Today was the day. No other day could wait, now is the time for his suffering to end.
Sasuke looked down on the red haired woman and shook her a bit. Mostly everyone was still asleep around this time so he had to be careful.
"Wake up loser.." He said and shook the girl roughly enough to make her glasses fall off as she groaned.
"S- Suigetsu... I swear i- if this is you... I'm gonna kill you-" She said tiredly while rubbing her eyes as she picked up her glasses and puts them.
She looked over to see the man of her dreams right there with the most serious look that she found handsome. She blushed right there and jumped right up.
"SASU-"
Before she could even freak out Sasuke put his mouth on her hand. She sighed in satisfaction which made Sasuke more annoyed.
"Urusai.." He told her.
Why is it always the people who are useful that have to be the most annoying..? He thought.
Karin nodded and Sasuke took his hand off her mouth. "Believe it or not, I'm gonna need your help.." He said.
"O- oh kami... m- my help?" She stuttered as her blush returned.
"Yes. But if you're not willing to help then I'll just leave-"
"No no no!" She said waving her hands. "I- I'll help you with anything Sasuke-kun.." She said blushing.
"We're going to an Akatsuki hideout.." Sasuke told her as she stood up next to him.
"Oh.. just the two of us??" Karin asked, fiddling with her fingers.
"No, I need two more people. That man Jugo and Suigetsu." Sasuke responded in an almost relieved tone.
Karin slouched. "Cmon Sasuke-kun... I get why we might need Jugo, but what can that lazy bastard Suigetsu be helpful of?" She asked.
"Just get ready, we need to leave before Hokage-sama wakes up.." He tells her and walks out the door. "I'll be at gate." He tells her.
The boy waited by the gate for at least 20 minutes, growing impatient.
Where the hell are those idiots..?
As if on cue, the three showed up together. Karin had an annoyed face but instantly put on a smile once she saw Sasuke. Suigetsu had his tired grin and Jugo had his stoic expression.
"Oi, Sasuke.. the hell you wake us up so damn early for?" Suigetsu said, yawning after.
"Not here, let's go.." Sasuke responded and the three people behind him looked at him suspiciously.
When they had gotten some distance from the village Sasuke had broken the awkward and uncomfortable silence. "We're going to an Akatsuki hideout.." He told them.
"WHAT?!!" Karin screeched.
"Chotto matte! Why bring us when we just got to the village?!!" Suigetsu complained.
"Hn." Was all the Uchiha responded with.
He noticed that the orange haired man, Jugo, was quiet and didn't seem to care much. Sasuke felt grateful that at least someone isn't as annoying.
"Because I wanna see if you all can be helpful, Karin, you can sense chakra. I need someone like you for this mission.." Sasuke responded.
"But why us though??" Suigetsu responded.
Sasuke continued walking against the dirt road. "You scared of the Akatsuki?" He asked Suigetsu.
"H- Hell no!" Suigetsu responded.
"Then stop bitching..." Sasuke responded bluntly and harshly.
Suigetsu growled. "Alright then.. 'Mr Tough Guy' Uchiha."
Sasuke ignored his comment and walked further than any of them. He was almost way ahead of them. He sighed.
"Pick up your feet and walk.." He said.
"Oi! We just woke up teme! Whatever you're trying to do it can't be that serious-"
Jugo put his hand up to silence Suigetsu before coming out of his silent shell. "You wanna kill your brother. Don't you Sasuke?" He asked.
When they caught up to him, Sasuke turned back around and answered Jugo's question.
"That's right.."
"How do you know you're ready?" Jugo asked.
"Because I have enough hate and power to take him head on.." Sasuke responded.
All three of them eyed him carefully. Karin could tell he was serious, that Sasuke wanted blood. His brother's blood.
Suigetsu slightly backed up and hid behind Jugo, it seems as if Sasuke's tone of voice and how he spoke kinda shook him a bit.
Jugo didn't pay much attention and just followed Sasuke. But he knew that this wasn't going to be a quick battle. Blood and so much power was definitely promised.
Time Skip
Sakura's POV
Sakura was in a peaceful sleep. She went to sleep very late and was supposedly supposed to have a peaceful sleep until she heard a knock downstairs and her mom talking.
