Chapter 21 - She's Kissing the Teacher! Oooh I'm gon telllll (sorry I couldn't resist or come up with a better chapter name so you guys come up with something. Lol)

Sunday

Their day was going well so far. It was a bright sunny day and the girls spent most of the morning shopping. But by noon, Rini was so hungry they retired to the Crown Arcade where a certain blonde college man took their orders.

It was a rather peaceful Sunday, not much happening. The arcade was strangely empty for a Sunday. They ordered food and soon Molly and more girls from school joined them. Rei chatted with the girls, noting with smug satisfaction that these same girls had been Serena's own personal entourage. Now they congregate around her, Rei Hino. In every way, it was obvious that she was superior to that spineless guttersnipe.

"Lita?" She heard Amy's soft voice say. She lifted her head to look at her two friends. They'd been quiet since leaving Darien's apartment. Actually, they had been quiet even before. In fact, now that she was thinking about it, she realized that they too had been acting weird for months.

Lita was not a silent person. Aggressive and always game for anything, the girl had become silent for weeks. Then there is Amy.

For the first time since knowing the girl, Rei felt proud of her that day a few weeks back when she stood up against Elizabeth who stupidly still thought Serena was worth something. But after that stupid boy shut her up, the girl had retreated even more into herself. Her normally quiet nature had gone stone cold silent. And yet Rei couldn't help but feel that Amy was on the brink of an eruption. Lost in her own contemplation, she was startled when one of the girls asked, "So where is Mina?"

"Yeah, it's not like you guys to go shopping without the queen of shopping." Another girl chipped in. Rei noted how Lita took this opportunity to look out the glass wall, pretending to be engrossed in something out in the street. A wrinkle creased Rei's brow as she tried to think up an answer. She didn't believe for a second that Mina had truly gone to Europe. Mina would have told her. They were best friends after all.

Amy shrugged.

Rei had told them that when she called to invite Mina, she hadn't answered her phone and hadn't called back. In essence, she has declined another invitation. Amy said the girl had gone to England for a visit. There were several things wrong with that story. Rei would get to the bottom of it later. Someone was lying. She needed to know what was happening with the blonde. She didn't want to give her room to start having doubts.

One, Mina never turned down shopping. Never.

Two, since Monday, it had become visibly apparent that Mina was keeping her distance.

She disappeared right after school, hardly returned phone calls, and when they met in school, she often tuned them out. All these behaviors were very unlike the bubbly blonde they'd known for years.

"She isn't feeling well so she took a rain check," Amy answered the girls. Eventually.

The lie was so obvious even the other girls raised a brow. But no one questioned her any further.

After consuming the food Andrew had plated for them, they went to see an afternoon movie. A ritual they'd been doing for about a year now since the movie theater started charging half price on Sunday mornings and afternoons. They left the theater with several of the girls they had lunch with, arguing over the merits of the movie.

They wandered around the shopping district, with no real destination in mind. Aimless. Until an interesting sight caught her eye. Rei gasped. The girls paused in their chatter to look at what she was looking at, and they too gasped.

Serena and...was that their music teacher?!...kissing like there's no tomorrow!

For minutes, no one said anything. Disbelief widened their eyes even as their brain tried to process what their visual sense was witnessing.

Serena Usagi Tsukino…..who was missing...was kissing….he who had to be Raizen….but...they weren't just kissing, it looked like the man was trying to devour the girl.

The girls blushed, witnessing such a hungry display of lust. Without permission, their feet brought them closer to the couple that was way too involved in themselves to notice anything. They couldn't seem to tear their eyes off the couple. Clothed and hands respectfully off private places did not downplay the eroticism of the scene. Raizen's arms were wrapped around Serena, crushing her to him. Her breasts were thrust up to receive him, demanding his entire attention. They heard moans and wet sounds that ignited their own lusts. Serena's arms were wrapped around his neck, her fingers gripped his hair at the nape of his neck, pressing herself to him even more. It was a wonder they still lived from the lack of air.

