Chaos sighs: Yeah, I had just started etidting this chapter, and I accidentally closed the window on my Kindle, luckily we only lost the frst A/N.

Chaos: Right, now then, I know I'm five days after the last update, which was kind long, and the second was really short, but this is special because I am uploading two, that's roght, two, count 'em, TWO chapters today. Well, I'd tell ya more, but where's the fun in that? Red, if you'd please?

Chapter 18: Legacy Of The Garden

After getting the message from Chip and Dale, everyone quickly looked over to see Takato had a storm of emotions flowing over his face. Ranging from anger, to fear, to worry, and concern, all those and more, it was like Takato didn't know WHAT too feel.

But just when it seemed that Takato was going to explode, Jeri calmly placed a gentle hand on the young princes shoulder, causing him to quickly look up at her, then she said, "Takato. Calm down, and think about this for a second. If you charge in while in full blown panic mode, you'll make mistakes, and that could prove to be fatal. We'll head down there, but you have to be reasonable about this first, okay?"

Takato sighed deeply, then he nodded, and said, "Yeah, I guess you're right, thanks, Jeri."

Jeri simply smiled and, while closing her eyes and tilting her head, she said, "Hey, what are friends for, right?" The question was obviously rhetorical, and everyone knew it, but Takato was grateful to have Jeri remind him to be calm.

Takato nodded, and while he didn't say anything, he did smile at Jeri gratefully. Even though he didn't have a crush on the young girl anymore, he still valued her as a close friend, and it was nice to have her as one.

But then, Takato shook his head, then got a serious look on his face as he piloted the ship for Hollow Bastion. Once they were close enough, they teleported back to where they first entered on their first return trip.

Once they were there, they saw Soldiers running up to them, shocking then, then they vanished. Then Sora said, "Do you think…"

Takato tightly gripped his fists and said, "Great. Looks like there's more Heartless now."

Then everyone saw Dusks floating passed them, and Rika said, "Don't look now, but it seems like Heartless aren't the only things we have to worry about."

Donald sighed in disappointment, then Sora said, "Let's go check in with everyone."

Takato nodded, then he said, "Agreed. Time for a status update!"

That was when everyone heard a loud high pitched voice call out, "HEY! TAKATO! HEY! JERI! EVERYONE! UP HERE!"

Everyone looked up, and saw Calamon flying towards them, he was just like how they saw him last year, but he had on a silver collar around his neck.

Everyone quickly noticed that Calamon looked worried, and that should have been a big red flag, Calamon never looks worried, he always has a big smile on his face, then he flew down, and started circling Takato, saying, "Takato! Takato! It's great that you're back!"

Takato lightly chuckled at the previous host of the catalyst, no matter how angry you are, seeing Calamon could always bring a smile to your face. Takato then said, "Hey, Calamon. Sorry we missed you on our last visit. How've you been? Have you been keeping yourself busy by playing games with Donalds nephews?" Takato asked with a light smile on his face.

But instead of being playful, like everyone else knew him as, Calamon shook his head, then in a serious voice he said, "No time for games, Takato. You and the others are needed back at Merlin's! Quick!"

And just like that, Calamon flew off towards Merlin's house, leaving our heroes shocked at how serious the little creampuff was.

Takato shook his head, then he said, "Okay, now I'm worried. If Calamon, CALAMON of all Digimon is serious, and is saying that there's no time fore games, then you KNOW something is seriously wrong. Let's go!"

Everyone headed for Merlins house, but they then passed by a familiar man with blond hair, a black trench coat, with the right arm completely sleeveless, and wearing black gloves, was leaning up against a wall was, "Oh, Cloud!" Sora exclaimed in shock.

Said wielder of the Buster Sword looked up and saw our heroes, then he said, "Kids. Jeri. Nice to see you returned. Calamon's back at Merlin's." Said our resident 'SOILDER' pointing towards the direction where the Creampuff went.

Jeri nodded, then she said, "Yeah, we just saw him. We're heading there now, as a matter of fact."

Takato then looked at his one time enemy and asked, "What are you doing, Cloud?"

But instead of getting a straight answer, Cloud cryptically said, "I'll get him. This time we settle it. Me and the one who embodies all the darkness in me."

Takato became curious at that remark, then he asked, "And who would that be?"

Then Donald looked at Cloud with a very, analytical glance, and said, "Huh. I thought you looked kinda different, Cloud."

Then Cloud looked down and closed his eyes and softly said, "If I do, it's his fault."

Then Sora, not really understanding any of this, asked, "Whose?"

"Sephiroth." Cloud said plainly. "Tell me if you see him."

Sora nodded, then he said, "Okay. What's he look like?"

"Silver hair. Carries a long sword." Replied our favorite hero.

But Takato sighed, then he said, "Cloud. You just described a lot of people. Any more descriptions we should know about? You know, like if he has a scar on his face, or missing an arm, you know, something descriptive like that?"

But Cloud remained silent, but then he said something, "He has a large black wing expanding from his right shoulder."

Upon hearing that, Takato nodded silently, then Sora said, "Sure. Well, be seeing you, Cloud."

