A/N : So I have started with the OOTP. As you know it's a long book, there will be loads of moments to write. Please bear with me. In GOF I wanted to get them attracted to each other. In OOTP they will fall in love. I also want to show that they have gotten comfortable with each other physically.

"He is not listening to us at all Ron!" said Hermione. They were sitting in the common room. Harry had gone for Umbridge detention. They were waiting for him to come back.
"Don't start again hermione!"
"But Ron! He keeps losing his temper on Umbridge and she keeps giving him detention. He should learn to control it."
"But he's right Hermione! What else should he say. I rather think Umbridge is being awfully unfair. Although I think he shouldn't shout."
"Yes but why isn't he holding himself. I mean he knows she's going to give detention and he still goes on and says it and gets a detention."
"I know hermione. But I'm not going to say anything to him. I don't want him to shout, I don't want to give him more reasons to shout on us. I rather stay quiet. But he isn't wrong you know. He's right whatever he is saying to Umbridge."
"Oh I know Ron! I know you're right. But this Umbridge, I can't figure out what to do."
"What do you want to do to her?"
"Well we are losing our most important year of education due to her and not only that we aren't getting trained to fight. How long do you think before You Know Who gets to us. We need to get rid of her."
"How about poison?"
"Ron! I'm serious!" smiling abit. As Harry climbed the portrait hole and came to sit with his bleeding hand, hermione offered him essence of murtlap.
"She's an awful woman," said Hermione in a small voice. " know, I was just saying to Ron when you came in . . . we've got to do something about her."
"I suggested poison," said Ron grimly.

Ron and hermione were standing along with all the Prefects. The head Boy and Head girl were giving instructions about patrolling. As soon as they left along with malfor and pansy, she held up all the Prefects before they go for their duty.
"Listen, I wanted to talk to all of you. Can you hear me out for a minute.?" said Hermione. They all looked up, curious to know what possibly could hermione say to them.
"Listen, don't you think Umbridge is ruining our most important year by not making us learn spells. I mean, O. W. L. S are important for your jobs description also."
"Yes. I mean I was thinking the same. We might lose our grade in O. W. L. S" said Ernie.
"I really hate that Umbridge woman. That book is useless." said Hannah.
"Yea, and she is awful too. Giving Harry so many detentions." said Ron
"Really!? Why!?" said Padma
"Cause he keeps saying the truth about You Know who." said Ron
"But nobody really knows what happened except Harry." said Anthony Goldstein.
"It is the truth. Whatever he said. And that's-that's why I think we not only need to study for O. W. L. S but to defend ourselves. So-so we had the idea that maybe, you know, Harry teaches us. You know, to learn and fight. So will you be interested?" said hermione.
" I don't know. Don't you think Umbridge would be mad in us about it. I mean we are Prefects." said Anthony.
" But we can form study groups. I checked in the library and we can definitely form a study group. " said Hermione.
"I think it's a good idea. Im willing to join but you know, what if someone finds out." said Ernie.
"Oh yes! We can't let anyone know about it yet. Do you know anyone else who could be interested? I mean make sure they aren't connected to the Minister or Ministry. Cause you know, Umbridge is reporting everything there. And you know, Dumbledore can get into trouble. " said Hermione.
" Yes. I will let you know. We will ask out. " said Ernie
" But be careful! Tell them we are meeting at-at"
"Hogmeade!" said Ron
"Yea! Somewhere no one could know." said Hermione.
"Hogs Head!" said Hannah.
"Yea that will be great. Hogmeade first trip at Hogs Head." said hermione.
They all murmured okay and Ron and hermione started their patrollong duty.
"They seem interested!" said Hermione.
"Yes. It's a good idea." said Ron. But he suddenly stopped and held hermione's hand.
"What!?" said hermione
"Listen hermione." said Ron as hermione leaned against the wall and Ron put his one arm next to her and leaned in close to her and said "What if, what if she gets to know. What if someone among them go off and tell someone who tells Umbridge. We are going to get Harry in serious trouble."
