Tris POV As I stir awake and my eyes flutter open, I hear some generic radio song playing softly and my head bounces slightly on a hard surface. I'm in a car, one I've never been in before. I feel my heart seize in panic, but my eyes land on Christina in the passenger's seat before I start jumping to conclusions. I look over and I see the back of a man's head in the driver's seat. I look in the rearview mirror and see Andrew. I quickly close my eyes again and pretend I'm asleep for the rest of the ride.

"Beatrice." I feel someone lightly tap my shoulder. I blink a few times. When did I fall back asleep? I look up and see Andrew standing over me. I sit up slowly, nauseous and in a post-sleep haze.
"Where are we" I croak out. I rub my temples, closing my eyes again.
"We're at your house, Tris." Christina's voice fills me with relief. I sit up and look behind me to see her standing behind Andrew, my bags in her hands. I give her a soft smile.
"Are you feeling okay, Beatrice?" I look up at Andrew. At this angle, the sun is right behind him and all I see is a silhouette of him. I see the same faceless man I've thought about for years. "I'm fine" I mumble. I shuffle to get out of the car and he moves quickly out of the way. Christina holds out her hand and I take it. We start walking towards the house and Andrew begins to follow. I turn around quickly, shaking my head.
"My mom is home" I say softly, pointing at the car in the driveway. His eyes widen and he takes a few steps back, nodding in understanding. I hand Christina the key so she can go inside while I talk to him. "Thank you for bringing me" I say curtly. He nods.
"Christina called me. She said you were feeling really sick. What happened?" I remember being curled up against the wall, Four crouched down in front of me. My chest tightens at the thought of him. "I just ate something bad, I think." Andrew hums in understanding. I shuffle awkwardly towards him and outstretch my hand. He stares at it for a few seconds before gently taking it. We shake hands and then let go.
"I should go inside…" Andrew looks away, clenching his jaw, and nods slowly. He gets into his car and pulls out of the driveway while I make my way into the house. Christina is looking through the glass, but opens the door for me.
"I thought that was your car?" "It is" I state. Christina nods, understanding that I didn't want him inside of the house. We sit on the couch in silence.

"Beatrice" my mother says surprised. She's carrying grocery bags and her work bag. I jump up from the couch to help her. We walk to the kitchen and her eyebrows are furrowed in confusion.
"What are you doing here? How are you here?" They fall into the rhythm of putting away the groceries.
"Dad brought me" I say quietly. She stops moving and I stare at her back. My hands grip the bag of chips.
"Did he come in here" she asks shakily. "No! I didn't let him. I told him you were home…" She lets out a sigh, turns and walks towards me, and envelopes me in a hug. I don't move, unsure of why she's hugging me.
"Mom?" I feel wetness on my neck and realize she's crying. I hold her tightly now. She sobs quietly into the crook of my neck.

(A/N) A bit of a shorter chapter today. I'm trying to wrap this up quickly, so I'm sorry if the story seems a bit rushed. It shouldn't be too many chapters left, maybe three (I'm estimating because I'm making the plot up as I go lol). Feel free to PM me or leave a review!