Then Cloud looked up and said, "Be careful. Especially you, Takato. You may be the prince, but that doesn't make you untouchable. He messes with your head, makes you think darkness is the only way." The warning did raise a few flags for our heroes, but they were prepared, or believed that they were prepared for anything.

That was when Aerith's voice came from behind the group, "Is something wrong?"

Everyone turned to see our favorite female Final Fantasy Character. (A/N Even though I haven't Played FF VII, or even OWN the remake, yet, I'm just doing this for you fans! I know that people play these games, not just for the story, as confusing as it may be, but for the characters, the Final Fantasy characters, at that ;))

Then Sora, being confused, and hopelessly lost, said, "Uh…"

But Aerith just walked passed our heroes and up to Cloud, who said, "It's nothing." Then Aerith leaned in with a glance, then Cloud said, "I don't want you involved."

Then Aerith thought about it, then she said, "You mean, you don't want there when you go away again?"

Cloud then looked at Aerith with a calm expression, then he said, "I just-Listen, even if I go far away, I'll come back."

Aerith then looked at Cloud hopefully and asked, "Do you mean it?"

Cloud looked up towards the old worn down castle, then he weakly said, "Yeah…"

To which Aerith placed her hands on her hips and sternly said, "See? You don't look so sure." But she gave Cloud a small nod, then she said, "Well, okay, I understand. Go-get things settled."

Cloud looked at Aerith in slight surprise, then he asked, "Huh?"

Aerith smiled and said, "No matter how far away you are…once you find your light…I'm sure it will lead you back here again. Right?"

Cloud nodded and said, "I suppose."

Aerith smiled and she said, "So I'll stay here-and I'll cheer for you-Okay, Cloud?"

Cloud nodded and said, "Okay." Then he walked off towards the rest of town, but you could faintly spot a warm smile appearing on Clouds face as he left.

Then Aerith put her fist over her heart and softly said, "Wonder if he'll be okay."

Sora smiled at one of his friends and said, "He'll be fine. Don't worry"

Takato nodded and said, "Yeah, trust us. He's tough, whatever it is he has to face, I'm sure he can handle it."

Jeri nodded and she said, "Yeah, besides, I'm sure there's some light in him somewhere."

This caused Aerith to smile, then she said, "You're right."

Then Takato looked over to his friends and said, "C'mon, let's head over to Merlin's!"

Everyone nodded, then they rushed over to Merlin's place, there they fought a new kind of Heartless, carrying a large, purple spell book, with the Heartless sigil on the cover, this was called 'Bookmaster' and it was powerful and used powerful magic, but it was also immune to all types of magic.

But our heroes were able to make mince meat out of it, and any other Heartless they encountered, then they ended up inside Merlin's place.

There they saw Yuffie looking over the towns computers with Cid working on it as always, and Calamon sitting on the chalkboard, looking very worried right now.

Calamon looked up and loudly said, "Guys! You made it!"

Cid turned around and said, "Hey, fellas-you're just in time. Got some good news for ya, so get yerselves over to Leon's"

Then Takato, always wanting to know how his home is doing, asked, "What kind of news?"

Yuffie looked over at Takato and in a very serious, and kind of out of character, said, "Takato, we found the computer that your father was using!"

This caused Takato's eyes to widen, then he his breath hitched for just a moment as he asked, "You, you found dads study?" You could see that Takato had tears in his eyes, then as he rubbed the tears from his eyes, he smiled softly and, in a voice filled with hope, he said, "Maybe, just maybe, I can use it to find out where he is."

Then Donald said, "Oh boy! You must be really excited, Takato!"

Takato smiled lightly, reminiscing about his past, then he said, "Yeah, I am."

Then Cid rubbed his nose and said, "Yep. Should be able to get all kinds of info on the Heartless and the Organization, as well."

Then Sora looked at Cid and Yuffie, then at his friends and said, "And maybe something on the dark realm, too? It looks like that's where Riku and Kairi are."

"And the King!" Replied Donald with cheerful voice, and a stomp of his feet.

Then Cid rubbed his nose and said, "Go see for yerselves!"

Yuffie smiled and said, "Yeah, it can't hurt to try! And Takato, you just might be able to get access to the computer."

Then Sora looked at the great ninja master in confusion, and asked, "What do you mean?"

Cid waved his hand and said, "Nothin'. Just get to the computer room through the castle postern. You know the way, Takato? If not, I'm sure you could ask Calamon here for some help."

Takato smiled and said, "While I'm confident that I could find it on my own, I think I'll have Calamon join us. It's been a while since he's been part of our little group." Calamon smiled brightly, then Takato asked, "What'd you say, Calamon? Up for another adventure?"

Calamon smiled brightly and said, "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Lets go!" Then he flew up and started to circle Takato while still cheering.

Everyone smiled at Calamon's cheerfulness, then Cid said, "Great! Just watch your step!"

Takato smiled, then he said, "Relax." With a smile and a easy going wave, but then he got serious and said, "Relax is what I would say, but considering the circumstances, we'll be careful. See ya. C'mon everyone, let's move out!"

