"What are we waiting for? Let's get out there and kick some bastard's ass and throw them off this ring!" Katsuki Bakugo roared, struggling to stay put.
"Will you keep it down?!" Momo Yaoyorozu ordered him. "The plan was to stay together and wait for the other enemies to fight each other."
Staying together, the Universe 12 team were glued to each other, waiting for the enemy numbers to drop. To win this tournament, they relied on their teamwork, while Shoto and Tokoyami scouted to gauge the powers of the other fighters.
Seeing various explosions around them, Midoriya remained in a fighting stance. Still, he felt his arms shake. Despite having spent years fighting this feeling, Deku was still afraid. Saving his world was a huge pressure for him. His mother, his classmates, Eri, All Might, Uraraka, Tsu, even the villains... he had to save them all, and the other planets in Universe Twelve were a part of this as well. But would he really be able to defeat his opponents and get used to the idea of wiping out the life of other universes, for the sake of saving his own? A Pro Hero's job was to save as many lives as possible, but he knew, along with many others, not everyone could be saved, and it pained him to think that.
"Midoriya, are you alright?" Iida questioned him, shaking him out of his inner thoughts, and this time, he wasn't mumbling out loud.
"Y... yeah, don't worry," the ninth holder of One For All said, trying to hide his fear.
"Hey, no worries bro," cried Kirishima, raising his thumb. "We'll win this tournament! That's a promise."
"Yeah, but..." Midoriya was still skeptical of that, seeing the level of the other competitors were leagues above them, seeing Jiren just sitting there, meditating, he assumed he was probably the strongest warrior in the tournament, and didn't think the other warriors were worth his time. He didn't think even All Might in his prime could damage him in the slightest. "I don't see how we can beat some of them, and if we just stand around doing nothing, the other universes could get the chance to catch us off guard and eliminate us."
"Well, when you put it like that-" At that moment, a knee hit Kirishima's face and knocked him to the ground, with his nose crushed.
"What the?!" the other U.A. students were astonished, immediately jumping to disperse a little.
Seeing Kirishima stay on the ground, Boros seemed to be disappointed.
"Don't tell me this is all the Twelfth Universe has to offer, he was so distracted that he couldn't even feel my presence! And he his endurance is simply embarrassing."
But immediately Iida and Bakugo were in front of him, ready to attack.
"DIE, YA BASTARD!" Bakugo yelled, not actually trying to kill him, since it was prohibited. First, using her power, Iida managed to kick the alien's neck, then Bakugo prepared to detonate his fists. Seeing him do it, Boros crossed his arms in front of his face to protect him. Immediately, Bakugo's fist exploded. Then brushing off the smoke with a flick of his arm, Boros slapped Iida's abdomen, managing to make him spit out his saliva. Then he grabbed Bakugo by his neck.
"Looks like you're going to be my first elimination. Definitely a blow to your pride," Boros commented. Not having said his last word, Bakugo grabbed the alien's arm before swinging his foot to strike his chin, creating another explosion. Feeling his head pull back, Boros let go of Bakugo. Then Boros felt roots wrap around his legs, preventing him from fleeing.
"What is this?!"
In front of him, Ibara was praying, while his vines tied Boros up.
"VIA DOLORESA!" Using her Super Move, Ibara managed to trap Boros with her vines, which were all around him ending on four of the many rocks. This would be sure to ensnare anything that came in contact with them.
"I question just exactly you're trying to attempt here. Is it to trap me in this box of vines?" Boros questioned, before reaching out to her.
Creating a ki blast, he directed his attack towards Ibara who remained motionless. Exploding the attack shook the area, proving Boros' power. Yet the vines were still twisting.
And for good reason, instead of Ibara, Kirishima had interposed and received the attack. Having hardened his skin, he had managed to withstand the attack without feeling the slightest pain.
"How can you still stand up? I thought I rid of you already!"
Suddenly, finding himself in front of the alien, Kendo let her fist grow to reach the size of a giant's hand and gave the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves a powerful punch, which struck his whole body. The power of the blow was so great that the roots gave way and Boros was thrown back. However, positioning himself behind him, Bakugo roared before hitting his back with his fist.
