Chapter 28: Operation Manwhore Bet (Part 2)

Meredith's Point-of-View

Lexie and I sat at the bar waiting for the guys, all four of them, to get there. Finally, I saw Alex and Jackson arrive. They looked…pissed...and tired.

"Hey! We are so glad you could make it." I gushed to them. Lexie nodded her agreement.

They looked a little less tired now as they took in our outfits. We decided for the occasion to go Hootchie Chic. I was wearing a short denim skirt and long sleeve see through white shirt, knotted at my waist, with a black camisole under it. Four-inch heels completed the look. Lexie was wearing skintight leather pants, borrowed from me. What? I am a closet freak…with a tight red shirt and black heels. Our hair was down and wavy and our eyes smoky and narrowed with revenge in their depths.

We were looking hot.

"How was your day, Boys?" I asked them as I leaned back with my shot of tequila in my hand. My sixth shot. A lightweight, I was not.

Jackson raised an eyebrow at me and then turned his head toward Joe and ordered a beer.

"Make that two." Alex yelled.

Joe quickly filled their orders, sliding their bottles toward them while shooting a glance at me. I smirked.

Joe was my buddy.

"So?" I prompted.

"Our day sucked." Karev answered bluntly. "Shepherd and Sloan had the same patient and treated us like interns. I had to pick up Sloan's dry cleaning AND get his bone-dry cappuccino."

"Oh, that's nothing. Shepherd made me call the DMV, something about his car registration. Suckers had me on hold for four hours just to tell me there was no problem with his registration." Jackson griped.

"Well, Sloan had me…"

"Hey!" I interrupted. "Why don't you two just forget about the awful days you both had…"

"And concentrate on the night you will be having with us." Lexie finished my suggestion.

"Works for me." Avery said, taking a swig of his beer.

Suddenly the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I shivered causing my nipples to stand up and take notice. That could only mean one thing…

Derek was here.

Yes, I know I am pathetic.

I shot a meaningful look at Lexie who nodded imperceptibly and I leaned closer to Avery and Lexie did the same to Karev.

"So tell me, Avery." I purred. "What made someone as gorgeous as you become a doctor?" I asked.

Yes, that was corny and cheesy. I know this.

But it worked.

"Please call me Jackson, my dad was a doctor, so was my mom…so I heard."

I shot him a confused look.

"I was adopted." He informed me.

"Oh.' Okay really, what DO you say to that. "Sorry?"

Jackson laughed.

"It's okay. I had a good life. What about you?"

"Mine sucked." I told him bluntly.

"Hey! It did not all suck." Lexie suddenly interrupted.

I glared at her.

"Concentrate on your own conversation. I am trying to do…whatever…here." I hissed.

She huffed and turned back to Karev.

I turned back to Jackson and smiled sultrily…or whatever.

He bought it.

"So, how is a guy like you single?" I asked, taking a drink.

"I prefer to fuck around, play the field, one up Shepherd…" He shrugged.

And out sprayed my drink. I swear I coughed up half a lung. Were all the men here depraved? I mean I knew Jackson's rep but to be so blunt about it?

"You okay?"

"Yes, sorry. Just took me by surprise is all." I told him.

Jackson smiled.

"I don't form attachments, bi product of being given away like I didn't matter, I suppose."

"I'm sure it wasn't like that." I said lamely.

"Maybe not, so…" He trailed off.

"So…"

What scintillating conversation this was, hopefully Lexie was faring better. I glanced over and…what the fuck?

She must of gotten something stuck in her throat cause Karev's tongue was sure trying to dislodge it.

I kicked the back of her leg, causing her to pull away.

"Ow!" She glared at me. "What?"

I pulled her closer to me with a fake wide smile aimed towards our present company.

"You are supposed to be making the manwhores jealous, not solidify your place as the Seattle Grace Skank." I hissed.

"Ugh, fine, whatever. You are no fun." She hissed back.

"Hey I am just trying to save you from a life of rotted out twat and mental insanity." I told her.

She rolled her eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me. Unless you have a twenty-four-hour lab at your disposal or some penicillin in your medicine cabinet then you are not taking this prick home and sleeping with him." I informed her.

"Who said I would be sleeping?" She asked.

I raised an eyebrow.

"You are so boring." She told me.

I shrugged.

Maybe I was boring, maybe I was a nagging hag, maybe…

Suddenly I was pulled back and I was kissed within an inch of my life. What the fuck? I was back upright just as suddenly. Jackson was looking at me with astonishment, as was Karev and Lexie.

I looked behind me and OH MY FUCKING SHIT!

Yang, pissed off, bitter and hurting from her friend's death, Yang had kissed me. I opened my mouth to tell her that I didn't swing that way and quite frankly I was surprised she did when she yelled at a man four feet from her.

"I told you I was involved with someone, so leave me alone." She yelled, yanking me towards her. I stumbled slightly but remained standing. "This is Grey, my girlfriend. She would be my wife, but they don't allow that yet in Washington. I don't want you, I am down with the rainbow, so. Go. Away."

