So, it's been a while...

Sorry for the delay in getting this out but I was at a cross roads about where this was going. I did not originally plan for the story to turn in this direction, but it took on a mind of its own!

I understand that some of this is not canon, but please forgive me. So far Lila has had little comeback from her appalling behaviour and I really want to hand her arse to her!

I hope you enjoy the chapter, thank you for reading. Thank you for the reviews, follows and faves also. If you have enjoyed this, please take a look at some of my other fics.

Take it easy =)

Lady Rhi X

A darkness fell over Madame Rossi's face, as an evil glint shone in her eyes. Narrowing her calculating features at her daughter, the woman stood up, with an air of defiance.

"I told you, you were taking it too far!" She spat at her suddenly recoiling daughter. "You saw what happened in Italy, Spain and Sweden, and you still chose to carry this on-"

"You started this by lying to me!" Lila and her mother stood face to face. Matching death glares aimed at each other, "I have only ever followed your example! we were meant to be starting fresh, fresh from the lies, from the deceit." Lila hugged herself remorsefully, "how can you expect me to change if you don't?"

Madame Rossi looked indignantly at her daughter, "I have never planned on stabbing someone-"

"No, and neither did I, I knew you didn't fucking listen to my explanation," she muttered bitterly. "But you were a gold digger, or have you conveniently forgotten about my father and all those other men you tried it on with?" Lila countered triumphantly, "you were stupid enough to think you could trap him with me, and too dumb not to take him for every penny when he left! I am smarter than you and more determined, I could have gotten us the life you only, EVER, lied about!"

A few moments passed by, as the classroom occupants stared in silence. Even Miss Bustier's mouth was agape in disbelief with what Lila had planned and then attempted to execute. Adrien felt Marinette tense next to him

"Was that your plan with Adrien?" Marinette stood in anger speaking with restraint as she tried to keep her voice level. "Were you hoping to trap him the same way?" Her hands clenched at her sides, with her eyes narrowed.

Lila smiled sickeningly sweet at Adrien, holding his recoiling, disgusted form with her gaze. "Yes-"

The whole class gasped. They had not been sure what to expect entirely when they had planned this, but how this was panning out, was beyond any if their wildest dreams.

"-but I couldn't get anywhere near him romantically, not even when I had that little agreement with Gabe..." She tapped her finger on her chin, "tell me, Netty," turning her gaze, she looked at a reddening Marinette. "How does a girl get a guy who is tragically obsessed with Ladybug to fall for her instead?"

A strange tension transcended over the class. Everybody stiffened as they did not dare to look back at the fuming bluenette. Marinette seethed on the spot. Adrien's hand made its way into hers, as he stood next to his girlfriend. An taunting smirk spreading across his lips.

"I suppose we have you to thank for that, Lila."

The way he smugly drew out her name caused shivers to crawl up his classmates' spines. There was a satisfied edge to his features, mocking her, for her own self sabotage.

"Because of how you, not so cleverly segregated Marinette from the rest of the class, I got to spend all of my free time with her." Adrien relished the anger clearly rising up in Lila's face as he pulled a calming down Marinette into his side. "And because of you, I realised the inevitable. So. Much. Sooner."

Marinette leaned into Adrien's chest, a subtle blush and soft reflective smile playing on her face as Chloé turned to her and raised a knowing eyebrow in their direction. Adrien continued matter of factly while Kim put his arm around Chloé's shoulders.

"You, Lila, are a bully and a deceitful person, full of hate for yourself, whether you realise it or not, and you see those around you as tools, nothing more. You targeted Marinette because you could already see that she was everything you wanted to be. Loved, smart, talented, generous," he kissed her cheekily as he said it just to her, "beautiful." He turned back to see Lila pursing her lips, calculating her next move. "She was a threat to you, and your sinister plot, but on what earth, did you really think we would be together?" Adrien rolled his eyes in irritation before lowering his voice. "Marinette saw through your bullshit from the very first lie you told, and you did not like it. You did not like the fact that there was someone who was already liked by everyone, who did not eat out of the palm of your hand."

Chloé held up her hand, "can I cut in please? You're having all the fun Adrikins and it just won't do!" Adrien feigned a serious glare before struggling to hide a knowing smirk down at his oldest friend.

"By all means Chlo."

It was time for the blonde to initiate the next part of their plan. Unbeknown to the couple behind them, their was a major revelation in store. Chloé stood up, "thank you," she dramatically flicked her hair before cocking her hip and shooting a pointed look at Lila. "That first lie you told," Chloé turned her gaze away and paid minimal attention to her nails while she asked aloofly, glancing at the indignant Italian from the corner of her eye. "Do you remember what it was?"

Lila's eyes narrowed as she let out a frustrated huff through her nose. Malicious intent danced in Chloé's eyes briefly, before she adopted a knowing grace to her posture.

"You lied about who your best friend was. You lied about being best friends with Ladybug, and you lied about being a hero."

