Hikaru's POV

It's now October so that makes it officially 4 months since I made the worse mistake of my life. I've been too ashamed and guilty to even try to win her back. So the days carry on with me gazing at her longingly and her barely acknowledging I'm there. The only reason I get out of bed these days is to hopefully have just a little moment with her. Like maybe she bumps into me ,or her hand brushes mine as she walks by, or maybe she'll give me one of her signature small smiles. I'd take anything these days. I turn on the shower letting it warm up as I strip down, head filled with thoughts of Tsuki.

"Oh Hikaru are we showering now?" Kaoru comes in starting to undress as well

"Uh yeah... do you think I could be alone for today?" I say not sparing him a look.

" oh yeah... sure... are you okay?" I step into the steaming shower, the water burning my cold skin.

"Yeah ... I'm fine" Kaoru heads out closing the door behind him leaving me to finally be alone. I stand under the shower with my head leaning against the cool marble. Time skip Halloween courage contest

"We've been hiding here forever! We're bored" Kaoru and I whine out! We're currently participating in a test of courage with our class at the academy after school hours. At the moment us (team B ) are trying to scare any other team that walks by. For some reason though all we have is grey jelly on a string and a stick. I guess if all else fails we can throw it at people. I grin at my antics.

"Well at least you guys don't have to hid in this ridiculous dress" We all turn to look at Tsuki who is crouched down wearing a deep blood red kimono with extremely long/large sleeves that hung off her porcelain shoulders[see photo for reference]. Her hair was done up to mimic a bow on her head with red ornament pieces, pins, and flowers. Her makeup was very striking wearing more of it then her usual everyday look. The dark rouge she had smoked around her eyes made them stand out more than usual. Finishing off her haunting look with fake vampire teeth. She was very hard not to look at.

"Sorry Tsuki ... but it's not our fault you weren't listening when they said costumes not necessary" Haruhi laughs at the girl's struggle. Tsuki puffs up her cheeks as she begins to pout.

"It's not funny Haruhi *pout*"

"What's that noise?" We all turn to see a human skull coming down the stairs. We all scream in horror.

"It's a sneak attack from those A team hacks!" Kaoru exclaims

I kick the skull back up the stairs as I yell to them it's not there turn. Then at the top of the stairs we see the Evil Clock Tower Witch! We all scream louder than before and bolt off in different directions. Tsuki was running full speed ahead of me and I guess Kaoru and Haruhi took off the other way.

As we're running i see Tsuki trip over a trap wire causing us to get caught in a rope net hanging from the ceiling. We knock our heads together as we're strung up causing me to be slightly disoriented. When I finally clear my head a blush blooms on my face seeing the position we're in. My Right leg is stuck dangling out of a hole in the rope while my left leg is bent up on the net. I'm mostly sitting up but can't really move because In my lap sits a dizzy Tsuki. Her legs are straddling me on either side but it looks like they're both dangling out of the net. She's leaning against my chest as she struggles to clear her head

"Hey... are you okay?" I grab her shoulder pushing her up slightly so we're face to face with a slight height difference on my part.

"Yeah ...I'm fine. Wait... what happened... where are we!" She starts to panic and tries to move around but she just ends up falling back against me and giving me slight boner.

"Ow... stop moving ... just calm down... where just stuck in a net that's all."

"Mmmmm I'm scared... what if something scary comes while we're stuck in here... what if they forget about us and we have to spend the night in this net, what if..." I grab onto the sides of her face focusing her attention on me and trying to calm her down.

"It's fine don't worry I'll keep you safe. I won't let anything touch you." She stares back at me unsure. Her eyes glittering with worry.

"You promise..."

"I promise..."

I don't let go of her face as we hang there our eyes locked on one another. Both of us becoming highly aware of each other's close proximity. My eyes flicker to her lips. There tinted a slightly reddish pink and are slightly puckered from my hands still resting on her face.

"M..maybe we should .. call ... call ... for help" she whispers afraid to move not knowing what I'll do.

"Mmhhmmm" I mumble back still focused on her mouth.

"...hika..ru?"

With that I end the war with myself and just decide to do what I've wanted to do since the day she left.

Tsuki's POV

Shaky lips press against mine in an unsure kiss. His eyes searching mine for any sign of resistance. I stay completely still not sure what to do or how to react. The boy that broke my heart 4 months ago is now kissing me. He tries to get me to kiss back by beginning to move his lips against mine, but I still don't respond. He pulls back giving a small amount of space between our heated lips. He looks at me for any sign that he should continue but I just give him a blank empty stare back. He lets out a heartbroken sigh as he turns his head in shame refusing to meet my eyes, his hands dropping to my sides. Before I even know what I'm doing my hand slides up to the side of his face turning him to look at me. His eyes go large with surprise when I lean up to kiss him. All I knew is that I didn't want him to stop kissing me.

His hands grip at my waist through the thick fabric of my dress as he attempts to pull me closer. His lips move in perfect sync with mine like they've never known a time apart. I bring my arms around his neck so we're flushed against each. His lips push against mine as the growing need for each other intensifies. "Sorry we interrupted but we need to get going everyone's out in the main hall.

"You guys couldn't have waited a little bit longer!" Hikaru yells out
