Saturday October 8th 2022

They got home and and relieved Erin and Nikki who was watching the girls. They said they were good but had a few fights throughout the morning.

"Mommy do you know if it's a boy baby or a girl baby?" Emmalyn asked.

"We don't know yet, we'll find that out tomorrow at grandpas." She told her and Scarlett came over wanting Eddie to pick her up.

"Hi sweetie!" Eddie picked her up and kissed her.

"Emmalyn did you finish that worksheet for school?" Jamie asked her.

"Oh yeah." Eddie said and put Scarlett down to play. Jamie started to open Emmalyn's bag to double check.

"Daddy I did it!" Emmalyn got defensive trying to stop Jamie from going in her bag.

"Hey...Em...!" Eddie yelled at her. She was trying to get her bag from him.

"I need to see you did it." Jamie told her but she hit him.

"Emmalyn come here!" Eddie was not impressed by her actions.

"No! I did it!" Emmalyn was so mad but listened and went to Eddie.

"You do not hit daddy! Go sit in your room." Eddie pointed and she stomped off. Eddie went over to Jamie to look for the paper she had to finish.

"WAHH!" Scarlett started randomly crying. They both turned around to see what happened. Emmalyn pushed her down and then hurried off to her room knowing she was caught.

"Emmalyn Nicole!" Eddie went after her and Jamie picked up Scarlett, she had a red mark on her cheek where she hit the floor.

"You're okay." Jamie told her knowing she was. Eddie came out with a pissed off look on her face. Emmalyn crying in her room.

"I spanked her and she's sitting in there for 15 minutes." Eddie said and then saw Scarletts little mark on her.

"Huh you're okay sweetie. I know that was not nice of her." Eddie told her rubbing her hands through her hair.

"I wonder what that was all about?" Jamie said.

"I don't know. She hasn't been into doing her homework and I don't know why." Eddie said.

Later that day the girls were playing nicely while Jamie and Eddie cuddled on the couch watching a movie. Jamie's phone rang, he got up to get it. Eddie knew it was probably work.

"I gotta go in for a few hours. Mcnichols called out." Jamie said and went to get ready quick. Eddie got up to meet him in the bedroom.

"But she's works midnights..." Eddie said standing in the doorway watching him get dressed.

"Yeah, But I'll be back around then. You'll be okay. Right?" He second guessed what he said.

"Yeah I guess." She said shrugging her shoulders. They're both always home for the nights.

"Good. I love you." He kissed her and walked out of the room.

"Bye girl's, daddy's gotta go work. Give me a kiss, I'll see you in the morning." Jamie said and knelt down to them. Emmalyn kissed his cheek and Scarlett gave him a big wet one right on the lips.

"Mmm thanks Scar." He laughed and wiped off the slobber as he left. Eddie was left to do bath time and bedtime by herself now. Not that she was incapable, but if she would have known Jamie would have to work she would've done it with him earlier.

She went to the bathroom and started filling the tub with water, soap and the toys of course. She got out their towels and pajamas.

"Alright come on girls, bath time." Eddie called out for them wanting to get them done and to bed. She was tired too. Emmalyn came right over and got undressed, she liked baths.

"Scarlett come on." Eddie called out but then walked out to the living room to get her. She started walking away from Eddie and shaking her head no.

"Hey...no?" Eddie picked her up and took her to the bathroom to strip her down.

"No." Scarlett said shaking her little head when she saw what she was going to be doing.

"Yess" Eddie said getting her diaper off. Emmalyn was already in the tub splashing around.

"Okay Em, this is not going to be a 45 minute bath. Daddy's at work so it's just mommy putting you guys to bed so we're gonna be quick okay?" Eddie told her while she put Scarlett in the water with her.

"Is the baby hurting you?" Emmalyn asked.

"No sweetie, the baby just makes mommy tired and want to rest." Eddie told her while she started to wash Scarletts hair. She starts whining and crying because she hates it. Emmalyn starts getting mad because Scarletts kicking and splashing her in the face.

"Emmalyn then turn your head or close your eyes. Scarlett, we're almost done." Eddie said rinsing the last bit of soap from her hair. She was just done already. Her fuse was short.

Eddie woke up at 7am, Jamie was in bed asleep next to her. The sun was shining through the blinds. She laid in bed taking advantage of a quiet Sunday morning. Today was the day they'd find out what they were having and she was excited. Jamie rolled over and saw she was awake.

