Chapter 13-2: Beyond the Mysterious Beyond

It was the next night after Light came back to the Great Valley with new information in hand, Chrono & Stella also tell them all new information as well, despite the couple of hours worth of sleep they got all of them were ready to make their way toward the next destination: The Night Circle, all of them decide to meet up at the group of seven usual spot so when everyone was here they made toward the biggest forest in the valley.

Mr Threehorn: "How we are going to get on the Night Circle? It's not night time so it's not in the shy!"

Stella: "Actually the Night Circle is inside the Beyond the Mysterious Beyond like the Bright Circle"

Pterano: "Really?"

Chrono: "To make it simple for all of you your world turn around the Bright Circle and the Night Circle turned around your world and when it's night you see it instead, but on certain occasion they meet for a couple of seconds before separating themselves again"

Bron: "You mean that the sleep story that all the Longneck saw didn't actually save our world when it have happened"

Stella: "No one has control over it, it's just a natural event"

Doc: "Such a shame, well it's too late now anyway"

The way inside the forest was a little difficult but they manage to pass without much trouble, in the center of the forest was the biggest clearing they have ever seen inside a forest before, it was the same size were they adults have their meeting, Chrono returns and said to them.

Chrono: "Here we are!"

Grandpa Longneck: "So your way of travel is in the middle of this clearing?"

Stella: "Affirmative"

Littlefoot: "You're sure it's here?"

Chrono: "Well you can touch it if you want"

Littlefoot walks toward the clearing with his right front paw raised, after walking two steps he feels something and said.

Littlefoot: "It's cold"

Stella: "Yes now all of you behold! The sight because you are about to see it fully"

Stella deactivate the cloaking device, all of the other gasps when they see their way of travel, it was bigger than a mountain (the spaceship look exactly like the one in WALL-E) a door then opens in front of them.

Mr Threehorn: "Does this have a name?"

Chrono: "Every way of travel have a name, this one is named Epoch (Chrono Trigger reference)

Grandpa Longneck: "It's bigger than me!"

Stella: "A shame that only the two of us use it sometime we wish to have company but oh well"

Cera: "You have this thing only for you? Impressive!"

Chrono: "Well come on in!"

All of them climb up inside the way of travel Chrono & Stella led them to the cockpit, when all of them are inside Stella said to them.

Stella: "Alright you don't touch anything here understand? You don't know what does what so just lean on the floor ok?"

All the other dinosaurs nod to show that they understand.

Ali's mother "Aren't we going to scare the others when they see this in the sky or fright them by the sound?"

Chrono: "Don't worry I will make it invisible again and our way of travel doesn't make any sound because otherwise you will have heard it when we land inside the valley"

Mr Thicknose: "This way of travel is impressive!"

Stella: "We are going to lift off the ground, we are going to close the sight and it's going to feel like an earthshake before we arrive in Beyond the Mysterious Beyond so don't stress out ok?"

The other dinosaurs: "We will try"

Chrono: "Prepare to lift off in 5… 4… 3…2…1…go!"

Stella was right about this feeling like an earthshake, all of them feel their organs in their bodies move because of the force of the thruster, for them it was as if it will never stop but eventually it did Stella look back and said.

Stella: "How was it?"

The other dinosaurs: "It was awful!"

Stella: "Well are you ready?"

The other dinosaurs: "Ready to see what?"

Chrono: "Only the most beautiful sight you will ever saw in you entire life, it's even more beautiful that the Great Valley itself!"

Chrono opens the window of their way of travel, the other dinosaurs couldn't believe what they saw because all around them were the stars they see each night.

Tria: "It's… there is no word for such a thing!"

Stella: "Now see if we turn slightly you will see the Bright Circle"

Stella turned the way of travel slightly, in front of them was the Bright Circle in all of his glory.

Mama Flyer: "Strange… normally our eyes would hurt by now to see this but it doesn't"

Chrono: "Our way of travel is well built so there is no worry on that part"

Stella: "And if we turned slightly again you will see your world"

Stella turned the way of travel slightly, the other dinosaurs gasps with what they see, in front of them a huge round object floating with water and continents all other it (basically a version of Earth now because remember they all are technically in our time period since the flying rock didn't kill them)

Littlefoot: "So this is our world? It's beautiful!"

Chrono: "The Rainbow Faces called it Terra"

Strike: "I like it"

Stella: "As you can see one half is in the day time and the other half is in the night time"

Light: "Truly spectacular indeed!"

Chrono: "You see the white object near it? That is the Night Circle!"

Tippy: "Yes it's much bigger here than in the sky when we look up to see him"

Stella: "Alright now that you see all of this we will make our way toward it!"

It only takes two minutes to be in front of the Night Circle then Chrono said.

Chrono: "Beginning descent! We will land in 10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…0! We have safely landed on the Night Circle, come on everyone follow us!"

All of them walk back to the entrance of the way of travel, however the door is still closed in front of us suddenly Stella walk in front with several weird things in her hands and said to them.

Stella: "Here put this round object on your body and touch the button, this will protect you from outside!"

Sky: "Protect us from what?"

Chrono: "The Night Circle is way colder than freezing water, if you go out like that you will die in seconds, also you need to wear this on your head because the Night Circle doesn't have any air to breathe so you suffocate in two minutes"

All the others dinosaurs do as they are told and when they touch the button a sort of thing wraps their bodies to keep them warm, when he sees that Spike said to Light and his friends.

Spike: "It looks like the sort of thing that you humans wear in the visions we saw"

Saphir: "We have nothing like this in our world"

All of them wear their helmets, when they all does the door opens to them, they see the sight of the Night Circle for the first time, all they can see is white land with multiple craters with the stars in the sky, when all of them are on the ground Stella said to them.

