Yu-gi-oh! 5Ds after hours

Chapter twenty: Welcome to Hogan University (P.S.: Wow, it's been a while, huh?)

Yusei Fudo was standing in the kitchen of the Atlas penthouse, located in New Domino City, which is a suburb of San Francisco, California. After pouring himself a mug of coffee, and adding the sugar and creamer he wanted, Yusei proceeded to make his way over to the dining table where he'd read the morning paper. Upon reaching the dining table, however, all thoughts of Yusei's regular morning routine fled his mind when he saw that the dining table had pretty much been shanghaied by his wife, Akiza Fudo (nee Izinski). The young married woman had a number of papers spread out on the table, and each paper resembled an application of some kind.

"…Still on the hunt for a nanny to help with Alphonse and the twins?" Yusei asked his wife as he sat down on the side of the table opposite of here Akiza sat.

Sighing in a resigned tone, Akiza replied, "Is it really that much to ask for a qualified person who we can hire as a live-in nanny to help with the twins and little Al?" The Izinski-turned-Fudo woman had concerns; the people of the penthouse were responsible for two thirteen-year-old twins named Leo and Luna, as well as Alphonse, the recently born son of Yusei and Akiza. It is the hopes of Akiza to find and sub-sequentially hire a live-in nanny to help with managing and raising the penthouse youth.

Smiling sympathetically, Yusei said, "Don't worry, Akiza. I'm certain that you'll find the right person for the job."

Looking up from the applications she was looking at to her husband, Akiza smiled and said, "Thanks, Yusei." As Akiza went back to looking through the various applications and Yusei went to work drinking his coffee, Yusei's three roommates, Jack Atlas, Crow Hogan and Kalin Kessler, along with Kalin's talking dog best friend Dukey, came walking into the dining room.

"Bloody hell, Akiza," Jack remarked in a mildly impressed tone upon seeing all of the applications that were spread out on the surface of the dining table, "You sure are serious about finding a high-quality live-in nanny to help with the wonder twins and your son, aren't you?"

"Well why wouldn't I be?" Akiza replied, "Given how often you guys are busy, along with what Carly, Brianna and I do regularly, we need someone experienced at looking after kids to help with Leo, Luna and Alphonse."

"Especially Alphonse, given he's been born recently," Dukey remarked, "You know, babies require more care and attention than older kids. In fact, do you have a list of all of Alphonse's allergies set aside for the nanny to go over when you hire him or her? A list of medications he may have to take?"

"I have all of that stuff set aside already, Dukey," Akiza replied, "But thank you for showing that level of concern. I just hope the nanny I end up hiring shows just much concern for the job as you just did."

"Hey, why not hire Dukey as the live-in nanny?" Kalin suggested.

"Thanks for the consideration, Kalin," Dukey began, "But I don't think I'm cut out for the job of being a nanny to look after the kids. Not only will I get fur everywhere if I attempt to change Alphonse's diaper, but Luna doesn't really respect me, so I doubt I can get her to listen to me while you guys are all off somewhere."

"Yeah, Luna's loads less cool than my friend from Michigan," Crow remarked, "You know, Luna?" (1)

"So, what's on the agenda today, guys?" Yusei asked his roommates as he got up from his chair.

Jerking a thumb in Crow's direction, Jack said, "Birdbrain here wants to show us something."

"Really," Yusei remarked. Turning his attention to Crow, Yusei continued, "And just what do you want to show us, Crow?"

"One of the absolute finest places of higher learning in the United States," Crow replied, "If not all of existence."

"We're going to an Ivy League school?" Jack asked, his tone making it clear that he did not expect such a statement to come out of his broom-headed roommate.

"Pfft, fuck that!" Crow replied with a dismissive wave of his hand, "I'm talking about a university that's located right here in New Domino City!"

"There's a university located in New Domino?" Kalin asked, arching an eyebrow up out of confusion.

