Tornado panther
The next day Maya awoke with new strength and rushed to tell the other about last night. They were all shocked about it and uncertain but understood when they heard about the necklace being the cause.
"Then we must be ready for anything. Garmadon will not succeed." Wu glared.
"We'll head out now. It will give you us all time." Maya glares.
"Do not worry, we will protect our village, you destroy this menace." Jag came up with other warrior who roared in approval.
The ninja smiled at this and nodded. Lloyd looked up "Maya…." He looked worried.
"We'll get him back Lloyd don't worry." Maya stoked his hair and he nodded.
At that the ninja left, Misako showing them the way to the cave.
"I am sorry I have not had time to catch up with you Maya." Misako smiled as they rode on Zane's bike.
"You had your song back, I understand. He really wouldn't of bean safe anywhere you want." She sighed.
"It was hard, I wanted him so much, but to keep him safe I did what I had too. But thank you." Misako smiles.
"For what?" Maya seems confused.
"For taking care of him." Misako looks down.
"It's what anyone should do. And I owed you for training me." Maya smiles.
The rest was silent as they headed to the caves.
At the caves. Zane had already awoken and knew the others were coming, he could sense it. 'Please hurry my friend, before Garmadon tries anything.
At that moment the said monster came out, his eyes redder than ever before. Zane saw he was going for that strange crystals that controlled the strong army 'I have to buy them time.'
"Do you truly believe you will be satisfied if you win like this?" Zane looks over at his capture.
Garmadon looked over and said "It is the only way, evil runs in my veins."
"But not in the ones you love, would they ever forgive you if you did this." Zane frowned.
"What would you do get the ones care for back." Garmadon growled.
"If I was bitten by that snake. I would have run away. And kept them as far away as I could so I would not hurt them." Zane looked down saddened at this truth.
"You can only run away from what you are for so long ninja. Trust me. I wonder if what you're telling me is the truth." Garmadon smirks.
He goes over to a batch of some ooze and puts in in a cup "I wonder what a power boost of this would do to you. It makes you stronger but it warp your mind." Garmadon chuckled.
"No don't." Zane struggled in his chains.
"Hold him general and have him open wide." Garmaodn smirked.
Zane struggled but the stone general was too strong, he held Zane tight and forced his mouth open. Garmadon chuckled as he came up, the liquid in hand.
Zane tried to fight but as Garmadon got near it was too late 'My friend, my love. I'm so sorry.' A tear runs down his eye.
At that moment the ninja rush in, Misko needing to go back to protect her son. But as they rushed in they saw what Garmadon was doing "Zane!" Maya shouted.
At that Garmadon let Zane go and said to the general "Let him go, prepare to fight your friend ninja." Garmadon smirked.
At that Zane dropped to the ground unconscious. But soon he stood up and his icy eyes glowed menacingly.
"What did you do to him!" Kai yelled.
"Just gave him a bit of a taste of the islands power." Garmadon headed to his seat.
The other tried to stop him but ice made them slip. "Zane?" Jay said shocked.
Zane was shaking, grabbing at his head as his powers seemed to go out of control. "I can't stop it!" he shouts.
"Yes you can Zane!" Maya shouts.
"No Maya, don't come close!" he tries to back away as his power create a spiky barrier.
"You guys get Garmadon I have Zane!" Maya shouted.
They looked worried but nodded as they trusted Maya. At that they rushed off but Garmadon used his soldiers to keep the ninja at bay.
Maya walked towards Zane who yelled "No, don't, I don't want to hurt you." Zane shook, his power fluxing.
Maya did spinjitsue to slam the ice away and said "You could never hurt me Zane, please let me near let me help you."
"No you will be frozen." Zane gagged out the ice spreading as he curled up to the cave wall, trying to use the venge stone but it only froze in his hands.
"Zane please, I won't run away from this, remember our promise. Last night we promised we wouldn't give up." Maya jumped over the ice wall.
"But I…I've bean poisoned." Zane felt ice tears in his eyes.
"It's only a flush of power, not the same poison that Garmadon has in him. You'll be fine I promise." Maya tries ot get closer but Zane stands up and ties to run but falls on his face.
"Maya please." Zane looks up with his eyes still glowing, his powers making the room even colder.
'I have to calm him down, but how.' Then she remembered last night, how he calmed her down.
Maya sighed and the sang.
"A curse that sharers had
Thought I'd break my back

Zane heard her and she was getting close but somehow 'Why do I feel so calm.' The ice seemed to felt slightly as he felt this.
'It's working, hear my voice Zane. I'm here.' Maya get closer at this and keeps singing hoping to get him to let her get close enough.

