Part 23 Jordon Returns to Full Power!
All right, guys. So Cartoon Death Battle Fight Club will be delayed until summer starts. And Pokémon Z: the Indigo League saga will be on hiatus until this story is finished. Also this chapter will be in the general point of view. Please enjoy this chapter, everyone.
Last time on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon ZB, our heroes were chosen by the rest of the Expedition Society to work on the World Map! Which both Jordon and Lucia accepted right away. Also Buizel stopped Krokorok from messing with Lucia, and when Krookodile tried to save him when Buizel in turn threatened him, Jordon leaped into the scene, and Krookodile and Krokorok then left. And that very same night, Kaiden and Jennifer offered to let Jordon and Lucia come overseas with them. They accepted, and find out where today's adventure takes our heroes, now!
The next morning, after the usual morning meeting, Jordon and Lucia were approached by Kaiden and Jennifer, and Kaiden said to them, "Alrighty, we got all the items we are going to need."
"So are you two ready to go?" Jennifer then asked them.
"Of course we are! Right, Jordon?" Lucia asked Jordon.
"You know it!" Jordon said.
"Well then, let's go to the harbor then." Kaiden said as they then left.
When they got to the harbor, the Lapras that was sitting in the water said, "Hello, Kaiden and Jennifer. Taking the kids out for a little fun today? It's a lovely day for it. What fun!"
"Actually, Lapras, it's for work." Kaiden told her.
"But this kind of work is fun, too! I for one am totally pumped!" Lucia then said to Lapras.
"What's this? You even have kids working for you now?" Lapras then asked Kaiden and Jennifer.
"Yes, me and Lucia here are part of the Expedition Society." Jordon then told Lapras.
"Really? I thought children weren't allowed to join the Expedition Society..." Lapras then said.
"Ampharos approved of it this time." Jennifer then told Lapras.
"I guess there's no arguing it then! Well, if it's for work, then I guess I'll just have to make an exception! Even if you are still children... I suppose two society members like yourselves can ride without an adult!" Lapras then told them.
"Really? Thanks, Lapras!" Lucia then said to Lapras.
"But we'll go along with you this first time, just in case." Jennifer then told Jordon and Lucia.
"But first, we'll have to get you two some passes, and then..." Kaiden started before Jordon interrupted him.
"Passes?" Jordon asked him.
"You'll need a pass to cross the ocean to another continent, of course. Once you've bought yourself a pass, you can use it as many times as you like. You can buy Lapras Liner Passes from the Kecleon Shop here in town." Lapras then told them.
"But we'll need money, right?" Lucia then asked her.
"If money is going to be an issue... why not just have one of your guardians here pay for you?" Lapras then asked them.
They then looked at Kaiden, and after a minute, he then asked, "Huh? Me?!"
Kaiden then said, "Guess I have to say yes here..."
And after they got the passes they then left.
Later, "Wake up, sleepyheads! We're just about to land." Lapras told them.
"Huh? What?" Kaiden then asked her.
"*yaaawn* When did we fall asleep?" Lucia then asked.
"Well, I don't know." Jordon then said.
"I feel like I've been sleeping for hours... where did we end up, anyway?" Jennifer then asked.
They then found out that they were at a town of some sort. "I guess my brain is still sleeping, because I've got no idea where are... I'm completely lost." Kaiden said.
"There's a shocker." Jennifer then told Jordon and Lucia.
"Hey!" Kaiden then said clearly hurt.
"Why don't we fire up the Expedition Gadget's map and have a look?" Jennifer then asked Jordon.
Jordon then did so and then they found out that they were on the Air Continent. "What in the- th-the Air Continent?! Wait... what?! We...we came all the way to the Air Continent?!" Kaiden asked.
"Kaiden..." Jennifer started to say.
"ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS TAKE US TO SOME LITTLE ISLAND NEAR THE TOWN! How could you dump me here, Lapras?!" Kaiden asked Lapras.
"Me? You're the one who gave these kids passes to the Air Continent." Lapras said.
"Urk! I did? I never even looked at the passes that I bought... sorry, guys. And this is your first trip overseas and everything... look at me ruining your first big trip because I wasn't paying attention..." Kaiden then told them.
"We're totally fine with this! We came all this way, so let's at least have a look around!" Lucia then said.
"Erm... just for a little bit then." Kaiden then said.
"Well, this is Baram Town. It has a café, Kecleon and Hawlucha's shops, and a Deposit Box, just like in Lively Town. And you can go exploring Mystery Dungeons here too. All of the dungeons on the Air Continent can be reached from this town's gate." Jennifer then told them.