"I know the way," Crow replied, "All I need is for Yusei to drive us."

Shrugging indifferently, Yusei said, "Ehh, why the hell not? If Crow of all people wants to show us a university of all places, then this place has got to be worth at least a look-see." (2)

"Well alright!" Crow cheered as he pumped a fist into the air, "We're on the road to higher education!"

After a short drive, Yusei's Volkswagen pulled into a parking space in the parking lot of what appeared to be either a repurposed high school or repurposed hospital. "…This is a university?" Yusei asked as he and the other guys got out of the Volkswagen.

"Well yeah," Crow remarked, "I mean, don't you see the students walking about?" In response, Yusei, Jack and Kalin all looked around; they saw a number of young adults walking about; a lot of them were dressed as university or college students, and all of them were either wearing a backpack or carrying at least one book.

"Well this place seems lively, I'll give it that," Jack remarked.

"Come on, guys," Crow said as he gestured for the other guys to follow him, "I'll take you to the dean's office." When Crow started taking off, Yusei, Jack and Kalin all exchanged looks quickly before they proceeded to follow Crow to the dean's office. The other three guys all had varying degrees of interest in meeting whoever the hell the dean of this university is, and why Crow of all people wanted to introduce him or her to them.

Eventually, the four guys all made their way to the dean's office. Crow led them into the room, which looked like a typical university dean's office to them. The large, stately wooden desk in front of them was the main feature of the office; behind the deck was a high backed leather revolving chair, its back turned to the guys. "Excuse me, sir or ma'am," Jack said to whoever might have been sitting in the chair, "But we're here to see you."

To the shock of Yusei, Jack and Kalin, when the chair turned to face them, Crow was sitting in the chair, and dressed in a formal suit as well. "'Sup, bitches?" Crow said.

"Birdbrain?!" Jack exclaimed out of shock before turning to where Crow was standing with the group between Jack himself and Kalin; Crow was not standing there. "But how did you…" Jack said, "But you were…How is…" Realizing that the answer was going to confuse him anyway as the answer would come from Crow, Jack said, "Oh, forget it." (3)

"Crow, where the hell is the dean?" Yusei asked in a suspicious tone.

"You're looking at him, dudes," Crow answered, "This is my university that we're at." Holding his arms out, Crow said, "Welcome to Hogan University!"

"You have your own university?" Kalin asked, very clearly looking shocked.

"Hells yeah, man," Crow replied as he got up out of his chair, "How else did you guys think I'm able to cover my share of the monthly expenses?"

"By stealing the money?" Jack answered in a tone that was half sarcastic and half firmly believing that the answer that he had just given was actually correct.

"That's part of where my money comes from, yes," Crow admitted, "But I have a number of other sources of income. For example, I have Hogan University right here, where students come from all over to learn what they can't learn at any other institution of higher learning. You see, we here at Hogan University pride ourselves in the fact that we offer students a University-level education at a community college-level price." (4)

Kalin was about to say something, but a secretary carrying a box that was roughly the size of a toaster oven let herself into the office, cutting Kalin off in the process. "Excuse me, Dean Crow," the secretary began.

"Yes, Gladys?" Crow replied as he turned to face the secretary.

Handing the box to Crow, the secretary named Gladys said, "Julie's tuition for the semester just came in."

"Well alright," Crow remarked as he received the box and walked over to his desk with it.

"Julie?" Jack said to Crow in a questioning tone after Gladys took her leave.

"You guys remember Julie, don't you?" Crow said as he started to open the box, "She was that girl working at the taco place over in the Galleria Shopping Mall."

"Oh, now I remember her," Yusei said, "Yeah, she still owes me a bur-" Yusei stopped midsentence when Crow had opened the box and removed what was inside; it was Julie's taco hat. "…Are you fucking shitting me?" Yusei said in a deadpan.