But before they left, Cid then said, "Oh, and before I forget, Jeri."

Said swordswomen, looked over to the Gummi Ship builder, and asked, "Yes, Cid? What's up?"

Cid then grabbed a white D-Ark with yellow lines and buttons, then he handed it to the young girl, and said, "Here, take this wit' ya, ya might find it te be useful again soon."

Jeri's eyes widened in shock, and she looked towards Cid and asked, "You, you mean that…?" Cid simply gave her a silent nod, then Jeri nodded.

After that, everyone ran out to the Borough, and was quickly attacked by two Bookmasters and four Soldiers, but they didn't stand a chance against our heroes.

Sora was using the Oathkeeper Keyblade, the very same Keyblade that held Kairi's good luck charm for the token, with a smooth handle, angle wings for handguards, two diamonds expanding out of the handguard, with a heart in the center of it, as well as on the edge of it, with the kanji for 'hikairi' or light for the "teeth." After a while, our heroes made it to the Bailey.

But while they were walking through, a voice came from behind our heroes, and asked, "Excuse me, are you with the Restoration Committee?"

Everyone turned, and at first they saw nothing, but then three winged fairies flew up, one had light brown hair held back by a blue headband, green eyes, orange scarf-like wings, a yellow dress with blue suspenders, that cut off at her midsection, a dark orange skirt, long white socks, and large white and blue shoes, and she had a cheerful smile on her face.

The second girl had dark brown hair, a blue left eye, and a green right eye, and an outfit that reminded Takato of Kairi's outfit from last year, with her having a dress skirt, and blue combat boots, but had a very long ponytail.

The last girl had red eyes, silverish grey hair, and a black and red outfit, with small bat like wings, plus, she kinda looked like a gothic version of Rika, and that was kind weird. The fact that the girls were flying, didn't even phase the kids.

Then the girl with two different colored eyes asked, "What's Leon's gang up to?"

To which Sora said, "They got stuff to do over by the castle poster."

Then the fairies, well two of the fairies cheered, and the one with light orange hair threw her fist into the air and said, "Scoop!"

Then Takato folded his arms and asked, "Why do you ask?"

Then the girl in black simply, and in an emotionless voice, said, "Let's report."

"Um, who are you going to report this too, exactly?" Calamon asked, looking very interested in this conversation.

Then the middle girl turned and said, "Why, our leader, of course!"

Rika scoffed and said, "Well, whose your leader, if you don't mind us asking?"

Then the orange hair girl nodded and said, "You know, Malefi-" But that was when the fairy in black flew over and covered the orange haired girl's mouth.

To which the girl in black said, "Don't mind her. I assure you, we come in peace." But this just made everyone suspicious of them.

Then Terriermon loudly laughed and said, "Yeah, right! That's what they all say! One minute, you come in peace, and the next, they stab you in the back when you're not looking!"

Then Rika sarcastically said, "You know, if we didn't know better, we'd say that you were working for a certain evil witch? That wouldn't be true, would it?" The suspicious glare that Rika sent the fairies was proof enough that she was already on to them.

Then the girl in pink and blue looked at the fairy in red and black, and asked, "You're kidding?"

Then the girl in black asked, "Problem?" To which the girl didn't answer, then the one in black said, "Okay, fine. You do the talking." And just like that, she vanished in a flash of light.

Then the fairy in pink bowed and said, "So sorry about this!" And like that, she was gone as well.

Then the one in orange vanished in my favorite way, smiling innocently, while pointing her finger to her head, then vanishing in light, then, all three fairies were gone.

Everyone looked at each other in confusion, then Takato sighed and said, "Just another day in the kingdom. Lovely." Takato then said, "Well, c'mon. Let's head out!"

Calamon nodded then he said, "Yeah! This way everyone! Follow me!" Then Calamon flew over to the right and through a doorway made from pipes.

Takato smiled, then he said, "Yeah, time to find out if I can finally find my father."

'And I can hopefully reunite with Leomon.' Jeri thought as she looked down at her D-Ark. 'No, I KNOW I'll reunite with Leomon. I just have to believe.' Then they ran through a large mountain pass, getting closer and closer to the old castle that was once Takato's home, then, they reached the Restoration Site.

Seeing how bad the place was up close, really made Takato feel hopeful, "So much work has been put into restoring this place into it's original glory, I swear, once everything is taken care of, I will do everything in my power, to see this place become the town it once was, so I swear, not just as this kingdom's prince, not just as a Tamer, but on the Hazard as well!"

Everyone saw the look in Takato's eyes as he said that, and they knew, that he will do what he says he's gonna do. Then they proceeded to head forward, fighting more and more Heartless as they do so.

Once they reached the ruins of the old castle, Sora looked around and called out, "Leon!"

"Where are you!?" Takato called out, looking for the wielder of the Gunblade.

Then a female voice called out, "Over here!"

