Paradise: The 72nd Hunger Games

Chapter Twenty-Two

Chariot Rides

A/N: If you didn't submit a chariot outfit… prepare for the horrors of the Games to be unleashed upon you.

Peter Mallard –37- -Capitol Resident- -Head Gamemaker- POV

I sit and watch the chariots come out of the stable. The outfits are… well, we'll see. The pair from one are dressed in the same skin-tight suits of the previous two years. The girl is dressed as an ancient goddess, from the looks of it, Athena, the goddess of wisdom and wise warfare. The boy is dressed in a simple black tuxedo with a black mask over his face. Both of the Tributes from District Three are dressed in skin-tight black suits with golden wires glowing white-hot from electricity. Very fancy. The girl from Four is wearing a floor-length dress with slits on the side and a really long blue-white train. The dress changes colors from blue to green to silver depending on the light and the area of the dress, looking exactly like the ocean. The boy is wearing a suit of the same design. The girl from Five is wearing a dress with arcs of electricity coming from it and lines of electricity running down it. The boy is in a simple white button-up collar shirt, jeans, and a brown cap. The girl from Six is wearing a fancy dress like a normal Capitol citizen. The dress is shiny and blood red. She has on a red hat with a red veil over her face and rubies on her jewelry. She looks beautiful. The boy is wearing a blue striped conductor outfit with a cap and white gloves. The girl from Seven is wearing a dirty green rag of a dress that looks like the Earth with a flower crown. The boy is wearing a tree-themed blazer, jeans, and button-up shirt and has a crown of leaves resting on his head. The girl from Eight is wearing a patchwork dress that looks like it's made from many different textiles. The boy is wearing a black vest with golden buttons, a white button-down shirt, and a white cap of a hat. The girl from Nine is wearing a short dress the color of grain, with a skirt made of what appears to be individual wheat strands. The boy is wearing a suit with the shirt appearing to be made of the same wheat strands as the girl's skirt, a straw hat, and grain-colored pants. The girl from Ten is wearing a sleeveless, baby pink dress, and her hair is curled. She has a cute looking pig-ear headband, and she has a little curly tail attached to her dress. She's wearing lots of blush and pretty pink lipstick. Her stylists clearly didn't put a lot of work into her outfit, but she looks very pretty. The boy is wearing a pink button-down shirt, brown pants, and the same little ears and tail as the girl. He has pink tribal-paint on his face. The girl from Eleven is wearing a silver jumper with a golden skirt, and a straw hat on her head. The boy is wearing a golden colored suit, with the tie resembling a piece of maize. The girl from Twelve is wearing a flowing black dress that turns into red, and the boy is wearing a suit with the same design pattern. Better than last year, definitely. It's like we got some new replacement stylists. That Cinna man that I convinced the President to hire is definitely earning his pay.

A/N: So, was it as horrible as I promised? Next up is the training! Who are you betting on so far? See you all soon! Also, thanks to everyone who submitted their own outfits, although I understand those of you who said that you were bad at it too! – JStar14H
