Dream Come True

Iori's Ending

The days following finals, Ema noticed Iori seemed a little down... He was even more quiet than usual, he didn't eat with the rest of them, he stayed in his room a lot, and he seemed to be avoiding Ema, it worried her. Did I do something wrong? Is he angry at me? But when she asked him, Iori would brush it off and insist he was fine, even though she knew he wasn't. She was determined to get to the bottom of it and swore to herself she'd confront him sooner or later.

On the evening of her graduation, Ema came home and ran to Iori's room, hoping to run into him. To her surprise, she sees Iori's bedroom door is wide open. She peaks in: the room inside is completely empty. Her eyes widen in shock. She looks out the window and sees Iori carrying two large duffle bags across the yard.

"Iori...," she says breathily.

She runs outside, picking a carnation on the way, and rushes to Iori. She pounces on him and embraces him from behind, he gasps softly.

"Ema-chan?," he questions.

"Please don't leave me, Iori-kun!," Ema shouts in his shirt, clinging onto him, her hands clutching his shirt for dear life.

Iori looks down with a grim look on his face: "Why not? You like Fuuto anyways..."

Ema pulls away from him: "What? No, no! Look!" She hands him the flower, Iori's eyes widen. "This is for you!," Ema says, blushing.

"W-what?," he questions, taking the flower from her.

"The carnation means 'I am in love with you', no?," Ema asks shyly.

Iori stares at the flower, before shifting his eyes to stare at the girl before him, at loss for words. Ema blushes even harder, Iori's intense gaze made her knees weak and her heart race. She begins to panic, thinking he was about to reject her, but her fears float away when he throws his arms around her, softly crying into her neck.

"I-Iori-kun?," Ema questions.

"I can't believe you remembered..," Iori says breathlessly. Ema hugs him back. He pulls away to look at her face: "Do you really love me?" Ema nods in response. Iori laughs in disbelief: "NO WAY! NO WAY! I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!"

Ema sighs of relief. She laughs, overjoyed. "I love you too, Iori-kun!," Ema exclaims. He grabs her face and presses his lips against hers.

When he pulls away, he says: "I-I thought you were in love with Fuuto...," he admits.

"Why would you ever think that?," Ema asks.

"W-when you were taking your finals, I decided to watch the drama we were in together... A-and I noticed how you and Fuuto interacted and it seemed... so real... Your acting was so believable, I was worried you had actually fallen him... I love you, but I was afraid Fuuto could make you happier than I ever could... So I tried to ignore you so that maybe I could forget these feelings... I'm sorry...," he explains.

Ema laughs: "And how we interacted didn't seem real? Iori-kun, there's no one in the world for me but you! I don't care if Fuuto could 'make me happier', you're the one I want! Besides, if I liked Fuuto, I wouldn't have ran after you just now." Iori blushes and laughs at his own irrational stupidity.

He hugs her close. "I love you, Ema-chan."

"I love you more, Iori-kun."

They kissed again as the sun set on Sunrise Residence.

Flashforward (Three years later)

Today was the big day. Ema sat, jittering, at the in front of the vanity as Louis styled her hair into beautiful cascading curls.

"I don't think I can do this!," Ema squirms, feeling restless.

"Don't be silly, Chi-chan! Of course you are, you've been waiting for this day of years, haven't you?," Louis says, "You'll be just fine."

Louis kisses her on the cheek, making her feel more at ease. He shoves the comb, to which the veil was attached to, into her locks.

"You're all done," Louis smiles.

Ema stands up and looks at herself in the full length mirror: she was wearing a floor length, fitted, white dress, with long lace sleeves, her veil touched the ground, and on her face, she wore the most natural of makeup. She spun around, in awe of how she looked in that moment.

"Onee-chan looks like a fairytale princess!," Wataru gushes.

Ema giggles: "Thank you, Wataru!" She places a quick peck on the boy's cheek.

Suddenly, a knock is heard at the door. The trio turn their attention to the entrance, the door knob turns and in steps Rintarou, dressed in an all black suit. He smiles softly at his daughter, tears streaming down his face.

"Papa!," Ema says, hugging her crying father.

"My little girl is growing up so fast!," Rintarou says. Ema begins to tear up and little bit too, she wipes the tears from her father's cheeks.

"Are you ready to go?," Ema asks. Rintarou nods.

The four of them head out to the limo, which was waiting for them right outside.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD, WHERE ARE MY SHOES?," Tsubaki shouts, practically ripping the hair out of his head.

The brothers were freaking out, the wedding was about to begin in half an hour and Tsubaki's shoes were no where to be found. The brothers scramble around the room, desperately looking for the shoes.

"ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID, WHO LOSES A PAIR OF SHOES?," Fuuto scolds.

"Are you sure you didn't leave them at the cleaner's?," Yuusuke asks anxiously.

"I'm positive!," Tsubaki assures.

"WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY?," Natsume panics.

Azusa tried to keep the peace: "Okay, everybody, stay calm! The more we panic-"

"GOD SHUT UP, A-CHAN AND HELP US LOOK FOR THE DAMN SHOES!," Kaname shouts.

As the brothers did laps around the room looking for the shoes, a knock is head at the door. The brothers freeze.

"Come in!," Masaomi calls out.

The groom steps in, fully dressed, with a pair of shoes in his hands. "Tsubaki, you left your shoes in the car," Iori says, handing the white haired boy his shoes.

Tsubaki blushes in embarrassment, feeling his brothers starring daggers into the back of his head.

"YOU IDIOT!," Ukyo shouts, lunging at the boy.

