Monday

"Suki, Suki, Sukiiiii~!" Sunny leapt onto her bed, her body bouncing against the mattress as she grinned down at her phone. The call had just connected, but Sunny's face dropped into a frown when Bakugo's picture was black. "Suki?" She cocked her head, "Why can't I see you?" Sunny asked while shaking her phone, wondering if it was her. She wasn't very good with technology.

"Er. Bad signal." Came his grunt of a reply.

Sunny jutted her bottom lip out, smelling out his stink of a lie immediately, "What's wrong? Has something happened to your face?" Her eyes suddenly bugged out in panic, "Oh no! Are you okay?"

"Shut up, I'm fine!" He barked back. Sunny heard rustling on his end as he fidgeted about, and suddenly he moved what she could only assume was his thumb off the camera.

Sunny squinted and frowned, "Why is it so dark?" Usually, she could see in the dark, but apparently not through a phone screen.

"The lights off."

Sunny continued to frown, "Then put the light on, you turd."

"Don't call me a turd if you want me to do something," He snapped back.

Through the darkness, Sunny could just about make out the shape of his face. His red eyes caught what little light there was and flashed warningly. She began, piece by piece pulling together his outline to make sense of his silhouette.

"Where's your hair gone?" She suddenly asked, peering at his round head, absent of his usual explosive spikes.

She heard Bakugo make a strangled grunt, "What are you on about?" He huffed, "I just got out the shower- stop looking at me like that, you look like a thumb from this angle!"

Sunny had laid her phone flat against the bed and was examining the screen. She didn't believe him. She had seen him when he'd come straight out the shower before, and even then, his hair was all over the place – albeit floppy.

"Turn the light on." She demanded, picking her phone up once more.

"No."

"What's happened?" Sunny pouted again, pupils blown large in the way Bakugo hated.

"Stop pulling that face," He grunted. Sunny heard more rustling. "Stop it."

"Let me see your cute faceee~" She whined, rolling onto her back, and holding the phone over her face. She promptly dropped it and smacked herself right in the nose with a loud wail.

"You're a fucking mess," She heard Bakugo grumble from the bed beside her, where her phone lay discarded while she nursed her throbbing nose. "Also…" He trailed off, his voice suddenly lower and catching Sunny's attention, "Are you naked?"

Sunny suddenly grabbed her phone and held it up like before, but this time with a much tighter grip, "Oh," She teased, brow quirked, "Wouldn't you like to know?"

She wasn't naked. She was just wearing a bandeau top and cycling shorts, although from the angle and camera position it did indeed look like she was topless. But he didn't need to know that.

There was a pause, "Let me see." He suddenly demanded.

"Let me see your face first," Sunny quipped back.

Immediately, there was even more rustling as Bakugo leant over and switched on a light. Straight away the picture was illuminated with a soft, warm, yellow glow from a nearby bedside light.

But Sunny's frown only deepened. Bakugo seemed to be laying in bed from what she could see of a thick white duvet covering him from the chest down, just visible at the bottom of the screen and the cream, hotel headboard behind him.

But it wasn't the décor Sunny was frowning at, in fact, she was frowning at the fact she could only see Bakugo's face from the chin down.

"As much as I like your boobies, Suki," Sunny huffed, "I want to see your face."

She watched closely as Bakugo's lips came into view with a scowl, "If you laugh, I'll fucking kill you."

"Why would I laugh?" She cocked her head to the side, interest peaked, "I promise you I won't." She added quickly.

Bakugo began to shuffle around on the camera, sitting up slightly and muttering something to himself that sounded suspiciously like 'I better see some boobs for this'.

And then, suddenly, his grumpy face came into view.

It took Sunny a hot minute to process what she was looking at. It was Bakugo… right? Yes. Definitely. That glower and handsome face was unmistakeable. Those red eyes were penetrating the phone camera, almost daring Sunny to laugh at… his haircut.