Then he groaned. Unexpectedly, his throaty purr quickened their hearts, a stream of heat flushing through their bodies. Some of the girls brought their hands to cover their faces, whether, in mortification for their own response to seeing such a hot heated kiss, or embarrassment at having to witness such intimacy, they didn't know.

Their sweet innocent Serena did not look so sweet in the thralls of passion. She looked possessed, determined, and sultry as sin. It was going to be impossible to picture her as anything other than the sensual woman she became in the arms of her apparent lover.

Rini watched the girl who would have become her mother in the future with a sense of awe and dread. She'd never seen this side of her. This passionate, lust-driven woman. She was used to her mother's, the Neo-queen, poised grace and ladylike manners, she was used to Serena's childishness and stupid attention-seeking lovey-dovey behaviors, but this...the girl in front of her was neither. She was neither the graceful future queen nor the stupid teenage girl. She kissed with the expertise of experience, her voice was a sultry purr in her moans, and her body, although clothed, radiated pheromones remnant of a siren's call.

A vision took hold in Rini's head. Something her father had said to her over two and a half years ago after the battle with Queen Nehelania of the dark moon. She remembered that conversation as clear as if it just happened.

***********************Flashback: Crystal Tokyo Almost Three Years Ago***********************************************************

Rini had just returned home from her adventures in her parents' past. She'd been back for a week now but there was a conference happening and so she hadn't been able to see her parents since her return. Her mother and father were in a meeting that had apparently been going on for hours repeatedly, daily. Ruling a world wasn't easy and Rini didn't envy her parents for the thankless job they did. There were times she didn't look forward to inheriting the throne at all.

Exhausted by the endless debates, Neo-King Endymion excused himself to go check on his daughter. He hadn't wanted to leave his wife to the wolves but she had insisted/demanded that he go see their daughter and welcome her back home. Since this conference was the Queen's idea, an attempt to restore the earth back to what it had been before the battle that unified the earth into one kingdom instead of separate countries, she felt it was her duty to stay and deal with the stubborn elders who would rather reap the benefits of another's rule than be responsible and accountable to the people themselves. Why work for little pay when you can have a title but leave all the responsibilities to someone else and get a lot of money in the process?

The Neo-king had agreed to leave only because his temper was getting the better of him and that was stressing his wife out. She felt guilty for suggesting such an impossible feat and putting him through the stress of trying to convince the world that returning back to individualize countries was a better course of action over time. Putting the fate of an entire world on the shoulders of two people was not ideal in the long run. Though Serenity and Endymion would live for thousands of years if nothing killed them due to Serena's immortal bloodline, they had no desire to rule for nearly forever. Their reign would last for only a millennia, then the throne would pass down to Rini and her descendants. They only had about two centuries left before they could retire and go on a permanent vacation. Oh, how they looked forward to their retirement. Well, that had been the plan. Until the Silver Crystal of the moon and the Golden Crystal of the earth decided after the battle with Nehelania that Rini was unsuitable for the throne and they would not accept her rule.

It had come as a heavy blow to the monarchs that their one and only heir had been found unworthy. Rini had some personal issues but they hadn't anticipated that it was deep enough to render her unworthy of the powers of the crystals. Without the crystals to help continue the legacy of peace and prosperity her parents' reign had brought, Rini will not be able to maintain peace and order, and the earth will fall apart, becoming worse than it had been before the dawn of Crystal Tokyo. This was the future that had been revealed to the neo-monarchs if they insisted on letting Rini rule.

After weeks of bitter tears and heart-wrenching discussions, the Neo-queen decided on this course of action. She couldn't allow herself to lose more people she loved, or allow others to be sacrificed no matter the outcome. She could no longer bear children. She'd lost too much. After losing him, and nearly dying in the process of birthing Rini, her womb had been sealed. She had only two choices really. It was to either separate the kingdom back into different countries ruled democratically, hopefully, by different governments, or rule indefinitely. The later was a fate worse than death. They couldn't do this for all their existence. At some point, they will have to enter into their rest to be reborn or their powers will fail them, and they could become the most dangerous enemies the earth would ever have to face. Old powers, old beings had a tendency to self-destruct. Too many would die. Very few beings in the universe would have the power to stop them once their powers become unmanageable, which it would, with time.

