The next day after, word spreads like wildfire in the class. For some reason their classmates made more fuss than Yuki and Todoroki did. The boys congratulated Todoroki while the girls already planned to help Yuki dressing up and whatnot for the said date. It was pretty hectic, but it gave a bit of rest for the students who applied for the work study. They must've needed that refreshment.

That night, for one reason and one reason only, the boys and the girls seems fixed on keeping Yuki and Todoroki apart from each other until the date. As of right now, after they had their dinner, the girls had lead Yuki away and are now huddling in her room. Yuki isn't too pleased with it. Not because they're in her private space, not because they're separating her away, but because it's stressing her cat out.

"I swear to God, if any of you scare her, I will kick you out. All of you." Yuki crosses her arm, sitting protectively in front of her pillow, where her cat is hiding. Her classmates collectively agrees to the term, but with how smiley they look, it seems they're not taking her seriously. Yuki sighed as she scratches her cat's head.

"So, anyway, what are you guys planning for tomorrow?" Jiro asks, fumbling with Yuki's recording equipment.

"I don't know. Shouto's the one with all the plans. Momo and Tsuyu seems to know, though." Yuki shrugs.

"We know a little bit. He briefly told us when he was asking for our opinion." Yaoyorozu clarified, further confirmed by Tsuyu's nod.

"Aren't you excited? You must be excited, right?" Hagakure asks as she was bouncing on the edge of the bed. Ashido then adds, "she doesn't look that excited though!"

"Define excited," Yuki mumbled. "I'm grateful, I guess. I'm seriously gonna lose my mind if I stay here doing nothing."

"You're not exactly jobless though. How's your recording going?" Jiro asks again. This time, she's trying to set up Yuki's mic.

"Zero progress. I have eight drafts this month alone. I just can't focus on singing. Or anything, really." Yuki sighed. Her head is just so full that she feels like it's about to burst.

"Your grades has been dropping a bit too..." Uraraka provides unhelpfully, which made Yuki groan shamefully and covers her face. "I know, stop reminding me. I'm trying my best, I promise."

Everything's just going downhill since that day. She's avoiding Aizawa, still obviously hurt, and she's ignoring whatever it was Iroha gave her. The white envelope sits on the corner of her desk's drawer, untouched. The thought of it brings a heavy weight on Yuki's mind but she has no plans to even see it.

"It's okay to sit back, y'know? You're not really being Yuki right now." Ashido comments. "If you want to talk it out, we're here too."

"Or, or, with Todoroki! Or Midoriya!" Hagakure adds. "And if you still can't, there's always your parents!"

Yuki cringed.

"N-no?"

"No, Tooru, no." Yuki shakes her head with a loud exhale. "We, uh, we're not exactly on good terms right now."

"Oh- s-sorry."

"It's alright." Yuki says. "It's not your fault."

It's not her fault Yuki's like this. It's their fault. Or, what if it's Yuki's fault? What if it's her fault, because she was too hopeful and immersed in the thought of having a proper family? What if it really is her fault, and all these mixed emotions in her heart messes with her mind, twisting reality so that she doesn't feel the guilt?

Who is in the wrong?

"You should get some sleep, Yuki." Uraraka suggests, maybe sensing the bad thoughts that's beginning to fill up Yuki's mind. "You got a whole day tomorrow! It's gonna be fun!"

"...yeah. Thanks, guys." As she said so, her friends rushed over to her and have her the tightest hug that she was sure she'd suffocate to death if it were to go any longer. Thankfully, it didn't, and Yuki recovered with a few deep breaths. Her classmates bids her goodnight as they leave the room one by one.

"They left, Lizzie. Are you going to come out now?" Yuki peers over to her pillow. Then, out's a small pink nose, sniffing the air, cautiously taking a step outside. When it's fully emerged from the hiding spot, Yuki gently lifts up the fluffy cat and rests it on her stomach as she lays down.

"Long day tomorrow, huh?" She mumbles, abesntmindedly petting her pet. "It better be a long day."

The next morning at 8, Todoroki is already waiting by the front door, dressed just a tiny bit more than usual. Instead of his usual outer shirt he wears a blazer that was carefully picked out yesterday. Iida suggested to use perfume, and without knowing if it's a good or a bad idea, Todoroki obeys. It doesn't smell that strong, anyway.