Zane felt the power flux gone and almost complete calm, the ice was gone and he looked at May and thought 'My love. How can you not be afraid.' He thinks with real tears this time.
'Now's my chance.' She thought as she kneeled next to him.
"Your the solution right here to my oldest truths

At that she took his face in her hands and kissed him. Even if his skin was cold, and he hand numbed she did not let go 'I won't let you down.'
At that her crystal and his green energy seemed to come together, covering them like the time they destroyed the mega woepon and as it did Zane got warmer and his eyes no longer glowed.
At last Zane gasped when the energy disappeared and he said "But how…"
"I just fallowed my instincts, besides, you can't get rid of me that easily frosty." Maya smiles.
"No!" they heard an angry voice call. They looked to see Garmadon eyes even redder and, was he bigger.
"That's not how it works, that's not how it ends. It ends in misery, hurt, loneliness how…" he was stopped as Cole punched him in the jaw and jumped way quickly "Have you not been paying attention?" Cole frowns.
"Guys we have to do this now!" Maya helps Zane up "Are you strong enough?"
"Yes, I think I am." Zane says determined. If they did not do this now there be no other chance.
"Then let's do this boys!" Cole called.
They all began to do spinjitsue, Maya lets go of Zane to let him join in.
"What are you all doing, that won't work." Garmaodn growls.
Then Maya unleashed her true potential and Garmadon realizes "No, no you fool what are you doing! Stop her!"
The stone army tried to get at her but she fought them off until she jumped into the tornado and then the same energy they felt the first time but more extreme overflowed them.
"Panther Tornado!" they called as suddenly an explosion of light bursted.
Garmaodn yelled at his, and ran as fast as he could. The stone army crumbled in the wake of the attack, as did the crystal chair.
Once the light was gone the cave was also gone, all that where left where the ninja, out cold on the ground.
They soon all began to stir.
"Did we win?" Jay asked.
"I think so." Kai said rubbing his head.
"Waugh, the whole cave is gone." Cole looked around shocked.
"I feel so drained." Maya groans as she looks around to find everyone safe but.
"Zane!" Maya shouts as she stumbles to a motionless white form.
"Oh no." Kai said worried as they all limped over.
Zane was unmoving on the ground as Maya layed on him and cried "Zane, Zane, come on don't do this."
Zane didn't seem to be responding as the other gathered and looked on saddened. They each place a hand on him.
"Come on Zane, wake up buddy." Kai frowns.
"Hey Frosty, wake up, we still have the final battle. You can't just…" Cole didn't finish.
"Zane, Zane, come on this isn't funny!" Exclaimed Jay.
"This is my fault he was too week. I shouldn't of…"
"No, Zane knew the risk, he never want you to blame yourself." Kai held her shoulders.
"But I can't lose him, Zane come back to me." Maya then noticed her ring, the ice was still there.
"He's still alive, guys he's still alive!" Maya shouted.
"How do you know?" Jay asks.
"My ring, his ice." Maya panted.
At that they remembered Zane explaining the ring "But then why….?" Cole tries to ask.
"Argh, I believe it had something to do with the power surge." Zane responded tired.
"Zane!" they all hugged him.
"Oof, while I am happy to see you all, I cannot breathe properly." Zane sighs.
They all get off accept Maya "Don't ever scare me like that again." She cried.
"I will try." Zane smiled and held her close.
Then "There they are!"
Nya in her mech came flying in with Wu and Dr. Julien.
Nya rushed to Kai who hugged her and Jay picked her up and spinned her around "You guys did it!"
"Zane!" the two fathers rushed over to their son and adopted son.
"Fathers." Zane smiled weakly.
"What happened?" Wu looked worried.
"And those buises, those brutes." Julien glared.
Maya chuckled at the protective two and said "It's a long story but we'll tell you everything."
Nya got back on her mech and carried them all back to the city, the other explaining what happened. Wu had half a mind to fight his brother himself for poisoning Zane but was glad that he would just need some tee to get whatever in his system out and Julien wasn't to far away form Wu on wanting to beat up Garmadon for the bruises his son had but all he could do was fix him up.
Zane felt flushed at their attention but he also felt loved at their protectiveness.
Once back at the city they where congratulated by everyone. Jag calling out "Tonight we feast on this victory!"
Everyone cheered but Maya said "We still need to finish the final battle thought." Maya looked worried.
"My brother is no doubt injured after what happened. A bit of rest will do you all no harm." Wu smiled.
The ninja cheered and Zane smiles but Maya frowns, uncertain about it all.
"Maya I sense uncertainty." Maya sighs at Zane's words.
"It's just, after what almost happened." Maya looked on sadly.
Zane holds her close "Maya, today you showed me we can do anything if we believe in each other. You did not give up on me. Do not feel despair when there is nothing to worry over just yet." Maya sighed but nodded.
Maybe she did need to calm down.
At that Zane was sent to some healers in the palace to get better while the others where giving special cloths for a celebration, they be having tonight. They'd all be wearing kimonos in their own colors.
As the girls got ready Nya seemed happy as she put on some make up.
"It sound like it's going to be a fun night." As she looks down at the people decorating the city.
Nya was in a long dark blue kimono with gray and light blue edges, decorated in waves of water, sleeves where long and off the shoulder with a small bow rapped around her waist.
"Yeah it does look like it will be nice." Maya said still a bit uncertain.
She was wearing a long lavender kimono with sleeves down to the floor, off the shoulder, black and lilac edges, and decorated with panther spots, her bow was lilac and it was large with the ribbon to the ground.
"Are you okay, you seem worried?" Nya pats her shoulder.
"I just can't help feeling that something might happen." Maya sighs.
"With everything that's happened so far who can blame you, the ball, a few of your dates. It's only natural you feel weary." Nya tries to smile.
"Maybe. I just hope tonight is at least peaceful." Maya sighs.
"Most likely, Garmadon's got no soldiers and no power source. He might need time before he can do any harm for a while." Nya smirks certain.
Out in the jungle….
Garmadon was running about, crashing and thrashing into things as he growled like a wild animal, his body looked distorted as he looked bigger, his eyes glowing more, and his face starting to take the shape of a dragon.