"Is…" Sunny choked a little on her words as she failed to think straight. Bakugo said nothing, but his scowl hardened threateningly.

"Is that a bowl cut?" She finally stumbled out. Immediately Bakugo's face shrivelled right up menacingly, his eyes turning white and practically vibrating straight off his face for barely a split second before he disconnected the call.

Sunny let out a howl, wheezing as she began to roll around her bed.

It was Monday night, the evening after their first day of work experience. Sunny was still in her apartment and would be until Wednesday daytime, where she would then travel somewhere else to do two nights with Midnight – which she was absolutely stoked for.

However, Bakugo was somewhere in the Tokyo area with Best Jeanist. Apparently, his first day had been far more interesting than hers had been.

It took Sunny a few moments to calm down, and with choked breath, she grabbed her phone again as it once again lay discarded on the duvet.

She tried to call Bakugo again twice, both times he rejected her call immediately.

Sunny cried out again, laughing and wincing as she tried to stifle herself.

Then she received a text from the blond:

Booby Blaster:

You're a fucking bitch.

Sunny wheezed again and quickly tapped out a reply.

Sunny:

A few moments later, Sunny's phone started to ring with an invitation for a video chat. She grinned and immediately accepted. Bakugo's irritated face soon returned to Sunny's screen.

"I actually really like it," She told him, cocking her head to the side again to peer at him from another angle.

He huffed and clicked his tongue, looking away from her he responded, "Shut it. I don't need your approval."

"Then why did you hang up?"

Bakugo swung his gaze back to her, noticing Sunny's smug smirk his rage burned hotter. Unfortunately, this heat went straight to his cheeks and he quickly looked away again with a 'tsk!'.

"I take it your first day was good then?" Sunny teased, unable to take her eyes of that shiny blond hair. She actually really liked it. When his face wasn't so cross looking, it looked a lot older, softer and more mature… Dare she say dashing?

Quickly she dunked her head out of the view of the camera, covering herself with a fake cough to hide the heat rising to her cheeks.

"Shut it," He grumbled, obviously missing her brief fluster. "I also have to wear these stupid blue jeans. It sucks."

Immediately Sunny popped back up again, ears high with anticipation, "Blue jeans?" She repeated excitedly. Her eyes could have rolled into the back of her head at the thought of him strutting around in a pair of tight blue jeans.

That tiny waist and that arse – ooft!

"Oi!" Bakugo's cranky voice snapped her back to reality as she zoned out imagining his butt.

"Put them on?" She asked excitedly, "Let me see!"

Bakugo didn't miss her tone this time, and his mouth slid into a smirk, "Oh?" His face turned smug, "Maybe if you're a good girl I'll send you a picture later."

Oh god, his voice was doing that thing again. That super low, super raspy voice that immediately got her all hot and bothered. By the look on Bakugo's face, he knew that too, and his smirk broadened, flashing a few teeth.

"Besides," He huffed a little, shuffling back into his pillows to get himself comfortable. He raised his free hand and rested it behind his head. He flexed his thick arm when Sunny's pupils dilated, "That reminds me… Let me see…" His eyes flickered down the screen where a small amount of Sunny's cleavage was just visible at the bottom of the picture.

Sunny grinned when she saw this and immediately flipped onto her back, phone once against poised in the air over her face, "You ready?" She teased.

She revelled in Bakugo's sudden excited nod, obviously losing his cool slightly as he sat up a little eagerly.

She gave it another few, long seconds, before tilting her phone down to roll over her body.

"Fuck sake!"

She laughed when she heard his frustrated shout, and she rolled back onto her front when he disconnected the call again, holding her belly as she wheezed.

Wednesday

Sunny squealed and cried out when Midnight whipped her butt for what felt like the millionth time.