Moaning in pain, Boros was hurled into the air. Closing his eyes for a moment, he opened them the instant a figure found itself in front of his face.
How did he get this close to me in such a short span of time?! he mentally exclaimed, seeing Izuku Midoriya in front of him with his fist held out, with green lighting cackling around him.
"DETROIT SMASH!"
Hit right in the jaw, Boros' body descended downwards at full speed, before hitting the ground.
Seeing this, Giin watched the fight while crossing his arms while maintaining a serious face.
"It looks like they are in control of this battle! I sincerely hope it continues like this for the rest of the tournament."
"I see no reason to worry, Lord Giin. With their numbers as well as their strategy, their teamwork could be the key to our victory," Agu agreed.
For his part, landing on the ground, Midoriya looked at Boros' body which was lying on the ground.
"We got him!" Midoriya called to his classmates.
"Alright, Ibara! Throw him off the ring before he regains consciousness!" Momo asked the Class 1-B student. Immediately, Ibara created new vines to grab the alien and throw him into the void. However, before he grabbed hold of him, Boros got up in an instant and performed various backflips. Then standing again, he showed his smiling face to everyone, while he didn't have the slightest scratch.
"I told you we have nothing to worry about, Kai!" Quitela remarked to Kuru. "Boros can handle a bunch of brats, no problem!"
"It seems I was worrying over nothing. I apologize for ever so doubting you," Kuru apologized.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. You can thank me by zipping your mouth, and enjoy the show!" The angel, Cognac, did not lose his smile as he continued to view the fight between Boros and the students of U.A. High.
"Not bad, young ones! Nevertheless, I should warn you now, I was toying with you all! All I did was analyze your powers and heat myself up! Nothing serious, if I do imply so myself."
Then, letting his muscles swell slightly, he eventually lets himself rush towards the group of young heroes and heroines.
"Now to rid this ring of your presence!"
Preparing to stop him, the small group felt a presence behind them. Jumping to the side in time, they dodged a large sword, the holder being a 29-foot tall woman to their major shock, who attempted to hit them with her sword, Napoleon. Also surprised by her arrival, Boros could not help but get in the way and swing his fist at the huge woman, hitting her directly in the face.
"I'm not trying to save you brats, I'll deal with you all later. It looks like I have a bigger target!" Boros claimed the teenagers, who understood the message, but some were unpleased, with Bakugo being one of them.
That... that stupid bitch got in the way of the damn fight! He thought in fury, but quickly calmed himself down.
Groaning in pain, Big Mom took a step back. Then, opening her eyes to show only anger, she shook her sword at Boros.
"Oh, I'm gonna have fun playing with you!"
Shaking the ground every time his sword struck the ground, Big Mom chased Boros who dodged each of his attacks, before bombarding her with a multitude of energy blasts. Finding herself in pain, Big Mom felt her body slide back.
"I'm not pleased with the fact you interfered in my fight, which I was enjoying. I'll finish this quickly!"
"Try to do so if you can, one-eyed freak! Prometheus! Zeus!"
Immediately, sensing two presences around him, Boros saw a gray cloud and a sun staring at him.
In response, the two beings attacked him with fire and lightning. Suddenly disappearing, Boros found himself next to Prometheus and gave the sun a powerful kick. Not understanding what was happening, the sun was knocked out and his body hit Zeus. Having got rid of them, Boros then walked over to Big Mom. Seeing him come Big Mom closed her fist and covered him with Haki. Then, their battle became more heated up, with the both of them not daring to hold back as the fists of the two opponents hit each other.
Feeling like a shockwave touched his face, Midoriya watched the fight from a little further away, rather glad Boros had forgotten them.
"All of them are amazing."
"We are just as much as they are," Shinso assured, watching what was going on with his hands in his pockets.
Turning around, the boy then saw Cocotte and Starjun start to fight behind them. Immediately he began to think of a plan.
