We watched him as swiftly got up and left, making his way back towards Tom and his croonies.

I let out a tired, slow, deep breath, allowing my head to fall onto my arms in a muffled thump onto the table. Several moments passed before lifted my head and straightened my posture once more.

Quickly but inconspicuously, lifting up my fingertips towards the back of my neck, and gently placed them onto the mark concealed under my long hair. Causing a warm sensation begin to go through the small mark.

All the while chanting the word Tom had showed me, Morsmordre, under my breath. I noticed that Bellatrix had raised her hand to rub her neck gingerly, as did the others that I had marked.

"What's going on?" She asked in a whisper, worriedly as she began rubbing her neck. She began to feel the sensation on the mark turn from a warm sensation to a slight burning one.

"Tom wishes to have a word with all of our group." I said, looking at her, as I patted down my hair trying to smooth down the large ringlets.

"Oh? Do we have to? We were all having such a nice time." Bella replied sarcastically, rolling her eyes at me.

"Probably, unless you would like to sit down stiffly in class for the next week and a half." Severus replied, dryly.

"Alright, alright. Let's go change our shoes into a more comfortable pair of shoes that don't pinch and wait 'til after lights out to go." She said, nodding as I leaned forward.

I nodded, biting my lip as I thought about why were all being summoned.

Both if us got up slowly made our way back to the common room, ignoring the questioning gazes we began to get as we slowly made our way out of the Great Hall.

By the time we had made it back to our room. Bella and I had already had already slipped our heals off.

"Are you going to change out of that dress?" She asked, sitting on the couch rubbing her feet.

"Should I?" I asked, throwing myself on the overstuffed futon.

"Change into the dark ebony dress we bought for you last week. Keep the garter and stocking on, and leave your cloak open." She suggested, smirking at me, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

I looked at her hesitantly, before noticing the mischivous sparkle in her eyes and quickly deciding against it.

"No, I'll just wear this one. I am too tired to change into another one just for an hour or half an hour of standing in the cold. Besides, this dress is rather warm thanks to having to wear a camisole under it. All I'll do is slip the black lace off. See? Its lighter now." I said, slipping my shoes back on.

"I thought we were going to change." She complained as she watched me slip my shoes back on.

"Seriously, Bella, if you feel the need to change, then do so, but I am too tried to change. So, I am staying in this dress until after we get back. That way I don't have to change and go out in the cold night." I said, looking at her annoyed.

She grumbled in response and stepped into her black heeled ankle boots, as she pulled the pins out of her hair. When she finished pulling the pins out her hair sat in curls on her head, less messy than her usual wild hair.

I followed her example and pulled out the emerald pins, leaving the thin diadem on.

"Come on, it's getting close to lights out. Let's go sit in the common room for a while." I said, smiling at her as she shook her head erratically to get the rest of the pin curls out.

"How do I look?" She asked, running her fingers through her hair, separating the curls a bit more, giving her, her signature wild look. Now instead of wild curls they were neat pin curls.

"Great. Now, let's go." I said slipping on my thick hooded cloak.

By this time, of course, all the first through forth years were in bed already. Making the corridors leading to the common room eerier than usual. The only thing that could be heard were random footsteps coming from the rooms we passed.

We ran into the Bloody Baron, who made it a point to ignore us as we walked by him. Disappearing into a wall before we had even made it out of the corridor.

"Who else is going to be there? Where are Cissy and Dromeda?" Bella asked, as we made it to emerald fire lit room.

"Probably down in the Great Hall still dancing the night away with their dates." I whispered back, sitting down on the armchair.

"So, what's the deal with you and Snape? You two seemed awful chummy earlier." Bella whispered, amusement and mischief shining in her dark eyes.

"Nothing, he just said a couple of things and I thought I should answer him truthfully." I said truthfully.

"Couple of Things? What kind of things?" She asked curiously, tilting her head to look at me, leaning in to hear my answer.

"He basically paraphrased the things you and your sisters having been telling me for almost a month. Satisfied?" I muttered, sighing as my eyes flicked back to the emerald green flames.

"See? We told you!" She sang, amused.