Sakura pulled the blanket over her whole body until her mom called her. "Sakura!!"
Sakura ignored her mom, trying to pretend she was still asleep. Not to mention that if her sleep is ruined, she will get grumpy easily.
"Sakura!! Hinata is here! She said Hokage-sama summoned you!!" Her mom said.
Sakura's eyes quickly shot open and she sat up quick and quickly changed into her clothes. After a few moments she finally looked presentable and rushed downstairs and put her shinobi sandals on.
She saw Hinata outside and she had a worried face. "Hinata? What does Tsunade-sama want? I thought we got a day off?" Sakura asked.
"I- I don't know, an ANBU member came to our door and t- told me the same thing your mom just told y- you.." Hinata responded.
Sakura and Hinata walked to the hokage mansion in silence and saw Shino and Kiba, alongside Akamaru, at the steps as well.
"K- Kiba-kun? Shino-kun?" Hinata stuttered.
"Let me guess, Tsunade-sama called you three here too?" Sakura asked.
Akamaru barked. "Yeah, apparently Kakashi and Yamato should be here too.." Kiba told them.
"Seeing how the hokage sent ANBU to us, it must be urgent." Shino responded.
All of them walked upstairs and walked through the halls to the office. They opened it to see Kakashi, Orochimaru, Yamato, Sai, and TenTen there. Their heads turned towards the door and Kiba looked at them worried.
Everyone seemed to be extremely serious today. Sakura stood in front of everyone and cleared her throat. "Tsunade-sama, you called for us?"
"That's right.." Tsunade responded with her arms crossed under her chest. She sighed and shook her head. "Sasuke and three of Orochimaru's people are not in the village." She told them.
Sakura and everyone else's gasps could be heard. She wanted to immediately ask if they're betraying them but didn't want to quickly assume stuff.
"We sent ANBU all around the village to find them, not a single person was here." Kakashi told her.
"W- Why?? Why would t- they just leave without telling us?" Hinata asked.
"I may be wrong... but I suspect that Sasuke is finally going to cut the ties from his brother, Itachi." Orochimaru responded.
Tsunade chuckled in irritation. "The damned brat knew I wouldn't let him go so he snuck out this morning." She said through gritted teeth.
Orochimaru put his hand on her shoulder to keep her from making a mess in the hokage mansion.
"Sakura... Tsunade-sama called us all here because she wants us to make sure he doesn't get to Itachi.." Yamato said.
"You're all to capture Itachi and bring him here immediately!" Tsuande ordered.
"But how? It's said that Itachi is one of the strongest members in the Akatsuki! Not to mention that his genjutsu is unbelievable." TenTen complained.
"Other Akatsuki members might be there too, this won't be very easy now that I think about it.." Sai said.
"This job is most likely fitting for Kakashi and Yamato and even ANBU... why us?" Shino asked.
"Because I believe you guys can actually pull it off, throughout the years you've been proving to me that you've all gotten stronger. Especially Sakura, considering she is my student.." Tsunade said. "Neji, Shikamaru, and Lee are either on another mission or doing something important, same for the rest.."
"Well, seems like you've already made up your mind Tsunade. When will you like us to head out?" Kakashi responded.
"Like I'm going to let you all wait." She muttered. "Right now! Sasuke and his team are most likely rushing there as of right now." Tsunade responded.
"Alright, guess I'll have Pakkun sniff him out." Kakashi responded.
"Akamaru and I will back you up.." Kiba responded.
"Tsunade-sama..." Sakura said in a low tone. Everyone turned their heads to her. "What if the masked man is out there? What if he's trying to also kill Itachi...? What do you want us to do when we see him?" She asked.
Tsunade stood up and looked out her window and sighed. "Almost forgot that bastard is still roaming around.." She said. She looked down over the village. "Bring him here too, we need answers from him too. And if he won't cooperate, kill him.." Tsunade responded.
"Hai.."
Tsunade turned around with a determined expression on her face. "Alright! Konoha's Eight Man Squad, your job is retrieve Itachi Uchiha and bring him here immediately! Got it?"
"Hai!" Everyone said together.
Naruto's POV
Naruto was walking around the Leaf village looking for something to eat before he heads out to find Pein. He knew infiltrating the rain village wouldn't be easy so he had to at least kill time and plan ahead on how he's going to take down the leader.
