Penelope ran through the doors at the ER, Reid looked up and saw her and ran over to her, she said, "how is he, please tell me he's okay, please tell me he's okay". Reid said, "Garcia, calm down, take a deep breath and I'll tell you everything we know", she nodded her head and took a deep breath as she tried to calm down.
Reid said, "he was stabbed twice in the stomach, he's in surgery right now but he's stable, he's going to be alright", Penelope threw her arms around him and said, "I was so afraid that I'd lost him". Reid hugged her and said, "I know, I know" as he ran his hand up and down her back trying to calm her.
Dave and Hotch walked over and Dave said, "he's going to be alright kitten", Penelope said, "tell me what happened, what did he do to him"?, JJ said, "Garcie maybe you" and Penelope said, "no, please tell me, I need to know". Hotch said, "well as you know she drugged him and she was in the process of, well of" and Penelope said, "oh no, did she, did she rape him Hotch"?, Hotch said, "no, no, he was somehow able to fight the drugs enough to stop that from happening".
She listened as Dave said, "and from what we gather she became very angry and stabbed him and then when we got there she said that if she couldn't have him then nobody could and she got ready to stab him again when JJ and Reid took her out". Penelope hugged JJ and Reid and said, "thank you, thank you, thank you".
JJ said, "the important thing to know is that he's going to be fine, they are stitching him up right now and then soon you'll be able to see him, to touch him so that you know he's okay". Penelope blew out a deep breath and reached up and wiped away the tears that were streaming down her cheeks.
Emily said, "awwww honey, he's going to be okay", Penelope said, "I know, I know but I almost lost him, I don't know what I would do without him Em, he's the best thing that's ever happened to me". Emily looked at Hotch and smiled and said, "he's alive and in a few weeks he'll be as good as new", Penelope grinned and sighed happily as they sat down and waited to hear news of when Dereks surgery was over.
About 45 minutes later a nurse walked over and said, "Derek Morgan", Penelope stood up and said, "yes", the nurse smiled and said, "he's out of surgery and in his room now if you would like to go see him". Penelope said, "yes please", she said, "follow me" and they all fell in line behind the nurse as she led them down the hall toward Dereks room.
As she stepped into his room she felt her heart racing, he was hooked up to a heart monitor and his midsection was covered with gauze, she walked closer and took his hand in hers. She sat down beside his bed and brought his hand to her lips and gently kissed it and said ,"I'm here, I'm here and I love you so much".
Dave, Hotch and the others smiled at their friend and after staying for a few minutes they stepped out into the hall to give Penelope a few minutes alone with Derek. She blew out a deep breath and said, "I almost lost you handsome, but thank God I didn't, you're here with me and I'm never letting you go".
She laid her head down on the bed and said, "never", it was only a couple of minutes later before she felt his hand squeezing hers gently, she looked up and saw the weak eyes and handsome smile on his face. She stood up and said, "I love you", he said, "I love you too baby girl".
Penelope leaned over and gently pressed her lips against Dereks and said, "I almost lost you", he kissed her again and said, "but you didn't, I'm here and I'm not going anywhere". She intertwined their fingers and said, "you are the love of my life Derek and I know we've only been dating for a few" and he said, "WILL YOU MARRY ME"?, her mouth flew open and she sat in shock as she looked into the eyes filled with nothing but love that were staring back at her.
She said, "w what did you just say"?, he said, "will you Penelope Grace Garcia, my baby girl, the love of my life, will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me"?, she said, "their is nothing that I want more but are you sure"?, he said, "I've never been more sure of anything in my life sweetness, I want to spend the rest of my life with you".
Penelope rested her forehead against his and said, "yes, yes, yes a thousand times yes", he said, "when I get out of this hospital we'll make it official, okay"?, she kissed his lips and said, "I don't need a ring to know that I'm yours". He smiled and said, "but I want everybody to know that you are very much taken so just as soon as I get out of here a beautiful little diamond engagement ring is going right here on this beautiful little finger of yours".
She grinned and said, "I love you", he said, "I love you too baby girl" she leaned in and sealed their lives together with a kiss that was filled with nothing but love and passion as their friends watched from the hall.
