The Dragon of Ice
Chapter 24: Master Monk Guan
The five monks were walking through a rainforest looking for a new Shen Gong Wu, the Lasso Boa Boa.
Alice wore a short sleeveless blue dress with buttons all down the front and blue flats. The waist was cinched with a thin brown belt and there were two pockets on either side of the chest. Her pink hair was styled in two braided ponytails with blue ribbons on them.
Kimiko wore a dark green long sleeved shirt that was decorated with small dark pink buttons. On her head she wore a dark pink floppy hat and skirt with pink green boots.
"Dojo!"Kimiko said. "Would you hurry it up!"
Dojo tiredly followed the monks, but couldn't tell the direction where the Shen Gong Wu was.
"Okay! Okay!"Dojo responded tiredly. "It's there! No! There! No! No! Over there!"
"Dojo are you sure it's a Shen Gong Wu your sensing and not that very big large spider?"Omi asked.
"Like I'm going to fall for that one."Dojo chuckled.
Dojo turned around and a spider dangling on his tail causing him to shriek.
"Spider!"Dojo panicked.
Dojo clenched onto Alice's shirt causing Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo and Clay to laugh.
"What a Dojo!"Clay laughed.
"Don't worry, Dojo."Alice assured. "I hate spiders as well. Mostly tarantulas."
The five monks walked up to a tree that had something dangling on it.
"That's it!"Dojo stated. "The Lasso Boa Boa! When activated it transforms into a bone-crushing constrictor."
"And now it's mine!"Omi announced proudly.
Omi notice the glares that Kimiko, Raimundo, Alice and Clay were giving him causing the Dragon of Water to quickly correct himself.
"Ours."Omi corrected.
Then Jack and Wuya arrived in the rainforest.
"Not so fast!"Jack stated. "First you have to get through me, Jack Spicer and my army of Wuya-Bots!"
A bunch of Wuya-Bots appeared around Jack.
"How horribly."Omi said distastefully.
"Darn ugly."Clay agreed.
"Che schifo."Alice retorted.
"Gross."Raimundo muttered.
"Ew!"Kimiko scoffed.
"Wuya-Bots, attack!"Jack ordered.
The Wuya-Bots flew forward and started firing ink causing the monks to quickly to destroy them.
"My Wuya-Bots!"Jack panicked.
"Don't just stand there!"Wuya reminded with a glare. "Get there and fight!"
"I would, but..."Jack started and began fake coughing. "If it weren't for this."
More Wuya-Bots headed towards the monks.
"Dragon X Kumei Formation!"Omi ordered.
Raimundo, Kimiko, Omi, Alice and Clay formed the Dragon X Kumei Formation causing the remaining Wuya-Bots to be taken down.
Jack flew away in fear.
"Jack!"Wuya snapped. "Your an embarrassment to evil everywhere!"
Alice looked at the black ink in her clothes in disgust.
"Ugh, it's going to take weeks to remove this stain."Alice complained.
"Chill out rabbit head, it's just a stain."Raimundo said simply.
Alice angrily grabbed Raimundo by the shirt.
"This dress costed £356!"Alice admitted with a glare.
"Oh."Raimundo chuckled nervously. "Sorry."
A man wearing orange clothing walked up to the monks while holding Lasso Boa Boa.
"I believe this is yours."the man said. "Allow me to introduce myself I'm-"
"You are the world famous Master Monk Guan!"Omi interrupted with his eyes shining in excitement.
Dojo came out from Raimundo's shirt and looked around.
"Where?"Dojo asked excitedly. "Where?"
"Nice for you to join us, Dojo."Raimundo said with a glare. "Now that the battle is over."
Omi rushed up to Master Monk Guan.
"Master Monk Guan!"Omi said happily. "I walk on the ground you worship! I mean- I worship the walk on the ground
Master Monk Guan patted Omi's head.
"It's alright."Master Monk Guan assured. "I know what you mean."
At the Xiaolin Temple...