He also might even have backup for all he knows. He walked to a dango shop and ordered mitarashi dangos.
He couldn't help but feel as if something's wrong. Kurama was quick to notice his behavior.
Don't worry too much kit.
What if Itachi was lying..? What if he's not in the rain village and when I get there, the entire Akatsuki is there too..
Hmm... then don't go, stay here and let the enemy come to you... no need to rush in and go crazy.
Naruto walked into an alleyway and took off his mask and began feasting on the dango's. They were pretty good.
But then again, I could tell in Itachi's words that he was telling the truth. His tone, how he explained his story to me... would he really lie?
Only one way to find out, kit..
Naruto finished up the dango's and just threw the stick on the ground and fixed his mask and stepped out the alleyway. A kid bumped into his leg and fell on the ground. Naruto turned quick to see a girl with byakugan eyes and dark long hair.
Hyuga? Who the hell are you?
"Watch where you're going." Naruto said harshly.
The Hyuga girl narrowed her eyes at him as she stood back up. "Hanabi!!" He heard another girl call out.
Naruto got out of plain sight just in case it's someone who might recognize him. He listened to the two converse, he didn't even know why.
They're just little kids, not like anything they say is useful.
"Hanabi, didn't your sister leave the village along with others?" A girl with orange hair asked.
Moegi..
"Yeah, we received a letter from the Hokage saying that Sasuke Uchiha and a few others, left the village to find Itachi. She wants big sister and the rest to find Itachi first.." Hanabi responded.
I stand corrected, this is actually some good news, won't have anyone trying to attack me now.
"The Hokage also sent someone else too? She sent them to go find the leader of the Akatsuki.." Moegi said.
Naruto's eyes narrowed.
"Seems that way, come on.. let's get on back to the academy.." Hanabi said as they ran off together.
Naruto grumbled and quickly jumped from building to building as he left Konoha. He ran faster than he usually does which made Kurama chuckle.
That got you off your feet didn't it, kit?
The hell is baa-chan thinking, sending someone all alone to find Pein. Doesn't matter, I'm gonna find him myself..
Naruto's feet stomped against the ground with every step he took while running before jumping into the trees as he rushed over to the Rain village.
Sasuke's POV
Sasuke and his squad were currently jumping through trees, nearing their destination. Like before, the Uchiha was ahead of them.
Everything seemed to be going okay for the most part but then Karin sensed a lot of chakra coming their way.
"Sasuke! A I sense a lot of chakra heading our way, I don't know if it's Akatsuki or Konoha!" She informed him.
"Hn.. as figured.." Sasuke responded.
He started to pick up the pace now as Karin and the rest also tried to keep up. They landed on a cement rooftop. When they were about to run ahead someone jumped in front of then all. He had a wrapped blade and sharp teeth and blue skin with very pale white eyes.
Kisame... heh. What a surprise.. Suigetsu thought.
Sasuke activated his sharingan in case Kisame tries to stop him.
"This is as far as you go. At least for the three behind you Sasuke." Kisame told them. "The only person Itachi-san wants to see is his brother, the rest of you have to stay here.."
"Not a problem.." Sasuke responded.
"Sasuke, no way in hell you're going alone!" Karin argued.
"I'm really not in the mood to fight or argue. Sasuke goes alone, it's Itachi's orders." Kisame told them as he stood tall.
"Karin, it's alright... if Kakashi or anyone else gets here, don't fight them. Reason with them.." Sasuke told her.
"B- But-"
Sasuke then jumped farther ahead and left everyone there and continued on ahead. His nails dug into his palm, today is the day he ends it all. Right here, right now..
Right up ahead Sasuke saw a building, he could already feel a presence of someone inside. His brother, to be exact. His Sharingan flared red as he walked further and closer to the building. Years of pent up hate and anger and so much training had led to this moment. He wasn't gonna lose, not here.
He arrived and stepped inside the very dark and big building. He saw a throne like chair and someone was sitting in it, he had an Akatsuki robe and his legs were crossed.
"Answer truthfully. What do you see with thoss Sharingan eyes..?"
Sasuke narrowed his eyes as he stepped closer to the man sitting down.