As were the girls yesterday, the boys seems more chipper than he does. They chat away carelessly about the plans Todoroki made, excited. Todoroki is too, actually. Or maybe, it's more like nerve than excitement. He's carefully planned out their date last night, and- well, if Yuki doesn't like it then he wouldn't mind if they leave the plan, but if something else ruins it, what then?

"Yuki! Don't bring that sword!" "Yeah! Seriously! It ruins your aesthetic!" Todoroki perked up once he hears frantic footsteps down the hall. He feels his heart thump against his chest, picking up its pace, nervousness growing worse inside him. And then, Yuki appears from the corner.

Her style is still the same; it's simple with two-tone color of light cream and dark brown, but it makes her look graceful. Her two braids are gone and her hair is divided to two, one let loose and the other braided above it and tied with a brown bow. She wears a cream-colored, short puff-sleeve blouse. Around her waist appears to be some type of dark corset with six buttons towards the sides, attached to it is a short skirt of the same tone. Along with that is a pair of dark brown gloves.

Todoroki feels underdressed, but Yuki feels overdressed.

True to their words, behind Yuki hangs her gem sword, swinging and swaying as she moves. She carries a small bag that's slung across her body, resting on her right side. Her hand holds a pair of black low-heeled shoes with ankle straps. Like this, Todoroki just noticed how Yuki carries herself with confidence and grace that makes her look like royalty.

"I have to bring this sword. What will happen if Lunarians appears and there's no gem around?" Yuki says, crouching down to put on her shoes. Todoroki offers his hand when Yuki finishes, which she accepted easily. She's pulled up to her feet and they stayed like that for a short moment, before Todoroki awkwardly lets her hand go.

"Aw, you guys are so cute!" Ashido and Uraraka squeals together, absolutely whipped for the pair.

"Please, shut up..." Yuki sighs quietly. Cute.

Their morning certainly starts eventful. After being sent off by their classmates who shouted out wishes of luck and fun (and Iida who told them to not embarrass U.A.'s name), they have finally set off... heading towards the main gate. U.A. is such a massive school, after all. There will be a little (a lot of) walking from time to time.

It's silent between them, not knowing what they should talk about, not knowing what they should do in particular. How do people go on dates, even? The silence continues until they reach the main gate, where they are stopped by a certain teacher that Yuki just doesn't want to see, as she immediately hid behind Todoroki.

"Off to a date, are you?" Aizawa asks.

"Yes sir." Todoroki answers. Yuki shuffles closer to his back.

"Curfew's at nine. Don't be late."

"Thank y-" before Todoroki could finish his words, Yuki grabs him by his hand and pulled him towards the gate, past Aizawa. She walks at a quick pace, dragging Todoroki behind her. When the boy looked back to the teacher, Aizawa had already walked away.

Things aren't looking good between them.

Yes, Todoroki may not have the best relationship with his father, but it's somewhat a different case from Yuki. Todoroki grew up despising his father for what he did to him and to his family. Yuki grew up taken care of and that made her believe she's loved.

Todoroki grew up hating his father. Yuki grew up loving her's. So to have your familial relationship turn to a rocky road so suddenly, he'd guess it's a lot more harder to deal with. No, he doesn't need to guess; he knows. How many things could make Yuki cry?

"Where do we go first?" Yuki asks, as if nothing happened.

"Breakfast. Do you have any specific place you want to go?" Todoroki replies.

"Not really." Yuki answers. "I don't go out often, so."

"Alright." With that, Todoroki whips out his phone from his pocket and began typing on the screen furiously. They go on like that for a few silent minutes. Just, walking aimlessly, Todoroki still at his phone, Yuki sticking to his side as they began to enter a wider and more populated road.

"I heard looking at your phone for a long time on a date is bad." Yuki says out of the blue. Or, is it really?

"Mm, sorry." Todoroki puts away his phone, but he clearly still have it in his mind, despite looking guilty.

"What were you doing anyway?" Yuki asks. And Todoroki looks even more guilty at that, shoulder raising and lips pressed to a tight line. Was Yuki pushing her luck? She's being a hypocrite too, when just days ago she basically told off Todoroki to respect her privacy.

"I didn't plan anything for breakfast because I wanted to let you go where you want..." the boy confesses, shyly. Yuki feels a thump in her chest. "I was looking for a place for breakfast, so..."

Just how precious is that?