"Hey, I said it was a cool hat," Crow replied as he walked over to a shelf along the wall on the left (if you're standing in front of the desk) side of the room. Crow placed the taco hat on a wig bust that was on the shelf, putting it in the middle of two other wig busts, both of which wore one of the hats that was on the stuffed camel that Crow picked up during the guys' trip to Peach Creek a while ago. "There we are," Crow remarked as he looked at his collection of hats.

"Please tell me that you actually accept money as payment for tuition, Birdbrain," Jack said.

"Oh, chill your tits, Jack," Crow replied as he turned to face his roommates and friends, "This was just a one-time thing because I think that the taco hat is fucking cool. I regularly expect the students of my university to pay their tuition with actual money."

"Well thank goodness for that," Jack remarked with a nod as he crossed his arms.

"So, Crow," Yusei began in a tone of mild disbelief. Looking around the office, Yusei continued, "You're the dean of a university."

"Damn straight I am," Crow said, "Why, take a look at the little name plate on my desk." The three guys walked over to Crow's desk, where Yusei picked up the name plate to see what it said; the name plate said 'Doctor Professor Dean Crow F. Hogan: Md., PhD, MMOJRPG, LOL, WTF, FTW, YOLO, BBQ'. (5)

"Yeah, I'm quite the accomplished scholar, am I not?" Crow asked in a self-amused tone.

"No, you're not, Birdbrain!" Jack snapped, "Everything you learned you got from living off of the streets as an orphan! Hell, the only reason you're able to do any math at all is because you learned how to play Duel Monsters!"

"Speaking of, I'm surprised that a game of Duel Monsters hasn't taken place by now," Kalin remarked, "I mean, shouldn't at least one duel have taken place by this point? We're, like, twenty chapters in by this point."

"That's not the point, Kalin," Jack retorted, "The point is that-" Jack was cut off when Gladys the secretary came back into Crow's office.

"Excuse me, Dean Crow," Gladys said, "But the appointment you were expecting is here."

"Ah yes, thank you, Gladys," Crow replied as the secretary took her leave. Turning to face the guys, Crow said, "A mother whose daughter is looking to enroll here at Hogan University, along with the potential student herself, is here to take a tour of the campus grounds. The woman even brought the rest of her kids along, but that's mostly because she couldn't afford to leave them all home alone." Clapping his hands together, Crow said, "You guys wanna help me give the woman and her oldest child a tour around Hogan University?"

"Sounds like nothing we can't handle," Yusei remarked. To Jack and Kalin, Yusei asked, "What do you guys think?"

"I want to see what the rest of this place is like myself," Jack declared, "I wanna know just what exactly Birdbrain thinks constitutes as a university."

"Sounds like it might actually be some fun," Kalin replied.

Yusei nodded to Jack and Kalin before turning to face Crow. "It looks like we're all in," Yusei said to Crow.

"Well hot damn!" Crow said. Turning around, Crow said, "Come with me, dudes! We got a tour to give!"

About a moment later, the guys all made their way into the main reception area of the university's office section. Upon reaching the front desk, the guys heard a familiar female voice call out, "Hey, Crow! Over here, dude!" The four guys turned their heads in the direction the call came from; as such, they saw all of the Loud siblings, accompanying their mother Rita. It had been Luna Loud, Crow's friend from Michigan, who had called out.

"Bloody hell," Jack remarked when he saw the Loud family. Pointing to them, Jack continued, "What the hell are they doing here?"

"Wait a minute," Rita said when she saw Jack, "How are you-"

"Magic," Crow replied, interrupting the Loud family matriarch in the process, "But that's not the main issue here. To what do I owe the pleasure of your family visiting us here at my prestigious university?"

"Wait a minute," Rita said, "This is your university? You own a university?"

"Exactly," Crow replied.

Turning to face her daughter Luna, Rita said, "Luna, you never told your father and I that your friend in California owns the university that we're trying to get your sister into."

"To be completely honest mom," Luna replied as she shrugged, "I just thought that it was a coincidence that the university's name was the same as Crow's last name."