"But we're not going to any of them today. You got that? We will have a quick look around the town and then get you two back home safe." Kaiden then told them.
"Alright." Jordon told him.
When Jordon and Lucia approached the town's gate, "Don't you two think we've seen enough to call it a day already? We should be heading back home." Kaiden said to them.
"What? Already? We've barely seen anything!" Lucia then said to Kaiden.
"It'll start getting late if we don't turn back soon. We should set out now." Jennifer then told her.
They then overheard a Skorupi say, "Are you serious? That sounds terrifying!"
"I know! I don't even want to think about it... Pokémon being turned into stone like that!" an Amoonguss then said.
"Pokémon are being..." started Lucia.
"Turned into stone?!" Kaiden then asked.
"E-excuse me! Sorry, but could you explain what you all are talking about here?" Jennifer then asked the three Pokémon.
"Oh... about Pokémon being turned into stone?" the Electrike asked her.
"It just keeps on happening around here. Pokémon showing up, rock-solid stone." the Skorupi told them.
"They're been turned into stone? Like, it's not that they became stone... but they've been turned into stone? Because that would mean that SOMEONE is turning them into stone, right?" Jordon then asked them.
"That's what it seems like. Not that anyone has any idea who would do such a thing... or how." the Amoonguss then told them.
"Rumor has it that it's the work of the Flaming Phantom." the Electrike then told them.
"The Flaming... Phantom?!" Lucia then asked the three Pokémon.
"I doubt it's really a phantom or anything... probably just a Pokémon like us... but... but some say that they've seen him near the Pokémon that were turned to stone. And they say his body is wreathed in flame. So rumor has it that he may be burning Pokémon until there's nothing but ash. And that's got everyone all spooked and calling him the Flaming Phantom." the Electrike then said.
"There are other rumors, though, about Pokémon being turned into stone... all kinds of Pokémon have been falling prey up till now, but... they say recently it's Legendary and Mythical Pokémon that are being targeted. So I've heard, anyway." the Skorupi then said.
"Somebody was saying they saw the Flaming Phantom near the Mystical Forest. Time Travel Lake is in the middle of that forest... and the Mythical Pokémon... Celebi." the Amoonguss then said.
"That's why everybody's all in a lather over the rumors again... and wondering if it might have come for Celebi next." the Electrike then said.
"But the Mystical Forest is frightening... nobody wants to go investigate if it's true." the Skorupi then said.
They then felt a rumble, and the Electrike then asked, "Whoa! What was that?!"
They then saw two Pokémon crash into the forest. "Something crashed down there!" the Skorupi said.
"There's a huge cloud of dust... and it's coming from the Mystical Forest!" the Amoonguss then said.
"The Mystical Forest?!" Jordon then asked.
"Everyone, please calm yourselves! My name is Kaiden." Kaiden then told the crowd that appeared.
"And my name is Jennifer, and we are members of the Expedition Society." Jennifer then told the crowd.
"The Expedition Society? The one on the Water Continent?!" the Electrike then asked.
"We Expedition Society members will go and investigate what is happening here. We ask that you all stay calm and remain here! We will... We will... We... will..." Kaiden said.
"You'd better not think of counting us out! Of course we're going!" Lucia then told him.
"No, you're not! It's too dangerous for two kids! Didn't you hear what they said about that Flaming Phantom and Mystical Forest?! We can't let the two of you face that kind of danger! Not on your first day! And besides! You'd probably just end up getting in our ways!" Kaiden then said.
"Yeah, but think of all the things you won't be able to do if you're alone out there! You two can't do this on your own. And we won't hold you back! You have to let us help! Please!" Jordon then told him.
"We really don't have a choice." Jennifer said.
They were then allowed to go into the forest.
Later at the end of the Mystery Dungeon, "Seems to me we've come pretty far..." Lucia said.
"Hm? I can see something over there!" Jennifer then said.
"You're right! Let's go check it out!" Jordon then said.
They then found themselves in a clearing. "Over there!" Lucia then said pointing in a certain direction.
And what they saw terrified them. It was a Pokémon that was stone. "Isn't this..." Lucia began before being interrupted by Jordon.
"The Pokémon that was flying through the sky earlier? It crash-landed here?" he asked them.
"Kaiden! Jennifer! This is... a real Pokémon, isn't it? But it's gone all stiff... as if... Agh! No way! It's just like they said! It's been turned to stone?" Lucia asked.
