"All for None? What the hell kind of stupid name is that kid." Stain looked down at the child who had the audacity to kick him in the face.
"Well hey if you call it stupid, it's gonna be your own fault when that stupid name is attached to the person who caught you." Izuku knew buying time here was the correct move, whatever Stain's quirk was it allowed him to make people freeze up and since he still hadn't been frozen the conditions to it hadn't been met. So it's not like Shinsou's, it must require some kind of physical contact then. Izuku readied tempo and fire breathing, the man in front of him was clearly skilled if he took down Iida and Native.
"You have some serious mouth on you brat. However the only person who I'll allow to defeat me is All Might and if your comparing yourself to him you better be prepared to hold up to the name." Stain charged at the boy only to jump backwards when the boy in question started breathing fire from the hole in his mask.
I thought his quirk was that Air Cannon thing, his surprise only lasted for a second before a figure leapt through the fire one hand behind his back producing air to propel themselves foward and the other raring to punch him. Stain lifted his blades ready to meet his attacker, only for the figure to suddenly duck low under his blade sweeping his legs out from underneath him before grabbing him and throwing him with enough force to break concrete. What the hell is this child, he grunted in pain.
Stain currently sat in a crater in the wall realizing that holding back here was not an option. He pulled himself out of the wall before speaking "I can see your not all talk, but nothing you've done so far reminds me of All Might."
"Oh don't worry I have no intention of being the next All Might." He smirked. "That's her job."
"Damn it Izu- I mean All for None could you slow down next time. Also why are both Iida and that hero on the ground." Momo asked her boyfriend as she took up a fighting stance, lightning crackling from her.
Native yelled at the two. "Be careful as soon as we got cut we couldn't move!"
Tenya couldn't believe it, they both came here for him? Why was he so useless. "Deva please take All for None and leave. I know your both strong but I refuse to be the reason you both die!"
"Another fake joins the fray. I hope you know if we clash the weaker will be culled." Stain let out his murderous intent as he fully prepared to fight this battle, these were no longer children but heroes who needed to be hunted.
"Can't do that Iida, if I ran here I could never be a hero." Izuku flashed the boy a thumbs up.
"Deva plan C." Izuku said without taking his eyes off of the villain in front of them.
Momo instantly reacted summoning multiple smoke grenades before tossing them forward while she jumped back forming thermal vision goggles in one hand and a tranquilizer gun in the other. Thankfully the build type between the Hero Killer and Izuku were very different or it would've been a lot harder to tell the difference between the two in the smoke. She took aim down the sights waiting for her chance.
Izuku's eyes hummed to life in the smoke registering his opponents location before he charged forward, his opponent's quirk was likely related to his weapon choice so like Native said I can't let him cut me with those blades.
Izuku was astounded at the strength of the man before him. He has double normal reaction time, can fly, breathe fire, literally create life, and regrow lost limbs but this guy is basically fighting quirkless with swords and matching him. People really oversell how powerful quirks are if a guy with swords can do this while blind. Izuku ducked another sword swing before blasting himself underneath the man, thankfully Izuku saw the twitch of the fingers of the other man's hand because he rapidly turned swinging with that hand only to hit the air where Izuku had been previously.
Izuku came down from above dropping a super strength air cannon powered axe kick into the man's skull hoping to end this fight quickly. Only for his body to freeze up, what he hadn't been hit?! He saw a scratch on his arm, THAT WAS ALL IT TOOK? SHIT SHIT SHIT. Izuku noticed the man had his tounge on the blade. THATS IT! "MOMO HE GOT ME! I THINK HIS QUIRK IS BLOOD, I DIDN'T FREEZE UP UNTIL HE LICKED MINE!"
The smokescreen had long since been cleared because of all of Izuku's air cannoning around but at those words she froze. She started unloading with everything she had at the hero killer only for the guy to cut the bullets out of the air. What... the... fuck? Damn it, I'm coming Izuku!
Momo charged in with 9% over her entire body only to freeze at the sight of Stain over her boyfriend sword poised to strike.
Well he figured out my quirk quickly enough. "You boy, you're worthy, I shall not be culling you tonight." Stain pointed his sword at Momo. "I am also willing to deem you worthy girl, step aside and you may live as well."