"Sorry, bro," Crow said to his friend from Michigan, "I guess it never came up." Turning his attention back to Rita, Crow continued, "But anywho, back to business. You said that you have a daughter that's looking into attending classes here."

"Yes, that would be my oldest daughter Lori," Rita replied as she gestured to the first-born Loud sibling. With a mildly apprehensive look on her face, the Loud matriarch continued, "Umm, how much will tuition be, Mr. Hogan?"

"Please, call me Crow," the broom-headed turbo duelist replied in an easy-going tone, "And as for the matter of tuition, it all depends on how many classes she takes per semester."

"How so?" Rita asked.

"Lori's tuition for the semester will be one-hundred dollars for every class she takes," Crow explained, "So if she springs for a full semester, which is four classes, then her tuition for that semester will only be four-hundred dollars."

"That's more reasonable than tuition at some of the other places I was considering," Lori remarked in a mildly shocked tone.

"As reasonable as it is, it still has to be covered," Crow said. To Rita, Crow asked, "So how will Lori's tuition be covered? Will it be paid for out of pocket, or is your daughter entitled to some sort of grant or scholarship?"

"We'll be covering it out of pocket," Rita replied, "My family…recently came into something of a windfall." (6)

"Cool, cool," Crow remarked as he nodded, "Well anywho, would you like for my friends and I to give you and your kids a tour of the campus grounds?"

"Yes, that sounds lovely," Rita said, "Thank you, Crow."

Turning to face his friends, Crow said, "Well what the hell are we waiting for? We got a tour to give, you guys!"

"I hope this doesn't end badly," Jack muttered as he, Yusei and Kalin proceeded to follow Crow and the Louds as they started the tour of Hogan University.

"So, Mr. Loud had to stay behind again?" Crow said in a conversational tone as he and the guys showed the Loud family around.

"Well someone had to stay behind to make sure the pets didn't go crazy while we were gone," Rita explained.

Shrugging, Crow remarked, "You got me there, ma'am." The group eventually reached a bulletin board in a courtyard area, where they made their first stop on the tour. "This here is the main courtyard of Hogan University," Crow said, "This is where students hang out outside in between classes. This place also sees a lot of foot traffic, as students frequently have to pass through here to get to their-Hmm?"

Crow stopped suddenly as he looked over to the bulletin board, where a female student stood. The girl had fair skin and chin-length light brunette hair. She wore glasses, a pink beanie, a pink shirt with white trim, blue jeans, and a pair of white shoes. The girl was currently pinning something to the bulletin board.

"Hey, Megatron!" Crow shouted, getting the girl's attention and prompting her to walk over.

"Can I help you, Dean Crow?" the girl asked when she reached the group.

"I just need to borrow your assistance for a few seconds," Crow answered. To the Louds, Crow said as he gestured to the girl, "This here is Megatron Griffin, although most people just call her Meg. She is one of Hogan University's most distinguished students. Lori, if you end up getting accepted here, you would be wise to follow miss Griffin's example."

"Sounds fair, Crow," Lori replied.

"That's Doctor Professor Dean Crow to you!" Crow retorted, "Although you can call me Dean Crow for short." Turing to face Meg, Crow said, "You can go back to what you were doing now. Sorry for having to use you for a second there just now."

"No problem, Dean Crow," Meg replied before she returned to what she was doing.

"So, Louds," Crow said, "Shall we continue the tour?" The group proceeded to continue on the tour of the campus grounds.

"Was that girl's name actually Megatron?" Jack whispered into Yusei's ear as they walked at the back of the group, earning a confused shrug out of Yusei in the process. (7)

"And here you'll find the hallway where a number of classes pertaining to mathematics is all held," Crow said as he led the group down a hallway with a number of doors along the walls.

"The one door had a sign that says 'Crime Math 101," Lisa remarked as she and her family passed one of the classrooms, "You actually teach students how to perform crime-related math at this school?"