Yuki huffs out a laugh, fond and dumbfounded, the corner of her lips tugging upwards. It feels alien on her cheeks. Smiling, that is. Todoroki watched her curiously, almost fascinated by her smile. It's silly. Smiling is an every day thing yet seeing Yuki, who barely does, is like seeing the seven wonders of the world up close. But that's rich, coming from him.

"Alright, I'm sorry. Let's do something simple for breakfast." Yuki suggests. "Japanese or Western?"

"Japanese." Todoroki answers.

"Let's go, then. Isn't there a Japanese restaurant around here...?" Yuki began picking her pace as she looks around the area. Todoroki follows right beside her. They found one a few buildings away, a home-business restaurant. It's not big or fancy, it's small and simple, shown by the humble decorations and simple layout. Very cozy.

"It's a family business." Yuki says, spotting a row of pictures on the wall. The first one is a dull-colored picture of a young couple standing in front of a house. The next one shows the couple again, this time noticeably older, with a young man in the middle of them. the next and last one, the couple is sitting down on chairs, the young man from before now has a woman standing beside him, both just as old as the couple from the previous picture. And now, another set of couple is in the picture.

"It's been three generations." Yuki hums, very much impressed. "That's amazing."

They took a seat a little bit deeper into the place. Yuki detached her sword and sets it down, leaning it on the table, and Todoroki sits across her. They looked through the menu, carefully examining each options before deciding what to get. Yuki decided to order salmon ochazuke while Todoroki ordered the classic Japanese breakfast; rice, grilled fish, miso soup, rolled eggs, and salad.

"So what do you have planned for today?" Yuki leans forward on her seat. It would be a lie to say she's not excited.

"Actually..." Todoroki mumbles, "Bakugou told me not to tell you anything. He said it's better if you don't know."

"Oh, alright then." Yuki nods. "I trust you."

"Thank you." Todoroki smiles at her, and, God, he's so handsome. Not like he isn't in the first place, but smiling makes him look more charming. Warmer. It's a rarity to see him smile. Though it must be the case about her too. Ah, more than soulmate, it's more like they're mirror of each other. They're so alike.

Their food arrives shortly after and they enjoyed the warm, delicate breakfast. Yuki can really taste the freshness of each ingredients. Refreshing and energizing. They try each other's breakfast midway through while pleasantly telling each other about themselves. Which, admittedly, isn't that much. It's through that talk Yuki realized how stale her life before U.A. was.

They paid as soon as they finished and left. Just as Yuki promised, she trusts Todoroki. He leads, and she follows right by his side. They enjoyed the morning breeze, the ambiance, and each other's presence. Yuki is actually enjoying herself after days full of stress. She feels really laid back now.

"I don't know if you'll like the places we'll go to." Todoroki spoke up nervously. "If you don't like it, please tell me. I'll find another place for us to go."

"That's very considerate, thanks." Yuki says. "But, you know, I don't go out much, even if I have places I want to go to. So I'll enjoy it, wherever you bring me to."

Soon, they reach a public park. Todoroki leads the way deep into the center. There is a manmade lake in the middle, beautiful trees and flowers and bushes arranged in a way that it would make a pattern if seen from above. Benches are placed strategically. There are water fountains and sinks. But that's not what Yuki is focused on right now.

Doves, so many doves lingered at the area, in small and large flocks. Pecking the linoleum floor. Oh, this must be where people feed birds. Interesting. But they didn't bring any food here.

"Shou- oh." When Yuki turned to him, Todoroki is carrying a small bag of bird food in his hand. He tears the top open and pours a little bit to Yuki's waiting palms, already rid of her gloves. Some of the doves noticed the sound and came flocking towards them.

"So... how do I feed them?" Yuki looks at the pellets and seeds in her cupped hands.

"You throw them, I think?" Todoroki cocks his head. He tucks the food away.

"Throw them? What if I just put them- oh-"

The doves seems to be impatient as some of them flew right over to Yuki's arm and began pecking the food straight for her hands. This doesn't seem right, they're not supposed to do this, right? Yuki looks over to Todoroki, who looked equally confused as her, and she comes to her own decision. Slowly, gently, she bents her knees down, lowering her whole body until she's finally low enough to drop the food.

The doves on her arms and the rest of their flock came over to the ever-shrinking pile and crowds around it, trying to get to the food. Yuki watches them with apt attention. There's a calm feeling in her heart. Is this the effect of bird-feeding? She looks around; a green area with fresh air. She closes her eyes and listens. The flow of water, rustling leaves, doves.