Everyone looked over and saw Aerith waving at them, with Calamon now sitting on her shoulder. Aerith then walked up to the group, then once everyone was near Aerith, Takato then asked, with hope filling his voice, "You guys really found dad's computer?" You can tell by the way Takato talked that, he was really hoping to see his dad's computer, and quite possibly, find his father.

Aerith nodded and said, "Uh-hu. The King is very interested in it."

Then Donald quacked in a happy surprise and he asked, "The King?"

Aerith nodded and said, "He's with Leon."

Then Donald stomped his feet in excitement and said, "We get to see the King!"

"Hooray!" Cheered Goofy.

Takato smiled, "I'm not surprised, he and dad were close, back when I was younger. So, it's no surprise that he's here. He's probably trying to find dad too."

Then Sora turned to Aerith and asked, "Er…Is Riku with them?"

Aerith sadly shook her head, then Sora nodded in thanks, then he said, "Well, at least I can ask the King about him. And that computer might be able to tell us something."

Takato chuckled, then he said, "Listen, Sora, I want to find Riku as well, but I really doubt that dad, or should I say, dad's computer would be able to tell us anything. Chances are, we won't be finding that out there." Then Sora looked depressed, but Takato smiled, and he said, "But, it doesn't hurt to try."

Aerith smiled and she said, "Good idea!" Then Aerith turned and said, "They're right through there."

Everyone looked and saw a doorway near the lower level of the castle. Everyone nodded, then they headed inside. The moment they walked into the castle, they felt as if they were being followed, they looked around, but didn't see anything, not even the blue creature crawling on the ceiling above them.

Then, after a long and somewhat confusing trek through the corridors, fighting off new Heartless called Surveillance Robots, our heroes made it to a door that Takato hesitated on opening.

Everyone looked at the young prince in worry as he hesitated, then Drake asked, "Takatomon, are you okay?"

Takato took a deep breath, then he said, "It's just that, this was the place where my did a lot of his research. Beyond this door, is my fathers study. And, I'm worried of what it may look like now."

Everyone nodded in understanding, then Henry said, "You must remember, Takato, we're here for you, you know that, right?"

Takato sighed deeply, then he said, "Yeah, I know, but, still." Then Takato took a deep breath, and closed his eyes, clearing his mind of all the negative thoughts that are flowing through his mind at the moment, then he thought, 'Well, time for me to face the music, as some would say, an see the truth.' Then, with one final deep breath, he opened the door.

Then, everyone walked in, and saw that the study was a mess, Takato gripped his heart tightly, at seeing the Study in this state. There were books thrown to the floor, broken glass everywhere, the room looked like it had seen a fight, and that's what Takato was fearing, then, as he gripped his fist tightly. "Dad always kept his study neat and organized, he would never let it become like this." Takato said in a serious voice, his fists shaking with barely controlled rage.

Jeri then looked at the young prince, and saw the pain that he was in, then she softly asked, "Takato, I know this may seem, painful, but, what do you think happened in here?"

Takato gripped his fists tightly, then he said, "There's no doubt in my mind about what happened in here. This is where my father was attacked by his former apprentices, and then they did something to him."

Then Sora looked around and saw a painting mounted on a wall, then he said, "Takato! Look! It's the guy who said he was Ansem! You know, the Seeker Of Darkness!"

Takato looked and saw the painting of a young man with silver hair and a lab coat, hanging up on the wall, then Takato said, "This was Xehanort."

Terriermon looked at Takato and asked, "THAT'S XEHANORT!? Isn't he supposed to be, like, you know, old and wrinkly? Why does he look so young!?"

But, before anyone could answer him, Donald looked around and he asked, "Where's the King?"

Sora then looked around and he asked, "Hello?"

Rika rolled her eyes, then she looked t Takato and asked, "Yo, Goggle-Prince, there wouldn't happen to be a secret door around here, would there? 'Cause your dad seemed to be the type who would have a secret door leading to a secret room."

But that was when a voice called out, "Hey, you kids!"

Everyone turned and saw a girl wearing a black dress, long black hair, and black gloves. The girl looked around and she asked, "I'm looking for somebody. Have any of you seen a guy with spiky hair?"

Sora looked at his own hair, which caused the girl to laugh, then she said, "Spikier."

Takato lightly chuckled and said, "Miss, you have just described like HALF of the guys in town. Can you be any more clear?"

But the girl didn't clarify, then she said, "I'll just take a look around."

The girl then started pounding on the walls, then Takato asked, "Pardon me for being rude, but, who are you?"

The girl, who was still pounding on the walls, said, "Name's Tifa. Tifa Lockhart. And yours, kid?"

Takato folded his arms and simply said, "Takato. Takato Matsuki."

As the women, now known as Tifa continued searching through the Study, she asked with slight surprise in her voice, "Takato? So YOU'RE the prince that everybody's been talking about these days! Man, the people around town are excited to hear that the lost prince had returned. But, from the way people have been talking about you, I thought you would be a bit older. Heh, color me surprised. Well, young prince, know of any secret doors or anything in here?"

Then Takato chuckled and said, "It's been YEARS since I've been here, in this room, let alone, this castle. So don't ask me for answers to questions that I don't know, Tifa."