"I could see plenty of things. But the most clear thing I could see, is your death, Itachi." Sasuke responded.
Itachi eyed his brother. He can tell that Sasuke did not come to screw around. This certainly wasn't going to be like last time at the hotel.
"My death? Hm.. it has been a long time Sasuke, but if what you say is true.."
In an instant Itachi appeared right next to Sasuke with a kunai in his hand. "Make it happen.." He told him and in an instant Sasuke took out his sword and it came in contact with Itachi's kunai.
The fight has begun..
Naruto's POV
Naruto had been jumping through trees for almost 30 minutes but it felt like hours with every step he took. He was determined to kill Pein today, nothing was going to get in the blond's way.
Or so he thought..
When he heard something close by he activated his Sharingan, in case of enemies, and looked over to see paper bombs lit up.
Son of a bitch!
Naruto quickly tried to jump but the paper bombs blew up and messed up his landing. He came falling down onto the grass and tried to get up, surprisingly, his mask hasn't broke yet.
Kit, I sense people. They're very close!
Naruto opened his eyes and quickly stood up only to be surrounded by eight people. But these weren't Akatsuki or any other people from villages.
These are people he knows.
"Kakashi-sensei! That's him, the guy Shikamaru told us about!" Kiba exclaimed.
Naruto was aware of his surroundings. Kiba, Shino, Hinata, TenTen, a pale boy who looks around his age, a sensei, Kakashi, and Sakura.
You gotta be shitting me..
"SHANAROO!!"
Naruto felt someone charging at him and quickly turned around to see Sakura holding out her fist, bringing it towards him.
"Sakura wait!!" Kakashi called out but it was too late.
Naruto smirked. A very strong wind erupted from where he was standing and almost knocked everyone back. They all looked to see Sakura's fist in the hands of the masked man.
Sakura's eyes almost widened.
H- He b- blocked it??!
"Such strength... show me more. Entertain me." Naruto said behind his mask.
Sakura then noticed the Sharingan in the eyehole. She jumped out of the man's grasp and stood where she was standing at first.
A- An Uchiha?! Impossible!!
"I really don't feel like fighting, at least not you guys." Naruto said
"Don't underestimate us!" Kiba shouted.
Wood then emerged from the ground which shocked Naruto enough, considering no one should be able to possess wood style after the 1st Hokage.
Naruto just jumped to try and avoid the wood so he doesn't get captured or killed. He then noticed Akamaru turned into Kiba as both of them rushed over to him.
"Gatsuuga!"
Kiba and Akamaru both began spinning like a tornado and rushed towards Naruto. Naruto quickly made a hand sign.
"Kage bushin no jutu.." Naruto muttered as a shadow clone appeared and grabbed his hand and tossed him against a tree to escape the wood.
The shadow clone disappeared because of Kiba and Akamaru, and so did the wood as Naruto looked down upon there
Naruto then looked over to see a black and white tiger charging him. Naruto ran up against the tree and put force into his feet to jump off and take out his sword and stab the tiger drawing.
The ink then splashed against the ground as Naruto landed right by Kiba and kicked him into the Akamaru, who was disguised as Kiba, and they both ran into a tree.
"Yamato... watch my back.." Kakashi said.
Naruto turned around only for his sword to meet with a kunai. Kakashi stood in front of him, his Sharingan also flaring.
"You're really good for someone short." Kakashi said. "That shadow clone jutsu, it reminds me of someone I once knew."
"I don't give a damn." Naruto responded as he jumped away.
Shino sent a lot of bugs Naruto's way and he quickly made a few handsigns.
This better work damnit..
"Katon: Gokakyu no justu!"
Naruto exhaled a huge fireball towards Kakashi and TenTen but Yamato quickly used his wood style to shield them both.
The fire tried to burn through and Yamato made a hole in the wood as TenTen used a justu.
Naruto unexpectedly then saw a few kunai's heading towards him with an angry Sakura coming from his right and Hinata on his left.
Shit..
Naruto knew he was going to feel some damage but he was going to have to take a risk. A risk that could give away his identity.
"Kage bunshin no justu.."
Naruto took out his sword as the two shadow clones appeared.
Let's go, Kurama!
Yeah!
Naruto then had the Nine-Tails chakra leak out of him and his shadow clones, which made everyone's eyes wide.