Clay and Raimundo were training while kicking the balls and balancing them using their feet.
Master Monk Guan started kicking and balancing the balls himself as Omi watched in amazement with Raimundo, Kimiko, Alice and Clay right next to him.
"Master Monk Guan is the most accomplished Tai Chi Master."Omi remarked. "He has defeated the greatest warriors using only his famous Spear of Guan."
Master Monk Guan passed the balls to Omi.
"And I see much potential in you, Omi."Master Monk Guan stated.
"Oh yes, I know."Omi chuckled.
"I only wished I arrived sooner so I could've joined you."Master Monk Guan commented.
"You know I'm the one who flew them there."Dojo bragged.
"Yeah, we were lucky to get there at all."Raimundo said sarcastically.
Omi kicked the balls and they all landed on Dojo's head.
Raimundo, Omi, Kimiko covered their mouths from laughing while Clay chuckled and Alice simply frowned at the way her friends were treating Dojo.
"What a Dojo."Clay chuckled.
In the Kitchen...
Alice placed a variety of meals for her companions to eat, but Dojo immediately started to eat like a pig.
"Dojo, perhaps if you did not eat so much, you would fly swifter."Omi suggested.
"Are you saying that I'm fat?"Dojo questioned with a glare.
"No, no, nothing like that it's just that your...big-boned."Raimundo admitted.
"You know, I can still fit in the same swimming trunks I wore 1500 years ago."Dojo complemented.
Kimiko chuckled. "You mean your old toga?"
Both Dojo and Alice glared as they watched Kimiko, Raimundo, Omi and Clay come out of the kitchen while laughing.
"What a Dojo."Clay repeated.
"I do all the sensing of the Shen Gong Wu and all the flying, and do I ever get a pat on the back or a 'good job, Dojo?"Dojo asked in disappointment. "No. Never."
"Just ignore them, Dojo."Alice said as she picked up the dishes. "Your always going to be a cool dragon in my book."
"Thank you, Alice."Dojo answered. "You've been the only monk that has been nice to me."
Alice smiled at the green dragon before going to wash the dishes as Master Monk Guan arrived inside the room.
"I have traveled the world dozens of times, but I have never before seen a creature as fascinating as you."Master Monk Guan stated.
"You find me fascinating?"Dojo asked in curiosity. "How?"
"What other creatures out there can sense Shen Gong Wu?"Master Monk Guan replied.
"Yeah, your right."Dojo agreed. "I am fascinating."
"And you know there is someone you should meet that would really appreciate your talents."Master Monk Guan admitted and looked at Alice. "And your welcome to come, Alice."
"Umm...sure okay."Alice answered.
The Dragon of Ice wanted to say 'I have important things to do' but it wouldn't be a problem to visit the person whom Dojo should meet, right?
Dojo brought Master Monk Guan and Alice to a volcano with the sculpture of an evil creature face as the only entrance.
Alice bit her lip a little, feeling something off about this place.
This placed really seemed like a lair that belonged to someone evil.
The trio walked inside the cave as a wooden door opened up revealing the inside of the lair.
Unlike the outside, the inside resembled that of a palace filled with beauty and elegance.
The immediate inside was a large series of staircases, open rooms and pools of water.
The whole area glowed blue and was shining white and there seemed to be an endless amount of rooms and passageways.
A surprised expression appeared on Alice's face to see the sight of the place.
The pink haired girl was honestly expecting inside of the place to be dark and dangerous.
Guess some books can't be judged by their covers.
"Do you get the feeling that we're not alone?"Dojo asked.
A bunch of lions, panthers and tigers appeared above the staircases.
Alice notice how calm Master Monk Guan was and got the feeling she was being watched causing her to now have a uncomfortable feeling.
Something was up.
"You know, in all of the excitement, you never told us who your friend was."Dojo reminded.
"It is none other than the famous Chase Young."Master Monk Guan admitted.
This caused Dojo to laugh nervously while Alice's expression started to pale.
