And the hype of the Sports Festival continues! Now originally this chapter was gonna be longer, covering the entire cavalary battle. However, I didn't realize just how dang long the calavary battle is. Adding in the extra moments I'm adding in, I just thought the chapter would end up being too long and settled for splitting it in half. Plus hey, a cliffhanger adds into the tension and who doesn't love that? Haha, well with all that said I hope you all enjoy!

After what felt like forever of waiting…the first student crossed the finish line and reentered the stadium…

"AND THE WINNER IS IZUKU MIDORIYA!"

The crowd absolutely roared as they saw the winner of the race was none other then everyones favorite greenette Izuku Midoriya. When Izuku heard that he had won, he had come to an absolute stop. Despite feeling pretty exhausted and completely out of breath, he couldn't help but quickly look around the crowd.

He first spotted the teachers box where some of the teachers of UA were watching the Festival. Most of them being teachers that taught the first years considering this was the Festival for the third years. But The only one Izuku had his eyes on was the skinny form of All Might who was looking down at his successor. A proud look and smile on his face as he gave Izuku a strong nod.

The 9th One for All user had tears building up in his eyes and did his best to hold in the Midoriya Brand Water Works. Just then Izuku heard incredibly loud sobbing that he knew could only come from one person. Looking to the source, he saw his mother completely soaking the section of the stadium she was sitting at with everyone around her suddenly having umbrellas to shield themselves from the water.

And in Inko's was his little sister Eri who was actually beaming at him. Her red eyes literally shining as she looked at her winner of a brother. At this point, Izuku just couldn't hold it in anymore and started crying. Though not in the way of a super squirter like his mom but simply having tears falling onto his cheeks which he quickly tried to wipe away.

All the while the business course students were talking about Izuku's stock while using a pad to conduct a market simulation.

In case anyone was wondering, no, they really had no reason to be here.

As Izuku was trying to wipe away his tears, the ones he was in a close neck and neck with earlier soon came into the stadium again. Second was Ruby, and then Jaune who came to a grinding halt on his shield, and then Todoroki and finally Bakugo. The latter of which was completely seething in rage at coming in at 5th.

Todoroki narrowed his eyes at Izuku, who had finally stopped crying, before simply walking away. All the while more and more students came back into the stadium. Some were still plenty hyped up as they finally came back into the stadium and were raising their fist in the air. Others, mainly Iida, were a bit glum about their placement in the race and thinking they could have done much better.

However, the most upset was Momo as she came in panting with an irritated expression on her face. "How could this happen…" The creation quirk user said in between breaths as she stepped back into the giant stadium. Why was the reason Momo was so upset?

Because clinging onto her back with his signature purple balls was Mineta with a bruised cheek and a bloody nose. "Two birds with one stone." Mineta said with a disturbingly giddy tone. "I'm a genius!"

"You…are the worst!" Momo glared at the miniature pervert.

"Don't worry Yaoyorozu." A voice said causing a chill to come to Mineta as both he and Momo looked to see Yang approaching them. Her eyes red and set on Mineta as she cracked her knuckles and reared her fist back. Mineta and even Momo flinched a bit at this. "Let me take care of this little parasite."

"…Mercy?" Mineta pleaded only to receive a strong blow to his unbruised cheek and that sent him flying off of Momo's back.

After that little…incident, more and more students came running back into the stadium. Nearly all of them hero course students with their being a few exceptions. Soon enough, after the 51st student came through the gate, Midnight announced that, that was it. The first 51 students to arrive would be moving onto the next round. The screens in the stadium then showed everyone's ranking…

Once everyone's ranking was announced, everyone had to wait further for the rest of the students from the rest of the courses to show up. Thankfully it didn't take to long as once it was announced that all the spots were filled up, the students from the other classes, many of whom weren't even able to pass the robots, simply turned around and came back from the gate they started at.

All the students at UA were once again in the stadium with the first 51 at the very front closest to where Midnight was making the announcements about the next round. "Alright students!" Midnight spoke to all the UA Students. "Only the first 51 of you will be qualified to make it into the next round. But don't be too let down if you didn't make the cut! We've prepared other opportunities for you to shine." Midnight licked her lips at this remark before going on. "Not the real fun is about to begin. The chance to fully move yourselves into the limelight! Give it your best!"

The holoscreen behind Midnight came up again and once again started the roulette to determine what the next game would be. "Let's see what have in store for you next." Midnight said with a grin as the roulette kept going. "Will your wildest fantasies come to life? What could it be? The waiting is torture!" Midnight then readjusted the mask on her head as she pointed her whip at the holoscreen. "Prepare yourselves…for this!"