"What a nice atmosphere." Yuki mumbles.

"It's my first time here too." Todoroki chimes in.

Yuki nods. She shows her hand, and Todoroki pours more food on it.

"Let's come back here again sometimes." Yuki suggest, spreading the bird food on the floor. "If... if you want to?"

"I don't mind." Todoroki answers.

"Okay." Yuki nods, just a tad bit energetic, and goes back to watching the birds eating. Todoroki gives her food, even prompting to feed them too. Now they're crouched down together with a close distance between them. None of them minded the small gap and they're oblivious to their surrounding.

Yuki seems to prefer feeding the birds on her hands as she kept the food on her cupped hands. She would coo and mutter at them, making conversations as if the birds would answer her. It seems to be a habit pet owners has. Todoroki wouldn't know anyway.

He poured whatever is left from the bag to Yuki, and excuses himself to throw away the now empty bag. The closest trash can was only a few feet away. As he threw the bag into the trash can, he hears a yelp and the violent flaps of wings. He turns to see that the birds had flocked off and Yuki is no longer crouching but sitting on her bottom like someone had thrown her off balance.

Todoroki runs over to her and helps her stand back up to her feet. He notices that Yuki is staring at her right hand intently with something akin to a pout on her lips. He asks her what's wrong, what happened, if she was hurt, but she just shook her head with the pout still.

"One of them pecked my finger," Yuki explains. "It didn't hurt, I was just mostly surprised, and- Shouto, please don't cook those birds. I'm serious."

"I'm not hurt, they can't go through my ice anyway, see?" Yuki lifts her hand up and there's really nothing that indicates she was harmed. There's only a small hole on the side of her index finger's proximal phalanx, and it disappears in a matter of seconds. "There, all gone. Let's go wash our hands."

With that, they left the area to look for a public toilet or just a sink, Yuki dragging a sulking Todoroki behind her. He's grumbling, not about the birds, but a curse. "It's the curse again, I'm cursed," he mutters things like that, and Yuki both feels sorry and funny that he actually believes that.

"You're not cursed, there's no such thing as that curse." Yuki shakes her head fondly.

They found a toilet soon after and washed their hands clean off the remnants of the bird food. They were drying their hands off, and Yuki noticed that Todoroki looks... out of it. He's looking slightly downwards, sloppily drying his hands off with torn tissues. Yuki looked around her not-so-subtly and finds nothing out of the ordinary.

"Are you alright, Shouto?" Yuki asks, and that seems to brought Todoroki back to the real world.

"Yeah. It's just..." He trails off for a moment. Todoroki throws away the tissues before reaching out and taking Yuki's left hand in his grasp. Yuki is confused but lets him be. The boy gently swipes his thumb over her palm. He doesn't seem to mind the cold skin. Maybe he's used to it. Maybe he just doesn't care.

"Does it still hurt?" Todoroki asks.

"Not at all." Yuki answers.

"And... your back?"

"It's fine." There's a big and long scar running down Yuki's back. Of course no one sees it. She herself won't be able to unless her back is facing the mirror and she looks at it. If she takes off her outer shirt of her hero costume then they will definitely see part of it from her half-open back. She doesn't really care. "None of them hurts. I'm okay."

Todoroki nods solemnly. He doesn't seem to like that answer.

"Hey, don't think about it, okay?" Yuki pats his shoulder, a gesture of comfort. "Let's just enjoy ourselves today. Have fun together. How does that sound?"

Again, Todoroki nods. They started walking away with Todoroki leading the way and Yuki following him. He's... still holding her hand. Yuki tries to minimize the skin-on-skin contact as little as possible. Although she doesn't know how cold she is, she knows that she's very cold. Courtesy of Midoriya.

It's nice like this, having contact with someone else longer than two seconds. It's new. Feeling a weight on her skin is comforting. Has she been this deprived before? Yuki never realized it. Or, she didn't care for it. It's one of the two. She feels something on her cheeks. Warm. It's been a long time since she last felt warmth.

How comforting.

But things didn't go as Todoroki planned, apparently.

Now, according to Todoroki, they're heading to an attraction site over the next city. However, living in a world where most of its population has a superpower, a transitioning era between peace and chaos, train delays are unfortunately very common. Another villain fight according to the employee.

They and along with other passengers are now waiting for the villain to be taken care of. It's a normal and common occurrence. But Todoroki, well, he doesn't look pleased. It's subtle, but he's annoyed. He looks down at his phone for a second, looks up towards the tracks, looks down to his phone again. His foot is tapping quickly.