Masaomi grabs him: "Hey relax! At least we found them now, didn't we?"

The brothers growl at Tsubaki for being so forgetful.

Subaru checks his watch, his eyes widen: "Shit! The wedding begins in fifteen minutes!" The boys rush to get ready.

As they entered the church (completely clueless of the chaos that went down earlier), Ema felt her heart beating out of her chest, he legs felt weak, as though she could collapse at any second. She had never felt this nervous before.

In one hand, she held her father's arm, in the other, she held a bouquet of irises.

Arriving at the door to the altar, she squeezes her father's arm, he chuckles: "You'll be fine, sweetheart." Rintarou kisses her temple, calming her down.

He knocks once and the doors open, music begins to play. Ema gracefully walks down the isle, taking in the guests' gawking expressions and tearful faces. Miwa was holding up her camera, dramatically waving at her, smiling brighter than ever. They were astonished at how beautiful she looked, but no one was as blown away as Iori himself. His jaw drops to the floor, in awe at how beautiful his wife-to-be looked. He had never felt happier in his life. Iori looked handsome too, dressed in an black tuxedo.

Standing besides him, Yuusuke, Tsubaki and Subaru sobbed loudly, Fuuto yawned, earning a smack in the back of the head from Ukyo, Wataru jumped in excitement, Natsume showed no emotion, Azusa smiled sadly, Masaomi cried softly and Louis, Hikaru and Kaname genuinely smiled, happy for the couple. Iori held his hand out, as Ema stepped onto the platform. Ema faces her husband-to-be, with stars in her eyes. He smiles at her softly.

They join their hands and the ceremony begins begins: "Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today before friends, family, and above all else, God, to celebrate the holy matrimony of Hinata Ema and Asahina Iori. We thank the Lord for all the blessings that brought us here today and those that brought Hinata Ema and Asahina Iori together to make this day possible. And we are thankful for the blessings of another day with our loved ones and especially grateful for this day when we can be around friends and family – some of whom have traveled great distances to be here. Love and marriage are truly one of God's greatest gifts and accomplishments. Yes, the heavens and the Earth are pretty impressive, but the Lord has filled all of us with love and allows us to grow that love exponentially by sharing it with someone else. And so, by giving selflessly to another, we make ourselves stronger and our lives that much richer. It's truly one of the greatest miracles we've been given."

Ema began to tear up, Iori lovingly places his thumb on her cheek, gently wiping away her tears. Ema whispers: "You're crying too, Iori-kun."

Iori smiles softly: "I know."

The pastor continues: "Thank you, Lord, for bestowing upon us your blessings and for giving us, not just another day together, but this most very special day, where Hinata Ema and Asahina Iori will be joined in holy matrimony. I'd now like to read a section of Corinthians 13 that offers a beautiful reminder of what it means to love," the pastor clears his throat and flips the page of his Bible, "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends."

Iori softly squeezes Ema's hand, he glances over his shoulders, smirking, taking in his brothers' (ironically) envious glares.

The pastor faces Ema: "Hinata Ema, do you promise to love, honor, cherish and respect Asahina Iori above all others, as long as you both shall live?"

Ema nods: "I do."

Yuusuke inhales sharply, Subaru catches the poor boy, preventing him from fainting.

The pastor turns to Iori: "Asahina Iori, do you promise to love, honor, cherish and respect Hinata Ema above all others, as long as you both shall live?"

"I do," Iori says.

"Fuck!," Tsubaki hisses.

Natsume mumbles, passive aggressively: "What did you think he was going to say?"

The pastor glances over at Wataru: "May I have the rings please?" Wataru approaches the man and the pastor takes the two rings from the pillow, handing them to the couple. He says: "These rings represent love, pure and simple. The love God has for all creatures great and small and the love you, Hinata Ema and Asahina Iori have for one another. When you place that ring on your partner's finger, know that you are giving not just the gift of a ring, but also the gift of the love your creator has filled you with."

He turns to Ema, who has Iori's hand in hers: "Hinata Ema, please repeat after me: Asahina..."

Ema repeats after him: "Asahina..."

"Please accept this ring as a token of my true..."

" Please accept this ring as a token of my true..."

"Pure love for you..."

"Pure love for you..."

"With this I give you my heart and my soul..."

"With this I give you my heart and my soul..."

"They are now yours, forever and more."

"They are now yours, forever and more," Ema slips the ring onto Iori's finger.

The pastor turns to the groom: "Asahina Iori, please repeat after me: Hinata..."

Iori repeats after him: "Hina..."

"Please accept this ring as a token of my true..."

"Please accept this ring as a token of my true..."

"Pure love for you..."

"Pure love for you...," Iori's voice shakes as he tries his best to hold in his tears.

"With this I give you my heart and my soul..."

"With this I give you my heart and my soul..."

"They are now yours, forever and more."

"They are now yours, forever and more," Iori cries and he slides the ring onto his bride's slender finger. Ema blushes, shedding a few tears as well.

"That could've been me, that could've been me, that could've been me!," Subaru whispers in frustration. He starts to sob again, Kaname rubs his back soothingly.

The pastor says: "We thank God for bringing Hinata Ema and Asahina Iori together and for blessing them now and always. By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife!"

The pastor turns to Iori and smiles: "You may now kiss the bride." Iori dips Ema and crashes his lips against hers, the room goes wild.

As he pulls away, Iori whispers: "I love you."

Ema smiles: "And I love you more."

Iori chuckles before kissing her again.

A/N: I definitely did not write those vows, LOL!
