Chapter 26 Reunion and Crowning

It had been a day since we seen Gandalf. We were getting worried. Aragorn was pacing the throne room as I sat on the steps to the throne. Legolas and Gimli were worried but held it in as they looked at the statues. Merry and Pippin were comforting each other in the corner as Eomer came over and sat down next to me.

"Feels like I'm at a funeral." Eomer said, putting an arm around me.

"We are just worried for our friends, but it does feel like it." I said, leaning against him. Eomer sighed. Gimli was to worried to scold us. Running feet was heard and we stood up as the doors burst open.

"Lady Lilian. Gandalf requests for your help with healing the Hobbits." A guard said.

"He found them?" Aragorn asked. The guard nodded. I shared a smile with Eomer and ran to where the Hobbits were. Gandalf was with Frodo.

"They are alive, but hurt badly. Sam is in the other room." Gandalf said. I come up to Frodo. Aragorn and Eomer stood in the doorway. I lifted Frodo's hand and saw a finger was gone. I healed the would on his hand letting my hands glow. I put one to his head and healed his body.

"I'll go by Sam." I said. I head to Sam's room and healed him. Sam woke up.

"Where's Mister Frodo?" Sam asked. I smiled.

"He's still asleep in the next room. Should be waking up soon. Glad to see you alive, Sam." I said.

"Thank you Lilian." Sam said. Excited cries came and I looked out. I head towards Frodo's room as Gimli entered. I came into the door and smiled. Merry and Pippin were jumping in excitement on Frodo's bed as Gandalf laughed. Frodo was awake. He saw me and grinned.

"Lilian." Frodo said. I came over to the bed and laughed at Merry and Pippin's antics. Legolas and Aragorn enter as the Fellowship was now reunited after being seperated. Sam stood by the door. We decided to leave them alone.

A month later. Aragorn was now about to be crowned King of Gondor. Eomer was still to be crowned of Rohan but was dealing with stuff in Gondor. I stood in a Durin blue dress to represent Erebor as I brushed out my hair. A knock on the door came and Eomer came in dressed nicely. I stood up.

"Ready?" Eomer asked. I nod as I cam over. We had been going for rides and doing picnics during the month in Gondor out of Gimli's dislike. Eomer and I walked towards where the crowning was going to happen by the Tree of Kings. Eowyn stood with Faramir, who both were now courting. They stood across from us. I stood at Eomer's side as Aragorn and Gimli stood up by Gandalf. Aragorn kneels in front of Gandalf. The world of men after centuries of not having a King on the thron of Gondor, finally had a King. I smiled as Gandalf lifted the crown and put it on Aragorn's head.

"Now come the days of the King." Gandalf said. He smiles down at Aragorn and says something, no one can hear. Eomer and I join the clapping and cheering. We share a smile as we clapped. Aragorn raises his hand and everyone goes quiet.

"This day does not belong to one man but to all. Let us together rebuild this world that we may share in the days of peace." Aragorn said. The crowd cheets. I looked up at the tree as white petals begin to fall. Aragorn begins to sing. I smiled. It was an old song but I understood it.

"Out of the Great Sea to Middle Eart I am come. In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world." Aragorn sang. (AN: The translation.) Aragorn walks down the aisle and people bow. Eomer and I step forward a bit. Eomer bows and I curtsy. Aragorn gives us a smile as he walks on. I watch him go over to Legolas where the elves were and I saw Elrond with my mother's closest friend Arwen who was presented to Aragorn. I smile. Both would make a fine King and Queen as they embraced and kissed. Eomer took my hand. I smiled up at him.

"A world of peace would be nice." I said. Eomer nodded.

"It would." Eomer said. Aragorn and Arwen come up to the four hobbits. They bow to Aragorn. Aragorn steps forward.

"My friends." Aragorn said. The Hobbits looked up at Aragorn. He shook his head. "You bow to no one." Aragorn kneels before them and we all follow.

A party was thrown in the King's honor. Legolas and Gimli weren't trying to compete with a drinking contest. I stood talking with Arwen. She was an old friend of my moms and we got along.

"I'm sure your father will have a fit with Eomer, but I'm sure he will warm up eventuallly." Arwen said.

"I hope. I more worry of my many uncles. Mother will keep them in line." I said. I took a sip of my mug of ale. Eomer pushed through the crowd to me. I excused myself to go up to him.

"Care for a walk." Eomer said. I nod as I set down my finished mug. We step outside and walk across the courtyard towards where Mordor use to stand. "Soon as I am crowned King. I will escort you to Erebor to get your families approval and get your stuff." I smile up at him.

"That is fine." I said. Eomer pushed hair out of my face. I smile at him. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to my lips. I melt into his kiss as I wrap my arms around his neck. I looked foward to a future now that we had saved Middle Earth.