Turns out Midnight did not need much persuading when it came to training Sunny with a whip, and in fact, she jumped at the opportunity. It was a good idea too, as Sunny had absolutely no long-range attacks and relied upon getting close enough to her opponents to punch and kick them. Although this had never really been a problem, as she was able to anticipate movements, which in turn allowed her to jump and edge her way towards her opponent. However, if her opponent was someone like Midnight, whose quirk was long-range and widely spread, she didn't stand much of a chance. She soon learnt that she couldn't get near enough to Midnight to do anything. Her purr was her only chance, but as soon as she started it up Midnight would just shove her fingers in her ears – also, the older woman seemed to be more or less completely immune anyway.

Big oof.

So, there Sunny stood, with her back to Midnight as she attempted to whip cans off a table. However, every time she cracked her whip Midnight would whip her in turn, completely knocking her off hilt.

It was so she could learn to keep control despite things going on around her, she understood that, as it would be rare in circumstances that against villains she would have a clean and easy shot. However, it really hurt.

Also, she was really tired.

Although Midnight seemed to put her through her paces, Sunny definitely preferred training with Eraserhead – he allowed for afternoon naps. Midnight did not.

Sunny also easily got distracted. A piece of fluff floating by; a fly whizzing past; a bird hovering overhead, all things that stole Sunny's attention immediately instinctively, all things that earnt Sunny another whip.

If Midnight wasn't a teacher, she would have sworn she was enjoying this…

Sunny rubbed her butt cheek at a particularly stinging attack and pouted.

She was a fast learner and had quickly mastered knocking the cans off just on her own with no interference, but she was struggling with knocking them off whilst being attacked. Having a low pain threshold really held her back. But with the promise that the next lesson would be learning how to grab things with the whip, she persevered.

Ohhh, the possibilities.

"Did you see the news this morning?" Midnight suddenly asked, catching Sunny's attention as she eyeballed another can. There had been idle chatter and gossip throughout the day, but the change in Midnight's voice had Sunny's ears pricking.

"What?" Sunny asked absentmindedly.

"Stain's taken another victim," Her voice was heavy in a sigh. Sunny took another shot at a can, but noticed immediately Midnight's absence when she didn't receive a whip in return. Sunny turned curiously, lowering her arms when she found Midnight scrolling through her phone that apparently she'd pulled out of thin air.

Midnight then moved towards her, "See?" She held up her phone, "He's still in Hosu…"

Sunny didn't know how to respond, so she just scrunched up her nose. She thought briefly of Ilda, but she quickly shook her head. He would be safe, he would be sensible.

She knew he'd taken his work experience placement in Hosu; she also knew that was where his brother had been hurt shortly after the festival.

But… But it was Ilda. He was so sensible… It was just a coincidence…

"Tell me what he's like," Midnight's voice was suddenly right next to Sunny's ear, making the younger girl yelp loudly in surprise. "I know you've crossed paths with him before."

Sunny gulped. She knew the faculty knew all about her, and shortly after the sports festival, after learning about Ilda's brother, she had sought out the Principle to tell him all she knew about Stain, albeit not a lot. She had indeed 'crossed paths' with him before, several weeks after she had escaped the Yakuza Fighting group and had started taking the capturing of villains into her own hands. It was fleeting, and brief words were exchanged, but that was it and they were both on their way.

He hadn't made an attempt to kill her as he had with so many heroes before and after her. She didn't even know who he was at the time. She didn't even question if he was a hero or a villain… He was just there at the same place she was for a fleeting moment. As soon as she did realise, however, and his picture started showing up in the papers and online, she had been riddled with guilt. She went to Nezu after Ilda's pain was the tip of the iceberg, but hindsight is a powerful thing and there wasn't anything she could do now…

If she had realised back then, then maybe she would have been the one to apprehend him then and there. However, more likely, he would have just killed her.

That's what Nezu had reminded her. He reminded her she may not be here today if she had done something, and how many people would be suffering in the wake of that, like a butterfly effect.

"We have…" Sunny responded slowly, watching Midnight's face carefully for emotion.

However, the teacher's face was completely blank, and Sunny furrowed her brow slightly in frustration.