... Could she do that? Abandon her friend and a hero to die, all it would take is a single step. They both survive the night but Iida and Native die as a result. No! What was she thinking, she would never trade lives, no matter how scared she was of this man. "If I step aside would I still be a true hero?"
Stain just laughed. "You do get it girl! I'll do my best not to permanently injure yo-" Only for him to feel a new presence enter the arena, at the last second he instinctively dodged to the right. A second later a massive blast of ice hit the spot he had been previously.
"Midoriya you need to add more information in your text next time, your lucky I knew you weren't the type of person to send out your location for no reason." Todoroki added as he took a defensive stance between the hero killer and his soon to be latest victims.
Momo turned to look at the new arrival of Todoroki, with him here they could do this!
Stain let out a tch. "Another fucking child appears. STOP INTERRUPTING MY WORK!" With the boy behind him and those two children in front of him completing his task would be difficult to say the least.
He prepared himself before lunging back towards his targets only for the boy who used ice earlier emit flames from the other half of his body, he backed off once more. Stain's irritation was rapidly growing, he had 6 throwing daggers left he better make good use of them. Stain took this opportunity to charge once more, he would not let these false heroes survive the night, he threw multiple daggers at the girl.
Momo wasn't able to react in time, her opponents unexpected move caught her off guard, she didn't realize he could throw those things. She was only able to put her arm up in time to guard her face, she winced as the daggers landed in her arm with a dull thud.
Izuku felt himself slowly regaining control of his body as his fingers twitched. What? How was he free already Izuku had literally just been put under like 30 seconds ago.
Izuku stood before running he couldn't let his friends get hurt anymore. "GUYS I'M FREE I DON'T HOW HIS QUIRK WORKS EXACTLY BUT IT'S ONE OF THREE THINGS, THE AMOUNT INGESTED, IT GETS WEAKER THE MORE IT'S USED, OR IT'S BLOOD TYPE!"
Damn it that kid was smart, must be type - O too. He threw a dagger at the boy before launching a blade upwards in the direction of the ice boy dodging more bullets and ice as he went. As he neared the ice and fire he threw some more daggers at him before jumping off after his thrown sword. "You have some good friends brat, shame they decided to associate with the likes of you." He grabbed the blade he launched earlier slashing down about to end Todoroki's life.
Iida was finally feeling some movement, the quirk must be wearing off. He looked up to see Todoroki about to take a lethal hit. Iida had done it, he killed a friend. No he couldn't accept that, he would never accept that. He heard people yelling his name but he couldn't hear them he had a job to do after all.
Iida charged reciproboost before launching himself at Todoroki and Stain, he managed to get between the two taking the slash meant for Todoroki. His armor deflected some of the blow but he felt a heavy gash run across his chest. At least he saved Todoroki was the last thought before Iida blacked out to the screaming around him.
"Finally! One down one to go." Stain's eyes changed instantly to the crumpled up form of Native before using his current momentum to push further forward before he felt a small object pierce his body, one of those bullets must've finally hit. Stain felt his body starting to waiver but he refused, his justice was not yet dealt. He reflexively threw some daggers in the direction the bullets came from only for his aim to go wide, realizing he was on the verge of passing out he decided his last act would be ending Native. He summoned every vestige of tenacity he possessed before running haphazardly towards Native.
Izuku froze when he saw Tenya get stabbed stepping in between Todoroki and Stain taking the blow meant for the icy hot user. As Tenya crumpled Izuku noticed that Todoroki already had a few throwing daggers sticking out of his gut, which was followed by Stain casually shrugging off a tranquilizer that could put down an elephant. This had to be a scene from his nightmares but as with all things in life anger is a great motivator.
Izuku ROARED at the man who hurt his friends before charging him, any semblance of the word restraint had been lost and he threw the hardest punch he was capable of. He heard the snap of bone as the man's face twisted in an unnatural angle. Izuku then took the the man's face and smashed it against the pavement over and over and over, this man would pay for what he did to Tenya.
Momo watched in abject terror as her gentle boyfriend had been reduced to this savagery. She broke herself from the shock before running over to Izuku and forcefully ripping him off of the dead man. "IZUKU STOP ALREADY, PLEASE JUST STOP!" She couldn't bear to watch that scene ever again. "Please you have to save Iida it's not too late Izuku."