The guy looked at me. I vaguely recognized him as our Trauma attending.

"Yes." I cleared my throat. "Yang is the only one for me." I said, forcing another smile. Lexie and the guys and if I am not mistaken, Shepherd and Sloan all snickered. Bastards. I gripped her waist with my hands. "She had me at Go Away too so maybe later there will be hope for you to have a chance or something."

He looked confused and then just laughed.

"If you didn't want to go out with me, you could've just said no." He told Yang and walked away.

I pulled away from her.

"What the hell!" I demanded.

She shrugged.

"You were closest. Thanks Grey."

"Well after you and your tongue invaded my mouth you might as well call me Meredith."

She smiled and extended her hand.

"You already know me as Cristina, so I guess that would be alright." She leaned closer to me. I pulled back quickly. "Relax. I'm straight as a board, just Major Hottie is pushy." She explained.

"Yeah, I know all about pushy." I said.

"So I've heard. And you think Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum is going to do anything other than piss them off?" She asked indicating to Jackson and Karev.

"That is kind of the plan." I told her, glancing quickly at Derek and Mark. They were still watching.

"No, you have to make them want you so bad they are ready to burst. You dance?" She asked suddenly.

"I can."

She disappeared and went to the jukebox and picked her selection.

The opening strains of 'Pour Some Sugar on Me' blared through the speakers. I raised an eyebrow. Yang flit through the crowd and grabbed my arm, pulling me towards the bar. I grabbed Lexie as I was going.

"What are you doing?" She screeched.

"We are going to dance on this bar." I informed her.

Her face lit up.

"Hells yeah. Let's do it!"

Cristina stepped onto the bar, then me, then Lexie.

I grinded against both Lexie and Cristina, ran my fingers through my hair, bit my lip…all of it making me feel alive. This was the me, I used to be…someone I didn't normally miss but shit, this felt good.

I ran a finger down my neck, down my chest, now dewy with sweat. I untied my shirt, slowly easing it off my shoulders. The whooping and the hollering increased to deafening limits, mostly male.

Derek's Point-of-View

She was fucking killing me. It was official, I had died and gone to a split universe of heaven and hell.

Mark and I had scurried to get here, to find Karev and Avery had already made it and were sitting with our girls. At one point, it looked like Avery and Meredith were in a serious conversation. Flirting I could handle, I didn't like it, but it was better than any intense connection.

Mark had come out of his fucking seat when Lexie played tonsil hockey with Karev. I had to practically sit on him to get him to sit back down.

And then…

And then Yang had grabbed Meredith and planted a kiss on her that would rival any porn I had in my now fairly extensive movie library. Yang was okay, way too intense. I had never wanted to sleep with her for fear she would cut off my balls, but a threesome would not be out of the question after seeing that.

Next thing I knew, Yang was dragging Mer to the bar, who in turn was dragging Lexie.

And fuck me if they didn't get up on that bar and shake their moneymakers.

Men of all ages were yelling their encouragement and I enjoyed the show, I did…you KNOW I did…until I realized Meredith wanted to act out not just a Coyote Ugly scene but apparently a Striptease scene too. (I watch a lot of movies now, seeing as I am not playing Hide The Salami anymore…down time sucks).

All these men were not going to see Meredith naked, especially not before I did.

And now she was licking tequila off of Yang and Lexie's necks. And she was reaching for her lacy undershirt.

Nope, that was enough. I shared a glance with Mark and rushed to the bar, grabbing her legs and throwing her over my shoulder.

Yes.

Did I care?

Please. What do you think?

"Put me down!"

I didn't bother dignifying that with a response, just kept walking with her dangling down my back.

"Hey, wait up Man. Where does Lexie live?"

I turned around to see Mark doing to Lexie what I was doing to Meredith. Huh.

She was screaming at him just like Meredith was screaming at me. They were definitely sisters, with an extensive cursing vocabulary.

Meredith took advantage of the diversion to kick me with one of her high heels. Ouch! I secured her legs and smacked her on her ass.

"Settle down. This is for your own good." I told her.

"What the fuck are you doing?"

I turned around and faced Avery.

"Taking my girl home, sorry you will have to find someone else to bang tonight." I told him.

"Jacks…" Meredith started.

"Shhh…baby. You know you love this." I said soothingly to her.

"What!?" She yelled.

"This is foreplay for us," I explained to Avery. "Now go, before you don't see the inside of an OR for the rest of your stay here." I growled.

"Night Meredith. It was nice talking to you tonight." He said, his eyes never leaving my face. I smirked at him before he took his leave.

"I hate you." She said.

"I like you. What do you want to do now?" I asked.

"Go to hell." She muttered.

I looked around for Mark. He was gone. Oh well.

I started walking Meredith towards her apartment.

"Um…Derek?" She asked after a while.

"Yes Dear?" I smirked.

"I think I am going to be sick." She said.

"Yeah, nice try." I said, rolling my eyes.

And then she puked down my shirt.

My good-looking red shirt.

Just perfect.