CAVALRY BATTLE

After what felt like forever, the roulette finally revealed that the next event of the Sports Festival would be a Cavalry Battle.

"Cavalry battle?" A not to pleased Kaminari said. "I'm terrible at those."

"Huh?" Tsuyu said with a finger on her chin. "Its not an individual event. I wonder how they'll split us up."

"This one's certainly going to have to require a lot of team work." Pyrrha commented with a serious look in her eyes. "Cooperation will be the key to victory."

"Allow me to explain." Midnight directed everyones attention to the holoscreen behind her as it changed to show a picture of 13, Present Mic, and Oobleck carrying All Might. "The participants will form teams of two-to-four people as they see fit. In theory its basically the same as a regular playground game. But there is one big difference. Each play as been assigned a point value based on the results from the obstacle course."

"Alright that makes sense." Ruby nodded as she and everyone else paid close attention to Midnight's instructions. "It's pretty much a point-based game. Kinda like the entrance exams."

"Sounds simple to me." Yang said as she gave her sister a big pat on the back.

"So that means each team will have a different point value based on which students are on it." Ochako summarized with Mina nodded in agreement to the gravity user.

However, just then the sound of a cracking whip got everyones attention as they looked to see a rather ticked off Midnight looking at Ochako. "Maybe you should shut up and let me explain things to you!" Midnight yelled causing all the students to flinch. The screen behind Midnight then changed to something resembling a score board showing the names of all the advancing students along with a point count next to them with Aoyama being the lowest at five and Ruby at 250. But for some reason it didn't show how many points Izuku had.

"Now then," Midnight continued her explanation of the upcoming event. "The point assignments go up by increments of five, starting from the bottom. For example, 51st place is worth five points, and 50th is worth 10. And the point value assigned to the first-place contestant is…

"TEN MILLION!"

Izuku froze.

All the color left his body.

"…T-T-T-Ten Million?!" Izuku quietly yelled. Completely terror all over his face. And that terrifying feeling only increased as he looked around and both saw and felt the gaze of 50 people on him. They were practically looking at him in the same way that a predator would look at prey.

Midnight looked down at the scene with an almost pleased grin on her face. "That's right. It's survival of the fittest with a chance for those at the bottom to overthrow the top!"

'…I've made a horrible mistake.' Izuku gulped audibly as he now started to regret taking the first-place spot of the last game. If one looked closely, they could practically see Izuku's heart beating faster then it probably ever had before.

From the teachers stands All Might looked down at his successor with a serious look in his eye. 'Now you know the burden of being the best.' All Might mentally said as he clenched his bony fist a little bit. 'A massive target is placed on your back by both heroes and villains. Heroes hoping to take your spot for themselves, and villains wanting to take you down. Its tough no matter what side.'

From the stands, Inko had an anxious expression on her face as she saw all the kids down there looking at him like a lion would look at a wounded gazelle. Eri pulling on her sleeve got her attention as Inko looked to see Eri pointing at presumably Izuku with a worried expression on her face. "Mama, is Izuku going to be ok?" The 5-year-old ask, her worry for her brother clear in her tone and expression.

Inko did her best to put a strong smile on her face and nod. "Don't worry sweetie." Inko reassured her daughter as she hugged Eri tightly from behind. "Its like you said during the race, Izuku is strong. He can pull through just fine."

Eri took in Inko's words before turning her head forward and raised a fist in the air before cutely yelling. "You can do this big brother!" Inko smiled at her successful attempts to reassure her adoptive daughter before she went back to worrying about her son and the predicament he was in.

"Now then, here at the rules you'll abide by." Midnight then went on to explain the exact rules of the game after dropping the ten million points bombshell. "The game itself will last 15 minutes. Individual point values will be added together to reach your team total. Everyone will know how much you're worth thanks to your headbands. Swipe as many headbands as you can to raise your team's score. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up. So the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them. And another thing, even if your headband gets stolen or your team falls down, you can keep playing until time's up."

"So its anyone's game." Momo said with a hand on her chin.

"So you must keep your focus the whole time." Weiss had a serious look on her face as she went through the rules again on her head. "With the different teams and quirk combinations, it'll be nearly impossible to try and make a plan beforehand. Its best to make one initial stradegy at the beginning and adapt as the game goes on."

"But if you lose your headband at the beginning you have more time to make up a plan." Mina brought up after hearing the Schnee heiress words.

"I guess so." Blake said with an unsure tone as she also thought about the game. "But if you lose it at the beginning it could end up putting you in bigger risk if you have trouble getting other's headbands. Especially considering whatever team you might be on."