Then Tifa walked up to a random wall and started looking at it, then she gave it a strong kick, causing Takato to say, "Hey! Do you mind!? This place is one of the few things that my father loved. Me, my sister, as well as his apprentices, being number one on that list. So, I ask you, please, don't break down the walls."

Tifa simply smiled, then she said, "Sorry, kid. I'll be going now." And just like that, she left.

Takato rubbed his head in annoyance, while Sora, Donald, and Goofy, (A/N: Go through out this whole series, from Traverse Town in the first story to here, and tell me how many times I have written them in this exact order. Good Luck! Same with Takato, Rika and Henry!) all said, "No problem, ma'am!"

Then Tifa left the room, closing the door behind her. Takato sighed then he said, in a defeated voice, "Wonderful."

That was when Leon's voice called out from behind them and said, "So you guys made it."

Everyone turned to see Leon leaning, (A/N: Heh. a leaning Leon. Funny.) up against the wall.

"Leon!" Sora and Takato called out.

Said Leonheart nodded, then our heroes walked up to Leon, and Sora asked, "Isn't the King with you?"

Leon put his finger to his mouth and quietly said, "You'll see him soon enough."

Then Donald loudly yelled out, "Hey!"

Then Leon looked at the kids and said, "Here, this ought to tide you over."

But then, something started pulling from the back of Takato's mind, then he, almost as if in a trance, he then walked up to the wall, and placed his hand on the wall, the same wall that Leon was leaning against, and then a light emerged from the wall where Takato's hand was, and a computerized voice spoke up. "Biometric Identification Scan Complete ! Subject Verified! User: Matsuda Takato, accepted. Radiant Garden Main Computer System Access Port, Granted."

Everyone looked shocked at this revaluation, then Takato went wide eyed, and in a soft and slow voice, he said, "Radiant…Garden. The City…Of…Light."

Then Sora asked, "Radiant Garden? What's that?"

Takato smiled lightly as tears began to fill his eyes, and everyone watched in surprise as Takato seemed to cry, then he rubbed his eyes, collecting himself then he said, "It's…It's the towns true name."

Leon looked surprised at this, "That's right, this town, it used to be called Radiant Garden. But, why the change of the name?"

Takato shook his head, then he said, "Figure that out after. Right now, I want to see my dad's computer. Guys, let's go!" Then, Takato began running towards the computer.

Sora looked at the others and he said, "I have never seen Goggle-Head act like THIS before." He then turned to the Tamers and asked, "What about you guys? Has Takato ever been like this?"

Everyone shook their heads, then Henry said, "You must remember, this is the probably the first time that Takato has been home in years. And I don't mean the world. I'm talking about this castle. Let me ask you this. How would you react if you were in his shoes? If you have been away from home for years, even if you never even knew it, then find out about a secret past you never knew, learned about it, and then finally returning home? How would you act?"

No one said anything, then they ran after Takato, they saw him staring at the computer, not touching anything, as if, he was afraid of what might happen.

Then Sora pushed Takato aside, and excitedly said, "This is it!" Sora then started typing away at the computer impatiently, then he asked, "Where's Kairi? Where's Riku?"

Then everyone watched as Sora began slamming his hands on the computer, this caused Takato to yell out, "Sora, STOP! You're going to either break the computer, or even worse, trigger a defensive retaliation system! And either lock us out of the computer permanently, or worse!"

Sora looked at Takato and rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment, then he said, "Oh, sorry, Takato. Guess I got a little carried away."

Takato shook his head, then he said, "Why don't you let the one who's father built the darn thing, have a crack at it."

Takato then walked up to the computer, then he started typing slowly, "Let's see here. Okay, dad, show me what you've got." Then Takato began trying to hack into his dad's computer, but it seemed as if the thing was very highly encrypted. Then Takato lightly laughed and said, "Heh, man, dad really knew how to encrypt his work."

Rika then walked up to the young prince and leaned up against a wall and asked, "But you can crack it, though, right, Goggles?"

Takato sighed, then he said, "If it were a simple standard encryption, I could. But with dad, nothing is EVER simple. This is dad's personal encryption. And, while I am confident that I COULD decode it, I'm afraid that could take days, weeks, or even MONTHS to do so. Dad was THAT good."

That was when Goofy said looked up and jumped back in surprise as he cried out, "Woah!"

Everyone looked up to see a blue creature crawling on the ceiling, the creature looked down, err, up, in his case, in surprise, and lost it's grip, and fell onto the computer, then Takato raised his hands in a non threatening manner, then he calmly said, "Easy, little guy, don't move."

But then Donald and Terriermon said, "Get off of there!" Then they both jumped onto the computer's keyboard, and the creature jumped on their heads, and ran away. Then in anger, they both stomped their feet.

This caused an alarm to sound off, then Takato sighed and in a very annoyed voice, he said, "Wonderful. Just wonderful."

Then a computerized voice said, "Attention current user. This is a warning. Further misuse of this terminal will result in immediate defensive action."