The Sailor Scouts descendants would be given the responsibilities of killing their monarchs, and possibly the older Sailor Scouts, to save the earth and its people. A responsibility too heavy for anyone to bear. And that's assuming they had enough power to do so.

Which meant they had to come up with an alternative solution to this unfathomable problem.

Though the king wholeheartedly agreed with his wife, he knew the world would not easily accept going back to a time when hunger and injustice reigned because governments cared little for their citizens. Since the dawn of Crystal Tokyo and the ascension of Serenity and Endymion as Queen and King, hunger was almost completely eradicated, justice was served to the rich and poor equally with mercy and rehabilitation for those who needed it, most of the earth's diseases were nonexistent, the earth had resolved its pollution and waste, and magic was now a real power that everyone can use, although sparingly. The waters were clean and magical pools had sprung up all over the earth to cure illnesses. Priestesses, priests, pastors, and faith healers were now better equipped to deal with mental illness and over the course of time have helped develop many techniques that have reduced much of the Earthians' mental health afflictions. Job hours have been reduced to thirty hours a week, giving people more time to spend on recreational activities and family time. Education now happened in the most convenient ways and it was universally free except for those seeking degrees beyond the Ph.D. levels.

Life had vastly improved from one corner of the earth to the other all thanks to the superhero monarchs who were as kind as they were strong, and wise beyond their years. It hadn't been an overnight success. It had been a systematic implemented strategy over decades that had brought the earth from the brink of destruction into a glorious paradise. Years of hard work and sometimes, unpleasant retributions and sacrifice had gained the peace and tranquility Crystal Tokyo enjoyed. No, people weren't going to give up on this life anytime soon. Years of battle and debates were all Neo-king Endymion could see moving forward.

But he knew his wife.

Knew how unstoppable she could be when she set her mind on something, knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that she would eventually have her way. He just had to last long enough to see her vision realized, and protect her with everything he's got, and not kill the council of elders and governors in the meantime. Oh and make sure his daughter learned about this change in plans in the most painless way possible.

Rini would be hurt, there was no getting around that. But he and his wife would do their best to minimize the pain of betrayal she would feel, help her understand that this wasn't her fault. There was still a big role she would play. It was a blessing that she'd been spending so much of her time in the past. She'd been back for a week now and the Scouts had been ordered to keep her from learning about the situation. The King and Queen wanted the opportunity to talk to her themselves, to help ease her into their new reality.

When Neo-king Endymion appeared in his daughter's room and saw her sitting by the bay window overlooking the rose garden he had created for her upon her birth, his heart ached at the pain he could not spare her from. She looked so much like her mother and she was growing and developing confidence in herself. Before the attack from Prince Diamond and the dark moon family, his daughter had always felt inadequate next to the beauty that was her mother. But since meeting her mother's past self and becoming Sailor Mini Moon, the woman stuck in a child's body was finally showing signs of growth and wisdom.

Why? Why now did the crystal decide that she was unworthy? She was growing! She was learning! Neo-king Endymion sighed, pain ripping him apart.

He worried greatly about the mental impact of this news to his daughter, but it was his wife he was seriously concerned about. Serenity had shut down since learning of the crystals' decision. She'd gone quiet and retreated, even from him. The last time she retreated from him, that had been right after….after him.

For a decade, she disappeared.

No one knew where she went. They hadn't known if she'd ever return. He'd ruled alone for the first ten years.

He'd waited for her, would have waited forever. Every day of that decade was so painful it was hard to breathe. He'd wanted to take his own life at times. It was the knowledge that she still lived that kept him going, hoping, and praying. He'd made millions of wishes. He wished on any and every star he saw, regardless of whether it was falling or stuck in the inky black-blue sky. He'd wished on every birthday cake regardless of whose birthday it was.

Then there were the roses.

Every day he'd summon a rose. Different colors until he went through the whole spectrum and created other colors that to this day still had no names for nothing in nature could ever reflect those hues. He'd placed them at the park where they had spent many good times and many bad times as well.

