Summary: The Lotus Ninjas try to recover the Akuma Rings from Lila Craven's mansion.
Donna, Ellie, Lee, and Ella walked through the wall into the mutant pizza restaurant in their cute schoolgirl attire. Ella wore a long-sleeved black button-up shirt, a red plaid skirt, and black flats. Lee wore a white collared blouse, a blue plaid skirt, and black flats. Ellie wore a white collared blouse, an orange plaid skirt, and black flats. And Donna wore a long-sleeved black button-up shirt, a purple plaid skirt, and black flats. They started to walk down their usual seats while few mutants were capturing pictures of them as some of the male mutants were letting wolf whistles.
"I don't know about this plan." Ella said skeptically. "I still failed to see how this place is gonna help us find the last Akuma Rings."
"And besides, who would've thought the mutants would be just as knowledgeable on mystical artifacts as the mystics in this city?" Lee said.
"That's convincing. For a minute there, I thought you might actually have an idea of what mutants might be capable in this town." Donna said.
"I specifically said the knowledgeable mutants. I wouldn't have any idea how capable mutants are if I actually observe, would I?" Lee countered.
"True story." Donna remarked. She turned to Ella. "And that's why Ellie and I are going for Operation: Crowdsourcing."
"It's foolproof. There are literally thousand yokais and mystics in the city who can search the rings for us." Ellie explained. "And once they arrive here, we just sit here and see if they have collected the Akuma Rings."
Then, the Lotus Ninjas saw a short male bat mutant flying towards their direction.
"Oh, here come our seller now!" Ellie exclaimed eagerly. "Yoo-hoo! Over here!"
The bat mutant managed to bring himself over the Lotus Ninjas' table while holding a shiny glowing box in his hands.
"That glow is off the charts!" Donna grinned as she scanned the box with her sunglasses.
"See, Ella, we told you to trust our plans." Ellie smiled. "Akuma Ring is good as ours!"
Suddenly, the bat mutant was engulfed in pinkish-white magical energy and he was turned around to find himself face to face with a teenage mystic girl. She has a slim figure, ivory skin, long magenta waist-length hair tied up in a large drill-like ponytail with black streaks, and striking purple eyes. She wore a black chain mail shirt, a plain white layered skirt with black cracked mirror patterns, and black high-heeled boots.
"Hey, you! You promise me a birthday gift yesterday!" A teen mystic declared. She then snatched the box and tossed the bat mutant away. "But I'll take this as my gift instead!"
The teen mystic then ran off through the portal with a cruel smile.
"Was that really necessary?!" Donna cried with an annoy look on her face. "Who was that stuck-up?"
"Lila Craven!" Lee replied with a growl.
"I can take it that you know her somehow." Ellie said.
"Lila Craven is part of the Craven royal family, who are known for seasoned warriors even though they are not as powerful as the Dragonessess." Lee explained. "Lila and I were once playmates when we were kids, but she's the absolute worst. She's a bully to almost everyone who isn't the same class as her. She'll even used her wealth and position to humiliate, threaten or intimidate everyone too."
"So, in other words, she's an extreme mean version of you." Donna said with a smirk.
"Shut up, Donna." Lee hissed.
"How much you two wanna bet that I saw this one coming?" Ella said to Donna and Ellie.
"Chill, Ella. Lee know where she lives." Ellie said as she wrapped her arm around Donna. "So, let's go get that ring back!"
The Sonicruiser arrived outside at the Craven Mansion.
"Alright, here's the thing. Since I'm the only one who dealt with Lila before, we have to go in there with sophisticated style." Lee said. "And luckily for you, I have extensive knowledge in that category."
Lee waved her hand back and brought her magic forward to swirl around herself and her sisters from top to bottom, melting their schoolgirl attire into wealthy mini dresses. Lee wore a single shoulder blue mini dress with a diamond brooch on the right strap and matching blue heels. Ellie wore a single shoulder orange mini dress with a diamond brooch on the left strap and matching orange heels. Ella wore a single shoulder red mini dress with a diamond brooch on the left strap and matching red heels. And Donna wore a single shoulder purple mini dress with a diamond brooch on the right strap and matching purple heels.
