Back out in the hallway...
The door to Numbah 5's imagination disappeared before their very eyes, implying that she's walking up now. So that's one down, four more to go. Wally, Kuki, Virginia, and Bartie needs to be free from their own imaginations.
But before either of the two could enter another mind, they stopped for a second to talk about their next plan. It seems like it'll take a bit if the two were to go into all the minds, as who knows how long Numbah 5 has before the aliens take notice of her missing. So it seems like the best option now is to split up and free the rest separately. It seems like a bad idea, but it was the quicker route for them to go to make sure that in the real world, they can escape before they are caught.
"Looks like I'll free Numbah 4 then." Miles said, placing a hand in the door that has 'Wally' on it. "Who do you have?" Julia looks at the many doors, before stopping in front of Kuki's door.
"If you're taking Numbah 4, it looks like I got Numbah 3." Julia said, placing a hand on the door that says 'Kuki' on the front of it. "I don't think Wally is going to go anywhere is his girlfriend is still trapped inside her own thoughts. So I'm going to pick this one." Miles nods his head.
"Wise enough choice, Julia. Be careful in there though."
"It's Numbah 3. You think her imagination is probably going to be hostile?" Miles turns to face his sister, placing a hand on his hip.
"Well...considering that Numbah 5's imagination was almost a death trap, I feel it's only right that you should be careful as well." Miles sighed. "Keep in mind, as far as my knowledge can go, we're the only ones in our family left. I...don't want you hurt, okay?" Julia nods her head.
"Of course Miles." The sister pats him on the shoulder, nodding her head with confidence for him. "Be safe in there too, my brother."
"Of course."
The two then faced the doors they picked. Miles waited a few moments, hearing his sister entering Kuki's imagination. He crosses his fingers, before opening the door to Numbah 4's imagination. He steps inside, ready to free the usually tough member of Sector V.
With Miles...
The boy enters Numbah 4's imagination. Like how he went into Abigail's mind, there was nothing more but brightness when he went through the door. But then a couple seconds pass by and the brightness went away, letting him see where he was.
By the looks of the location itself, it appears that Numbah 4's imagination was inside some sort of jungle of some kind. Miles first started off next to a cave that was on a mountain behind him. But what really caught the boy's eye was a broken sign next to the cave that appeared to be some sort of warning to the people are out here.
Miles picks up the wooden boards that were on the ground, looking at what was written on them. It was said 'Numbah 4' on the caves, possibly meaning that Wally was actually here before. But the question remains for Miles, how far did that guy even go around a jungle like this anyway? He had to find him before whatever's out here is the one that hurts him, or he gets discovered by those aliens, since they now know that Miles and Julia are here.
The boy sets off deeper into the jungle to try to find Numbah 4 and get out of here. But a couple seconds walking through the trees, there came the sound of extremely loud bangs, and the ground shaking. Miles nearly lost his balance and fell to the ground, feeling the ground shaking below him.
The boy looks out to the distance, seeing what was making the entire ground shake. It was a volcano. It seems like it on the verge of erupting at any given moment if he doesn't hurry up to find Wally. He had to hurry around a place like this.
"Wally better not have gotten too far in this place..." Miles mutters as he started to run into the jungle. "...I just hope that he's near, and the 'Wake Up' door better be near as well." The sound of the volcano shaking was heard. "...Oh God...I just hope Julia's in a safe location..."
With Julia...
She was already in Numbah 3's imagination. It appeared to be some sort of place full of candy, which is kind of typical, considering this is Numbah 3's imagination of all places. But then again, Julia was half-expecting a whole bunch of Rainbow Monkeys to be all over her imagination instead of a lot of candy and sweets and stuff.
Looking around the entire place as she was trying to find Kuki, Julia was seeing a lot more life around here more than the previous imaginations that they were in before. From literately walking animals that were actually cookies, candy corn butterflies, even some sheep that looked like they had wool that was made out of cotton candy. All of this stuff almost made Julia kind of hungry for sweets like the stuff around her, that's for certain.
But she needed to stay focused on trying to find Kuki around here, even if almost everything in this entire field looks pretty delicious to her. While she was walking on the path made of peppermint candy, the girl thought that she was just looking at only animals. No sort of people that would actually be residents around here. But that was until a voice came out of nowhere, speaking to her.
"Are you lost, stranger?" A high-pitched voice said.
Julia jumped at the sound of that voice, before turning around, wondering who was here right now. She looks around for a couple seconds, before looking down to the ground. She saw a bunny rabbit that looked like it was made out of candy itself.
"What the hell?" Julia asked. "Am I really seeing this in front of my very eyes right now?"
"You are. I am a talking bunny rabbit made out of candy." The bunny said.
Julia blinked a couple times, feeling extremely dumbfounded by this. She knew this was Numbah 3 hiding somewhere in this imagination, but this is ridiculous. She held the side of her head, before looking back down at the rabbit again.
"Uh...okay, since I don't see anyone else around here..." Julia mutters, before looking down at the rabbit, getting to the point of why she is even here in the first place. "...Look, I'm...trying to search around for this girl...you know, black hair, green shirt...did you see her around this place?" The rabbit taps his chin, before hopping onto Julia's shoulder.
"Hmm...you know, now that you've mentioned it..." The rabbit started off saying, before hopping onto her head. "...No idea."
"I don't think she's easy to miss...this is her imagination, right?"
"Yes."
"So you know where she is?"
"Of course I do."
"I thought you didn't know where she was...why?" The rabbit hops off of her head, before landing onto his feet. "If you said that you have no idea where the girl I'm referring to went...why did you say you now know where she is? Are you lying?"
"I..." The rabbit stopped, before he realized what was happening right now. "...Oh my gosh! I said too much! I said too much!"
The rabbit started to hop away to a giant castle that was made out of candy far ahead of the girl, talking to him. Julia looked up at the castle that was a couple miles away from her, before she gave the place a smirk. She knew that confusing the rabbit would be able to get him to give away Kuki's location in this place. Then again, considering that this castle is the only building out here so far, it seems like it would've been the only option. Unless there's a village nearby, or maybe another cottage or two.
"Wow...that place is sickening sweet..." Julia mutters to herself, before walking towards the castle. "...I guess that's where Numbah 3 is hiding out in. Guess it's time to go in there and finally get her to get out of this imagination."