The two shadow clones grabbed both Hinata and Sakura by the arm and kept a very tight grip.
Perfect..
Naruto noticed the kunai's still heading his way as he took out his sword and stabbed the shadow clone that was holding Sakura and jumped midair as a few kunai's hit his leg, arm and scratch against his mask.
He appeared behind Sakura and gave her painful kick to the back which sent her flying into Hinata as the other shadow clone disappeared.
This gave him time to take out a few paper bombs and throw them down towards everyone. They had to act quick.
"Everyone get away now!!!" Yamato yelled.
Sai quickly drew a lion which grabbed Sakura and Hinata midair. Everyone tried to get to a safe distance in less than two seconds at least.
"Until we meet again... Konoha scum.." Naruto said as the bombs blew away and he quickly got out of there.
He jumped from tree to tree again as the explosion rumbled that someone from a mile away could hear it. He had a smirk behind his mask but soon felt pain in his arm and stomach as the Nine-Tails chakra went away.
He slightly chuckled from the minor pains as he continued making his way towards the rain village.
"What a bunch of pests.."
Sakura's POV
The explosion came to a stop as smoke filled the air and went into everyone's lungs which made them cough disgustingly.
Sakura felt pain from her back because of the kick the masked man gave her but she fought it off as she stood back up coughing.
"I- Is everyone alright??" Kakashi asked and everyone either responded with a verbal 'yes' or a nod.
Kiba crawled over to Hinata who was slowly getting up. "Hinata! Oi, are you okay?!" He asked protectively.
"I- I'm fine, Kiba-kun." She responded and coughed afterwards as everyone got back up as well.
Sai and TenTen stood up and looked around as Shino got back up as well. "Where'd he go?" Tenten asked.
"Hell if I know.." Kiba responded as Akamaru came up next to him and whined.
"He got away.." Sakura responded.
"He's probably heading to Itachi and Sasuke, we gotta move quick. Remember the mission! Capture Itachi!" Yamato ordered and everyone nodded as they got back up on their feet and continued jumping.
Such strength... he had the Nine-Tails cloak as well! Gotta let Tsunade-sama know that there is a new Nine-Tails jinchūriki!
Sasuke's POV
Sasuke and Itachi were still having their own tough battle. Itachi had to admit that Sasuke has indeed gotten stronger, if they keep it up, this battle could end in both of them dying.
Itachi earlier had put Sasuke in a genjutsu but his little brother had broken out of that painful illusion that made it so Itachi took out his eye.
The two had been going at it for a while to the point Sasuke forced Itachi out the building and onto the rooftop. Sasuke looked up at the crack in the he left when he made a substitution jutsu as his curse mark form began to take over.
This is it..
The curse mark finally took over and Sasuke made a hand sign and inhaled deep.
Katon: Goryuka no Jutsu!!
A fire dragon then emerged and broke through the roof and almost Itachi was barely able to dodge it. The Uchiha was getting blind from using the Sharingan too much and needed to end this quick.
Just when Itachi thought it was done, more fire dragons broke through to the point where the rooftop had a giant hole.
Itachi was still able to dodge them but unfortunately he was still very exhausted after using Amaterasu, a black flame from the users vision.
Sasuke also was exhausted too and out of chakra as he tried to catch his breath. The curse mark went away and Sasuke smirked. Though he was out of chakra, he had the ultimate jutsu that could just kill Itachi.
Thunder clouds started to form and thunder emerged over Itachi's head.
"Now here... right here... is where I'll recreate your death Itachi.." Sasuke said as he jumped up onto the roof and raised his hand in the sky.
A thunder dragon then emerged from the sky as Itachi looked up at it in disbelief. This jutsu was definitely going to be unavoidable.
"Now... you die by my hands Itachi... this all ends here!!" Sasuke yelled as he brought his hand down and the lightning dragon came down and completely obliterated everything around it, a loud rumble shook the area completely from this powerful jutsu.
Naruto's POV
Naruto had finally stepped foot into the rain village and sighed in relief before smirking.
He finally made it.
He had been running around because he sensed chakra nearby, and a lot of it. It was really strong and I knew who it was instantly.
Kurama..
I know kit, he's here..