"What was he like?" Midnight repeated lowly, her face pressing further and further towards Sunny, "You two have a few… shared opinions, right?"

Despite the topic, Midnight didn't seem threatening to Sunny at that moment. More playful curiosity than anything, but the way her mouth twisted into a sinister smile made Sunny's ears flatten all the same.

Finally, she responded, her face turning into a hard frown, "I know what you're thinking. Just because he and I both have our resentments against today's heroes, doesn't mean I at all support what he's doing." She looked her elder dead in the eye sternly to reiterate her comment.

Midnight held her gaze for a few long moments before straightening up and stepping back. She stretched lazily, slipping back into her usual jovial self, and smiling softly, "That's good to hear."

She then turned away, flashing a cheeky smile over her shoulder, "Come now," She continued, "A little more of this and then we can go get something to eat. I know a cute restaurant nearby and we can get all dressed up. How does that sound?"

Sunny immediately perked up at that suggestion, letting everything Midnight had just said and insinuated go completely.

The rest of the training session slipped by, and with the motivation of dinner, Sunny quickly got the hang of knocking the cans off while Midnight attacked her. She began to twist her ears around at smaller sounds, picking up areas around her that she could not see. Midnight was near on silent when she moved around behind Sunny, but utilising her advanced hearing she tuned into the slightest of movements; the rustling of clothes, a change in breathing and bated breath in the milliseconds before attacking. The younger girl soon began to pick up on her movements, dodging her attacks from behind while still hitting the cans in front of her. After a few misses, Sunny was able to hit the cans whilst moving around at nearly her normal pace, and even whilst airborne on a few occasions.

This seemed to satisfy the lecturer enough for them to finish for the day, and Sunny entered her hotel room later that evening for a shower before dinner feeling proud of herself. Her blind spots were a weakness she'd learnt to work around, and now she was overcoming them she couldn't help but grin inwardly at herself.

She never thought she'd be doing any of the things she was doing now.

Her life seemed to be slotting happily into place.

If only she could tell her six-year-old self that. If only she could tell her younger self that it gets better.

Just at that moment, her phone vibrated. She grabbed it and unlocked it, her face turning into a shit-eating grin as she stared at the picture Katsuki had just sent her of himself with his back to the hotel bathroom mirror, his phone over his shoulder as he stood topless, slightly dripping with wet hair and donning nothing but a pair of tight blue jeans.

Oh, it gets so much better.

"Who are you sending that to?" Midnight asked from over the table. They were at a really fancy restaurant. Or at least Sunny would call it one, Midnight seemed to think it was just cute. But, then again, a trip to MacDonald's is an exciting night out in Sunny's mind.

Sunny had just taken a picture of her dessert, just like she had done for every meal that evening and eagerly sent it on text.

"Erm," Sunny grinned somewhat bashfully under Midnight's penetrating gaze. For such a flamboyant, jolly woman, she sure could be daunting when she wanted to be, "Just my friend."

Just then, her phone pinged, and she spared a quick glance at it and to her surprise, it was not from who she'd thought it to be. Curious, Sunny picked up her phone again and unlocked the message from Midoriya.

Why did he send his location? Sunny cocked her head to the side. Unfortunately, she was nowhere near his location from what she could see from the map, and with a weary shrug and a pursed-lip, she locked her phone back up and put it in her bag.

"A boyfriend?" Midnight teased, gently swirling her glass of red wine before taking a sip, watching Sunny with a knowing gaze.

Sunny flustered a little, her ears flattening on her head, "Of course not." She jabbered out, quickly grabbing her own glass of water, and hiding behind the rim.

"Awwh, young love!" Midnight exclaimed loudly, clasping her hands together and looking into the distance lovingly. Sunny sank into her seat as Midnight continued her fussing, "Who is it? Is he in your class? Oh-oh, let me guess! Is it the sultry, dual haired boy that sits at the back?" Her eyes were shining brightly, "What a handsome young man! Oh~ Just think of your babies! They'd be so gorgeous!"