"This event will certainly be rough." Midnight spoke up again. "You may use your quirks as much as you like. But there are still rules! Make a team fall on purpose and I'll slap you with a red card. You'll be disqualified!"

"Tch, fucking pussies." Bakugo angrily muttered after hearing that rule.

Just then a timer appeared on the holoscreen. With 15 minutes on the clock, the words 'Make your team' appeared above it. "Now, you've got 15 minutes to build you teams. I recommend you get started!" And with that announcement made, the timer started and everyone around was quick to start making their teams.

Izuku was quick to put a hand on his chin and start planning things out in his head. 'It doesn't matter how many points my teammates have since I've got so many. I just need to make sure I pick the right people. Okay, I know who I want!'

Looking around, Izuku saw that many people were already teaming up. He saw Ruby drag Weiss, Blake, and Yang together, a bunch of members of his own class crowing around Bakugo, even Mineta got Shoji to team up with him somehow. Meanwhile Izuku knew the type of quirks he would need to do well in this game and just how to do it.

However, there was only flaw in Izuku's master plan.

No one wanted to team up with the guy with a giant target on his head.

No one was even coming close to Izuku. With 10 million points on his head, everyone would be gunning for him. And to no one's surprise it seemed like no one wanted to be a part of that massacre. In a desperate attempt to get someone Izuku stepped over to Tetsu with a desperate look and tone. "Hey Tetsutetsu, what's up?" Izuku nervously asked the steel quirk user.

Tetsu sweat dropped and gave Izuku a sheepish smile before awkwardly backing away. "Sorry Brodoriya…" Tetsu said to the greenette as he backed away to some of his classmates with some of the color leaving Izuku.

'It makes sense…' Izuku dreadfully thought as he started shaking. 'No ones worried about keeping their own headbands the whole game. It's a better strategy to steal as many points as you can at the end. Meanwhile I anyone paired with me would need to focused on defending from everyone else! What am I gonna do?!'

"Hey Deku!" Suddenly a familiar and friendly voice spoke up from behind the greenette. He moved his head in an almost robotic fashion and saw Ochako looking at him with a big smile on her face. "Let's team up!"

Immediately geysers worth of tears came sprayed out of Izuku's eyes. Ochako covered her face as she got a little wet with the ground around them getting soaked. "Uraraka! Are you sure?" Izuku asked, desperately hoping his mind wasn't tricking him with false hope of someone actually wanted to team with him. "Everyone'll be after me and my ten million stupid points! Tell me you're not kidding!"

"If we run away the whole time then we'll win right?" Ochako said with her usual positive and enthusiastic nature.

"Um, you're either overestimating me or underestimating everyone else here." Izuku said with his eyes finally stopping their impression of Niagara Falls. But despite his words, Izuku couldn't be happier that there was someone that wanted to team up with him.

"Phooey!" Ochako said with a pumped-up fist. "Anyway, it's better to team up with people you like!" After hearing this, Izuku felt his heart clench…along with his face. "Is something wrong? You look so gross?"

"No, I thought my chest was gonna explode for a second." Izuku said as he quickly started wiped his eyes as well as the rest of his face dry. "Actually, I wanted to team up with you too. Thanks a lot. For a game that requires so much teamwork, it's smart to find people you communicate smoothly with." Ochako nodded strongly in agreement. "In fact, if we have your quirk and two more people…you know what, I think I might have a solid plan."

Ochako rose a brow, curious to what Izuku's plan was, as she watched Izuku approach the two people he was referring to.

Jaune and Iida.

Izuku approached the two separately and brought them both over to him and Ochako. The four of them gathered around as Izuku discussed the plan. "So me, Uraraka, and Iida would be horses with Iida in the front. Using Urarka's quirk the three of us would me way lighter so we'd be able to maneuver around really easily. No one could catch us. And with Jaune's quirk he could act as support, defense, and even use it to blind and disorient people. So long as we stay evasive and defensive, we should be able to keep the headband the whole game as long as we're careful."

Both Iida and Jaune looked down a bit and were silent for a moment until it was Jaune who spoke up. "It's a good plan." The golden blond admitted with an unusually low tone. "As usual, you always seem to think of amazing plans so quickly."

"I must agree." Iida nodded in agreement; his tone also low. "But…I'm afraid I must refuse your offer."

Ochako and Izuku gasped at this, but before they could ask why Jaune spoke up again. "Yeah…me to."

"W-What?!" Ochako yelled with a shocked look on her face. "But why not?!"