Village is pretty big this might take awhile
Naruto then looked over and saw 7 people in the sky, on of them holding the man by the throat, he looked a little familiar but the sun was blocking his view that Naruto couldn't really think of anyone to fit the description.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!
A shadow clone appeared and they both ran over to where the whole thing was happening.
"PEIN!!!" He yelled out as he charged over.
Sasuke's POV
Sasuke almost passed out from the enormous amount of chakra he needed for Kirin to work. His breathing began to sound like wheezing a bit, this whole fight with Itachi was exhausting but he still kept going to win this battle.
"Was this supposed to be my death...?"
Sasuke's eyes widened in shock as he heard Itachi spoke. He looked up to see his brother slowly getting up. It was as if, his kirin was like a simple chidori.
Sasuke noticed the blood that was coming out Itachi's mouth. His kirin did in fact do a lot of damage, but it wasn't enough.
"I- Impossible..." He grumbled. "Impossible!! IMPOSSIBLE!! DAMN YOU!!" He yelled with anger.
Sasuke then noticed red flames that surrounded Itachi as his brother sat up fully. The flame grew bigger and bigger and formed a skeleton in the flame.
"I'll acknowledge your strength... Sasuke." Itachi said. "Without this, I surely would've died."
Sasuke shook his head in disbelief, he was also confused about what this skeleton flame is that surrounds Itachi.
"But now, it's time I show you my trump card. The Susano'0.." Itachi said as he stood tall.
Sasuke's curse mark deactivated, low on chakra. He wasn't sure if he was able to keep this up any longer. He knew Itachi would be strong, but he never expected him to survive something so deadly.
"If you have another jutsu Sasuke, use it.. otherwise, the real battle is just continuing." Itachi told him.
Sasuke noticed the Susano'o began to have more appearance. At first it was a skeleton, but now it has a shield and armor. Just how strong is this?
Sasuke fell to his knees, not wanting to accept his fate just yet. He wasn't going down this easy.
"Now... those eyes, Sasuke. Those eyes will finally be mi-"
Itachi then began gagging before coughing up lots of blood onto his mouth. He was running out of time.
Sasuke looked up fearfully as Itachi tried to regain his composure but also noticed that the Susuano's form went back to a simple skeleton.
He took the time to take out a few paper bombs and threw them so that they exploded, but nothing happened.
Itachi looked back up and began to slowly and weakly walk towards his frightened little brother.
"Kuso... kuso! Kuso! Kuso!!" Sasuke exclaimed as he threw more paper bombs.
But no matter how much he threw, it was no use.
"Your eyes... Sasuke... they... belong... to... me..." Itachi said as he continued to walk.
Sakura's POV
Sakura and the rest made it to where they felt the rumble coming from and what they all saw was beyond shock. There were black flames surrounding the area, but up ahead they saw red flames.
"Kakashi-sensei! U- up there!" Hinata pointed.
"Oi.. what is that?!" Kiba asked worriedly.
Kakashi's eyes widened. "Kuso! Everyone we need to get there quick!"
Sakura and the rest continued running but the black flames worried them. "Kakashi-sensei, what is that?" She asked worriedly.
"Amaterasu... Itachi's technique. It's a never ending flame that doesn't go out until it burns its target completely. Yamato..." Kakashi said.
"On it. Doton Doryuukatsu!" Yamto shouted.
The ground began to rise up along with the flames before splitting in two, the flames were out of the way.
"Everyone go quickly! I'll hang back here.." He told them.
"Alright, everyone follow me!" Kakashi ordered.
Sakura ran up ahead the rest of them in an instant, not wanting to waste any time as the others followed.
Sasuke... don't die.. don't you dare die like this!
"Sai, get us up there!" Sakura said.
"Hai.."
Sai quickly drew 2 hawks and they all came out of the paper and 3 boarded one eagle while the other 4 boarded the other.
Sai guided the eagles up into the sky and to their destination and they saw the destruction and the event that is happening right now.
The eagles landed on the rooftop before dispersing into ink.
Everyone saw Sasuke backed up against the wall helpless and Itachi taking more steps. Getting closer and closer by the second.
"SASUKE!! GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE NOW!!!" Sakura yelled.
But Sasuke was frozen, he could hear her, but his body was completely frozen. Sakura decided to just forget about the consequences and rushed towards him.