Sunny's eyes bugged out, and she raised her hands quickly. Intrusive thoughts of Shoto flickered through her mind and her cheeks and bare shoulders flushed pink.

Midnight paused, leaning back in her chair a little and peering at Sunny, "Is it… is it a girlfriend?"

Sunny hid behind her hands in embarrassment, shaking her head violently, "No! N-no, it's no one!"

Midnight wasn't listening, "Is it that blond boy?"

Sunny's heart dropped, but Midnight continued, oblivious, "You know, I can't remember his name, but he sits behind you. He has a funny face."

"Denki?!" Sunny blurted out, crashing a hand over her mouth at her own tone of disgust and amusement.

"Are you sure? You seem to hang about him a lot… But then again it could be that cutie redhead, the one with all the spiky hair."

Sunny began to slide down her seat as Midnight began to string off all the boys in her class, judging them as potential suitors, until, finally, after everyone in the class – even some of the girls – she finally hit the jackpot.

Midnight suddenly paused, her lips at the rim of her wine glass, "Oh no…" Her eyes widened a little, "It's not that little terror is it? Bakugo, is that his name?"

Sunny's hesitation said it all, and she wailed loudly when Midnights face turned to one of shock horror.

"You devious little…!" Midnight exclaimed in a gasp, slamming her glass back down on the table so loudly several heads turned towards them briefly.

Sunny glanced up to find Midnight's face had changed once again and was now sporting an expression of utter amazement. Her blue eyes danced playfully, and her mouth was open wide in a beam.

"I have to admit," Midnight picked her wine glass up again and started to swirl it thoughtfully, twinkling eyes still set on Sunny's sulking face, "I didn't think you would be into bad boys. Girls like you usually go for the cute, silent type… You know, someone to corrupt!" She mused allowed, tapping her chin with her finger, "Although I totally ship it, he's such a dish! Now, your babies will be beautiful!"

Sunny slithered straight down her chair onto the floor.

Immediately, Midnight had leant down and stuck her head through the tablecloth, finding Sunny instantly and piercing her with her gaze once more.

"I bet you two are quite the handful," She continued, her expression turning wistful, "I bet your relationship is so full of passion…"

"Erm…" Brief highlights of Bakugo launching her into the pool a few days prior flitted through Sunny's mind, "Passion isn't the word I would use- Wah!" Sunny cried out when Midnight suddenly crawled under the table with her and grabbed her by the shoulders.

It occurred to neither women how this must look to the rest of the people in the restaurant as a near-adult and proper adult disappeared under their table like toddlers.

"I hope you're being safe," Midnight suddenly told her seriously, "You know, if you ever need anyone to talk to about anything…" Midnight then let go of Sunny and reached for her bag that was on the floor by the legs of her chair. She rooted through it for a few moments before pulling out a small foil wrapper and shoving it into Sunny's hands, "I'm here for you. You're both young adults, full of life and full of burning desire with a deep insatiable hunger…"

Midnight continued to ramble on, and with each word, Sunny's face dropped further and further into one of complete and utter horror. She was well aware of what Midnight had just deposited into her hands and was now forcing her to hold onto tightly with the ravenette's hands clasped over her own.

"Is this appropriate?" Sunny suddenly squeaked, trying hard not to just yeet the condom across the restaurant.

"I'm your teacher!" Midnight interjected boldly, "I need to make sure you stay safe. We don't want a load of exploding kittens on our hands!"

Sunny tipped her head back and yowled loudly as Midnight continued to fuss on.

"I-Is everything okay with your desserts?"

Sunny was still wailing and Midnight was still pestering away at her when both women abruptly stopped at the worried voice of their waiter above them.

Immediately, Midnight stuck her head out from under the table, "So far, they're absolutely lovely, thank you."

Sunny popped her head out from under the table to meet the worried gaze of the young brunet serving them. The young man cleared his throat and shuffled awkwardly on his feet.