Hermione went into a deep thought, even ignoring how close they both were. "You could be right Ron. But we haven't done anything yet. It's just an idea right now. Do you think anyone would blab among them?"
"They could. Or maybe someone can overhear them. It's risky. If Umbridge find out that Harry would be operating a secret group against her, she will get him expelled. He just escaped that in summer." said Ron. As Ron unintentionally had got awfully close to hermione as he was whispering this so that nobody can hear. Just then Hermione jumped away from Ron blushing." What!? "said Ron.
" Hi Ron." said Luna with a smile and looking at Hermione. She didn't greet her.
" Oh errr Hi." said Ron.
" So, what are you both doing here? " said Luna with a raised eyebrow.
" Oh err we were just patrolling and talking. Listen Luna, we are planning to form a group to learn spells of the subject of Defense against the Dark Arts. You know Umbridge isn't teaching us. " said Ron.
" Oh I would love to join you." said Luna.
"Harry is going to teach and we are meeting at Hogs Head on the first Hogsmeade trip" snapped Hermione.
Luna smiled. "See you then." she said and went away.
"Why did you invite her!?" said hermione as they saw Luna had gone long way ahead.
"What!? You said to ask more people. We met her on the train. She seemed like someone who wouldn't mind joining and blabbing about it."
"Oh forget it."
"What!? What hermione. Why are you snapping at me for no reason."
"Oh Ron. Can't you see. She is only coming because of you." said Hermione sadly.
"Me!? Why!?"
"Cause hse fancies you! Do I have to spell everything out for you!"
"She fancies me!? Is she mad!? But I don't fancy her. And why are you angry on me!"
Hermione felt relaxed. He doesn't fancy her. Silly me. Always thinking too much. She took his arm and started patrolling again. "There! I'm not being angry. Happy!"
Ron smiled. But she knew Ron doesn't take hints at all. He is actually very bad in these matters. They started talking and thinking who could they potentially ask for the study group and chatted all the way.
Next morning at breakfast she and Ron was walking towards the table when Ernie and Hannad called her over. She was walking to them when she saw Cho enter. She motioned Ron to talk to her while she went to Hannah and Ernie.
"Susan also wants to come. So does Justin, if that's okay. They promised not to talk about it. They want to learn the spells from Harry."
"Oh good! The more the merrier. Tell them to meet at first Hogsmeade... Is there any problem" said Hermione looking at a boy who was clearly listening to them.
"Oh Zacharias! You okay buddy?" said Ernie.
"Yea. I heard you. You were talking about learning spells. What is it?" he said.
"Errr...listen, don't tell..." said Ernie but hermione cut him off "We were talking about learning spells. Is that wrong?"
"No. I want to learn too. Who is teaching?" he said.
"We would tell but you promise not to talk to anyone about it."
"Errr. Okay!"
"Harry is teaching. Harry Potter"
"What!? That idiot!?"
"Excuse me!"
"Well errr I will thimk about it but I won't tell. Don't worry!"
She turned around and saw Ron standing with Cho waiting for her. She walked towards them.
"I'm sorry about the tornado thing. You know half of them are wearing badge after last season. I didn't know you wore them since six. Oh here she comes, she wants to talk" said Ron.
"Oh hi Cho! Uhmmm listen, will-will be interested in learning spells. We are thinking of starting a group."
"Oh err I will think about it." as she turned to leave hermione said "Harry's teaching! You know, after the last summer, what he saw, he really wants to teach us and learn to defend ourselves. Not what Umbridge is teaching. So you in?"
She turned to look at her friend who shook her head. Then she said "Me and my friend are in"
"Oh good. We are meeting in Hogsmeade at Hogs Head. See you" she smiled and went away. Ron went away to join Harry for breakfast when Ginny came running to her "Why were you talking to Cho!? What kind of a best friend are you!?"
"Ginny! Listen, we are starting a group for learning spells. Harry's teaching."
"What!? Are you crazy!? What if Umbridge finds out. Don't you see him suffer everyday in detention with her!"
"Listen, this is important too. So u better come at Hogs Head. And bring your boyfriend too. I have invited Cho too. We want as many people as we can." she turned and went to have breakfast with Ron and Harry.