Lila turned her attention to a smirking Adrien, the anger bubbling up inside only made her wish for an evil Akuma to come and give her an out from this mess. How things had changed for the liar. Chloé continued:

"But that wasn't the first lie actually, was it Alya?"

Alya felt the full force of Lila's hate being channeled through olive eyes and baring into her soul. Alya knew there were witnesses, but this next piece of information being unearthed was going to floor Lila. The repercussions for the reporters future could be dire if she had not done her research properly. Alya glanced quickly to Chloé with a somber nod, avoiding Blue and green confused eyes as she turned back to Lila and her mother.

"You both lied about Lila's age." She said matter of factly.

Both of the Rossi women stood wide eyed in shock at the accusation. Lila's mother composed herself quickly, replacing the shock with utter hatred for a girl she believed to be Lila's most faithful ally. Lila did not seem to have the ability to do the same this time, as she stood with her mouth gaping, pure panic on her face.

"I-I d-don-I have-" Lila's panicked stuttering was interrupted by a very unimpressed Madame Rossi.

"What gives you the right," she spat while approaching Alya, "to throw around such accusations."

"Because I have proof."

Madame Rossi stopped dead in her tracks, as Alya pulled out a copy of an official looking document.

"When I first realised how much Lila had been lying about, I wondered if that was her actual name." The spectacle wearing young woman explained. "All I needed to do, was a little digging into the records at Gabriel-"

Madame Rossi snarled. "That's breaking data protection-"

"Not when you have a warrant."

Madame Rossi turned to find a pink haired girl, sitting back and lazily chewing gum with her arms crossed, staring at her indifferently. "When you have enough grounds to believe unlawful misconduct has occurred, you can gain access to any information which may be useful to an investigation." she turned to the redhead sat beside her, "isn't that right Sabrina?"

The redhead nodded once, sternly pursing her lips as she did so.

"But you are only children! How did you?"

"That will be made clear soon enough Madame Rossi." Miss Bustier stated curtly, cutting the older Italian off so Alya could continue her explanation.

"You gave Gabriel HR Lila's actual birth certificate," she stated blankly while sliding the photocopy across the desk, leaving it in full view for two women two gaze upon with sheer fear of what was to happen next. These school children had blindsided the both of them. "Your daughter is three years older than you originally told the school."

Chloé cleared her throat as Nino gave Alya a supportive nod and thumbs up motion. Alya knew she and the others had a lot of ground work to put in before Marinette would even contemplate forgiving them for their atrocious treatment of her, but this was a start.

"And from the wonderful performance you have put on for us this morning," the blonde pointed between the two ladies, "we can determine that you scamming snakes had planned for everyone finding out about the spoken lies, but never actually thought this would come back to bite you in the ass!" Chloé finished triumphantly.

Marinette and Adrien were stunned by what they had seen and heard so far this morning, but it would appear that it was still not over, as Sabrina stood up.

"My father is already here waiting for you both."

"Madame Rossi, Lila," Miss Bustier pulled their attention to herself, addressing them curtly. "There are currently two recordings of this being made, one by Alya, and one by a camera which is upon my person. I suggest you try not to elaborate on, or fabricate anymore lies which will only help your opposition."

"you can't record us without our permission," Madame Rossi said with a hint of accomplishment. Almost as if she was daring anyone to try and prove her wrong.

"Actually," Nathaniel pointed to the 'recording in process' notices which were dotted around the place, "The notices are there, you just chose to ignore them."

Panic flashed across Madame Rossi's face once more. "This is all a big misunderstanding." Madame Rossi tried to wave off, even though it was pointless.

"We were fourteen..." Marinette looked over them both in disbelief. "I was fourteen when you threatened me, accused me, had me thrown out of school-you we're almost an adult when you started draping yourself over Adrien!" The bluenette was trying to come to terms with how sick this whole scheme had been. "You would have been eighteen not long after, and you were knowingly manipulating minors! What is wrong with you? How sick are you to think that any of this is just a misunderstanding?"

Marinette shook her head.

"You knew, you knew right from the beginning what Lila's plan was, otherwise you would not have deceived the school." Marinette closed her eyes sadly while speaking quietly, "what kind of a person does that make you?"

No one said anything, as they looked at an emotional Marinette stood at the back of the classroom. Her brow furrowed with utter confusion, as her battered mind was sliding the pieces to this sick jigsaw into place.

"You made my life a living hell Lila, why? Because you wanted to use Adrien, to obtain the life you think you're entitled to? I'm sorry Lila, but for to say that we could have ever been friends just leads me to pity how delusional you must be."

"Everything is set up outside." Kim stated quietly, as Marinette sat down and leant into a very angry looking Adrien. Two arms encased her protectively as he struggled to steady his own breathing.

Adrien growled with his eyes closed, seemingly trying to keep his cool. "They need to leave before I get my hands on them."
