I am so sorry for the way overdue update, lockdown was crazy, I have been back at work 3 months now, and finding time to my actual self is hard, never mind been online to write, and I have kind of been avoiding this chapter cause I couldn't figure out what to write, anyways enjoy.

Chapter 24.

Taking a deep breath everything right now was a complete blur to JJ, she was trying to focus on breathing and not the pain in she was, she was completely nervous but excited at the same time, she was about to give birth to her first child.

The next thing she knew she was in a gown, laid in a hospital bed, Will by her bedside, A midwife checking on her.

"Ok Jennifer, you're only a few centimeters dilated, this is going to be a while before we meet your little boy"

JJ closed her eyes, rubbing her belly, "Can you give me anything for the pain?"

The midwife nodded, "I'll get right on that, right now just relax for me and focus on your breathing"

Several hours later, JJ laid her head back onto the pillow.

"How are you doing darlin?" Will asked rubbing his hand through her hair.

"Even with the meds, this hurts" JJ took another breath.

"He will be here soon darlin"

JJ nodded, squeezing his hand.

"That's it Jennifer keep pushing," the Nurse said coaching JJ through.

"I can't" JJ let out a breath.

"Babe you got this just one more big push and our boy is here"

JJ squeezed his hand "I'm tired"

"For me, one more push" Will said kissing her hand

"You ready Jennifer?" The nurse smiled at them, "One more and your boy is here I can see his head.

JJ took a deep breath, squeezing Will's hand as tightly as she could she pushed one more time, hearing a little cry, she laid her head back crying.

"That's it he's here" The nurse.

"Will do you want to cut the umbilical cord?" The nurse passed him the scissors

"Sure" Will smiled, cutting the cord, he sat back next to JJ, watching as the nurses laid their baby boy onto JJ's chest.

"We did it" JJ whispered staring at her baby boy.

"You did darlin, I'm proud of you" Will kissed her head.

"He looks just like you" JJ smiled.

"But he has his mamma's eyes" Will smiled.

JJ opened her eyes seeing Will holding their son. "That looks good on you"

Will looked up smiling, "You should be sleeping"

"I'm fine Can I hold him?" JJ said sitting up.

"You just went through fifteen-hour labor" Will smiled handing him over, squeezing on the bed next to her.

"We still need to name him." JJ laid her head on his chest.

"I still really like Henry" Will smiled.

"Really?" JJ smiled.

"What?"

"I thought you wanted to keep the family name"

Will sighed, "He can have my name has a middle name"

JJ smiled, "Well Henry William LaMontagne welcome to the world" JJ smiled kissing his head.

"I love you" Will smiled.

"I love you too" JJ smiled kissing him.

"I called your mom, she's coming tomorrow and the team said they will drop by in a few days"

JJ smiled. "And you?"

"I'm taking as long as I can off to be with you both"

JJ smiled, "Just the three of us"

"We made a family"

JJ smiled, "That we did"