"Well what if Lori wants a career in criminal law?" Crow replied, "Or if she wants to be a police officer, or go into undercover work? She has to know what people are talking about when they talk about things like two-hundred kilos of some sort of drug."

"You still could have picked a better name for the class," Lisa retorted in her usual dry monotone.

"Are you a math expert, little missy?" Crow asked in a challenging tone.

Smirking, Lisa replied, "Try me."

"Alright, here's a math problem for you," Crow began, "If I throw a triangle out of a car, and the car is gong twenty kilometers an hour, and wind resistance is a thing that exists, how many cupcakes can Pedro buy with one human soul?" (8)

Her eyes widening out of shock, Lisa said, "That problem makes no sense!"

"Actually, little dude, it totally does," Luna said to her four-year-old sister, "And to answer the question, it varies depending on the quality of the soul in question. A soul's quality is affected by various factors such as the age of the person the soul came from, as well as how big the person was as well. And this doesn't even factor in the quality of the cupcakes that Pedro is trying to buy with the soul."

To Luna, Crow said, "If you can get all of that down in the form of a report, and then hand it off to Lori so she can turn it in, it would make her chances of getting into Hogan University look really good."

"…You have got to be kidding me," Lisa said dryly.

"You're preaching to the choir on this one, sister," Jack remarked to the brainy Loud sibling.

"I notice that there's also a philosophy class in this hall," Lincoln said when he turned to see one of the doors along the wall.

"Ah yes, philosophy," Crow remarked, "A class that many students end up taking. I put it in the hall here with the math classes mostly because I had trouble thinking of somewhere else I could put it."

"I wouldn't want to take any philosophy class at a school that Birdbrain owns," Jack whispered to Yusei and Kalin, drawing nods of agreement out of both of them.

"It's a required class for some of the degrees offered here at Hogan University," Crow said to the Loud family, "And even if the degree Lori springs for doesn't require it, it's still one hell of an elective class that I would highly recommend."

"Wow, Dean Crow," Leni said, "University sounds, like, totes awesome!"

"Please Leni, call me Crow," Crow replied with a gentle chuckle, "And why wouldn't it be awesome? Post school education has a tendency to be some of the best times in a person's life!"

"Wait," Lola said, "Why does Lori have to refer to you by your title, but Mom and Leni can just refer to you by name?"

"Because there's a chance I may end up becoming Lori's dean," Crow explained.

"That actually makes sense, Lola," Lisa said. In a bemused tone, the brainy Loud added, "It's the first thing he said that makes any sense."

"Oh yeah?" Crow said to Lisa, "Well how's this for making sense? Joffrey Baratheon is traveling at a constant velocity of one-hundred and sixty-two kilometers an hour for three-point-two hours until he plows into a brick wall and dies a fiery death. How far did Joffrey travel before his met his well-deserved demise?"

"Well let's see here," Lisa began, "If the velocity of travel is one-hundred and sixty-two kilometers per hour, and-"

"That is actually a trick question," Luna interrupted, "Everyone knows that Joffrey Baratheon died during his wedding feast due to drinking poisoned wine." (9)

"See?" Crow said to Lisa as he gestured to Luna, "She gets it!"

Giving her best deadpan look ever, Lisa said, "Why do I even bother?"

"Now you know how I feel," Jack remarked.

Later, Rita took her other kids to the food court located on campus grounds, leaving Lori with Yusei, Jack, Crow and Kalin to continue the tour. "So, Lori," Crow began, "What do you think of Hogan University so far?"

"It seems like a very nice place," Lori remarked as she looked around while she and the guys walked through the main courtyard again, "Of course, if I do end up getting accepted here, I'm going to have to find a place to stay while I'm attending classes here in California."

"Why not try giving being homeless a try?" Crow suggested, "It worked for me up until my friends and I started sharing a penthouse."