"That's funny!"Dojo laughed. "I thought you said that it was Chase Young!"
"He did."Alice whispered grimly.
Dojo stopped laughing and froze in shock.
"Chase Young?!"Dojo asked in fright. "As in the Master of Evil? The guy who makes lower-lip quiver, Chase Young?! Sorry! But we gotta go!"
Dojo and Alice started running towards the exit, only for the wooden door to get slammed down in front of them.
"Dang it!"Alice muttered.
"Where is the button on this thing?!"Dojo asked.
Alice gasped when she notice the jungle cats heading towards them causing her to stand in a fighting position.
Then a figure holding an item appeared in the staircase.
"You have done well, Master Monk Guan."the figure said smugly. "You've delivered the dragon and Lee."
Alice blinked in confusion as Dojo looked around.
"What dragon?"Dojo asked as he went on Alice's shoulder. "Oh me, well, yes I am."
"And as promised I returned to you the Spear of Guan."the figure stated.
The figure throws the Spear of Guan to Master Monk Guan.
"Now leave and never return."the figure ordered.
Master Monk Guan walked past a glaring Alice and a frightened Dojo as the wooden door closed when he left the lair.
"Come now, it's time for your dinner."the figure admitted.
The jungle cats growled and moved closer to Alice and Dojo.
"I sure hope your talking to me."Dojo said nervously.
Alice stared at the luxury bedroom she was brought in by the jungle cats.
The room she was in was filled with rich blue colour and a pretty chandelier with cyan blue crystals on them.
There was a fire in the fireplace, a silver veil over a beautiful bed with dark red sheets and purple pillows on it.
The colours of the window curtains were turquoise blue.
The pink haired girl walked up to the big silver closet and opened it revealing a variety of formal dresses and kimonos of all colours and styles.
"Kimiko would love this."Alice whispered in amazement.
The Dragon of Ice placed on a short-sleeved light blue and sea-blue dress featuring an outer skirt cut into patterned strips. It was held together at the chest by a patterned white band and a pale pink ribbon. The shoes she wore were a pair of light blue platform shoes. There were four light green flowers on her loose pink hair, two on each side of her head with small silver jewellery hanging from underneath.
Alice slowly walked up to a mirror, seeing how pretty she looked.
"I take it you look like your new room?"A familiar voice asked.
Alice shrieked in terror and quickly stood in a fighting position to face the person who came into the bedroom.
The person was a man with long greenish black hair and amber dragon-like eyes wearing greenish brown and gold armour.
"Who the heck are you!?"Alice demanded in shock.
This made the man chuckle and smirk.
"Since you asked so nicely..."the man started.
This caused Alice to blush, realising that she thought out loud.
"My name is Chase Young."the man replied as he walked forward. "I welcome you to my home, Lee. That dress suits you well."
Alice backed away a little as she slowly lowered her hands.
"Why are you calling me, Lee?"Alice questioned. "My name is Alice."
Chase grabbed Alice's chin, forcing her bluish violet eyes to meet his amber eyes.
"True. Your hair is different, but you have her eyes."Chase admitted with a smirk. "Your definitely her little offspring."
Alice felt her cheeks redden even more to have her face close to a evil yet handsome evil overlord.
"What are you going to do with Dojo?"Alice asked.
"Me and Dojo have duties to take care of."Chase answered and let go of Alice's chin. "You can make yourself at home in the meantime."
Chase walked out of the room as his smirk grew bigger while Alice watched him go in suspicion.
Dojo sat next to a dining table before he quickly started eating all the delicious foods in the table and belched when he ate a tower of croquembouche in one gulp.
Chase walked up the stairs as hid in the shadows while his eyes glowed red.
"I trust your meal is satisfactory."Chase commented.
"It's the best meal I had in 600 years."Dojo remarked.
"I'm pleased that your enjoying yourself."Chase stated with a smirk and snapped his fingers.
A few jungle cats took away the empty and Dojo screamed when a lion went next to him while placing a plate of desserts on the table.