Iida and Jaune looked to each other, silently wondering who should speak first, until Iida gestured for Jaune to talk first. Nodding at Iida, the golden blond looked to his best friend and started giving his reasons. "Remember what you said in our speech?" Jaune asked with Izuku nodding. "We're both going to have to defeat each other. Yeah, we could still work together now and defeat each other in the final round…but I think this should be where we part ways for the Festival. I was close to beating you last round…and this round and the next I want it to be me who comes out on top. You're my best friend and we've done everything together since forever…but one on of us can make it to the top. Not just in this festival, but also as heroes. I formed my own team…I'm sorry. Good luck."

Izuku was completely silent as he watched Jaune go over to said team he formed. The team consisting of Jaune himself as well as Nora, Pyrrha, and Ren. Though he didn't say anything, he understood Jaune's decision and respected and even agreed with it. They both wanted to win and come out on top and that was an unsharable spot. So, despite officially competition against each other last round, this one where things would be getting real.

"My reasons are more or less the same." After that rather tense moment, Iida spoke up with his reasons for not teaming up with Izuku. "Since this all started, I've been losing to you. Please don't take this as an insult. You're a great friend, but if I continue to follow you, I'll never get stronger." Iida adjusted his glasses before looking right into Izuku's eyes with a challenging glint in them. "Bakugo, Todoroki, and even Arc just now have challenged you already, but they aren't the only ones who see you as a rival."

Izuku and Ochako then watched as Iida turned around and walked away towards the team he was already on before Izuku asked him to join his. This team consisted of him, Momo, Kaminari, and as its leader, none other the Shoto Todoroki. "Midoriya…I'll try my best to defeat you." Those were the Engine Quirk users last words to the greenette before he rejoined his team.

"Woah…" That was all Ochako could let out after hearing the words of both Jaune and Iida before she started desperately looking for anyone else that could team up with them.

'So, its already begun…everyone's an enemy.' Izuku said seriously in his mind. Looking around, he got a look at a few of the teams that were formed. Bakugo was teaming up with Kirishima, Sero, and Mina. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang were all teamed together. Tetsu was on a team with Juzo, Awase, and Ibara. 'I'm at the top, and they'll all be coming for me. I can't rely on anyone. Not this time.'

Midoriya! Uraraka! Over here!" Suddenly Izuku was snapped out of his thoughts as he and Ochako turned to the source of the voice. Both class 1-A students smiled as they saw the bunny girl herself Velvet Scarlatina bouncing towards them. "Hey guys!"

"Scarlatina!" Both Izuku and Ochako said in unison with smiles on their faces.

"So I saw the two of group up and if I'm guessing right Arc and Iida declined your offer to join your team?" Velvet asked with sympathetic tone and look. Izuku and Ochako sighed as they nodded their heads. That was the answered Velvet was expecting as she had both seen and heard a bit of the previous conversation. "Well maybe I could help you two out a bit. I'd like to join your team!"

"Really?!" Ochako asked with a giant smile on her face.

Izuku blushed heavily as Velvet gave a strong nod. "Scarlatina…" Izuku said to the rabbit girl before a smile came to his face. "Thank you so much!"

See his face and hearing his words, Velvets cheeks turned a light shade of red. "Of course!" Velvet said as she tried to keep her happiness under control at Izuku allowing her to be on his team. Deciding to show both of them what she had, she showed off the box strapped around her shoulder. "Now check this out!"

Velvet held out the box for the two in front of her to see with Ochako raising an eyebrow in confusion with Izuku looking it over carefully. Something about the box seemed familiar to the greenette. "What is it?" Ochako asked with a confused tone and look.

"I think Midoriya should be able to guess it." Velvet said as she winked at the greenette.

Izuku looked over the box a few more times before the feeling of déjà vu it gave him became more powerful. Finally, something in Izuku's mind clicked. "Is that…Anesidora?" Izuku guessed as he looked up at Velvet.

The bunny girl smiled and nodded her head causing Izuku to grin. "And before the Festival and while Midnight was talking, I managed to sneak a picture of all the gear everyone brought." Velvet revealed only making Izuku's smile go wider and for Ochako to become more confused as she had no idea what they were talking about.

"So that means we'll have tons of stuff to work with!" Izuku said as he looked down at Velvets creation. Easily one of the most versatile pieces of support gear ever.

"Um, are either of you two gonna explain this to me?" Ochako asked as she couldn't keep up at all.

"Oh, right, sorry." Velvet sheepishly apologized to the Gravity Quirk user. "Well long explanation short, I can take pictures of various weapons and support gear and use this to create physical holographic versions of them to use. Just for a little bit though."

"Woah!" Ochako let out, extremely amazed by Velvets piece of gear. "That's so cool!"

