"We should tell Miroku," Sango suggested.
Kagome let out a shaky sigh. She really didn't want to, but it was the smart thing to do. Miroku was a lot wiser than he seemed. Getting his input would possibly shed some light to the mysteries of the disease.
"Let me put Shippo to sleep first."
The three gathered around the fire.
Kagome described her situation once more, Sango also pitching in. She watched the emotions dance on the monk's face.
Curiosity.
Confusion.
Shock.
Anger.
Pity.
By the end of her explanation, he seemed to have settled on distressedness. Kagome smiled sadly.