"You taught them to do that?"Dojo asked.
"Among other duties."Chase answered while appearing next to Dojo.
Chase handed Dojo a cookie which the green dragon happily took.
"I hate to admit it, but for a evil villain you have been very hospitable."Dojo replied as he ate the cookie.
"Thank you."Chase said. "I have something very special in store for you, Dojo."
Dojo stopped munching and looked at Chase.
"You do?"Dojo chuckled nervously. "Well, I hate to eat and run."
Chase snapped his fingers causing three growling jungle cats to appear next to Dojo causing the green dragon to whimper.
"It will be up to you Dojo."Chase responded with a evil smile. "Your stay can be a pleasant or unpleasant experience."
Chase snapped his fingers again making the growling lion get closer to Dojo with it's teeth bared.
"I choose pleasant."Dojo answered quickly. "Pleasant would be nice."
"I thought you might."Chase answered evilly.
At the Xiaolin Temple...
Daniel have come to visit the monks to see how they were all doing.
However when there was no sign of Alice or Dojo, it caused everyone to look for the duo.
"So none of you have a clue where Alice and Dojo might've gone to?"Daniel questioned.
"No clue, partner."Clay responded.
"That's it we all looked high and low for Dojo and Allie."Raimundo said as he closed the cabinet.
"I have looked high."Omi stated while hanging upside on the roof. "No Dojo or Alice, I'm afraid."
Omi landed lightly down on Raimundo's head.
"I just hope they are okay."Kimiko commented worriedly.
"It will be difficult for Dojo to resist showing up for the next a time a Shen Gong Wu reveals itself."Master Fung explained.
"How will we even know when a Shen Gong Wu is revealed?"Raimundo asked.
"I have an idea."Kimiko stated as she held a GPS receiver.
The monks go over to Jack's house, where he was fixing a dune buggy and Wuya senses that the Monsoon Sandals have been revealed.
"It's coming to me!"Wuya stated. "The Monsoon Sandals just revealed themselves!"
"The Monsoon, what?"Jack questioned.
"The Monsoon Sandals."Wuya repeated. "Whoever posses them will have legs that can stretch for miles."
"I always wanted that."Jack admitted.
Kimiko throws a GPS receiver onto the back of the car and it started tracking Jack.
Then Jack took off in his car.
"Perfect."Kimiko stated while holding her PDA. "All we need to do now is to follow Jack with the GPS receiver."
Clay took out the Silver Manta Ray.
"Silver Manta Ray!"Clay, Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo and Daniel chanted.
The monks used the Silver Manta Ray to follow Jack to a beach where the Monsoon Sandals were located.
Jack removed his shoes to place on the Monsoon Sandals.
"Hold it right there!"Omi ordered. "We will take the Shen Gong Wu, if you please."
The five heroes stood together in a rock while the ocean waves rose behind them.
"Go ahead and try."Jack challenged and placed on the Monsoon Sandals. "Monsoon Sandals!"
Jack's legs started to grow longer causing Daniel, Raimundo, Kimiko, Omi and Clay to all jump down from the rock to avoid getting smacked by his feet.
"Time out!"Jack shouted and covered his nose. "Nose bleed!"
Jack fell back towards the sand, only to get caught by Chase.
"Chase Young, pleased to meet you."Chase said.
"Chase Young?"Jack repeated and became excited. "As in Chase Young, the greatest most evil genius of all time, Chase Young?"
"I do have a certain reputation."Chase replied with a smile.
"Here."Jack insisted as he stretched his feet forward to show the Monsoon Sandals. "I want you to have my Wu."
Chase dropped Jack causing the boy to hit the sand while Dojo stood next to the heylin overlord.
"You fool!"Wuya growled.
"Chase Young is my all time hero."Jack admitted. "His an evil doer's evil doer."
"Dojo!"Omi called out.
Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo and Clay rushed forward with Daniel following them from behind.
"Where have you been?"Omi demanded.
"We could've missed out on a bunch of Shen Gong Wu with you gone."Kimiko said.
