Hiya I'm back with another chapter! I have to say I am at a bit of a lack of ideas for the next chapter so any thoughts would be appreciated. I wanna give a huge thanks to Wrighting'GIRL3000 my beta who is just fantastic. I also wanna thank you all for reading my story.

"I have greater plans for you Natalia. I thought you would of realised by now I never fail, If I had wanted you dead you would be dead but alas you are not. I thought you were smarter than that Маленький (little one)."

They were surrounded, the footsteps of the rest of the mercenaries could be heard clanging up the metal steps, it would only be few moments before they arrived.

Tony- "Capsicle I hope you have a plan."

Steve nodded his head whilst his eyes remains locked on Alexei.

Steve- "Remeber Thailand?"

Natasha- "Oh shit!"

Tony flew up suddenly surprising the dozens of mercenaries on the ground. His lasers shooting at them wildly, with Alexei distracted Steve threw his shield so it took at least five men down before returning to the magnetic strap on his arm. Clint took the soldiers coming up the stairs on by one. He twisted one man's arm thus breaking it before using his gun to effectively crush his windpipe. He finally pulled out an arrow with a bright red device which buried itself into the wall on the stairwell. The man below just dodged it swiftly and smirked upwards at Clint. "You missed." "I never miss," Clint replied as the device beeped and then exploded taking out the whole stairs.

Hawkeye ran towards Steve and took Natasha from his arm enabling him to fight. Once Steve spotted Alexei he ran towards him and punched his face breaking his nose. As Alexei stumbled back he lifted his knee kicking Steve in the groin. Steve dodged his next oncoming attack and hit his chest. They spent a couple of minutes dodging and weaving each other getting a few hits but nothing to cause any serious injury. Until Steve heard a yelp and cry behind him. As he turned for a second Alexei ran towards the helicopter. Behind him was Natasha with a knife pressed against her throat and she was too weak to fight back. As she struggled against her attackers arms Tony got distracted by the scene and was hit down by a bomb stopping his suit from functioning. The blast threw him right into Clint causing them to collapse on the floor in a heap.

"Move an inch and I slit her fucking throat." The man snarled.

"Steve, no don't." Natasha choked out.

Steve- "I'm sorry Nat but I can't lose you, not again"

He lifted his arms in surrender and placed his shield on the ground.

"Good now kneel on the ground." Steve nodded but as he was about to kneel he saw Clint reach for a knife. Tony looked up at him signalling him to create a distraction.

Steve- "You know it's very impressive you singlehandedly took down four avengers you should be proud of yourself." He started to wave his arms about startling the man with his sudden action.

Natasha gave him puzzled expression "Steve what ar-"

Before she could finish her sentence Clint threw the knife so it hit the mercenary in his neck causing blood to gush out; killing him instantly. As his hands dropped the gun he was holding fell to ground and a shot rang out.

"Fuck!" Tony screamed as he was shot in the shoulder. He glared at Clint, "I swear I will kill you Katniss!" Clint just held his hands in surrender and backed off slowly.

Natasha watched the dead man collapse to the ground she used this opportunity to stumble forwards towards Steve who caught her and held her to his chest. Natasha looked up and smiled, "Hey," she whispered. "Hey," he replied as he kept her in place under his chin. Steve still couldn't believe how perfectly they fit together.

They all turned as they heard the helicopter lift off and fly away with Alexei on board grinning at them.

Clint sighed "great he got away, what now?"

Steve- "Tony is there any way to track the helicopter?"

Tony- "Afraid not Cap, I made them untraceable in case an emergency ever occurred."

Just as Steve was about to reply a small drone appeared on top of the rubble.

Clint- "is that a bomb?"

Tony- "I am not sure."

Steve took a step back holding Natasha tight so if it was to explode he could quickly shield her.

"Steve I can't breathe your holding me too tight," Natasha gasped.

Steve- "Oh sorry Nat."

Natasha- "Its okay baby."

Steve's smirked "baby?" Tony and Clint looked at each other and raised an eyebrow.

Natasha blushed at her mistake. Tony butted in "Guys this really isn't the time to be making kissy heart eyes at each other."

Clint laughed and Steve blushed whilst Natasha just stood their grinning.

The drone landed on the ground and the image of Alexei appeared above as a hologram.

" I will be back Маленький (little one) and when I do return I will show you the truth. You used to have such ambition and now look at you. You are weak, they have made you weak. Don't you remember Natalia? Love is for children." Natasha growled in response as Alexei laughed hysterically.

Natasha- "The truth? The truth is Alexei is your a monster from my past, a demon I should have killed years ago but don't worry I will find you and when I do I will put a bullet right between your eyes."

Alexei snarled, " I have no doubt you that will find me Natalia but kill me? I'm not sure you have it in you, bitch"

Steve nearly punched the hologram in his anger except for the fact he had Natasha clutching his arm and saying "Steve don't."

Tony-" Jarvis can you track the signal?"

Jarvis-" I'm sorry sir but I don't have enough pow-" Tony suit suddenly shut down.

"Great, just great," he sighed as the hologram slowly self destructed right in front if them.