"SASUKE!!"
"WAIT!! SAKURA!!"
"S- Sakura-san!!" Hinata called out as she followed.
Naruto's POV
Naruto made it to wherever the battle was happening, he saw nothing but destruction and water. He looked down and saw a man with five holes in his back. Blood surrounded the man.
Naruto them looked over to see 6 people with orange hair and Akatsuki cloaks. Anger built up in him.
"PEIN!" He called out. "PEIN!! I'M RIGHT HERE!!!" He shouted and watched as they 5 stopped and turned around.
Pein looked and saw a masked man standing a few feet away from the man who laid on the ground.
"Naruto Uzumaki..." Pein whispered.
Naruto took off his mask and dropped it. "I'm right here Pein! It's just me and you now!Today... you die!!" Naruto yelled but Pein wasn't even fazed by his words.
"So weak.." Pein said as he and the rest turned back around.
"OI!! I'm talking to you!!"
Naruto and his shadow clone began rushing towards them all with a Rasengan in their palms.
"You just don't listen.."
The 5 Pein's all jumped and kicked the shadow clone into the real Naruto and watched as it disappeared.
One of the Pein's then took the time to kick Naruto in the gut as the two others sent a punch to his chest which almost shattered his ribs.
Naruto then fell against the cement ground next to the dying man.
"You're not ready Naruto. At least when it comes to me. When we meet again, I won't go easy.." Pein said before him and the rest jumped away from this incident.
Naruto sat up, clutching his stomach in pain. "F- Fucking.. bastard." He grumbled.
"N- Na... ru... to..."
Naruto turned to where he heard the voice. It was coming from the man on the ground who was slowly.
"I- Is... it... really..." The dying man spoke as he slowly approached his final breaths.
Naruto narrowed his eyes. This man was talking to him as if he knew him personally.
"Who the hell are you?? And what the hell happened?!" Naruto asked but the man could barely speak.
"Answer me!!" Naruto yelled but the man laid quiet before whispering something that Naruto couldn't quite hear.
What the hell are you even saying??
Sasuke's POV
Sasuke was still backed up against the wall as his older brother finally approached him. Sasuke looked over to see that Sakura and the rest were still too far.
Damn it... it's too late..
Right here, Sasuke finally accepted his fate. He knew he was going to die so he didn't even try running away.
Itachi then lifted his finger and began to move it towards Sasuke's face and all Sasuke could do is watch. It's like everything was slowed down for him.
"SASUKE!!!" He heard Sakura screech.
He didn't notice it. But Itachi said something before smirking as he brought his two fingers closer. Sasuke waited for his life to be cut short until something, unexpected happened that both him and his friends never would've thought.
Itachi poked Sasuke's forehead and rested it there for a few seconds, but honestly seemed like an eternity. His bloodied fingers stayed like that until it began to move down Sasuke's face. The blood trail going all the way down to his chin as the fingers were finally off his face.
The Susano'o went away quick as Itachi began to fall down, his head hitting the cement wall before he laid lifeless on the cold ground.
Sasuke stood there frozen and shocked. He should be dead, he knew that he should be dead... but instead...
Sasuke slowly turned his head to see his brother laying dead on the ground and he felt as if his whole world was turning upside down.
"S- Sasuke-kun..." He heard a soft angelic voice and turned to see Hinata standing there.
He then felt his legs getting weak as he began to fall down as well but Hinata caught him and held him in her arms. "Sasuke-kun..." She said softly as she looked down at the weak and exhausted Uchiha.
"H- Hinata..." He managed to say.
"We're here... all of us.." Hinata said as she grabbed his hand and held it in hers.
The last thing Sasuke saw before blacking out was her face, and her soft smile and heard faint voices.
Naruto's POV
Naruto heard the man muffle something but couldn't quite hear it.
Fuck it..
Naruto then carefully put his hands on the man's side and turned him over. He struggled a bit because of how heavy the man was but managed.
Naruto's eyes then widened in complete shock. What he saw was... devastating...
He felt the whole world slow down as he looked down at the man in disbelief.
"J- J- Jiraiya... s- sensei...?"
He didn't want to believe it. Not even a little bit. He kept telling himself that this isn't Jiraiya.