"Thanks." Velvet said with a smile on her face. Just then her rabbit ears twitch as she looked over to a team of four and gained a confused look. "Wonder what was up with Hatsume?"

"What was that?" Izuku asked, not quite having heard what Velvet said.

"Well its just…my classmate over there was acting really strangely earlier." Velvet explained as she pointed to the girl she referred to as Hatsume. Said girl being the pink haired girl Ochako ran into during the obstacle race. "Could have sword she was on her way over here just like me, but suddenly that purple haired kid from General Studies came up to her and now she's with him."

"Huh, weird." Ochako hummed with a raised brow.

"Well…we can't worry about that right now." Izuku said with a serious tone as he put a hand to his chin and quickly started to plan things out with these new circumstances. 'No being able to team with Iida or Jaune was a definite blow. I've Uraraka and Scarlatina now. But…I still need one more.' With him, Ochako, and Velvet looking around, they saw nearly everyone was teamed up already. It seemed that Mineta was on a team with Shoji and Tsuyu. Toru was with Jiro, Koda, and Sato. Even that purple haired boy from General Studies had Hatsume, Ojiro, and Aoyama on his team. 'It looks like everyone is on a team already. It's fine. We can work with that. In fact, I know exactly what power our team is missing. And the person who can fill that spot is…'

Izuku's eyes widened as he spotted the person who could provide exactly what he was looking for. Ochako and Velvet watched with a raised brow as Izuku walked over to this person and put a hand on their shoulder to get their attention and said only two words.

"Join me!"

"Huh?" Eri let out from the stands as she watched who exactly her big brother approached.

"Is something wrong Eri?" Inko asked her daughter, noticing her shift around.

"…Its him." Eri quietly muttered as she continued watching, holding onto her mother tightly.

Soon enough, the 15 minutes to assemble teams was over. Midnight was seen stretching as a grin came to her face. "Oh, goody. It's time to get this party started." Midnight announced.

"Alright folks, after a grueling long 15 minutes its finally time to start the next event!" Port commented as he and Oobleck were quick to go back at it in their little box up above. "We have 14 teams and only the top 6 will be allowed to advance into the third and final round."

"Its certainly going to be a warzone down there." Oobleck followed up on Port's words. "This event will test many things. Stradegy, team work, offensive and defensive skills, and of course, pure determination. Only those who truly want it will be able to move forward."

"So lets give it up to the teams that will be battling for points out there ladies and gentlemen!" Port cheered with the crowd soon following as a leader board appeared on the screens around the arena showed the various teams and their point value.

With 10,000,555 points was Team Midoriya consisting of Izuku, Velvet, Ochako, and Tokoyami.

With 785 points was team Tetsutetsu consisting of Tetsu, Ibara, Juzo, and Awase.

With 765 points was team Schnee consisting of Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang.

With 745 points was team Nikkos consisting of Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, and Ren.

Also with 745 points was team Bakugo consisting of Bakugo, Mina, Kirishima, and Sero.

With 685 points was team Todoroki consisting of Todoroki, Iida, Momo, and Kaminari.

And that was just a few of the teams in what was bound to be a grand event. And when thing was for sure about almost all the teams. They all had their eyes on the sweet, sweet, ten-million-point headband.

"Alright everyone, lets give one more dramatic countdown before this game begins!" Oobleck with a small grin on his face as everyone got ready to start running once the timer hit zero. "Three!"

"Get em." Bakugo told his carriers as he cracked his knuckles.

"Two!"

"He's ours." Todoroki said with his eyes locked on Izuku.

"One!"

"We will win this." Jaune said with a determined looked as he, Ren, and Nora kept Pyrrha up.

"Begin!" Midnight finished the count down and officially started the calvary battle.

The second Midnight gave the word, the chaos quickly started. All the teams took off as fast as they could with one sole target in mind. Team Midoriya. "It's basically one big battle for ten million points!" Tetsu yelled as his team carried him towards the greenette.

Toru cackled as her team carried her towards Izuku…with the invisible girl topless for some reason. "I'll be taking that headband, Midoriya!" Toru yelled to the ninth One for All user.

"We're coming!" Nora laughed like a mad woman as her team ran towards Izuku. Pyrrha was use her powers to the fullest and was rotating both her and Jaune's shields as well as her Milo and Jaunes sword to use for either offense or defense.

"That even giving us a chance, huh?" Tokoyami said with Dark Shadow projecting out of his body. "Such is the fate of the pursued."

"This is it." Ochako said followed by a gulp.

"Make your choice, Midoriya!" Tokoyami said quickly to the greenette, Izuku having both the 10,000,555-point headband around his head and Anesidora strapped over his shoulder.