"Are you sure my big bones and all wouldn't have slowed you down?"Dojo questioned with a glare.
"Oh, is that why you left?"Clay asked. "We were only messing with you partner, we didn't mean to hurt your feelings."
"Well, you did."Dojo responded with his eyes closed.
"We need you, Dojo."Kimiko admitted.
"You are a most valuable dragon."Omi remarked.
"And most of all you're one of us, dude."Raimundo stated with a smile.
"Really?"Dojo asked in joy.
Dojo grew big and hugged the five kids tightly.
"I missed you guys too!"Dojo sobbed.
"So you and Alice will return to the temple?"Omi asked.
Dojo became small causing Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo, Clay and Daniel to drop on the sand.
Dojo went up to Clay and sneezed on his scarf.
"We like to but we can't."Dojo answered and started to cry. "We've been traded! Like a pack of baseball cards!"
"What no good emery would do that?"Clay questioned.
"Master Monk Guan."Dojo replied.
"What?"Daniel said in disbelief.
"This cannot be."Omi commented. "Master Monk Guan is far too honourable to engage in such behaviour."
"That's where you are wrong, my naive young xiaolin admirer."Chase stated as he placed a can of green liquid into his bowl. "Dojo and Alice belong to me now."
"If you don't surrender Dojo, Alice and the Shen Gong Wu at once, you will suffer a humiliating defeat!"Omi warned with his arms folded.
"What are we going to do?"Raimundo asked with a frown. "Fight or sit around and sip tea?"
"It's my special Lao Mang Long Soup."Chase replied before taking a sip of his soup and smirking. "I always have a cup before victory."
Omi became angry as his lower lip quivered a little before attacking Chase, who easily blocked his attacks with his free hand.
"You fight well for a little one."Chase commented.
"The fact that my centre is low to the ground only makes me more difficult to defeat in battle."Omi admitted.
Omi tried to attack Chase, but failed and ends up getting tired.
Chase dropped his empty bowl on Omi's head making the Dragon of Water hit the floor.
"You fight well, too."Omi responded. "I mean as evil genius goal."
"I've been itching to scrap all day."Clay remarked as he cracked his knuckles.
Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo and Clay charged towards Chase from any different directions, but he jumped out of the way, making the monks hit each other.
"Ouch."Daniel mumbled.
Jack went up to Chase and placed a Monsoon Sandal in his hand.
"What do you say we work together?"Jack asked. "Split the Wu down the middle?"
"I have little interest in Shen Gong Wu."Chase stated as he dropped the sandal. "I only came to observe the young monks I have heard so much about. True strength comes from within."
"Whoa that's deep."Jack said as he picked up the sandal.
Daniel angrily went in front of Chase.
"Daniel, is been a long time my old apprentice."Chase admitted smugly.
"Drop it, Chase!"Daniel snapped with a glare. "I'm no longer in your leash! Where is Alice?! If you do anything to her, so help me-"
"Please, I'm not that kind of person and besides you haven't change one bit."Chase replied. "That's why I picked you to train to every bone in your body endure. I am surprised this small young monk is also intriguing too"
"Leave Omi out of this!"Daniel scowled.
"If you want Alice back along dojo, then you'll have to come to my place and fight me."Chase suggested with a smirk. "If you ever unleashed your inner half side, I gave you long ago."
"I don't need it to defeat you."Daniel retorted.
"The Heylin Side is in your blood."Chase said simply as he walked past Daniel. "Maybe different but I guess your afraid to unleash it in front of Alice and your friends. You may not be evil like me, but someday you will be."
Daniel growled in anger as his eyes flashed yellow a little bit.
Afterwards...
Omi, Raimundo, Kimiko, Clay and Daniel used the Silver Manta Ray to arrive where Master Monk Guan was walking by.
"There he is!"Omi said. "It's time we get the top of this!"
"The bottom of this."Raimundo corrected.
"That too!"Omi agreed.