The park, over the course of time, became a hill. And the hill became known as the Hill of Healing and Forgiveness. From his actions, a tradition was born. People began placing flowers there when they've wronged someone they are no longer in contact with, especially people who passed away before they received apologies from those that had wronged them. And the magic that had been introduced there from Endymion's roses would carry the apology to the person or off into the stars. The hill was now a pantheon of flowers of all kinds. Every flower in the world could be found there. It was not a small hill, in fact, it had grown to become a very large hill, scaling the size of a large city.

The day he made the black rose, the ten-year anniversary of her disappearance, he'd given up on life and sat at the park, waiting for death to take its due. When he opened his eyes, he stared right into swirling pools of blue and silver. He'd taken her home to shocked eyes and happy tears. She never told them where she went. Hardly ever talked about those ten years away. The most she'd ever said was, "I needed to heal."

He couldn't go through that again. Never again.

"Daddy?" he's head snapped back to his daughter who was standing nearly a foot in front of him. Her eyes were big in her small face, concern written all over her features. How had she appeared before him without him noticing? It had been a very long time since anyone other than his wife took him by surprise. He shook off his concerns and placed on a big smile for her.

"Sweetheart," he said lovingly, opening his arms for her. She ran happily into his big arms and he folded her into his chest as he bent down.

"I missed you, papa," she said, emotion clogging her throat. Being in her parents' past often buffered her isolation from her real parents but whenever Rini saw them, it hit home how much she loved and missed them. And how lonely she was without them.

"And I you, my love. It is good to have you home."

When they settled down on her bed, she questioned him about what was going on. He told her as much as he could without mentioning the touchy part of the tale knowing his wife wanted to be there when they told her. It would be better that way. His wife was great at dealing with Rini's insecurities. Wisdom from personal experience with feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem in her younger years had made it possible for her to relate to their daughter's sometimes unhealthy low self-value.

"She's holding her own but the old ones are a force to reckon with as you well know," Endymion said softly, chuckling at the many times his wife had wanted to throttle the elders but instead had put on a great show of civility and patience. Rini laughed, very well able to picture her mother's inner monologue of death to each and every elder who was giving her grief.

"It's so weird. Mom is so different from her past self." She said. King Endymion raised a brow.

"How so?" He asked. Yes, his wife had changed. He had changed her. Losing him had really changed her.

"Well, Serena has no patience, no diplomacy, and would full-on throttle anyone who makes her mad. Mom, on the other hand, has so much control and grace. Mom is beautiful and sexy and everything a woman could possibly wish to be. Serena is neither graceful nor overly beautiful. She's cute but lacks all sensual appeal. She couldn't command a room full of kids even if she tried. I can't imagine her dealing with these obstinate old men. " Rini explained. She struggled at times, reconciling her mother with the younger version. They seemed like two impossibly different people. King Endymion smiled gently at her.

"They have different strengths for different times in their lives. But at their core, they are the same. However, do not forget that the Serena you know is a young impressionable teenager. The mother you know is nearly a thousand years old. Years and experience strengthen and refine what is already there. But I do disagree with you on one point. Serena was as sensual as your mother. The difference is that your mother is fully and utterly developed in her own sense of self and thus owns her sensuality and sexuality. Serena was irresistible when she wanted to be. Serena in her teenage years went through an identity crisis and wasn't always confident in herself." That caught Rini's interest. She was aware that Serena wasn't always self-confident. That was something Rini understood well.

"So being confident makes you sexy?" she asked.

"Confidence is the sexiest thing about a woman. Confidence gives you an edge that you otherwise wouldn't have. For Serena, her confidence and self-worth were tied to the people around her. The more love and acceptance she received from those she loved, the more confident she was. Whenever she was in a situation she felt safe and loved and wanted, she was incredibly breathtaking."

"Really?" Rini asked skeptically. She'd never really seen Serena breathtaking before. When she was in her princess dress and form yes. When she was in her Sailor Moon uniform yes. But Serena Tsukino, the girl, had hardly anything to brag about. Did that mean she didn't feel safe and loved and wanted even with Darien?

