Erwin inhaled.

"That's the spirit." Eren cheered.

"What did I miss?" Levi approached and fell right next to the brunette.

"Tired?" Eren asked as he wrapped the raven in his arms.

"Yes," Levi sighed. What took his energy the most was listening to fucking Erwin's lifestory.

"How about let's eat," Erwin suggested.

"Yes please!" Eren cheered. Letting go of the raven, he helped the blonde with the food.

Levi inhaled the country side fresh air as he watched the two work together. It was strange to see achenemies worked together without the latter knew who he was interacting with. But seeing Erwin comfortable with Eren's presence make Levi think that this might work out. Upon observation, Eren seems genuinely friendly with Erwin.

But one thing for sure that Levi learned a long time ago. There was no secret that has not been revealed. If that's so, then the Omega prayed that it won't happen too soon.