Raimundo landed the Silver Manta Ray and the five went to talk to Master Monk Guan of his action.
"But how is it possible that you would do such a thing?"Omi asked sadly. "You are a great warrior!"
"I am afraid, I am no longer the great warrior I once was."Master Monk Guan stated. "Years ago, I fought Chase Young. The battle went on for days, severely testing our wills to win. I made the first error and lost my Spear of Guan. Without it, I was nothing. Then Chase Young offered me a chance to get it back."
"If you gave him Dojo and Alice."Kimiko finished bitterly.
"Master Fung says 'What makes a warrior strong is not the weapon but the warrior holding the weapon.'"Omi admitted wisely.
"I am sorry."Master Monk Guan apologised as he opened a red book. "I will show you wear to find his palace, but I'm afraid that's all I can do."
Daniel glanced at Guan for a moment before Raimundo spoke up.
"What does he want with Dojo?"Raimundo asked.
"Chase Young was once on the side of good, however he traded his soul for a potion that keeps him forever young."Master Monk Guan said.
"And Alice?"Raimundo added.
"Your friend Alice is the descendant of Li-Ming Hazuki, the original female Xiaolin warrior of Ice."Master Monk Guan explained. "That was a close friend to me and Chase Young. Chase began admiring Lee for her strong and courageous personality. However when Lee preferred their relationship to be in a professional level, Chase didn't take the respond well which lured him to follow the path of evil."
Omi, Raimundo, Daniel and Clay had shocked expressions of this revelation as Kimiko began to read the ingredients of the Lao Mang Long Soup.
"One cup of wheat grass, one table spoon of salt a pinch of dried frog."Kimiko read. "And one whole...dragon?!"
Alice slowly drank her sip of her raspberry tea in the dinning room.
The Dragon of Ice wore a blue kimono top with a design in the middle of the chest and shoulder, along with a blue border colouring. The skirt was a deep blue colour with a yellow ribbon tied beneath the chest. There was pale yellow translucent fabric wrapped around the shoulders.
The pink haired girl just finished practising a bit of her martial art skills in the training room, but deep down she was getting worried if her friends might've forgotten about her and Dojo.
No.
She and Dojo were their friends, they would never forget about them.
Alice continued drinking her tea until a yummy smell caught her attention.
"Something smells delicious."Alice said as she licked her lips.
Just as Alice stood up for seat and took a few inches forward, she felt a hand on her shoulder.
Chase was breaking down her neck, far too close.
"Feeling comfortable here, Lee?"
"A little."Alice said simply.
"I was wondering if you would like join me for dinner this evening?"Chase insisted with a smile.
"Well, I am a little hungry."Alice responded shyly. "What's for lunch?"
"Have you heard of something called the Lao Mang Long Soup?"Chase asked.
Alice shook her head.
"No, why?"Alice asked with a hint of curiosity.
Chase let out a chuckle as he wrapped his hands around Alice's waist to press her against him.
"You should try it."Chase insisted with a smirk. "You'll love it."
Alice shivered a little at feeling Chase's hands venture round her body just before their lips suddenly met.
"Chase!"Jack's voice rang out. "I'm here!"
Chase scowled in annoyance as he released Alice from his grasp.
Alice blushed furiously as she moved her hands through her hair, trying to pull herself together.
"Go to your room."Chase ordered quietly. "I fully intend to finish this conversation."
A few jungle cats moved their heads, gesturing Alice to follow her as Chase went to meet up with Jack.
The monks and Daniel arrived at Chase Young's citadel, seeing that he left the door open.
"We are in luck."Omi remarked. "Chase Young must've forgotten to close the door behind him."
"It's more like a trap than luck, Omi."Daniel complemented.
"Same difference!"Omi snapped. "We shall use our superior fighting skills to protect us!"
Suddenly the entrance closed behind the group causing it to get dark for a second.
Then torches lit the hallways as Omi, Raimundo, Daniel, Kimiko and Clay began rushing deeper into the lair.