"One thing I know about Lila is that she's cultivated by money and expensive jewelry." Lee added. "While Ella and I scout around the mansion for any important intel, Donna and Ellie will smooth talk Lila into giving up that Akuma Ring as wealthy socialites."
"Roger that." Ellie smiled.
"You got it." Ella grinned with a nod.
"Piece of cake." Donna said with a thumb-up.
Donna and Ellie tiptoed in front of the mansion doors. As Ellie pressed the door bell, the door opened up to reveal a snow leopard mutant wearing a classic black butler outfit.
"Greetings, ladies." The mutant butler spoke in a British accent. "Madam Lila, you have visitors."
The mutant butler gestured his arm out as Lila walked next to him with her gloss black phone in her hand.
"Uh, who might you be?" Lila asked.
"Greetings, Ms. Craven. My sister Michelle and I are wealthy socialites from the royal Dragoness family." Donna spoke in a British accent.
"Dear me, Donatella. Don't you think we should let Lila examine our luxurious valuables once we explore the lovely mansion?" Ellie asked as she held up a silver-grey briefcase in her hand.
Lila's eyes turned into heart-shaped diamonds once she stared at the briefcase.
"Oh, fancy socialites are always welcome to my wealthy mansion." Lila smiled as she placed her arms around Ellie and Donna. "Allow me to show you two around."
Donna sneakily scanned every expensive valuables to pick up any signature of the Akuma Ring at every sight through her high-tech sunglasses.
Ella was playing an app games on her phone while Lee was reading her fashion magazine. But they immediately dropped what they were doing just as the image of Lila's hallway appeared on the screen.
"Everything in my mansion is expensive and exclusive." Lila said. She pointed her finger to a massive steel vault door. "Except for that vault. No matter how curious you are, don't go in there. Understand?"
"Understood, Ms. Craven. Perhaps you could bring us a nice refreshment?" Ellie asked.
"Oh, my pleasure." Lila said. "My butler will make some for you. In the meantime, I'll go get some of my valuables."
"Right away, madam." The mutant butler said with a bow.
As Lila ran upstairs and her mutant butler went into the kitchen, Donna's sunglasses began scanning through the steel vault door.
"Anything, Donna?" Ella asked through Donna's sunglasses.
"I don't know." Donna replied as she isn't picking up any signature of the Akuma Ring. "I'm not getting everything through this vault."
"And I assume we be snooping?" Ella asked Lee with a smile.
"Oh yeah." Lee smiled back.
Donna kept scanning every expensive valuable for the Akuma Rings.
"I don't see the Akuma Ring in any of this stuff." Donna said.
"We're gonna be here all day." Ellie said with a heavy sigh.
"Ladies!"
Ellie recoiled back behind the startling Donna in fear. They saw the mutant butler holding a plate of two pink lemonade glasses in his hands.
"Pink lemonade." The mutant butler said.
Ella and Lee teleported in front of the steel vault door. Ella twisted her hand into a fist and opened it in the air to produce a mass of the reddish-black fog for transport portal. They walked through the portal and into the room that displayed a wealth of mystical masks and artifacts all around the walls in glass cases.
"O. M. G!" Ella exclaimed with wide eyes.
"I wonder Donna couldn't sense anything here." Lee gasped. "Lila got more mystical treasures than Azalea! This place is a mystic gold mine!"
"I say we stash the good ones while we still can." Ella said with a smile.
"You don't have to tell me twice." Lee grinned.
Lee waved her hand back and brought it forward to produce a bluish-white portal that leads to her bedroom. She and Ella scattered around the room as they snatched every mystical artifact and tossed them through the portal in a crazed manner.
After Ella and Lee finished stashing, they exited through the transport portal. Ella snapped her fingers and the portal vanished out of sight.
Then suddenly, Ella and Lee heard a sinister hiss. They exchanged worried looks and turned around to find themselves confronted by a large black jellyfish-like creature floating in front of them. It has red eyes with blue sclerae and a white mustache-like collar. It also has long five thin tentacles that has white frills on its wrists and teardrop-shaped ends.
"Should we run for our lives?" Ella asked Lee.
"Oh, yes, definitely." Lee replied.
Meanwhile, Lila was levitating her treasure chest and placed it on the dining table. She opened up the chest that revealed several expensive jewelries, making Donna and Ellie's eyes widen with dropping jaws.