Then Sora looked around and asked, "Who's there?"

And Takato sighed and while glaring at the two dimwits, he said, "For some reason, I feel like I should know that voice. Who are you?"

Then the voice said, "I am the Master Control Program. I oversee this system."

Then Sora looked around for the source of the voice, but not finding anything, then he asked, "Where are you?"

That was when Terriermon and Donald moved a single foot, causing everyone to yell, "DONALD! TERRIERMON!"

Then Takato turned to Henry, Rika, Jeri and the Digimon and said, "Stay out of here! I don't know what's gonna happen, but I don't want you guys to be a part of it!"

Then Donald and Terriermon had at least the courtesy to look apologetic as they said, "We're sorry…"

Then the Master Control Program said, "Decision gate reached. You are now under arrest."

Takato sighed in annoyance, already accepting what is to come, then he glared at the two idiots and said, "You guys are gonna get it when this is over, you hear me?"

Everyone turned to see the weird yellow device in the back of the room begging to glow, then Takato's eyes widen, then he turned to Drake and said, "Drake, get everyone away from here, NOW!"

Drake, not even wasted a second, and grabbed Rika, Henry, Jeri, Renamon, and Leon away from the computer. Then Takato glared at the device, then he tried to get his friends, but it was too late, and then, they were uploaded into the computer.

Rika then blinked a few times at what she had just seen, then she asked, "Okay, what in the name Yeggdrasil was THAT about!?"

Drake walked up to the computer, not touching anything, then he said, "I fear, that they have been brought into cyberspace."

Jeri looked at Drake in confusion, then she asked, "Cyberspace? You mean, like the Digital World?"

Drake shook his head and he said, "No, this is something completely different. It's more advanced than anything that the Digital World could be. The DigiWorld is a world that has grown on it's own, and is still growing and evolving. This, this is a world that has been completely designed from the ground up.

Every location, every wall, even every code, each and every last part, has been strategically designed and placed with purpose and calculated planning. And unlike before, I don't see any way for us to get them out of there from here."

Henry looked at the dragon Digimon in worry, then he asked, "What? But, how can that be?"

Drake looked at the Brainiac of their group and said, "Henry, even with my heightened intellect, even I can see that this stuff, makes what the Wild Bunch made, make the Digital World itself, look like an 80's arcade system. Ansem the Wise really lives up to his name sake. I doubt that even Izzy or Shibumi could be able to crack this system. Or if they could, it would take the both of them working together for a solid week to figure out at least HALF of this."

Everyone was shocked at how Drake was able to analyze everything, then Henry asked, "How can you tell, Drake?"

Drake smiled and said, "You must remember, I may be a Digimon, but even I have many surprises. The Digital Hazard may be a sentient being that lives inside Takato, but it's power stems from computers." Everyone looked at Drake in wonder, then he laughed and said, "I'm just kidding, I'm reading what this thing is saying. Have you ever tried it?"

Everyone had a huge anime face plant, then Drake, in a serious voice, then said, "But, this tech is much more then just a simple defense system. It seems like so much more, and I don't dare want to try and mess with this. So, unfortunately, this problem is out of my hands."

Renamon then asked, "So, does that mean that…?"

Drake looked at the golden kitsune, and nodded, "Yes, it means that for once, they're on their own." Everyone was worried about this, even Henry.

Henry looked at the machine that had just turned his partner into data, then he said, "Terriermon, be safe."

***In the machine***

We find our heroes, Sora and Takato, passed out in a strange blue world, and Sora and Takato were now wearing strange new outfits. They were now wearing grey armor, and outfits, and Sora's armor had glowing lines of cyan, with the crown symbol on the back of his helmet, while Takato had red glowing lines, and the Digital Hazard on the back of his helmet, and Takato's signature goggles, and transformed into visors.

This was when Sora and Takato began regaining consciousness, and Takato softly said, "I'm gonna murder that bunny, and duck after this!"

Then Sora and Takato started getting up, and Sora looked at their new clothing in confusion. Then the two boys heard Donald's voice, "Sora!"

Followed quickly by Terriermon's, "Takato!"

The two boys found themselves being surrounded by Heartless called 'Strafers' and the three animals looked exactly like Sora and Takato, but Donald, Goofy, and Terriermon, had blue glowing lines.

Then Sora said, "Go on, show 'em whose boss!"

Takato nodded and said, "Yeah, what are you waiting for?"

But just as the two boys were about to make their move, a man wearing the same kind of outfit as the boys, but having the same kind of red colored lines as Takato appeared. Then Sora asked, "Who're you?"

Then the man said, in a loud commanding voice, "I am Commander Sark."

"A Heartless commander?" Sora asked in confusion.

To which Takato responded with, "That's a new one." But both boys just smiled, not really taking this guy all that seriously. But Takato still had his guard up.

Then Sark scoffed at their arrogance and said, "Observe." Sark then pointed to Donald, Goofy, and Terriermon, who then started shocking.

Then Sora and Takato fearfully said, "Okay, you're the boss! We get it."