"Yeah. Very stimulating and wild, and incredibly sexy. She could easily drive a man to his knees with lust." He said, not bothered that it was his daughter he was talking to. The young woman was 700 years old give or take a couple of decades, even though she inhabited the body of an eight-year-old. Since coming of age, Endymion and his wife had always treated her like the woman she was even when everyone else babied her because of her physical features. It was important for her self-image. While he wasn't going to discuss his sexual exploits with her, he also refused to treat her like a three-year-old and talk baby talk to her.

In truth, the King was lost in his memories of the past, remembering the many nights his then-girlfriend had broken down his will to abstain and he'd attacked her like a starving man. It surprised him she hadn't gotten pregnant early on from the many times he'd hungrily jump on her without protection. Of course, this was after high school. High school years had been rough for her and for everyone. But after high school, her confidence surged and she showed a side of herself no one was prepared for. She had left him mindless at times, desperate to join with her as intimately as possible. To stake his claim. He wasn't ashamed to admit he'd begged her one too many times on his knees, and taken her like a beast whenever she gave him that sultry stare that invited trouble. Or the times he'd kissed her, intending it to be a chaste and innocent exchange, but she'd wrapped herself around him and he was lost to sensation, waking up from his haze of lust and need only when he was satiated. That often meant he found himself naked, in bed or in some dark corner, with her, also naked. He'd groaned and lament his lack of control as she laughed, leading to them often going round two, or three or a couple dozens.

Looking at his father's far off look and strange smile, Rini rolled her eyes, not wanting to imagine her parents in any position other than vertical and clothed. Fully clothed. With six feet between them. Better yet make it thirteen.

*******************End of flashback***************************************************************************************

"Your mother is irresistible when she wants to be." She remembered what her father had said. Looking at the girl with her arms wrapped around her lover, her mind gone but her body alive with energy, flexing to the tune of the man's kiss, she finally understood what her father had said, especially when the man groaned a sound far too close to pain and yet filled with all the sweetness of passion and heaven.

Rini blushed from head to toe. She'd seen people kiss before. She'd seen Serena and Darien kiss. But this felt different. Looking at the lip-locked couple, it felt intrusive to be watching them. It felt wrong. And yet, they looked like they were made for one another.

Serena with anyone other than Darien felt wrong but the Serena in front of her seemed alive. As alive as the Neo-queen when she was in the embrace of her husband.

A sense of unease began to creep up Rini's spine.

Why was Serena kissing another man?

Then she thought about how distant Darien had become recently and her sense of unease took on a whole new gravity.

Rei was stunned. Just stunned.

She had never believed Serena was capable of such passion. Of such...lust. The girl was wiggling against the man like a damn snake.

'Did she ever kiss Darien like this?' Rei thought, producing an image of Darien and Serena passionately locked in an intimate embrace. At once, her heated skin turned cold at the image. Her shock vanished and in its place a fury like none other. She shook with the violence of her emotion.

'How dare her.' Rei thought vehemently through a red haze of hate.

She had been asked to give up her feelings for Darien because they claimed he was Serena's soulmate. She'd buried her feelings behind a wall of duty to her princess even as her heart broke over a love that was not given a chance to be more. She'd faked happiness for the couple, forced herself to date an unworthy suitor to take her mind off the one she truly wanted but couldn't have. And all that for what? A cheating, whoring scumbag who pretended innocence even as she seduced men! She had a boyfriend but apparently Darien wasn't enough for her, she had to seduce another man. Cheat on her faithful loving boyfriend with a man that was her teacher for Kami's sake! How could such a cheating scumbag like her be worthy of the man Rei loved?

And her grandfather was angry at her for not wasting her time and energy searching for this whore? Missing? No, she was not missing. She was fucking her teacher.

'She's probably been at his place the entire week!'

What kind of sick joke was the two playing? Because of this stupid girl, she was about to lose her birthright!

This stupid, selfish slut had become between her and the man she loved, and now she had come between her and her grandfather. And she was rewarded with another man? No! That was just not fair and Rei would be damned if she let the girl get away with it.

Serena was going to pay, pay for all the pain she'd experienced.