Stella: "Congratulations! You are the first dinosaurs of Terra to walk on the Night Circle!"

Aqua: "It's feels like were in a dream!"

Chrono: "There is something fascinating about the Night Circle, do you want to know?"

All of them nod to show their interest toward what Chrono said.

Chrono: "Well on Terra when you jump you quickly return to the ground, but if you jump here you will jump higher and will take more time to return to the ground so who want to do it?"

Hyp: "I will go first!"

Hyp jumps off the ground, all the others see him reach a height that is kind was never know for, then like Stella said they watch Hyp slowly return to the ground, when he land he said to them.

Hyp: "Wow! Ok I'll admit it! It was pretty fun to do it!"

Then all the other even the adults and the old adults did it, after all this opportunity will never come back so it would be a shame to not do it.

Mr Thicknose, Doc, Grandpa Longneck and Grandma Longneck: "I didn't feel in decades, it's like being kids again!"

The teens and young adults minus Hyp: "It's awesome!" (The young adults were Hyp, Nod and Mutt since they were seventeen Cold Times)

Tricia: "It's like gliding!"

Stella: "Glad you appreciated but we have a mission in our hand, we landed near the orb which should be inside the crash site in the middle of what we can see with our eyes"

All of them then follow Stella and Chrono, they slowly slide down to reach the center of the crash site, all of them then begin to search the area, this search takes several minutes until someone found something shining buried into the ground and this person was none other than Light.

Light: "Guys! I think I found it!"

All the others come to see if what Light found was the Silver Orb, by the time they arrived Light manage to dig it up and sure enough this was the Silver Orb.

Chrono: "Well that was easy, now that we have it we should return to Terra, come on you lot it's time to go back!"

All of them climbs up the crash site and returns inside the way of travel, when the door closed they see Chrono & Stella get rid of their suit and helmet which they do the same and they follow them back to the cockpit, when all of them are placed in their respective spot Chrono said.

Chrono: "Prepare to lift off again in 5… 4… 3…2…1…go!"

Like before the other dinosaurs feels like there is an earthshake their bodies, like before it eventually stop, Stella then said.

Stella: "Return to Terra engaged! Coordinates written, time before beginning descent in the atmosphere… ten minutes!"

Chrono then walk to them and said.

Chrono: "How about we eat and drink water together? Don't you worry we even have Sharpteeth covered!"

All of them follow Chrono and Stella at the dining room, when they see Chrono and Stella sit on a weird things that the humans called chair those that doesn't have the height to reach what the humans called a table does the same while the adults and old adults just push the chairs aside, when all of them are set Stella said out loud.

Stella: "French salad! Number needed 32! Bucket of mineral water! Number needed 35! Plate of oysters! Number needed 2! Plate of grilled fishes! Number needed 2! Plate of worms! Number needed 1!

Suddenly two round holes in the table appear in front of everyone, the French salads in front of the Leaf eaters, the two plates of oysters in front of Ruby and Saphir, the two plates of fishes in front of the Sharpteeths, the plate of worms in front of Guido and with a bucket of mineral water in front of their plates, then Chrono said.

Chrono: "A French salad is a bunch of green foods with a delicious sauce on it that make the green foods more delicious and the water is similar to that of Thundering Falls! I hope you will like it!"

Stella: "For the Halftooth we also add something close to the inside of a snapping shells I hope you will like it too!"

Chomper: "And what do we have? I never smelled something like that!"

Chrono: "Well it's simply swimming scalies cooked by fire, I don't know by experience since we don't eat meat but cooked meat gets rid of the bad thing inside for you!"

Chomper: "I will remember it! It's the most delicious thing I smelled!"

Stella: "And Guido has a plate of worms because his kind needs what's inside of them to survive"

Guido: "Gladly appreciate!"

All of them begin to eat what meal they have in front of them, Chrono was right about what he said about the food.

All the Leaf eaters and Halftooth: "It's the best green food I eat in years!"

Ruby & Saphir: "The oysters were great too!"

Chomper: "You were right Chrono! Now I think I would never be able to eat raw meat again!"

Tyra make a face to show she loved it.

Chrono: "It was nothing, it just comes with intelligence"

Stella: "Now that all of us are done we should return to our position"

The other dinosaur follows back Chrono & Stella to the cockpit, when all of them are in place Chrono said.

Chrono: "Coordinates to Terra reached! Location Great Valley! Beginning descent in 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…0!"

The way of travel slowly descent and break the atmosphere of Terra, when the atmosphere has been break Chrono said.

Chrono: "Atmosphere of Terra breached! Beginning descent and landing to coordinates in 10… 9… 8… 7… 6 … 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… 0! We have safely landed inside the Great Valley!"

Chrono then walks toward them and said.

Chrono: "Welcome back to your home! I hope you enjoyed your travel with us!"

The others: "They were ups and downs but we're glad we came!"

Stella: "We appreciate your honestly, come on now everybody follow us!"

The other dinosaurs leaves the way of travel of the Rainbow faces, all of them made their way toward their parent's usual spot and then Chrono said to them.

Chrono: "I'm sure you are not going to look at the Night Circle the same way tonight!"

Littlefoot: "it's still like a dream to us"

Stella: "Trust me it is not"

Light: "And tonight there will be another vision for sure!"

And with that said the rest of the day passed as if nothing happened to them.

I was never a huge fan of Sci-fi but I think I did a good job with this chapter, when i though about the location of each orbs, this came the last in my mind like it was the best idea ever, I'm sure no other fanfiction has done this : a trip to the Night Circle and I hope you like the Chrono Trigger reference, I only play it last year and I got to say that he really earned his popularity and have aged very well.

If you think I got everything out of my bag yet sorry to say that but I'm not done yet.