"You got this." Velvet reassured the greenette.

"That's easy." Izuku said as the decision that should be made was quite simple. "We're running away!"

"Or rather jumping!" Velvet with a wink before gaining a serious look. "Alright everyone, like we planned!" Velvet, Tokoyami, and Ochako all bent their legs down in unison, getting ready to jump.

"Don't think so!" Tetsu yelled as Juzo smirked, as much as his face would allow him to that is, and activating his quirk and quickly started softening the ground in Izuku's direction.

"Now!" Velvet yelled as, right before the softened ground reached them, she and her fellow horsed all jumped up in unison.

"What the hell?!" Toru and a few others yelled as they saw Izuku and his team jumped high into the air and through all them.

'It worked!' Izuku thought with a small smile on his face as his team started to approaching the ground. 'With Uraraka making everyone but herself weightless, he can take advantage of Scarlatina's amazing jumping ability and hop over everyone else! As long as they stay in sync, we can out maneuver everyone. I have to use Anesidora wisely. I can only get one, maybe two uses of each piece of gear it recreates. I can't waste a single one.'

"What the-damn bunny!" Tetsu yelled as he turned his head over to the team bouncing around like a flea. "After them!"

"Jiro now!" Toru yelled to her front horse.

"Right!" Jiro said as she extended her earphone jacks over to team Izuku as they were in midair as quick as she could. But before they could reach Izuku and his headband, Dark Shadow came in and shielded Izuku, causing Jiro to retract her jacks. "Stupid bird!"

"Good work." Tokoyami praised his sentient quirk. "Please, continue to watch over our blind spots, Dark Shadow."

"You got it!" Dark Shadow gave his host a thumbs up.

"Wow, that is seriously cool!" Izuku complimented Tokoyami as his three horses continued to jump in sync, next staying on the ground for more then a second. "Your shadow is just what we needed. It'll take care of our omnidirectional mid-range defenses! Tokoyami, you're amazing!"

"You are the one who chose me." Tokoyami said in a humble tone.

"Come on! We can't lose them!" Toru said as her team was doing their best to try and follow the constantly hopping team Izuku. "We have to wait for the right-"

"Yoink!"

"Huh?!" Suddenly Toru and her team's vision was clouded by a swarm of rose petals alongside the laughing of what sounded like Ruby and Yang. "Whats going on?!"

"I can't see!" Sato yelled as rose petals covered his eyes.

"Thanks for the headband Hagakure!" When the rose petals finally cleared, Toru and her teamed looked in surprised to see Weiss with her team's hand band around the heiress neck. Ruby was the front horse of team Schnee for maximum speed with Yang and Blake in the back with Weiss herself wielding Myrtenaster and creating defensive glyphs around her.

"Oh come on!" Toru yelled as she and her team watched as team Schnee quickly retreated from them at high speeds.

"Good job Rose, keep up the pace." Weiss genuinely complicated the red themed girl as she kept her eyes peeled at all directions. "And see Yang, me and Belladonna told you this strategy would work."

"Alright fine, maybe vulturing wasn't a bad idea." Yang rolled her eyes at Weiss's words and just decided to go along with it. Before the game, the golden blond girl was quick to pitch the idea to gun for Izuku and his many points. But it was actually Blake who spoke up and said that might not best idea. Almost everyone in the game would be going for him to so it would be a total warzone where they would be distracted and vulnerable. Plus, the cat girl had a hunch that a few students would take advantage of that and suggested they do the same.

There was a bit of debate, but in the end, it seemed that Blakes idea won out. And so far, it seemed to be working. "Oh! Let's get team Kodai's headband next!" Ruby suggested with a mad grin as she was already plenty enjoying herself with this game.

"And hear we see the great competitive nature of our students at work." Port commentated as the action only kept going, not stopping for even a second. "We're only two minutes into the round and its already a complete free for all! A real man's competition!"

"Remember everyone, you don't need to get the ten million points to advanced to the next round." Oobleck gave some advice to everyone in the competition. "You can also go after more but smaller headbands."

"Hahahahaha!" The mad laughing of the worlds smallest pervert got Izuku and his teams' reaction as they saw Shoji running at them with his arms almost completely covering his back. "This isn't a fight! It's more like a massacre!"

"It's Shoji!" Izuku yelled as the dupli-arms quirk user charged at them. "Is he by himself?!"

"We don't have time to worry about that!" Velvet yelled as she looked around and saw more teams approaching them. Come on everyone, we need to keep jumping!"

"Wait, somethings wrong!" Ochako yelled as she failed to get on of her feet off the ground. "I can't move my left foot!" Everyone looked to Ochako's left foot and saw a familiar purple ball under it and sticking her foot in place.