The five kids running even more quicker just before the wooden door would close and they all stopped to catch their breaths.
"You okay, Dan?"Raimundo asked.
"Yeah."Daniel replied as he breathed heavily. "I just don't like running that much."
"Guys!"Kimiko said. "Over here!"
Omi, Raimundo, Daniel, Kimiko and Clay rushed up to a cauldron of soup where Dojo was in and had an apple on his mouth.
"Dojo!"Omi responded. "Are you alright?"
Omi removed the apple that was in Dojo's mouth.
"I'm sitting in a pot of soup!"Dojo shouted angrily. "What do you think?!"
The group became alarmed as another door was being shut behind them.
Chase stood in front on them while Jack chuckled evilly as he pressed a button to block their escape.
Omi, Raimundo, Daniel, Kimiko and Clay stood in their fighting positions, ready to battle the Heylin overlord.
However when Chase opened his eyes he turns into a roaring huge reptilian creature.
The monks gasped in shock while Daniel glared at the monstrous beast.
"Wow!"Jack said in amazement. "Your even more hideous than Wuya! I love it!"
"You see before you my true form without the benefit of my potion."Chase stated.
"I can see why you're so faithful to it."Dojo complemented nervously.
"Star Hanabi, FIRE!"Kimiko chanted.
The Star Hanabi unleashed a fire ball towards Chase, only for the lizard to send it back with his tail and Kimiko ends up hitting the wall.
"Ruby of Rameses!"Raimundo chanted.
Chase got out of the way before the red rings shot out of the ruby and hit Jack lifting him into the air.
"Hey!"Jack shouted. "Put me down!"
Chase came to Raimundo's side and hit the Dragon of Wind, getting him to crash into the wall along with Jack beside Kimiko.
"Lasso Boa Boa!"Clay chanted.
"Thorn of Thunderbolt!"Omi chanted.
Chase leapt through the ring of lightning before grabbing the Lasso Boa Boa and swung it causing both Clay and Omi to fly and crash into the wall with the others.
"Thorn Whip!"Daniel chanted.
Daniel takes out a black whip with thorny spikes that lied on his belt towards Chase.
However the lizard snapped the whip in half with his sharp teeth.
Daniel got thrown against the wall hard which was witnessed by Alice, who watched from one of the above windows.
Alice gasped at the sight in horror.
Daniel, Kimiko, Raimundo, Omi and Clay froze in fear as Chase walked up to them.
"Perhaps you will join me in a bowl of Dojo."Chase suggested darkly.
"I wouldn't celebrate your victory just yet."
The Xiaolin warriors and Dojo smiled in relief seeing Master Monk Guan.
"Master Monk Guan!"Omi said happily. "I knew you would come!"
"How could I resist joining you in fighting the dark forces of evil?"Master Monk Guan questioned and looked at his former friend. "Chase Young, I challenge you to a Showdown!"
"The plain old regular showdown?"Dojo asked. "We haven't had one of those in a long time."
Chase gives Dojo a glare causing the green dragon to place the apple back in his mouth.
"No Shen Gong Wu."Chase said. "We only use our martial art skills."
"The wager will be the freedom of Dojo and the monks including Alice."Master Monk Guan stated.
Master Monk Guan landed on the floor while Chase held out his own spear.
"And should I prevail, you will forever pledge your loyalty to me and join the other fallen warriors who are enslaved in the beasts that serve me."Chase stated.
Alice glanced at the jungle cats with a startled expression as she backed away to look for something in the room to help her escape.
"You'll turn him into a big cat?"Jack asked in excitement. "Oh you are so cutting edge!"
Chase extended his spear causing Jack to take the apple from Dojo's mouth and placed it in his.
"Gong Yi Tanpai!"Chase and Master Monk Guan shouted in unison.
The two began sparring with equal strength.
Chase eventually gets a hit and sends Master Monk Guan flying.
Chase activates a lever and a ring of lava surrounds the competitors.
The lizard pins Master Monk Guan down to push him into the lava.