"Are you both o-okay down there? Would you like a hand returning to your seats?"

Sunny and Midnight exchanged glances before shaking their heads 'no' up at the waiter. They both briefly disappeared under the tablecloth again before reappearing back either side of the table in their respective seats. Neither of them looked remotely embarrassed as Midnight flicked her dark hair over her shoulder and Sunny readjusted her LBD, quickly shoving the condom into her bra and out of sight.

Sunny finally began digging into her pudding while Midnight got her phone out across from her.

"I made a list…" The elder woman began, dragging Sunny's suspicious attention once more around a mouthful of chocolate tart.

"-Of hero names I think would be good for you," Midnight finally finished, and Sunny audibly sighed with relief, clutching her chest.

For a moment, she thought it was going to be a list of baby names or something.

"I actually wanted to ask you about that…" Sunny pondered out loud.

Midnight suddenly slamming her hands down hard against the table startled both Sunny and several other diners nearby.

"This is so exciting…" She fizzed through gritted teeth, holding her phone up high and a little away from her face she peered at the screen.

"Fluffy…" She began, glancing over the top of her phone to catch Sunny's head cock to the side, a perfectly manicured nail held up to the corner of her lip. Midnight continued, "You know…" She rolled her hand encouragingly, waiting for it to click in Sunny's mind, "Because of the tail… And the ears."

She watched as the cogs started working in Sunny's brain, and the teacher smirked when the expression of realisation dawned on Sunny.

Sunny nodded eagerly, "I like that! But… My tail isn't fluffy in my costume." She grabbed at her own tail, briefly holding it in her mouth in thought.

"Huh…" Midnight realised she was right, "Moving on then! Tigger!"

Sunny immediately scrunched her nose up, "Tigger's a boys name! I had a toy called Tigger when I was little…" She paused, "Although it wasn't exactly a toy, it was more of a rock I had found and drew a face on using my blo-"

"Neko-Girl?"

Sunny's reflective expression turned sour, "Absolutely not." That is what her foster siblings used to call her. The name itself is harmless, it was the way they said it that stung her. It was to mock her and the way she looked, jeering at her as they pulled her ears and her tail.

"Domino?"

"Domino?" Sunny repeated, rolling the word around on her tongue, "That's… That's funny. That's also what my friend suggested…" Sunny thought back to when Shoto had visited her to pick up the cardboard cut-out of his dad. When she was saying goodbye to him at the door, he'd made the exact same suggestion.

"Yes!" Midnight nodded eagerly, "Because with all that creamy hair and black costume, you kind of look like a domino piece."

Sunny's expression wiped as she stared at Midnight, "My friend said it's because I knock people down like dominoes," She huffed and crossed her arms over her chest, "I prefer his reasoning."

Midnight's mouth turned into a large O shape, "Oooh! Yes! That too! It's perfect!" She clapped her hands together excitedly, "It's cute and threatening – an unspoken consequence of your actions towards the bad guys! They mess with you, you kick 'em down like dominoes!" Midnight swept her hands into the air excitedly. Beside them, two diners had clearly had enough and promptly rose from their seats.

By the time they left the restaurant, it was long after Sunny's bedtime, she barely had the energy to wave back to Midnight as the raven-haired woman waved goodbye through the back of the taxi window as it sped off down the dark street.

The moon was high in the sky now, large and clear with barely a single cloud in sight.

Sunny made a movement to turn with a yawn but was cut short when the hairs on the back of her neck tickled and jumped on end. She hesitated, turning back around slowly and hoping she didn't just see what she thought she saw.

But there, unmistakable and practically glowing through the darkness of an alleyway opposite was a pair of piercing red eyes, and a mop of white, icy blue hair illuminated by the moonlight above.

"Shigaraki…" Sunny breathed, shuffling on her feet for a moment. Before she even realised, she was moving forward towards the man, crossing the road briskly and stopping to stand before him, just at the mouth of the alleyway. The light from the street behind bloomed around her, catching in her white hair and irradiating angelically.