"That's Mineta's ball!" Izuku pointed out as Izuku looked for where the midget perv could be while Ochako continued to fail at freeing her foot.

"Right over here~" Izuku looked to the source of the voice and flinched when he saw Mineta waving to him rather menacingly within the walls Shoji's arms were making. "Hi Midoriya!"

"What?!" Izuku yelled as Mineta cackled. "Is that even allowed?!"

"Judges say yes!" Midnight answered.

Just then a familiar tongue came shooting out of the confines of Shoji's arms and webbing with Izuku quickly ducking out of the way with Tetsu also having to dodge. Looking to Shoji again, Izuku was now seeing both Mineta and Tsuyu sheltered in the arms of 1-A's tallest student. "Impressive moves as usual." The frog girl complimented.

"Oh man." Izuku gulped a bit nervously. "You've got Asui in there too?"

"Call me Tsu!" Tsuyu yelled before she and Mineta completely hid themselves with Shoji's arms again as Mineta started to rapidly throw his purple balls at Izuku and his team with Tsuyu constantly shooting out her tongue.

"Oooo, a clever stradegy from team Mineta!" Oobleck complimented as Izuku was forced to activated full cowling in order to dodge everything came at him. On the bright side, this assault was also distracting the other teams. "This is the perfect example of a team using all of their abilities to their maximum potential.

'Have to get them to fall back somehow!' Izuku quickly thought of ways to get Mineta and his team off them with Ochako still struggling to get her foot free. It was when he dodged Tsuyu's tongue again that he thought of one. It was rather dirty, but it was all he could come up with. 'Alright, time to put Anesidora to the test!'

Izuku wait for Tsuyu to send her tongue out again and once it did, he quickly activated Velvets master piece of a support item. Appearing in Izuku's hand was a blue holographic outline of a shock baton. With the baton in one of his hands, Izuku used his other to grab Tsuyu's tongue when it was close enough. "Sorry about this Tsu!" Izuku then proceeded to hit Tsuyu's tongue with the shock baton. What resulted was the electricity it created conducting all the way to Tsuyu and then even her teammates.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Shoji, Mineta, and Tsuyu yelled as they were shocked.

Tyusu quickly retracted her tongue as a disoriented Shoji was seen trying to keep standing up. "Bot coo Midoya!" Tsuyu's voice could be heard yelling at him. It looked like the shock also caused to talk in a lisp as well.

"Grrr, I still can't get free." Ochako growled a bit as even though Mineta's team was temporary stunned, the purple ball wasn't letting Ochako go anytime soon.

"Just take your shoe off!" Velvet yelled at the Gravity quirk user.

"Oh…right." Ochako, with a feeling of embarrassment coming over here, quickly slipped up her left shoe. "Ok! Let's jump!" No more need to be said as Izuku's the horses continued to make use of Velvet's rabbit abilities and jump away before any other teams could catch up to them.

"Alright, we got away." Izuku said with relief as he wiped some sweat of his head.

BOOM!

Suddenly, while still in the air, Izuku and his team heard the sound of explosions and looked to see the explosion boy himself Bakugo propelling himself away from his team and flying towards them with a crazed look in his eye. "Don't think for a second that your safe!" Bakugo yelled as he had his eyes locked onto the headband on Izuku's head. "I've got you!"

"Tokoyami!" Izuku called out to as he used Anesidora to make something again.

Tokoyami nodded as Dark Shadow quickly shielded Izuku's entire team from Bakugo as he created an explosion. While the shielding was successful, it seemed Dark Shadow flinched violently from the explosion. "What the hell?!" Bakugo yelled as Dark Shadow quickly retreated away from the explosion quirk user.

Bakugo then looked to see Izuku in a bit of a batting formation with his hands holding a holographic outline of Nora's hammer. "Take this Kacchan!" Izuku yelled before slamming Bakugo's face with the hammer copy.

Bakugo violently grunted as he was sent towards the ground at high speeds. But before he could hit it, a piece of long tape hit his shoulders. The tape belonging to one of Bakugo's horses Sero who pulled on his tape as hard as he could to bring Bakugo back to him and his other teammates. "Woah you ok Bakugo?" Kirishima asked as some blood started leaking out of Bakugo's nose.

"Deku…" Bakugo growled like a feral beast as he wiped the blood of his face. His teammates flinching as they saw the completely livid look on his face. "WHEN I GOT MY HANDS ON YOU YOU'RE DEAD!"

"My, my, you can just feel the determination coming off of these kids." Port chuckled as the crowd roared and cheered. "Now then, we're 7 minutes in and halfway through the competition so lets see the current scores!"