Later in the evening Ron and Hermione started asking people in common room to join when Harry left for detention. Fred, George, Lee, Alicia, the. Creeveys, Angelina, Katie, lavender, Neville, Dean and Parvati all agreed to join. Ron and hermione smiled at each other as they felt their idea went popular.

Hermione and Ginny left the common room to come down for breakfast with Ron and Harry.
"Whata this?" said Ginny pointing at some students wearing a crown.
Hermione leaned in closer to see Slytherins were wearing Weasley is our King badges. "Oh no. They shouldn't have done it. Ron is going to take it hard on himself."
"Ooooh. His girlfriend is sooo worried for him!" said Ginny sniggering.
"Very funny Ginny. Let's go and see how he is doing!"
They reached the table where Ron and Harry were sitting. The Quidditch match was about to start. Ron was looking extremely nervous and lost.
"Hello," said a vague and dreamy voice from behind them. Harry looked up: Luna Lovegood had drifted over from the Ravenclaw table. Many people were staring at her and a few openly laughing and pointing; she had managed to procure a hat shaped like a life-size lion's head, which was perched precariously on her head.
"I'm supporting Gryffindor," said Luna, pointing unnecessarily at her hat. "Look what it does. . . ."
She reached up and tapped the hat with her wand. It opened its mouth wide and gave an extremely realistic roar that made everyone in the vicinity jump.
"It's good, isn't it?" said Luna happily. "I wanted to have it chewing up a serpent to represent Slytherin, you know, but there wasn't time.
Anyway . . . good luck, Ronald!"
Ginny whispered to hermione "Oooh she's good. So how are you going to beat that? Wow this is getting interesting!"
"Shhh Ginny! I'm not going to do anything."
"But she made her move on Ron. Aren't you going to make your move?"
Hermione went into deep thinking. What can she do to make Ron happy. She can wish him good luck.
"What do think I should do?" said Hermione.
Ginny rolled her eyes "make him keep his eyes closed till he reaches the changing room."
Hermione was thinking. She knew she have to do something for him. Ginny is right. I shouldn't just sit around and let other girls make a pass on him. I should do something too. After all I'm his best friend. As they got up, she took Harry by the side and told him not to let Ron see the badges. But Ron saw them and looked more worried and lost. She had never seen him so down. Oh Ron. It's okay. It's just a game. She looked at him and felt like hugging and giving him a kiss. That's it!
"Good luck, Ron," said Hermione, standing on tiptoe and kissing him on the cheek. "And you, Harry —"
And hurriedly went away with Ginny.
"What did I just saw!?" said Ginny. As hermione turned around to look at Ron's reaction. He is such a stupid git. He was touching where she had kissed him. She smiled. She was sure he didn't expect this from her. But she had to take this step. She had to step up their relationship. She herself was having goosebumps for kissing him on cheek.
"What!? You said to do something!"
"Yea that was something! Look at the idiot. Touching the place you kiss. It clearly shows you are first girl who ever kissed him."
"Ginny! Let's go! I hope he performs well. He was so worried. He told me in one of those patrolling times. He didn't want anyone to think he is a let down!"
"Relax Hermione! Let's go get some seats!"
RON POV
"Good luck, Ron," said Hermione, standing on tiptoe and kissing him on the cheek. "And you, Harry —"
Whaaaa... What just happened!? Did she kiss me. Hermione kissed me!? Why!? Does she like me!? But she did say she likes me. Does she like me more than that? But she kissed Harry too on the cheek. Then he touched his cheek. Maybe it's for good luck. And hey it did feel good. Why did it feel good. Why do I like hermione kissing me. Stop it Ron. She is your best friend. You shouldn't think like that. Maybe it's for good luck. Nothing more. But still it felt good. I should stop this feeling immediately now. He looked back at her and she was smiling. Oh I love her smile. It always make him smile too. What is wrong with you Ron!? You have a match to play and you're busy admiring every part of Hermione. Am I okay? Why am I feeling this. No time now. Got to change.
