Scene 22
Kakashi had just finished explaining to Naruto about Nature chakra changing and Naruto had split to multiple shadow clones to quicken his training.
Kakashi watched as Naruto went at it for hours when suddenly he heard a voice.
"Kakashi!" exclaimed a cheery voice.
It was Kaiya.
Both Kakashi and Yamato turned.
Yamato smiled, "It's been a while since I've seen Kaiya, she's grown."
Kakashi sighed, "That's right, the last time you saw her was on the mission right?"
He nodded.
"I brought you some lunch Kakashi, oh' she noticed Yamato, 'I didn't know you'd have someone else here too."
Yamato sulked, "she doesn't remember me."
Kakashi laughed, "Kaiya, this is Yamato. Well actually he's someone else, but at the moment Yamato he is."
Kaiya understood quickly, he was Anbu. "Nice to meet you, hmmm' she looked at him closely 'you look familiar." squinting.
"Yamato here was actually one of my partners back then Kaiya."
She then gasped, "I remember now, I heard you were working with Naruto on the last mission in Kakashi's place. It's been a long time." smiling.
Yamato smiled, "You've grown a lot I see. Kakashi has told me a lot about you as well."
Kakashi blushed, "Well not too much you know."
"Kaiya!" exclaimed Naruto who's shadow clones quickly disappeared.
"Naruto!" she smiled once again.
A smile that warmed Kakashi's heart.
"Didn't think I'd see you here, but of course you and Kakashi are always together."
The two looked at each other and then blushed.
Kakashi then came up with an idea, "Hey Kaiya, Naruto is learning Nature changing chakra, do you care to share any wisdom?' he then turned to Naruto, 'Kaiya here mastered such during her chunin exams actually."
Kaiya nodded, "That's right, I'm a water element user and lightning."
Naruto, "Really? I can see that in you. But can you only use it when water is near you?"
Kaiya shook her head no.
Kaiya then began to explain, "Water is everywhere Naruto. After it rains, it evaporates into the air and condenses into clouds right. So technically it's all around us. My advice for you is to truly feel the element around you. Find it around you and grasp it physically. Use your environment to your advantage. The wind is all around you with the air. Really listen to it." noted Kaiya.
Naruto nodded and smiled, "Thank you Kaiya" running back to training.
Kaiya chuckled watching Naruto.
After lunch passed and Kaiya went to go see Tsunade.
"Kaiya really learned how to do chakra change during the chunin exams" Started Yamato.
Kakashi sighed, "Well you of all people know she's different. You were one of his experiments once too."
Referring to Orochimaru.
Yamato was confused, "Yeah, but what do you mean?"
"I don't know for sure, but I think Kaiya was taught by Orochimaru nature chakra change but didn't really know. She was taught to do something odd. As she said, water is everywhere. Well, Humans are 60% water right?"
Yamato nodded.
"Kaiya is able to use that water within people to make them into some sort of puppets," explained Kakashi.
Yamato gasped, "What in the world?! And you think Orochimaru was the one who taught her such?"
"I have no clue actually,' replied Kakashi, 'It was after the Third Hokage died, that Kaiya was in a dark place. It took a really long time for her to recover. Well after a while, she started training again and I caught her using some sort of jutsu to control a pet fish I had. Before I knew it, she mumbled, "Rollover" and the fish rolled over like a dog in the fishbowl. When I asked her about it she just shrugged and said it was something Orochimaru tried to have her do with animals, mainly mice. Remember how she was locked up.?"
Yamato nodded to show he was following.
"Well, one time she did it on a mouse and Orochimaru made her tell the mouse to bang itself on the wall. She didn't understand but did what she was told. The mouse banged it's head to death. When she tried healing the mouse, she got in trouble." concluded Kakashi.
"What in the world! I knew Orochimaru was demented, I experienced it. But this is just to fucked up!" exclaimed Yamato.
Kakashi nodded, "What I don't know, and Kaiya can't remember either, is whether Orochimaru taught her this or not. Kaiya just remembers doing it. But she expressed that Orochimaru couldn't, just would order her to train more."
"So why was she training when the Third Hokage passed away?" asked Yamato.
"Kaiya thought if she had still practiced, she could've convinced Orochimaru to kill himself. Control him like a puppet. She blamed herself heavily back then." he answered,
The two men remained quiet for a while until Kakashi stood up to stretch and NAruto got the waterfall to split in half.
"Kakashi Sensei did you see that!" naruto yelled.