His anger receding, Izuku looked down and saw what remained of the Hero Killer's skull, it was a bloody pulp completely unrecognizable, Izuku had smashed his face into bits. He felt guilt, none like he had ever before, Momo was right what he had just done was not heroic at all, then he remembered what she said, IIDA. He ran over to the crumpled form of his friend literally ripping the quirks from him before he pumped regeneration into Tenya.
"Momo I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry please don't hate me." Izuku began weeping over the possibly dead figure of one of his best friends.
The girl was too busy patching up todoroki with gauze to console her boyfriend at the moment but as soon as she was done she was jumping him to let him know it's okay.
Todoroki looked at his now patched up stomach before he gave Yaoyorozu a knowing look. "Give me some gauze as well I'll go check up on Native. Plus Midoriya needs you right now." He spoke as monotone as ever but inside he was freaking out. Midoriya just killed a man, in front of a pro hero no less. There's no way this was getting swept under the rug, even if his shitcan of a father had killed on duty before it's different, he's a pro hero, they're allowed to do that. There's no way they'll let Midoriya get away with something like this, not to mention Todoroki was kind of scared at not how easily his friend had killed that man but the savage beating he gave him afterwards.
Native looked at the body of the murderer in front of him, his face completely unrecognizable. The same man had been seconds from ending his own life. He turned looking at the boy who committed the murder desperately standing over his friend trying to save him and sighed, this was really the only option wasn't it. "Kid ... tell them I did it. As far as I'm concerned I would be dead if you hadn't done that. I won't get into any trouble but you could get kicked out of the hero course if they found out about this."
Izuku was openly weeping both hands on Tenya as Momo hugged his back, he didn't even register the man was talking until Momo forced him to listen to Native. "I-I are you sure? It doesn't look good when heroes use lethal forc-c-ce." Izuku still hadn't come to terms with the fact that he murdered the Hero Killer, he was definitely still in shock. I mean I killed that Nomu as well but that thing wasn't really alive.
"Kid it was the Hero Killer, people will be cheering my name for doing this. Honestly I feel bad stealing the credit but like I said there's no way you wouldn't get in serious trouble for this. As a pro hero and a victim of his, thank you. By killing him here today you not only saved my life but saved the lives of any of his future victims. Murder in of itself isn't right but this was a life threatening situation and had you been a pro hero yourself I'd frankly be lauding the decision to kill him." Native explained matter of factly.
"I-I o-okay... Please take the credit. Momo and Todoroki y-you don't h-hate me right?" Izuku asked tears streaming down his face as he turned around to look at the both of them, making sure to maintain quirk use as he did so.
Momo simply whispered into his ear while hugging him deeper. "Of course I'd never hate you Izuku, I don't like to think murder was the only solution but look what that serial killer did to all of us." She gestured to her bandaged arm, Todoroki's gut and Iida still spread out before them.
Todoroki composed himself before he spoke. "Midoriya I almost died to that guy and he possibly killed Iida I hold nothing against you." The boy ended his quiet stare. "By the way the pros should be here soon as I told my father to send some after me. "Native killed the Hero Killer. It's as simple as that."
Izuku bit back even more tears, sniffling. "Thank you, y-you g-guys."

Native spoke once more trying to break the strangled silence. "Also what the hell is up with your quirk kid that it let's you do all that, and it also lets you heal people apparently?"
Izuku regained some of his composure. "I'm sorry but I'm legally unable to tell you, and you'll have to keep quiet about it as well Native. If Nedzu finds out you spoke about my quirk and he said I quote "I will destroy anyone who reveals the truth about your quirk is the most unethical fashion myself our great U.A.'s legal team are capable of." So yeah that."
Native paled before nodding in understanding.
The group returned to silence for what felt like hours although it was probably much less than that before Gran Torino showed up followed by many other heroes including Endeavour himself.
When the people in question arrived, they all visibly paused as they took in the carnage before them. Endeavour was the first to speak. "What happened here and is that the Hero Killer?!" Endeavour instantly began igniting his flames before Native managed to stop him.
"You don't need to Endeavour he's dead. He had seriously injured multiple of the kids and nearly killed that one in the armor so I decided he need be put down. I used the strength from my bear totem and snapped his neck after one of the student's managed to distract him long enough for me to get behind him. The bastard was tenacious which is why he's been beaten to such a bloody pulp. He put up quite the fight before I brought him down." Native explained to the number 2 hero.