Rei's anger exploded into something dark and hateful, a cold rage, a wrathful thing that wanted to lash out. Filthy ugly hate brought out words she could not restrain. Before she had time to censor her language, a mocking smirk lifted the corner of her mouth and she spoke.

"Well well well...what have we got here? If it isn't a teacher molesting his student. Or did the little tramp come onto you?"

Everything stilled. Even the heavily heated couple. It was as if the very air had stopped moving to bear witness to the audacity of one so young.

Gasps from her companions only embolden her.

She watched with self-serving satisfaction as almost immediately, the lovers stilled. Then he was standing in front of Serena, his body shielding the little tramp from their view.

'You don't get to hide today! I will expose you for the slut you are!' Rei declared internally.

She opened her mouth to dish out another scathing insult when the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end. Goosebumps rose on her arms as a sensation of cold dread washed through her like a bucket of ice water.

When he turned to face them, his body a barrier between Serena and them, Rei's attention was completely taken off Serena when her eyes beheld his dark fury.

"What the fuck did you call her?" Raizen asked, his voice a deep dark smoothness that belied the uncontrolled wrath in his burning cold eyes.

The girls stepped back with the hairs on the back of their necks rising to the unveiled threat in Raizen's voice. Terrified and unprepared for his hostility, they wanted to run. Even though there was no visible sign of the power Stirling in Raizen, his eyes betrayed an intelligence of dark appetites.

A need to destroy was palpable in the air.

Rei, whose big mouth had brought down the rage of this man on them, seemed to have gone speechless. Her courage and bravado vanished in the face of someone who tolerated no disrespect. Her rage replaced with a sudden need for self-preservation and fear when she realized that perhaps she'd stepped on more than she can handle. This man was not Darien. Attacking Serena in the presence of this man was not a smart move, he was not Darien who wouldn't say anything. She remembered what he'd done to Mina when the blonde made derogatory remarks about Serena.

Rei gulped.

She saw in his eyes storms of fire that wanted to consume his enemies. The vengeance that demanded the spillage of blood. This man would kill without a moment's hesitation.

For the first time, the fire soldier feared that element which was her birthright. She'd taken a step back when Raizen turned his angry eyes on them, an instinct to flee. There was no fight. This was not a situation to fight but to flee to the ends of the world and pray he never found her. Deliberately, he took a step towards them, a predatory gleam to annihilate on his face.

Rei shuffled back, gulping, shaking.

The other girls, with the exception of Amy and Lita, shook with fear, tears gathering in their eyes. Even Amy and Lita were shaken by the animalistic need to destroy that was apparent on Raizen's face.

"What the fuck did you call my woman?" he asked again. His voice wasn't loud, it was the lethal coldness in it that made it feel like thunder was splitting in their ears.

'Holy fuck.'

"I…" Rei tried but her voice was too shaky, her heartbeat hyperventilating as her fight or flight instinct disappeared altogether. She wanted to curl her trembling form on the floor and submit wholeheartedly to his power.

"If you ever speak so disrespectfully to and about my Serena ever again, There. Will. Be. No. Hole, No. Space. You can crawl into that I. Won't. Find. You and Fucking. Destroy. You. Do. You. Understand?" he said slowly, his words punctuated with real threat and anger, his very presence daring her to defy him, to say anything other than 'yes sir' to him.

But Rei did not reply, there was something in his eyes too dark it petrified her.

"Do you understand?!" He roared, causing all of them to jump and cry out, even Serena.

"Yes yes yes!" Rei responded frantically.

She lowered her head, too overcome to maintain eye contact with two pools of dark eyes that seemed to have come straight out of hell and seared her soul. Her fingers fisted and shook, clammy with the sweat of nervousness she was too scared to notice.

"Now be gone before I forget that I am a gentleman."

Scared, Shaken, humiliated, and overwhelmed, the girls scurried off like frightened squirrels.

Silence took their place.

From the other side of town, three newly arrived soldiers stopped in their tracks as they felt power wash through the earth.

"Holy shit."

"What the heck is that!?"

Finally! I can get back to Serena and Raizen now! It's a lot easier to write them than the others. If not for you guys I'd forget to include the others lol!

Enjoy! Oh and Review!