"…Only someone like you would be a friend of my sister Luna's," Lori remarked dryly.

"Yeah, those in our line of work tend to be awesome," Crow said in a self-assured tone.

As the group walked, they eventually saw two students, both of which being girls, talking to each other. Both girls had similar outfits, what with white long-sleeved shirts under t-shirts, white skirts that reached their knees, and the same shoes. However, there were some differences. The first girl had straight blonde hair that reached the tips of her shoulder blades, and her t-shirt was red. The second girl had black hair that looked exactly like the hairstyle King Varian Wrynn sported until he died, her t-shirt was green, she wore glasses with a black square frame, and her right leg from the knee down was covered in horrific bruises and more than a few scars; the girl had clearly been in accident of some sort.

"That is the most disturbing thing I have ever seen in my entire life," Jack remarked to the others as he pointed to the second girl.

"Wow, okay Jack!" Crow said in an offended tone, "Glad to see how you really feel about people who clearly had gone through severe trauma, you ass!"

"The hell are you talking about, Birdbrain?" Jack retorted with a confused look, "I was talking about the girl's insane hairst-" Jack was cut off when Lori placed her hand on Jack's right shoulder so she could forcibly turn him to face her. The oldest Loud sibling then thrusted her hand into Jack's chest, grabbed ahold of something, and pulled her hand out; to the shock of Yusei and Kalin, Lori had pulled out Jack's heart, which was still beating. The blonde-haired turbo duelist died as a result, his body collapsing onto the ground. (10)

As the guys looked at Jack's lifeless body as it laid on the ground, blood slowly pooling out from the hole in his chest, Meg Griffin walked by. Turing her attention to see what had happened, the accomplished student said, "Pfft, what a wimp," before walking away to continue on with her business. A few seconds after that, Rita and the rest of her kids came back.

"Hey Crow," Rita began, "The food court that you got here has this amazing frozen yogurt booth that Oh my goodness your blonde friend is dead!"

"Yeah, Lori plunged her hand into Jack's chest, grabbed his heart, and literally ripped it out," Crow explained, "Granted, she only did so after Jack made a totally uncool comment about people who had gone through severe trauma, so I completely understand why she lost her temper." With a mildly unsure look on his face, Crow added, "Umm, yeah. Luna told me about what happened. I'm really sorry."

"Yeah, it's not something that we like to take lightly in our home," Rita replied, "But still, Lori killing your one friend in retaliation for that comment…I'm surprised that you and your other friends aren't all that upset by it."

"You'd be surprised by how much of a frequent occurrence this kind of business is for us," Yusei remarked dryly. (11)

"So, umm," Lori began in an unsure tone, "With me killing your friend, even though he was an asshole, I take this means I'm expelled?"

"On the contrary," Crow said to Lori with an amused smile, "You're enrolled."

"You're actually accepting Lori as a student?" Rita exclaimed excitedly, "Oh, thank you, Crow! I was hoping that my daughter would get accepted into a good school!"

"And accepted she has been," Crow replied, "The next semester will start in a few weeks. Lori will still have to decide what degree she wants to pursue, and then she has to pick classes in order to work her way up to that degree, but I can very easily help her with that messy stuff."

"Thanks, Dean Crow," Lori said in a thankful tone, "I literally cannot think of any way that being accepted into a university can get any better."

"Babe?" a young adult male's voice called out, prompting everyone to turn to see a male Hispanic teen around the same age as Lori come walking up. He had black hair and tan skin, and wore a whitish-colored shirt under a green unbuttoned shirt, blue jeans, brown shoes, and a belt with a belt buckle. "Babe!" the Hispanic teen said to Lori, "It really is you!"

"Bobby!" Lori exclaimed happily as she threw her arms around the Hispanic teen's shoulders, drawing him into a hug.

Pointing to the teen that Lori was hugging, Crow said, "Hey Lori, you know him?"

"Oh dude," Luna said to Crow, "That's Lori's boyfriend Bobby Santiago."