"I like to make an exchange. My jewelry treasure for your exclusive briefcase." Lila said.
"It's a deal, Ms. Craven." Donna grinned.
Lila smiled in delight as she took the briefcase without hesitation.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Lila said.
"Gangway!"
Ellie, Donna, and Lila turned their heads to the source of that scream as they saw Ella and Lee being chased by the jellyfish-like creature.
"What the heck?!" Donna yelled in shock.
"It's so cute!" Ellie hollered with heart-shaped eyes.
"Leona? Is that you? Do you sent these two to scam me?!" Lila exclaimed.
The jellyfish-like creature began lashing its tentacles to hit Lee and Ella, who dodged them with swift reflexes.
"And I see you met my Jellyfost pet! Get them, Buru!" Lila shouted with a cruel smile.
"This yokai is your pet?!" Lee exclaimed.
"Fun fact: Jellyfost are known for gathering for their prey during a full moon." Ella clarified. "But in this rate, they are highly feared by many mystic and mutant fishers!"
Lila snapped her fingers and summoned a platinum throne chair. She sat on the throne chair and conjured a big bowl of popcorn to enjoy the chase.
Donna and Ellie sprang high in the air. Ellie waved her hand back and forth with a grabbing shape and Donna moved her index finger in a circle as they pointed their magic to restrain Buru with glowing orange and purple chains. Donna and Ellie then gathered together with Ella and Lee as they watched Buru trying to break free out of the tight chains.
"Not fair!" Lila whined. She levitated herself in the air with blazing eyes. "Looks like I've gotta take care of you girls myself!"
Lila swung her arms forward and shot two pinkish-white energy combat like whips from the palm of her hands before sending her weapons racing towards the Lotus Ninjas. Lee, Ella, Donna, and Ellie quickly scattered away from the lashing whips in a nick of time. Lila kept giggling as she continued lashing her whips to strike the Lotus Ninjas in rapid speed. She then combined her whips into a giant pinkish-white energized mace.
"Try this one for size!" Lila giggled.
Lila swung the mace towards the Lotus Ninjas as she attempted to smash them at astonishing speed. Only Ella, Donna, and Ellie quickly scattered around as the mace came after them. But Lee sprang high above in the air and fired out a powerful blue magical energy blasts that broke the mace into nothingness and stumbled Lila backward to her throne chair.
Unexpectedly, Buru broke free from the magic chains and came charging towards the Lotus Ninjas. Ella, Ellie, Lee, and Donna noticed the creature coming in their direction as they dropped on the floor in a full split that led Buru wrapping its tentacles around Lila's body.
"Buru! Let me go!" Lila shouted.
"Shall we, girls?" Ella asked her sisters with a smile.
"Oh yeah!" Ellie, Lee, and Donna nodded.
Lee lifted her arms above her head to form a large blue ball of magical energy and sent it crashing forward. Ellie sped herself forward in supersonic speed and created a glowing orange ball of magical energy as she spun around once and fired it straight ahead. Ella jumped up into the air to form a red disc of magical energy in her hand and threw it forward. And Donna unleashed a storm of purple magical energy bolts forward in full speed. Lila and Buru didn't have a chance to block as all of the attacks came crashing down all around them in an explosion.
"Nice work, ladies." Ella said. "Now, let's hook ourselves with that treasure chest. It better has that Akuma Ring Lila snagged earlier."
Donna's sunglasses began scanning through the treasure chest, but she didn't find the Akuma Ring inside.
"What the?! The Akuma Ring is not in here!" Donna gasped in shock.
"That's because it was special order from two ladies with mystical tessen." Lila explained as she tried to free herself from Buru's tangling tentacles. "They came here to pick it up just before you girls got here."
"Oh, great. Now, those Shadow creeps have it. Let's skedaddle!" Lee said.
"But we're keeping the chest." Donna grinned as she and Ellie took the handle on either side of the treasure chest. "And as for the briefcase..."
Donna snapped her fingers and Lila looked to find the briefcase shaking violently. Lila screamed in realization as the briefcase exploded itself open and covered her and Buru in large mass of blue-green foam.
The Lotus Ninjas laughed out and took their leave through the door.
"You girls are gonna pay for this!" Lila shouted as she watched the Lotus Ninjas exiting her mansion. "You hear me?! You're going to pay!"