First Place – Team Izuku

Second Place – Team Monoma

Third Place – Team Schnee

Fourth Place – Team Tetsutetsu

Fifth Place - Team Nikkos

Sixth Place – Team Todoroki

Nearly everyone in the crowd went silent as they all saw the scoreboard. Even the two commentators and Midnight seemed surprised by the turn of events. "Well this is certainly unexpected!" Oobleck announced to everyone in the stadium, with most agreeing. "Other than team Midoriya and Schnee class 1-A is falling in the ranks!"

As this was said, suddenly Bakugo felt his headband being removed. His points quickly going to zero.

"Even Bakugo is losing!" Port said with surprise in his voice.

Bakugo looked with dilated eyes at the stealer of his headband.

Class 1-B's Neito Monoma.

"Your class is too small minded." Monoma mocked Bakugo with a smirk on his face. Plenty of other headbands wrapped around his neck plus the one on his head. "Think bigger."

"He got us!" Mina yelled as she and her fellow horses looked to Monoma and his team in surprise.

"What did you say?!" Bakugo quickly directed his rage to Monoma. "Come back here!"

Monoma's horses, which were Kosei, Sen, and Kuroiro, stopped as Monoma started to put Bakugo's headband around his neck. "Midnight said the obstacle course was just the first game, and we figured they wouldn't cut that many of us right off the bat. Would they?" Monoma began explaining his plan to Bakugo's team. "Assuming they kept at least 48 contestants for the next even, all we had to do was make sure we stayed within that group as we ran. From our spots in the middle ranks we could fully observe the Quirks our rivals had and judge their capabilities. Only a fool would obsess over winning the preliminary rounds, wouldn't you agree?"

Bakugo gritted his teeth, Monoma's words only further angering the Explosion Quirk user. "You planned this as a class?" Bakugo growled.

"Well, it was far from unanimous. Sad to say many from my class were obsessed over taking the top spots as I'm sure you've seen with our class rep." Bakugo clicked his tongue in response. He knew Monoma was referring to Jaune. "But for those of us with common sense it's turning out pretty well I'd say."

"Hey, that Schnee girl and her team are coming." Sen said as he saw Team Schnee approaching them.

"Its better then acting like a front runner like a horse with a carrot waving in his face." Monoma continued to mock Bakugo as his team slowly started to run away from the incoming girls. Bakugo's eyes started violently twitching as veins started appearing on his head. "Oh, while I have your attention, you're kinda famous, aren't you? For being attacked by that sludge villain. You'll have to tell me about it sometime. It must be strange to always find yourself in the role of the victim."

That did it.

Bakugo's rage was about at its maximum as the ash blond had a brand-new target.

"Kirishima…we have a change of plans." Kirishima looked back to Bakugo and flinched as he could see the rage coming from the ash blond with his eyes glowing red and looking right at Monoma. "Before we take down Deko…we're gonna kill every last one of these B-list idiots!"

"Wow…didn't expect some of class 1-B to think of something like that." Velvet commented as she and even the rest of her team had managed to hear Monoma's words. "Not sure whether to be impressed or…kinda mad."

"Well it will certainly leave them with a bigger expression." Izuku said as Velvet and Ochako rose a brow at him. "Can't deny, everyone does kinda love an underdog."

"Yeah that's true." Ochako nodded before a smile came to her face. "But on the bright side we won't have to worry about Bakugo for a while! And I doubt some of them will be after your headband Deku if they just plan to try and take first in the last round!"

"I wouldn't be so sure about that." Tokoyami said with a serious tone as he and the rest of the horses of team Izuku were forced to come to a stop as not one, but two teams approached them.

Izuku's eyes widened as he saw that in front of him on the left was team Todoroki, Iida as the front horse and Momo and Kaminari as the back worse and both wearing roller-skates most likely made by Momo.

And on in front of Izuku on his right was team Nikkos, Nora as the front horse and Ren and Jaune as the two back horses. Pyrrha was using her polarity to levitate and her and Jaune's shields to both sides of her head, shielding her headband, while also having Jaune's sword in one hand, and Akouo in the other hand.

Eight eyes looked right at Izuku and his team, more specifically his headband, as Todoroki narrowed his heterochromia eyes as Izuku and Pyrrha doing the same as they both said in unison…

"That headband is mine!"

And to think, things are just getting started!

Both Todoroki and Jaune are after Izuku, Weiss and her team are going for the good ole vulture strategy, and Bakugo is still set to kick Monoma's ass like in canon. Gotta love how anime can cram all of this into 15 minutes am I right?