Sark then smirked a villains smirk, as he led our heroes into a prison cell, then Sora asked, "Man, what kind of world is this, anyway?"

Takato sighed and said, "I honestly don't know."

That was when a voice from behind them, said, "You're inside a mainframe computer system."

Sora looked at their cell mate and asked, "A what system?"

To which the man said, "A computer system-for processing data. This system is a copy of one created by a corporation called ENCOM. The original program was destroyed."

Then the man stood up and he said, "But this copy was acquired by another User. The new User updated and customized the programs, renaming the system 'Hollow Bastion OS.' He used the system for town maintenance, and to advance his private research. My name is Tron. I'm a security program. But now I'm under arrest, same as you."

Sora then looked to his friends and asked, "Did you guys get any of that?"

To which Takato nodded, then something clicked and he asked, "Wait! This new User, you speak of, he wouldn't to happen to be named Ansem, would he?" Takato asked, already getting an idea of what is going on here.

Tron nodded and he said, "Yes, Ansem was the one who reprogrammed and rebuilt the system, why do you ask, User?"

"My name is Takato Matsuda." Said Takato, for the first time, using his actual last name. "And Ansem Matsuda, otherwise known as Ansem The Wise, to his people, is my father."

This caused Tron's eyes to widen in shock, then Sora said, "I'm Sora."

"And I'm Donald."

"Nice to meet'cha, Tron. I'm Goofy."

"And I'm Terriermon! But you can call me, your lord and savior! Hah!" To which Takato rolled his eyes and slapped him in the back of his head, causing Terriermon to glare at him, but lost the glaring contest when he saw the Digital Hazard flash in Takato's eyes.

Then Tron said, "With that configuration, and you being Ansem's son, you must be Users."

To which Sora turned his head in confusion, then he asked, "Users?"

And Takato rolled his eyes and said, "Human beings from the outside/real world. Those who USE the system. C'mon, Sora, I thought you would have caught on by now." The way Takato said it, kind of made it seem like he was disappointed in Sora's slow speed of catching on.

Then Tron said, "You'd better get out of here quickly. Who knows what the MCP will do to you?"

"MCP?" Asked Sora, getting lost in this story.

Then Tron said, "The Master Control Program." Everyone already knew that they were in trouble, then Tron said, "It controls the whole system. If you idle here, you will be de-rezzed."

Then Takato jumped in shock as he and the others asked, "De-rezzed!?"

Then Sora fearfully asked, "So, how do we get outta here!?"

Tron folded his arms, then walked up to a machine that looked similar to the one in Ansem's Study. Then Tron said, "This terminal could've gotten you back to the User world."

And hearing that, the original trio of Sora, Donald and Goofy looked happy, but Takato and Terriermon both heard the word, 'Could've' and knew, that that's no longer an option.

Then Tron said, "But the MCP cut the power 50 microcycles ago." And everyone was depressed at hearing that, well, more like annoyed in Takato and Terriermon's case. Then Tron said, "If we could bring the energy core in the canyon online, we could power it back up."

Everyone looked like they had some kind of hope restored, but then, Tron said, "The problem is-we're stuck in this cell." Tron then pointed towards a glowing wall, then he said, "We're not going anywhere unless we unlock the energy fields."

Sora and Takato thought about it, then they had an idea, they summoned their Keyblades, and nodded towards one another. Then after swinging their Keyblades at the door, particles of data dropped and once the two boys collected them, they aimed their Keyblades and launched a beam of light, destroying the door.

***Meanwhile***

"Master Control. Why not just de-rezz Tron?" Asked Sark, the man in red from before.

Then the MCP, which was a large digital face on a screen, said, "I still haven't located the password to the dataspace."

Then Sark asked, "What about a logic probe? With all your processing power…"

Then the MCP interrupted Sark, and said, "Out of the question. The current environment hampers the processing power needed for such an analysis." That was when an alarm sounded, then the MCP said, "You're dismissed, Sark. Stop any remaining anomalies in the system-or else. End of line."

Sark nodded, and he said, "Acknowledged."

***Back with our heroes***

Now that the door was no longer locked, our heroes were able to leave. Then Tron walked up to Sora and Takato and said, "Remarkable…It seems that the two of you have some unique functions. I'll go with you to the canyon. You'll need someone who can interface with the energy core, right?"

Takato nodded and said, "Yeah, thanks for the help, Tron."

Then everyone walked onto, what looked to be an elevator. Once everyone was on board, the elevator began lifting upwards, in a slanted escalator esq style.

Soon enough, everyone had reached the canyon, then Tron pointed towards a nearby room and towards the device in the center of it and said, "That thing in the center's the energy core. Let's try accessing it. We might be able to find parts to reboot from all the junk."

Sora and the others walked up to the computer, then everyone noticed that the system was missing a pink block, and Tron said, "This is the energy core."

Then Takato noticed dozens of boxes falling from the sky, then he noticed one turned pink for a single second, then all of the cubes began circling around the machine, but Takato kept his gaze on the one that had turned pink, then, after spinning for quite a bit, the blocks stopped.