No... no no no... t- this isn't him... i- it can't be...
But no matter how many times he told himself that, it ended up to be true. Jiraiya laid down before him with a smile on his face.
"W- Why..." Naruto whispered. "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE?!!! YOU SHOULDN'T BE HERE!!!" Naruto yelled at the top of his lungs.
"WHY?!! WHY?!!"
Naruto couldn't help but let tears pour out of his eyes as they fell down onto Jiraiya's face. The Toad Sannin slowly raised his hand and lightly touched Naruto's face. The blond cried harder than he'd ever had.
"You... have... n- no... i- idea... how... happy... I- I...am... to see... y- your... face.." Jiraiya whispered faintly.
"I... I... missed you... kid..." He said.
Jiraiya's hand then went limp as it fell against the cement. Naruto's eyes opened and saw the man was no longer breathing, his eyes shut... and his smile never left his face.
"N- No... no, no, no... stay with me Pervy Sage. Please, PLEASE stay alive.." Naruto begged as he held Jiraiya's lifeless hand.
"Damn it..."
Naruto couldn't stop himself from crying as he began to punch the ground over and over to the point it felt like his knuckles were broken and blood was leaking out.
His body trembled as his brain put the pieces together, he hiccuped and could not stop the tears pouring out. He balled up his fists to the point his nails were digging into his palm.
He let out a hurt and angry scream. His mind was all over the place as he tugged on his hair hard to the point he could pull it out.
He was breathing hard as he backed away from Jiraiya's body in fear.
"WAKE UP!! PLEASE!!! WAKE UP PERVY SAGE!! WAKE UP!!!" He screamed but it was no use whatsoever.
"Wake up... please... please wake up.." He whispered as he laid against the cement ground and continued to cry.
He hated the Leaf, no doubt about it. But seeing his old sensei laying dead, it tore him apart, he doesn't know why he's feeling this way but he does.
His body felt weak as he just laid there crying, not caring if Pein came back to kill him. For the first time... Naruto felt broken... he felt weak..
Sakura's POV
Sakura stood over Sasuke's body and tried her best to heal the damages done to his body. She backed away from his body and reported to Kakashi.
"I healed him as much as I could but it probably wasn't enough. Tsunade-sama is more likely fit for this than I am.." She told him.
"Thank you, Sakura..." Kakashi said and Sakura just nodded and they both looked down at Itachi's body.
Sasuke... you actually did it.
"Kakashi-sensei... what now?" TenTen asked.
"I don't sense that masked guy..." Kiba said as Akamaru barked.
"Should we head back?" Shino asked.
"Our plan was to retrieve Itachi... but..." Sai said before he stopped.
Kakashi closed his eyes and sighed. "Come on, let's head back... report to Tsunade that this mission... resulted in failure.." He told them.
Hinata tried her best to pick up Sasuke and Sai helped her out too and placed him on an eagle.
"Should we get the others that came with Sasuke?" Hinata asked.
"Yeah... I suppose so..." Kakashi responded.
Sakura got back on one of the eagles alongside TenTen, Shino, and Kiba before it took off.
Naruto's POV
Naruto sat back up after almost 20 minutes of tears. His eyes were stained red as he stared at Jiraiya's body.
Both his Sharingan's then flared before changing into something different. The shape looked like a shuriken. He felt shivers go down his body a bit as it finished.
He had finally acquired the Mangekyo Sharingan.
Not only that but now Naruto was no longer sad...
He was pissed. Beyond pissed off.
He got back up on his two feet and wiped his eyes before grabbing his mask. He balled up his fists. Pein kept crossing his mind and it just made him even more pissed.

Get all the rest you need. I'm done fucking around now.
Naruto stomped off towards the exit of the village. Nothing but hatred filled his heart as he thought of Pein every second.
I'm gonna fucking kill him... slowly... painfully... he doesn't deserve to fucking live... it should be me... only me... if anyone gets in my way I'll fucking kill them too. Believe it...
Naruto continued stomping off, he had the intention to kill Pein. He never wanted someone dead so bad than he does now... he doesn't know know exactly when... but he knew the moment he sees Pein, he won't show any mercy and won't hesitate to make his death more painful then Deidara's.
From this day on... Naruto was never the same again..