"Hmph. If a low ranking unknown hero and some kids could take him down then he really wasn't that big of a deal in the first place. Either way good job, it's a shame I wasted my time in Hosu since he was going to be brought down anyway. Shouto are you alright?" Endeavour turned his gaze to his severely bandaged son.
"He managed get me with some throwing knives but it's nothing serious Endeavour." Todoroki spoke to his father.
"We will be doubling up your training then." Endeavour then remembered the conversation with Nedzu. "Within reason of course."
Izuku did a double take, what did Nedzu do to the man holy shit. He looked down at Tenya satisfied with his treatment as most of the wound was closed up already, thankfully it was a sword slice which is much easier to mend as it's simply reconnecting tissue and because it's so spread out it occurs from all sides of the wound speeding up the process greatly. "Momo do you have any of that gauze still I've gotten most of the bleeding to stop but I'd rather be safe than sorry also can any of you pros call a medical evac. Iida's been hurt bad."
Gran Torino was resisting the urge to smack his two internees for their stupidity but clearly they'd already been through enough tonight. Scolding them on top of nearly watching their friend die would be too much.
Thankfully Izuku hadn't deactivated thermal at all during the fight and he had kind of forgotten it was still on but that served as a boon when he spotted a large object closing quickly on their position, it seemed to be dive bombing them. Izuku wasn't the only as Gran Torino shouted at Izuku to dodge. Already haven activated Tempo Izuku jettisoned to the side only for the creature to grab Tenya instead
Izuku swore before flying after the creature but he was slowly losing it. Damn it Tenya how many times in one night is a villain going to get you. TENYA! THATS IT HE STILL HAS ENGINE, he didnt care if the people down there saw his second quirk use. Tenya was worth it, Izuku pointed his knees down at an angle to match his hands and ignited the engines pushing them with everything he had. He was now quickly gaining on the creature.
Once he finally got hold of the creature he pushed his arms out in front of him trying to create as much drag as possible by blasting himself towards the earth. The creature finally stopped moving and it was doing everything in its power just to hold itself aloft.
Izuku fought this thing tooth and nail for several long minutes or seconds who knows before finally endeavour caught up. The man had used flames on his feet to melt himself a path up the wall.
"Boy I'm going to incinerate the creatures head can you grab the other child?" Endeavour boomed questioningly at Izuku.
"Yes I can, please hurry!" Izukur screamed back at the man.
Izuku watched as true to his word blue flames erupted from the hands of Endeavour melting the creatures head entirely. Now no longer fighting back but before they began falling Izuku grabbed Tenya's body before slowing their descent to the ground with jetstream. Izuku quickly every quirk back in their correct place before he landed. The less questions the better.
Gran Torino had spared the boy previously but upon Izuku handing Tenya off to the medics he smacked the boy on his head. "You dumb rascal stop gallivanting into danger, you and that girl are worse than All Might! I swear. "
Izuku just sighed. "I'm sorry Torino." Tonight was such a shitshow and man he was going to get it later on. I'm sorry Nedzu, I'm sorry All Might and once Aizawa finds out I'm so screwed. They're all going yo want the truth. Izuku clambered into the back of the ambulance that had Momo and they sped off to the hospital together.
Shigaraki stared down at the city in flames, ah so beautiful. The carnage the smell of burning, chaos, sheer chaos and death, everything Shigaraki wanted. "If only that idiot Stain didn't get himself killed, I could've used him to make a nomu. Ah well I was going to kill him myself anyway, after all no one stabs me and gets away with it."
He scratched his neck furiously, not only that that damn brat got another one of his Nomu killed. Izuku Midoriya I swear you will suffer in unimaginable ways by the time I'm done with you you'll be begging for death.
"Was this the result you were looking for Tomura Shigaraki?" The mist man asked his ward.
Shigaraki looked up to see a helicopter was watching them from above, time to leave it seems. "Idiot that all depends on tomorrow. Take us home Kurogiri."
"Yes Tomura Shigaraki." He held up his hand and a portal came into existence. The last thing the camera crew saw was the backs of the two men as they walked through the portal disappearing into the night sky.