"Loser Guan!"Jack shouted. "Loser Guan! Loser Guan!"
Master Monk Guan uses the sharp edge of his spear to hit Chase and escape.
"You can not defeat me."Chase taunted. "Even the Spear of Guan won't save you."
"What makes a warrior strong is not the weapon."Master Monk Guan replied and did a big leap to pass Chase and land at the other side. "But the warrior holding the weapon."
Omi laughed in delight and gives his friends thumbs up.
Chase growled as Master Monk Guan placed his spear down.
"Your theatrics are quite amusing as are your skills in combat."Chase admitted.
Both fighters drop their spears and leapt into the air.
Chase and Master Monk Guan began to fight in hand to hand combat.
Chase hits Guan again, sending the t'ai chi master to slam against the wall and fall towards the lava which shocked the monks.
Master Monk Guan quickly rebounds with several attacks at Chase, sending him to the edge of the arena.
Chase activates another lever and several mirrors arise, creating confusion.
Guan jumps on top, but Chase activates another lever to turn the mirrors and send him falling.
Chase began sneaking up on Guan as the t'ai chi master focuses his energy.
"I see you now of what you are and not what you pretend to be...Repel the Beast!"Master Monk Guan shouted.
Master Monk Guan unleashed the energy at Chase to send him flying toward the center of the arena and knocking him out.
Guan has won the showdown!
Alice used the tied up curtains to head down and share a big hug with her friends, feeling happy that she was reunited with them.
Then Daniel, Alice, Kimiko, Raimundo, Omi and Clay rushed up to Master Monk Guan.
Chase was back in his normal form and Jack went up to him.
Suddenly the jungle cats started growling and come towards them.
"Yes!"Jack remarked. "We can still stop them!"
The group stood in fighting positions as the jungle cats were coming closer to them.
"No!"Chase replied and lifted up his hand. "I accepted their challenge and lost. They're free to go."
The jungle cats backed away from the Xiaolin Warriors, Daniel and Master Monk Guan.
"I'm certain that our paths will cross again."Chase retorted and bowed.
"As I, too, am certain."Omi answered.
"Take care, Alice."Chase stated with a smirk. "I look forward the next time we meet."
Alice became angry and simply huffed as she walked away with her companions.
Chase glanced at Dojo, who still stood in the cauldron.
"Just leaving!"Dojo assured quickly. "I'm with them!"
Dojo went on Alice's shoulder as they walked away and the wooden door closed behind them.
The monks and Daniel thanked Master Monk Guan for saving them.
"Got to admit, partner."Clay chuckled. "You came through us when the chips were down."
"Yeah, you really saved our butts, dude."Raimundo agreed.
"Even though you got mine cooked in the first place."Dojo added and hugged Guan. "Thanks for save me and Alice!"
"And hopefully you now know that trading people is really wrong."Alice commented.
"I've learned my lesson."Master Monk Guan assured and smiled at Omi. "And thank you, Omi. For restoring the courage I lost."
"It was never really lost."Omi admitted. "Just misplaced."
Master Monk Guan handed Omi his spear.
"I want you to have this, Omi."Master Monk Guan stated. "I have a feeling I wouldn't need it anymore."
"The Spear of Guan!"Omi remarked. "I can't accept something so valuable."
Omi, Clay, Kimiko, Raimundo, Alice and Daniel became surprised when they notice Guan was gone.
"I'm going to accept this once."Omi said happily and hugged the Spear of Guan.
Daniel notice how pretty Alice looked in the clothing she was wearing.
"Umm, Alice that dress..."Daniel started.
"What of it?"Alice questioned while raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing!"Daniel assured quickly while blushing and rubbed the back of his neck. "You just look nice in it."
"Whatever."Alice muttered.
Omi, Raimundo, Kimiko, Dojo and Clay laughed at Daniel's awkward moment.
Then the monks and Daniel took off in the Silver Manta Ray while Master Monk Guan continued his travels around the world.