He wore a dark hooded jacket, and he loomed down at her with an unreadable expression on his face. This was the first time she had seen him without a mask, and although he was clearly a lot younger than she had accused him of being all those weeks ago when she had first met him in his basement bar, the chapping and coarseness of his skin aged him greatly.

"What are you doing here?" Her voice was barely above a whisper when she spoke, but she knew he heard her when his pupils dilated briefly. She blinked slowly, struggling to stay tall and still as overwhelming exhaustion washed over her.

She was so tired…

"I needed to see for myself…" His low, raspy voice snaked through the darkness, wrapping around Sunny like a coil and dragging her closer still, "I couldn't believe it when I heard K.C had joined the hero course…"

He raised a leathery hand and scratched at his neck; his eyes fell to Sunny's legs as she made another step closer. They now stood only a few feet apart, and it made Shigaraki scratch harder when his red eyes met her apricot ones.

The wind blew down the alleyway, catching around Sunny and rustling her hair. A few, wispy strands floated towards Shigaraki and he took a long deep breath. Sunny blinked, but gasped and stumbled when she felt a hand wrap around her throat.

In her drowsy state, she didn't muster up the speed to retaliate when Shigaraki pushed her up against the alley wall. The cold, wet slime of the brickwork stuck to the skin of her exposed arms, gunk and grime coating her body where it touched and sending a sickening shiver down her spine.

She didn't move. She didn't fight back as curiosity got the better of her. Fear wasn't what rooted her to the ground, genuine interest did. The tone in Shigaraki's voice was the same she had experienced only briefly before. His cool, collective demeanour had melted slightly, and that whine had escaped his tone like a child trying to keep it together while fighting the urge to have a meltdown over something.

She could feel all but one of Shigaraki's fingers around her throat and she swallowed thickly.

"I watched you for months," He whistled through his teeth as his face came closer to hers. Sunny scrunched her face up and turned away as he continued breathing down at her, "I admired your work. Making a mockery of professional heroes; doing a better job than them. And then when I met you," He paused, rolling his head around. Sunny's eyes popped open before squeezing shut again when she heard the crack and pop of his bones, "You were so underwhelming, but that seemed to make what you were doing even sweeter."

Sunny opened her eyes, finally dragging her gaze to his out of curiosity. Her pumpkin coloured hues searched his face as he rambled on, his stare unwavering from her face.

"You were amazing," His voice was right next to her ear now, hot breath leaving condensation on the hollow of her ear and making her cringe, "Every time you're name popped up my heart skipped a beat. And when finally we got hold of you, well…" Sunny would have audibly gagged when his hot, slimy tongue came out and licked the curve of her ear if she wasn't so utterly shocked.

"I would have made you my queen. You could have been beside me, leading an entire army of rebellion. But… But it seems you've chosen another side."

"I've chosen the right side," Sunny replied through gritted teeth, glaring up at Shigaraki. She did her best to imitate one of Bakugo's fearsome expressions.

With his free hand, Shigaraki scratched at his neck again, but his lips curled into a sinister smirk. He let out a spine-chilling chuckle under his breath before it turned somewhat hysterical.

Sunny just watched him with a closeted expression, but her jowls flexed as she continued to grit her teeth behind pursed lips.

"I'll give you one more chance to join me," He leant close to her again, squeezing his fingers around her throat tighter.

Sunny didn't even flinch as her airway was pinched, and she continued to glare up at the silver-haired man with a firm expression.

"You have 48 hours…" Shigaraki's voice dropped another octave, and he purred out; "My love…" His face dipped, pushing his crusty lips against her glossed ones.

Sunny's eyes popped slightly, and her cool composure wilted immediately. She lashed out, claws exposed, but Shigaraki was already gone, stepping back into an immerging flow of warp gate.

She crumpled immediately, falling to her knees on the alley floor and soiling her dress in a dirty puddle.