Then Sora asked, "Which one's the one we need? There's a lot here."

Then Takato summoned both of his Keyblades, and charged at the block that he slashed at the box for a few seconds, and then, it turned pink, and a sound was heard, letting everyone know, that the choice was correct.

Then Sora and Takato aimed their Keyblades at the box, and lifted the box upwards, sending it towards it's correct spot, then once it was aligned, then threw their Keyblades forward, and locked to piece in place.

Then everyone watched as the machine powered up, then it started spinning, as it slowly became one with the ground. Then everyone watched as the whole room lit up like a star.

Then Terriermon asked, "Well, that's done. Is it mission accomplished time, yet?"

Tron nodded and said, "Yes." Everyone smiled, then Tron looked over to Takato and asked, "Now, then…Takato, will you do something for me?"

Takato nodded and he said, "Sure thing. What is it, Tron?"

Tron was taken aback by this, then he asked, "Don't you want to hear what it is first?"

Terriermon then gave Tron a thumbs up and said, "Tron, one good deed deserves another."

Donald nodded and said, "Indeed. You helped up! Now it's our turn."

Tron shook his head, then he said, "You guys really are Users. Your actions are totally illogical."

Terriermon then gave Tron a thumbs up, then he smiled and said, "That's the plan. Illogical is the only way to play!"

Takato shook his head, then he asked, "But, seriously, Tron, whaddya need?"

Then Tron said, "Let's hurry back to the pit cell first."

Then Sora folded up his arms and asked, "Where's that again?"

Then Takato facepalmed and said, "Sora, what's the only other cell that we've been to in here?"

Then Tron said, "That's the sector where we met."

Then Sora nodded and said, "Rodger!"

Then everyone rushed back to the elevator, and returned to their holding cell. Then Tron started to reconfigure the terminal, and Sora asked, "So what did you want us to do?"

Tron then stood up and turned to our heroes and said, "Find my User. He'll give you the password to access the DTD."

Then Takato said, "But…" Takato shook his head, putting that off for the moment, then he said, "Sure, no problem, Tron."

Then Sora asked, "So, um…"

And Tron stated, "DTD is the name my User gave to the dataspace. Copies of all the original system programs are stored there, along with anything that's sensitive or restricted."

Then Goofy asked, "Is there stuff about the Heartless, or Organization XIII?"

Tron thought about it, then he said, "Hmm…Most likely." Then Tron went back to working on the terminal, then he said, "A number of my functions were appropriated when I last took on the MCP. That's why I need the password. If I can get inside the DTD, I can access my original backup program and restore all my functions." Tron then looked towards our heroes and said, "Then, I'll be able to put this system back the way it was before the MCP got control and changed everything. The way it was supposed to be-a free system for you-the Users."

Then Goofy began thinking, then he asked, "Gee, Tron, ain't the MCP one of those programs, too? Do you know who it was who made it?"

Then Tron looked over to Takato, and said, "Actually…" But then Tron stopped for a minute, then he said, "I don't know."

Sora slowly nodded and said, "Okay, we'll just have to find…Oh, yeah…"

Takato sadly sighed, then he looked at Tron and said, "Listen, Tron, that's why we are accessing the computer in the first place, I'm trying to find my father as well."

Tron looked at Takato and asked, "What do you mean?"

Takato looked over at the terminal, then he thought, 'Can I really tell him?'

Then Hazzado said, "Takato, look. You can't keep on hiding from your past forever. You want to accept it, but you are afraid of who you'll become if you do so. Stop worrying about who you could be, and focus on who you are now. The more fear you show, the less likely you are to find your father. So, stop acting like a scared kid, already, and be a man! Be a KING!"

The way that Hazzado practically yelled out that last word, lit a fire inside Takato, then he opened his eyes and said, "The reason why we came here, Tron, is to FIND my father. He's been missing for years now. And I'm trying to find him"

Tron then asked, "Missing? Really? How!?"

Takato looked down sadly and said, "His former apprentices, they had accomplished a coupe d'etat, and overthrew my father, and sent him somewhere. Then me and my sister were sent too two separate worlds, with amnesia, we forgot who we were, and while I regained my memories, I'm afraid that my sister, has yet to fully remember who she once was."

That was when the terminal started glitching out, and Tron turned back and said, "Looks like the MCP's on to us. I'll keep the terminal up and running. You better exit the system, now!"

Takato nodded, then he said, "Sure thing, Tron." Then Takato lightly smiled and he said, "And don't worry, knowing my father, even if he went missing, I'm sure he left that password, or at least a clue about it, somewhere in his study. We'll find it. I promise."

Terriermon and Donald said, "Yeah! Count on us!"

Then Tron said, "Okay. You're good to go. Hurry!"

Then our five heroes stood in front of the terminal, then the ground below them lit up, and in a flash of light, they were gone. Then Tron said, "Master Ansem, where could you have gone?"

Thechaosmaster: And here we have it, the first chapter of todays two chapter upload. Now, I know I had Terriermon in here for no reason, but, I just wanted to do something different, well, time to edit the next chapter.