Eventually he's so fed up with waiting that he excused himself to get some snacks for them. Yuki feels sorry for him as he walked away. Train delays really do get frustrating at times. She keeps checking the schedule on the station's website, also looking for an alternative route. Then, she hears a chime from the speakers.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are here to announce that the villain on the train tracks has been taken into custody, and the train shall arrive within two minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience."

Hearing that, Yuki quickly opens the messenger app and texts Todoroki. She tells him that he can leave the snacks and just hurry back. However, precisely a minute after, Todoroki says nothing in reply. Heck, he didn't even read it. Maybe he's in line? Maybe his hands are full? Should Yuki call?

Meanwhile Todoroki is at the station's 7-11, looking at the shelves stacked with packaged desserts. It's summer, so their seasonal menu has pears, melons, peaches... Basically everything refreshing. Todoroki stares at the displayed food with jumbled thoughts. He didn't even hear the announcement or his phone's notification.

"Peach is great, but melon is good too..." he mumbles underneath his breath. He can't decide if it's better to buy the peach sandwich or the melon one. He didn't even ask Yuki what fruit and dessert she likes. Oh well. He takes both of the sandwiches and two ramunes. On the way to the cashier he finds a melon roll cake and takes that too. He paid, and left.

Just as he walked through the automatic glass doors, he hears his phone ring from his pocket. It's from Yuki.

"Shimokaze?"

"How far away are you?"

"Not that far-"

"The train is here. It's leaving in forty... eight... forty seven seconds. You have to hurry."

The moment Todoroki hear's that, he hangs up and broke to a dash. Of course the moment Todoroki left everything returned to the way it should be. Of course the train is moving again. Of course. He's not that far away, really, but it feels miles away. Why did he have to be impatient?

He didn't feel like he was slow, but when he arrived at the platform, the train had just left.

Todoroki's shoulder sagged. The platform is now empty, save for himself and Yuki. He stood there motionless, staring at the empty tracks as he heaves to regain his breath. There it goes. They missed the train. He made them miss the train.

"Hey," Yuki greets him.

"...I brought snacks." Todoroki lifts the plastic bag in his hand.

Yuki takes the bag from his hand and peeks inside. She hums as she studied the contents inside, one by one. Yuki lowers the bag and holds Todoroki's hand with her gloved one. He looks like a kicked puppy. Just so... sad. So sad and hurt.

"Let's grab a taxi." Yuki suggests. "I'll pay, okay?"

"No, I'll-" "let me at least pay for this one. And lunch." And, well, Todoroki could only nod as Yuki leads them out of the platform, the station. She spoke with a clear tone of finality and won't take "no" as an answer. So naturally it would be better to obey as she said, no matter of Todoroki disagrees with it.

"I'm sorry I didn't call you earlier." Yuki apologized, even though to Todoroki, she's not at fault.

"I should be the one to apologize. I was impatient." And it's the same case for Yuki too.

They hailed a taxi and soon enough they were already on the way.

Todoroki chqecks his phone. It's 10.30 already. They waited quite a while at the station. With their destination over the next city and the traffic, it would take at least two hours based on the map. Darn, maybe they should've just took the taxi in the first place. The red flag is the delay due to villains, and what did Todoroki do? Decided they should wait. Smart. Good job.

"Here." Yuki offers him an opened ramune. She seems to notice the frustration going through Todoroki's head. Todoroki takes the carbonated drink and takes a small sip. Tastes sweet, a little bit sour too. It's the first time he tried ramune despite it being a common beverage. It tastes refreshing. He takes another sip.

Yuki takes out the melon roll cake out of the bag. There's only one slice of it inside the package. She offers Todoroki a taste, but because there's only one of them, he declined. After making sure that he's okay with it, Yuki eats the cake. It's a long ride. A quiet one. It's not a problem, but it does feel a little bit awkward.

"Have you ever went to an Aquarium before?" Todoroki decides to ask. There's a bright glint in Yuki's eyes even though her expression stays neutral.

"Once, but I wasn't allowed to go in." Yuki answers.

"Why?"

"I was seven, unsupervised."

Has she been going everywhere alone since she was young?

"He's... busy." Yuki suddenly says. "And, you know, since it's only the two of us, sometimes he can't spare some time. So I went there alone." She shrugged her shoulders dismissively, but her eyes has a faraway and blank gaze. "I wasn't old enough to go in alone, apparently. By the time I'm of minimum age, I already lost interest."