"Yes... It definitely looks that way." Kaiden then told Lucia.
"I don't recognize this Pokémon, though..." Lucia then told him.
"His name is Latios. He is a Legendary Pokémon." Jennifer then told her.
"What? A Legendary Pokémon?!" Jordon then asked.
"That's right. This is the first time I've ever actually seen him myself, though." Kaiden then said.
"Weren't there two Pokémon flying through the sky when we saw them? We'll go look around for the other one!" Lucia then told him.
"Yeah, you do that." Jennifer then told them.
Jordon and Lucia then left.
I still don't like to think about that. Lucia said.
You and me both. Jordon said.
Later, Jordon and Lucia came across another clearing. "Jordon! Look at that!" Lucia said.
They saw another Pokémon that was stone. "This one has been turned to stone, too! Jennifer said that other Pokémon was called Latios, right? This Pokémon looks a whole lot like it... maybe they're related or something?" Lucia then asked Jordon.
Then it suddenly got dark, and a mysterious voice then asked, "Impudent fools! What have you come here for?!"
"Who's there?" Jordon asked.
Then some fire appeared and an Entei appeared from it. "He came from INSIDE the fire?!" Lucia asked.
"I asked what you have come here for!" the Entei then asked them.
"What for...? J-just to check..." Lucia started to say.
"Check what? Whether your turning Pokémon to stone was a success?! Are you the ones who did this?!" the Entei then asked them.
"Whoa! What're you getting mad at us for?" Lucia asked him.
"I am Entei the Volcanic! And I shall be your end!" Entei then told them.
"WHAT?!" Lucia then asked.
"Prepare yourselves for judgement!" Entei then said.
Jordon then put his hands into a cup position and fired a Kamehameha at Entei. "You dare?!" Entei asked him.
"I do!" Jordon said as he turned Super Saiyan.
He then rushed towards Entei, unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks, which did absolutely nothing. "So Super Saiyan isn't doing anything to you. I guess I'll have to go to the next level then!" Jordon said as he turned Super Saiyan 2.
"This is Super Saiyan 2." Jordon told Entei.
Jordon then unleashed another barrage of punches and kicks while also adding in some Ki blasts. And it also did absolutely nothing. "Onto the next level I guess then." Jordon then said as he turned Super Saiyan 3.
"This is Super Saiyan 3." Jordon told Entei in a deeper voice.
He then put his hands into a cup position and said, "Ka... Me... Ha... Me... Ha!"
As he then fired a Kamehameha. Which actually did a tiny bit of damage to Entei. "Damn it! I'm not doing enough damage. Onto the next level then." Jordon said as he turned Super Saiyan 4.
"This is Super Saiyan 4." Jordon told Entei.
He then put his hands into a cup position once again and said, "X10 Kamehameha!"
As he fired this red Kamehameha at Entei. Which did some damage, but not as much as what Jordon landed on Entei next. "DRAGON FIST!" Jordon said as he flew in a dragon illusion and hit Entei with it.
It didn't do enough damage though. "That's it! I'm going all out!" Jordon said as the fur on the top of his head and his pupils turned red as he turned into Super Saiyan God.
"This is Super Saiyan God." Jordon told Entei.
Jordon did land some damaging blows. But it wasn't enough. "Why?! Why am I still not strong enough to protect Lucia?! I... WON'T HAVE IT!" Jordon said as he then started to transform.
The fur on the top of his head started to turn light blue and stick up, as did his pupils also turned light blue. Then Jordon turned Super Saiyan Blue. Jordon then put his hands into a cup position and said, "Ka... Me... Ha... Me... Ha!"
As he fired his strongest Kamehameha he had unleashed yet. It did a lot of damage, but then, "STOP!" Kaiden said as he and Jennifer then appeared in between Jordon and Entei.
"K...Kaiden! Jennifer!" Lucia then said.
"Jordon! Lucia! Stand down! Entei is not an opponent you can beat!" Jennifer then told the two.
"Who are you?!" Entei asked that two newcomers.
"I'm Kaiden." Kaiden then told Entei.
"And I'm Jennifer! And we're from the Expedition Society!" Jennifer then told Entei.
Entei then backed off, and left. However, Jordon and Lucia received one last surprise. "Jordon. We're your parents." Kaiden told Jordon.
Jordon decided to skip dinner that night.
Hey, Jennifer here. So Jordon finally knows the truth. I'm so glad. But I'm worried about if he will still accept and love us. Next time on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon ZB, Jordon and Lucia's Intense Training! Don't miss it.