"Good morning" he said and she smiled.

"How was your night?" He asked feeling a little bad he had to skip out on her.

"It was okay. I managed." She said and turned to face him.

"I knew you'd be fine." He told her and grinned.

"How was work?" She asked.

"Good, I got a call about that house soon after I left here actually." He said. Eddie sat up and looked at him waiting for him to say more. He sat up in bed too, not showing any emotion.

"We got it." Jamie said followed with a smile.

"What!?" Eddie was shocked and wrapped her arms around his neck hugging him. He couldn't help but laugh and hug her back.

"Why didn't you tell me!?" She said punching his arm when she let go.

"Huh! Eddie I wanted to tell you in person!" He said in defense.

"You could've woke me up last night!" She said laying back down.

"I knew you were exhausted, I wanted you to be awake to see your reaction." He said and laid down spooning her, he rested his hand on her baby bump.

"C'mon are you mad?" Jamie asked.

"No I'm not mad I just wish we could've been together when you got that call. You would've been home but you had to work of course." She said.

"I'm sorry." He kissed her shoulder softly and worked his way to her neck.

"Prove it." She said flirtatiously. He smiled and kept going. She couldn't help but relax and let him seduce her. After all it didn't take much. Jamie had no problem listening and continued to kiss her and love on her.

They got to Franks right on time with the girls and cake in hand.

"Hey!" Frank said when they walked in.

"Big day!" Erin said excited when she saw Eddie holding the cake.

"I know! Can we have dessert first?" Eddie asked joking.

"I want to have dessert first!" Emmalyn said making everyone laugh. Dinner was ready so they sat down right away to eat.

They told them they got the house and talked about timeline what they're looking at. Someone would have to take the girls overnight for the moving day because that would just be too much. Everyone was so happy and excited for them. The time had finally come to cut the cake. Jamie brought it in from the kitchen and set it in front of them.

"Okay wait a minute. Hold on. What do you two think it is?" Frank said.

"We both think it's a boy." Jamie said.

"Any reason?" Linda asked.

"I personally feel different then with Scarlett." Eddie told her.

"I just think I need a boy." Jamie said laughing.

"No but I see what Eddies saying, there's some differences with this pregnancy." Jamie said thinking about her sex drive and how it hasn't been too insane. They've been keeping it close to 4 times a week which was nothing compared to her last pregnancy.

"Alright well only one way to find out." Danny said wanting them to cut the cake so he could eat it.

"Alright ready Em..." Jamie let her help him cut into it. Eddie anxiously waiting for him to pick up the piece and see what it was...

"Blue!!" Emmalyn yelled as soon as she could see it.

"It's a boy!!" Eddie was so excited and gave Jamie the biggest hug he was just as excited if not more. The whole family was cheering with them and clapping, they scared Scarlett so Jamie ended up picking her up to stop her.

"Aww!" Erin said.

"Oh my god I'm shocked but yet I'm not!" Eddie said giving Erin a hug in excitement.

"Scarlett don't worry this is good!" Emmalyn assured her. She wanted a brother so she was pumped.

"Congrats guys" Danny said.

"Very exciting!" Linda added.

"Awesome." Frank said smiling back at pop who was also excited. Everyone settled down, Scarlett stopped crying and snuggled into Jamie while he sat down.

"Mommy what's his name?" Emmalyn wanted to know right away.

"You guys have a name picked out?" Pop asked and Eddie just looked at Jamie.

"We can tell them if you want?" Jamie said passing the cake for everyone else to get a piece.

"So we're between 2..." Eddie said. Everyone just waited to hear.

"We like Wyatt Jameson or Tanner Jameson." Eddie put out there.

"Ooo! I love that!" Erin said.

"Which one!?" Jamie said laughing.

"I have no idea I just love them both." Erin said and everyone just laughed. They still didn't know what they were gonna pick.

I think their both thrilled to be having a boy! WHICH NAME DO YOU GUYS LIKE?! And If anyone wants to ya know help your girl out I am having extreme writers block lol, anyone got any little plots to write about or want to read more of? I enjoy writing the police stuff but at the same time it is tough because I don't know the ins and outs. When it comes to them being at home with the girls I'm very well educated on mom life and parenting so I can write just about anything. LMK! :-)
