Naraku still walks the Feudal of Japan, though in hiding. Seshomaru is hunting the fowl beast, along side his brother and companions. Lord Of The West, has memories of the past that haunt him, of that of a child named Kagome, There he is standing next to her returned to the past yet again, with the help of everybody help her regain her memories.

22. Chapter 22

Intentions

Sesshomaru heard his brother enter camp it was then he jumped down with Kagome in his arms, "before I begin going to hunt for food start a fire keep your guard ups." Sesshomaru knew this going to be hard to explain lucky for him Jaken went to get Izmo. To help explain this to everybody as well. Sighing it was going to be a long road ahead of him, he needed to speak to the tree soon before things started to get worse. Bringing back the boar, satisfied that they all helped prepare it. It was then he looked at the pups still eyeing there mom. "Pups eat you will need strength to eat." That was when Kagome shot up out of her deep slumber "YOU DARE DEMON TELL MY PUPS WHAT DO!" Kagome's reki was flashing wildly around them, Inuyasha had to step back for fear of getting purified, he liked the fact that she was angry and speaking but not this way. Even Sango went to Inuyasha along with Miroku. This stand off was between Sesshomaru and Kagome.

Inuyasha remembered the conversation with Sesshomaru "he wont be able to make her submit if he does Naraku wins." Sango gasp "but if he doesn't she could die." Sango wanted to cry, all the three could do was watch.

Sesshomaru had to figure way to calm his mate before it was also to late. "Kagome, do make me subdue you." It was the laugh that sent chills down his spine not in a good way. "Go to hell, I will never submit to you." Sesshomaru was smirking this was what he wanted. Never taking his eyes off his beloved.

Inuyasha watched yet again "he is baiting her, even used her real name." Inuyasha whispered. Sango thought that was good a sign until one the pups cried.

Kagome tore her eyes away for second to see that her pup was hurt. Not before saying "you step towards me and my pups I will kill you demon." In a cold voice that made Sesshomaru stop in his tracks. Placing a barrier around them, she healed her pup soothed them. Sesshomaru watched her smile that was pure he knew then that his pups would never come to him for awhile he knew that he lost them to the mom they loved. Picking them up she takes them to a field of flowers. Noticing Rin looking back at her Lord whom she missed.

Sesshomaru had his head down with tears in eyes, his mate threatened him for the first time she did not jest or kid around in a playful way she used to as child. Naraku would pay.

Inuyasha slowly approached his brother, he knew Sesshomaru needed to let lose of the pent up anger decided he was good as any. "Gather your friends they need to hear this be warned Kagome does not remember anything."

Sango wanted to follow Kagome to make sure she was okay but seeing the look at that Sesshomaru was given her that made her stay hearing laughter filling the field they knew whom the laughter was and the tiniest of giggles it was then the group finally had peace and the old Kagome back even for a little bit. Feeling content that they forgot what Sesshomaru wanted to talk about they all looked over the demon Lord himself with his eyes closed and smile that graced his face yes it was creepy but they soon were used to it.