"I see." Todoroki nods. He himself couldn't go have fun. But at times, his older siblings are there with him. Going to school together, eating together... he's not completely alone. Yuki, however, is the opposite. She's probably not bothered by it. "There are a lot of things we never experienced. I never went to the aquarium too." Todoroki tells her.

"I'm glad I'm not alone." Yuki says. "I'm... excited. I think?"

"That's good to know. I'm excited too."

The silence returns for the rest of the ride. Well, no, not completely. The taxi driver is a polite old man who engages them in a few conversations. It was a pretty long ride, after all. The driver didn't blabber or talk on and on which is nice. Just enough to set some sort of atmosphere, to be comfortable.

Thankfully, the ride was uninterrupted and smooth. They arrived after an hour. Yuki quickly paid for the taxi before Todoroki could even pull his wallet out (turns out she already took out the money beforehand). She thanked the driver and they bid each other a good day before the taxi drove off. And there they are.

Yuki takes in the surroundings. Then she looks at the entrance. A large archway with writings on top, greetings hanging below. Colored blue and decorated with a whale and dolphin. Typical. It's an open area around them. The building for the ticket counters is also blue, painted as an underwater scenery. No doubt to attract attention.

They headed to the counter and gets in line. In the queues are mostly families with little children, as it usually would. Underwater has a charm, like it's magic, kids would definitely be attracted to it. So maybe, Yuki is a child too. Not the little annoying loud ones of course, but she's not a legal adult- anyway, they received their ticket, and in they go.

Firstly, it's dark inside. After standing at an open area where the midday sun shines, it took some time for their eyes to adjust to the darkness. The hallways are like a cinema hall - cramped with the crowd, dark with its dim lights. And then the area opens up.

In a way that Yuki doesn't know, the whole Aquarium already feels mesmerizing. The path for them to walk is still dim, but the aquarium itself is bright. It almost has a blue glow to it. Various fishes swims behind the nearly floor-length glass, oblivious to the human eyes watching them.

There are medium pools surrounded by what's supposed to be rock walls (but clearly cement) on the path. Each of them has a sign that gives them permission to touch the fish. Yuki peers over to read the explanation panels. It's a type of shark. Is it really allowed to be touched? What if the shark doesn't like it?

Todoroki who's by her side reached down and touched one of the swimming shark. It swam away soon after he pulls back, and he rubs his fingers with a curious expression.

"How does it feel?" Yuki asks.

"Slimy." Todoroki answers, wiping his fingers on his own pants. "You're not going to try?"

"I'm cold." Yuki points out. "I'm not sure if it's okay."

"Your cat is fine when you touch it."

"Lizzie's a cat, not a fish." Yuki shakes her head at him as she takes off her right glove. She peers over the pool once again, hands pressed to her chest, eyes carefully tracking the small sharks swimming about. When one is close enough to her, she reached down. She could feel the wet and slimy texture of the skin on her fingertips, but then that shark swam away with a violent wag of its tail.

The force of the movement made the water splash, some landing on Yuki. She jerked away her hand and face instinctively and tumbled back. Todoroki also stepped away and comes to her side. She blinks dumbly, clean hand coming up to wipe the splashed water off her face.

"I don't think they like the cold." Yuki says.

Well, hopefully the rest of their date goes well.

Heya! Rica's here!

how's everyone doing? i hope all of you are doing well~ here is the long awaited date chapter! i tried making it as fluffy as i could but i dont know if i did well hahah. fluff isnt my cup of tea. i hope the format isnt weird, im editting from my phone in the desktop version. its very confusing.

anyway, i wanted to do the whole date in this one chapter, but i sorta lost motivation halfway through, and since its already 5.1k words i thought this might be a good point to pause. the ending looks rushed right?

with that said, unfortunately, i will be going on a break. writing this particular chapter is unexpectedly draining and i dont feel like forcing myself like i usually do. im very sorry. i hope you understand.

while i wont be uploading new chapters, i will use this time to read back from the beginning and fix up some things. typos, messy paragraphs and narration, possibly plot holes? i wont know until i properly read it back.

im sorry that you have to wait longer for the next chapter, and i hope this chapter somewhat reaches your expectation. as always, thank you for supporting! feedbacks are appreciated!

with that, Rica's out!