I chose to ignore her, keeping my eyes on the moving eerie, emerald flames in the fire pit.

"You know, your eyes look really intimidating with that fire reflecting from them." She commented as we both heard someone making their way into the common room.

It was Andromeda, Cissy, Lucius, Avery. I watched as the four of them made it down the stone steps over to where we sat, chatting quietly.

"Do you know what this about?" I asked, twisting the emerald ring on my index left finger, one that I had slipped on earlier today.

"I haven't got a clue." Lucius said, sitting down next to Cissy.

"So, I am guessing you two are officially courting now, am I right? Or are you two still dancing around each other and attempting to act as friends?" I asked casually.

From the corner of my eye I could see Narcissa looked sheepish, turn bright red as she began to giggle nervously.

"Fiiinnaallyy!" Bella chanted, smirking as their turned crimson red.

"Almost everyone is going to bed now. We should start heading out..." Avery said.

I nodded standing.

I noticed no one had bothered to change out of their formal wear, and that most of the boys had begun loosening or taking off the bow ties, and that the girls had loosened their hairstyles, grabbed their cloaks, and changed shoes into more comfortable ones.

We wall started heading out when I heard the distinct noise of footfalls rushing down the empty corridors.

"Nanas!" I heard someone call, causing me to turn in the direction I heard the voice.

Trying to not to smile as I realized it was the only person who called me that besides my uncle Seamus. I stared blankly at his approaching form, allowing my eyebrow to lift in question.

Rabastian Lestrange, Rod's fraternal twin. I could say they are polar opposites. Rabastian or Bastian as I liked to call him was the jokester of the two, liked joking around, and had a way of making you like him. Whereas Rodolphus was the serious one, he did smile but hardly, he took everything too seriously.

Bastian told me once that Rod used to be the jokester of the two until one day something happened and it turned him into the complete opposite.

"Bastian, where have you been, if you don't mind me asking?" I questioned, my eyebrow still raised.

"Oh, who? me? I-I've been here and there... I had to study for the O.W.L.S... Congrats on becoming an honorary Slytherin, by the way." He replied, as we walked down the steep hill together slowly made our way towards the Forbidden Forest.

Bellatrix pouted, still hurt that Rod had taken another girl to the ball.

"Right... so your knob-less brother took someone else to the ball tonight." I commented, as we quickly made our way down the steep hill and entered the darkened woods.

"What... he said he was going to ask...oh, that idiot." He muttered, shaking his head disbelief.

"Trixy, ignore him, he'll realize his mistake in a week or two." He said, looking at Bellatrix, who was scowling at every tree we passed, she could probably burn them with her heated stare.

"Do you happen to know what this meeting is pertaining to?" I asked him, innocently.

"Who me? N-Nah-No? I don't know, honestly, why would I know a thing about this?" He asked, looking back at Bellatrix, nervously.

"Well to be honest, and if I'm being truthful you are always glued to Riddle's ahh-" Bella retorted.

"Bellatrix!" I chastised, elbowing her in the ribs.

"Ouch. I'm just saying the truth." She muttered, rubbing her ribs.

I rolled my eyes at her, but stayed quiet nonetheless.

"Quick question, Nanas, why did you choose a spider as the mark on the females here? What is it like four of you left? Maybe five?" He asked, looking up at the trees as we got closer to the destination.

"There is six of us." Bella said, dryly.

"Well... for two reasons, actually, it's much smaller and can be hidden better on the back of our necks, with our hair, than a serpent coming out of a skull can. Besides the males have it on their chest." I said, shrugging.

"What's the other reason?" He asked, looking around, guarded.

"Spiders can be just as deadly as a serpent. Even though the symbol to the Slytherin house is a serpent. Spiders are smaller much more than serpents are, you can squash one easily but if you try attacking one it'll easily defend itself, biting you, if it is venomous. They can also hide easily if need be." I explained.

"Girls, women, females whatever you want to call us. Can do the same. You, males, think you can overpower us, and you can in some cases, but if you piss us off or try to hurt us purposely, we'll easily and willingly squash you like the bugs you are. We're resourceful, just like them." I added smirking as we walked into the clearing, where everyone was already waiting for us.