"What are you doing here?" Lori asked, clearly sounding happy that her boyfriend was at the same school as her.

"Well after the first place I had in mind…didn't work out," Bobby explained, "My family looked all over for an affordable school for me to go to. Not only is Hogan University one of the least expensive places in the nation, but I actually have relatives who live here in New Domino City. I can crash with them while I attend classes here. I start my first semester in a few weeks."

"Really?" Lori said, "I start my first semester here in a few weeks too!" Giving her boyfriend another hug, Lori said, "Ooh, this is literally the best thing ever, Boo-Boo Bear!"

"Boo-Boo Bear?" Yusei repeated in a confused tone.

"That's the little pet name that Lori came up with for Bobby," Luna explained.

Turning his head to face Bobby, Crow said, "I am going to refer to you as Boo-Boo Bear from here on out." (12)

Sometime before six in the evening, Yusei, Crow and Kalin returned to the Atlas penthouse. "Well that was certainly an interesting experience," Yusei said as he and the other two guys got to the penthouse's front door. Opening the door, Yusei continued as he, Crow and Kalin walked in, "But how are we going to-"

"Oh, Yusei," Akiza said, cutting her husband off in the process and prompting him and the other guys to turn to face Akiza. When they did, they saw that Akiza was sitting on the sofa with Lori. "I finally found someone to hire as the live-in nanny," Akiza said.

"I take it this is her?" Yusei replied as he gestured to Lori.

Nodding in the affirmative, Akiza said, "Yeah. Lori told me that she was accepted as a student at the university that Crow apparently owns earlier today. She needed a place to stay while she's attending classes here in California, and I needed someone to fill that live-in nanny position that I've been wanting to fill, so this works out for everyone."

"Can you handle helping to raise a baby and twins?" Yusei asked Lori.

"Keep in mind that the baby is a boy who was recently born," Kalin began, "The twins are thirteen-years-old, one of the twins is a boy and the other's a girl. A bit different from the baby and twins in your family, to be sure."

"It literally should not be any trouble, sirs," Lori replied, "Trust me, I can handle it."

"Well in that case, I'm looking forward to the help that we'll be having with Alphonse and the wonder twins," Yusei replied with a nod.

"Now we need is to decide what room you'll be using while you're staying here," Akiza said as she got Lori's attention, "I was thinking the room in the same hallway as the twins' respective rooms and Alphonse's nursery."

"Can I take a look at it first?" Lori asked.

"Well certainly," Akiza replied as she got up off of the sofa, "Come with me!" After Lori got up off of the sofa, she proceeded to follow Akiza to the room in question, leaving Yusei, Crow and Kalin in the living room.

"…Well, that happened," Yusei remarked.

END, CHAPTER TWENTY

Author's notes:

1. …Just how many Lunas are there at this point?

2. Prior to this, Yusei had always suspected that Crow had very little interest in post K-12 education.

3. Crow has a tendency to have this sort of effect on Jack.

4. I'm not sure, nor do I really care all that much, if one can get away with doing this in real life.

5. Name one other university dean who has a YOLO. Go on, I dare you.

6. For more on this, check out 'Ten Reasons'.

7. This is actually true. Meg is short for Megatron.

8. This is a 'math problem' that my sister found on the internet a while ago.

9. True story.

10. He'll get over it.

11. Very surprised.

12. Because it's funny.

Sorry that it took forever and a half for this story to get an update, but that does it for the second ten-chapter milestone chapter. Akiza finally got that live-in nanny she's been wanting to help with the youth of the penthouse. Well anywho, as per usual, the 'Yusei and friends do' formula will start back up again starting with the next chapter. Speaking of, I'm certain that chapter twenty-one will come as something of a surprise to a lot of people. Also, in case it wasn't all that clear, Jack was actually talking about the second girl's hairstyle.

Anywho, the next chapter will be interesting, given how strong with the force it is.
